Evil Hikaru Modotta!!
Oh, my god. I wasn't going to write tonight because I have too many things to talk about, but I just finished reading 53 of Death note chapters... Yes!! Katta, katta! Raito wa katta! He won! He absolutely planned out a way to get himself that notebook back! I love Raito! He is amazing! I cannot believe it! He is so back! Yay, Evil Hikaru! I hope he never leaves again! If stupid L gets in the way, I don't know what I'll do. God! Raito is the man! This is the best thing I've seen in manga/anime in a long time. It's equivalent to Kuroudo popping up in the anime or manga for the first time in a period of time. I nearly flipped when I saw it was out and I sped through some Econ homework just so I could read it. So worth it. I hope I dream of Raito... It's great to have him back.

I woke early this morning (11:00--hehe) to help Yuri with a speech for her class at 1:00 or something like that. She had to do this thing like she was doing a radio commercial. She didn't know what to do, so I basically did it for her. I mean, I literally wrote it. She was like, "you should type it for me." So I simply asked her what she wanted and I produced it. It was a thing for bringing in old cars and turning them in for cash. There was this line, "Bring it on down!" that I was trying to get her to say with feeling, but she claimed she couldn't. I was merely teasing, but it was fun to try to force her to do it.

I went to retarded class and Wellness was okay. Just reminds me that I'll probably have a short life unless I waste more of it doing exercise and eating well. Even people with good health get cancer--might as well enjoy it now before I die. Okay, so then I went to lunch. I got full so quickly. I made a pizza and ate a salad and didn't finish the pizza. I'm getting better at making them. Big mistake to eat it. My stomach was going crazy at my 3:00 class. I didn't mind that 3:00 class too much. It made me think again about the unsureness of my job future. But, oh, well.

After I came back, I planned to nap, but instead I got into a discussion with Yuri about helping me with Japanese. Cuz I got a quiz tomorrow. Oh, yeah, Iku was in the room when I got there. She left some cookies and juice in there and told us to bring them when we went to the AIS meeting tonight. Yuri said she wasn't going, but I said she was cuz she was trying to force me to. Anyway, we practiced Japanese for a while and it was really hard for her to explain to me how to conjugate the verbs. It was fun though. She taught me some other useful stuff that wasn't related to my current studies. She kept telling me to tell Iku to shut up in Japanese. I did once and then I did later on at the AIS meeting. Yuri kept talking and making comments. It was funny, but damn is she distracting!

We went to dinner first and it was okay. I mean, better than damn lunch. Mashed potatoes with gravy and some noodles with meat sauces. Piece of bread. Then we went to the AIS meeting nearby. Before dinner we had brought the cookies and juice to Iku who was hanging out at the Campus Grounds for some reason. You know, Japanese people love to shorten names. They call the Campus Ground, "kyangura." Basically, "Cam Grou." Oh, and Iku decided she wanted to call me by my last name. So Yuri decided she would call me "Ten." Weird, but I said okay.

The AIS meeting was fun. Lots of people and Yuri and I kept giggling to each other. She was so lazy, she didn't want to introduce herself when the group went around and did so. Yuri kept raising my hand for events I didn't want to attend to, and I tried to get her to want to go to the Chocolate Factory thing. AIS has a lot of things I may want to do--more so than I ever thought. I had hoped Yuri would want to go to the formal party, but she said she would try to go see Cherry Blossoms since it was her birthday tradition (the party's the same day as her b-day, but she refuses to go).

After the meeting we hung out and Yuri tried to tell me one, she wasn't going to the BSU meeting and two, that she knew Americans. So I made her show me her knowledge of Americans. Some stuff she said was true, like we don't like to do stuff often (we're kinda lazy), and others were not true. She then, for some reason, starting telling me this joke. I didn't know it was a joke because she didn't say that she was doing that. She was like, "what do you call someone who speaks two languages?" I said, "billingual." Next she asked, "what do you call someone who speaks three languages?" I said, "trilingual." I thought maybe she'd asked four (which I didn't know), but then she asked, "what do you call someone who speaks one language?" I was stumped. She said, "Americans." I was so shocked she was doing a joke. I hit her and asked her where she learned that. She was cracking up. I jokingly said she was insulting Americans now. Then she started to tell another joke (apparently this is her next Public Speaking assignment) about the library. It was basically this: "During exam times the library is like a bar because everyone is there." And I was like, "that's it??" And it was! I was like, "that sucked!!" I demanded that she not tell that joke because it was the worst I had heard in a long time.

Yuri tried to run away when I and some other girls I knew from AIS started to go to the BSU meeting at 8:00. I slid her out of her chair, pushed her along, and convinced her that being at the meeting would be more fun than doing homework. We all walked together and Yuri sat behind me, while I sat by this girl from my Biology class last semester. Then suddenly I heard Megumi call my name. I look behind me and Yuri is at the door of the BSU house struggling to get the door open. Before I can get to my feet she bolts out and runs away! I couldn't believe it. It was crazy! I was slightly embarrassed. But the meeting was pretty funny. I talked a lot with the girl from Biology. Later Double T showed up. I talked with her after the meeting about joining a sorority. She thought I might be interested. Not sure if I am. Really. What's in it for me? Knowing people? Pass.

When I got back to my room, Iku was there again and I told Yuri how surprised I was at her. Yuri kept telling me to tell Iku to shut up in Japanese, but I didn't. I started to jump on doing my Econ homework. It was f-ing hard. So I just B-S-ed it and went on my way (cuz there was Death Note to be read). Um... Hmm. Something else. Well, I wished Iku had stayed over. It was fun having her over. I actually got to use my favorite word with them, "mendokusai." Yuri taught me earlier that I could use it whenever someone asks me to do something. For example: "Want to go to a party?" I can say, "mendokusai." Something along the lines that it's a pain to go or I'm too lazy. She said since I was a "lazy asshole," I should use that word often. Yay! I'm Shikamaru! The Mendokuse Kid! I love him and now I'm him! Woo hoo!! It's great because Yuri kept telling me in Japanese to turn on the heat and turn it off. So I could say, "mendokusai" and not do it. Hehe. I had a lot of fun today. It was nice. And I practiced Japanese more than usual. Yatta (I did it). Now this is the power of Thursday...

Quote:
Yuri: Her major is drinking.
Me: How do you know?
Yuri: Because she's from Mexico
--after a Mexican exchange student introduced herself (Only because it was Yuri and she's Japanese could I allow myself to laugh at that, but I was shocked regardless)

Running, Hunger, and Blood
I learned an important lesson today. Always buy sweatpants larger than you usually do. I wasn't able to contact Double T. to borrow some pants for Wellness lab today, so I woke early and went to Family Dollar. I decided not to shower until I had finished my only class for that day, so I basically rolled out of the bed and went. On the way there, I discovered this building I thought couldn't possibly be a post office, actually was the fabled post office! And it's close. Not next door to Bica Ross (my dorm) close, but it's basically next door to Beeghly Hall. That's awesome. Now I can sell things while I'm here with relatively no problem. I'm not sure what I want to sell though... I have this stupid doujinshi that a retarded website sent me by mistake (I ordered one with a Kuroudo x Ginji pairing and they sent me a stupid one about Kazuki involving retarded Juubei who I hate with Kazuki) that I wanna get rid of. But anyway...

I actually found several pairs of sweatpants I liked in that place, but not all were great prices. I mean, I did buy two for under $20 dollars, but I would have liked to get a black pair. But for some reason I thought a gray pair would look best with most of the shirts I'm thinking wearing for lab. So I go back to my room and try them. Uh...the blue pair, my more favorite one, have a horrible problem: they're not too tight in the leg area, but they outline my like crotch area. So I have this triangle outline in the middle that is not attractive. So that is supremely guitar. The next are okay, but the same sort of problem exists, but not to the same extreme. I'm wearing them right now. They're okay if you pull them down a bit and wear a long shirt. But now a days I have not so many long shirts.

I stupidly shaved my legs. Well, one leg. Then I got tired of it and used this Veet stuff. I like that stuff once you take the time to use it. It's pretty great. And in comparison to the leg I shaved, which was bleeding in areas and kinda stung, my Veet-ed leg felt alright. So I returned my gray pants to my legs and went on my way to class after grabbing my bag. Class was stupid. We did the walking thing. 15 laps to get 1.5 mile. That's kinda excessive. I jogged the first two laps, and then walked the rest. I was like the last person to finish. I'd be embarrassed if I gave a rat's ass about Wellness. Oh, Tomomi's in the class, as I suspected. However, though it's good to have a familair face in my class, she totally killed in the walk-jog thing. She was like, "I'm nervous because I haven't exercised in a while, " but she was like one of the first to finish. She kept passing me and waving. Made me feel slow and out of shape. Which I am, but still...

I ate another crappy lunch with my choice of pizza, salad, or soup. So incredibly stupid. Then I wasn't even hungry. The weird thing was when I returned to take a shower. I took off my pants and noticed there was blood on the inside of them. First I thought it was from my shaved leg until I noticed it was on the wrong one. It was weird because the blood didn't bleed through, so I wouldn't have noticed until I took the pants off. So then I noticed I had semi-deep cut on my leg. Where did it come from? I have no damn clue! It was so weird. Did I get it from Wellness or what? I don't remember scrapping against anything and it looked like a cut that would hurt. Fushigi desu ne (That's strange)...

I then napped along with Yuri and was interrupted in my sleep by ol' Rummy calling. I thought it was Dad. Anyway, he told me I got a package and though I told him he wasn't getting his present, I told him to open the thing because it surely was his thing. Then I slept for a little longer before getting up.

At some point, after fiddling around with my Kuroudo Remix, I starting to do accounting homework. So easy I could just spit at it. So I didn't do the reading. Who needs it? Then Mari barged in, followed by Megu (one of Yuri's friends whom I'm acquainted with), and demanded help. I jokingly said, "I didn't say 'come in.'" And she was like, "I don't care--I need help." Yes, she is the bossy Japanese around these parts (whom I've met anyway). It was nice, though having the two around. They stayed and did their homework while I helped them out as if I was some kind of genius. Yuri's side comments were great. She kept trying to answer the questions they asked and say all this other funny stuff. At some point I was watching MAD TV and Bobby Lee was doing his skit where he's a Korean baby. Yuri commented, "I hate when I see Asians doing that. It makes me sad." Something to that effect. Her statement is kinda true, but I still couldn't help but laugh. Bobby is just too hilarious. I love him.

The best part was when Yuri kept asking people (including me) what they were going to do this weekend. And everyone kept saying that it was too early. And it is. So somehow Yuri and I got to the point that I told her to make me a list of the things she thinks I should do, and then I'll do them. And she did. This is what Yuri's list for my weekend via post-it-note says:

1.go bowling
2. drink
3. go party
4. make out (I can leave this room for you)
5. say to Yuri "Thank you, it's your turn next"

And I did not edit it. That's exactly what it says. Hilarious. So I told her if she wants me to make out with someone, she'll need to find someone for me. Yuri, in return, said she would if I found her someone. A more difficult task than her finding me someone. Japanese people are more particular. Oh, but I love when we were talking of going to the Chocolate Factory, an event that's coming up in February for the AIS. I kept talking about asking if I could jump in the chocholate, but since Yuri hadn't seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, she didn't know what I was talking about. Still funny though.

Double T. did come by recently and brought me a pair a pants. So nice! She thought I had the lab tomorrow. I still appreciate it, since I only have one pair I can actually wear to class and now I have two. Fabulous. We talked for a while before we hugged and she left. She mentioned a party on Saturday, but I dunno... I don't dance and I surely don't talk to people. But maybe... If I can get her to go bowling with me on Friday, then maybe I will go to the party. I'll have done everything on her list cept the make out part. And that ain't happening. If it did, that would be the weirdest thing ever. Well, time for bed. Naruto 118 is downloading as I speak and hopefully it be at least half done when I wake up. I hate this slow school internet... It's like waiting for stuff to be delivered in the mail...

Quote: You lazy asshole!

Tactics
Really I did nothing today but watch the several episodes of Tactics I was behind on. For some reason the fansubbing group Spoon in junction with Shisen (I think that's the name) did like five or so episodes I didn't already have. And when the break ended I already had two episodes I hadn't watched, so they released 9-13 and I had more in reserve to watch. So since it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I decided to take the opportunity to relax. Although, Tuesday is just my "lab" day in Wellness and nothing more, so it's really like a five-day weekend for me...

Okay, Tactics as well is picking up. I was beginning to get bored with it, but it's shown promise again. There was this one episode (watched so many can't tell which one) where Kantarou was acting kinda mean to Haruka. It was so funny. He was like purposely pissing Haruka off. It was so great! It's hard to think of Kantarou badly because he is so cute with that Nataku (also Murata from KKM) voice. Plus, he's drawn so cute, so even if he's saying bad things it's not easy to think of him as a bastard. I really liked that episode because Kantarou kept making Haruka do stuff by calling him by his name. I guess I had forgotten that youkai are bound to do as their master say if their masters have named them.

The next great thing about Tactics was the appearance of Kantarou's rival, Hasumi! Why is Hasumi so great? Um, well, for one, he pisses Kantarou off, makes a fool out of said person, and he's voiced by Nobuo Tobita aka Akabane Kuroudo! Woo hoo! I guess I forgot he was in there. At first when I heard Hasumi I was like, "hey, is that Kuroudo's voice?" But I doubted myself at first thinking, "no, I would have remembered his voice was in this anime," but obviously no I didn't. But after listening more, I was convinced it was him and went to check online to confirm it. I hope Hasumi shows up again as I'm guessing he will. Oh, it's also pretty entertaining to have Kantarou and Haruka hating someone, namely Hasumi. So I'm sure Hasumi is going to be one of those ever so important rivals that always pops up to "cause trouble." That's in quotations because usually these rivals don't cause trouble, it's just annoying for some of the main characters when he or she shows up. Like Kuroudo to some extent. Hehe.

Lastly, Tactics has picked up because--good Lord--some villainous people have shown up. They're after Haruka for some weird reason. Not sure why... There's a stupid girl whom I don't care for, and then there's this awesome guy in a soldier outfit. That guy is cool! What's his name... Starts with an "R." Raifo or something like that... They only mentioned in episode 13. Not only is this guy's voice familair (I'm trying to figure out who it is before I check it), but he also uses a great sword. You know, I love those sword-fighters. He's given Tactics fifteen extra points. But when you think of it in terms of evilness, though he has set up traps for Haruka and Kantarou, he's about as evil as that teacher from Meine Liebe I love so much. This "R" guy keeps leaving not too soon after Haruka gets his ass kicked. Claims he wants to be the one to defeat Haruka. Kinda dumb, unless he reveals a reason why that shouldn't be.

Tactics, though I'm sure not a immensely popular anime, probably--I'm sorry--would have a lot of yaoi doujinshi if it wasn't, like I said, not very popular. I'm wondering if it'd be more often Kantarou was uke or if Haruka was? I always tend to think the "cuter" one of a pairing will be the uke, but that's not always the case or the popular case. Which brings me to a good point about Death Note pairings... Or I should just say a pairing with Raito and L. L is so unnattractive, I can't decide if I'd like him better as an uke or a seme. I've yet to buy any yet, but I did read part of one doujinshi I was interested in, Lent. L was the uke and it didn't seem too bad. I suppose it will depend on how much the artist accents L's ugliness. Unlike Death Note's brother Hikaru no Go, I refuse to buy a doujinshi where I think Raito is drawn badly or too far from what he looks like in the book. Raito for me is nearly manga perfection, as far as character design goes. That's why I flip when I see those Death Note chapters with color. L is fugly, but Raito is superb. I keep thinking I like Raito better as a seme because I like Raito better. Usually, with pairings that I like, my preference for one character to be a seme or uke depends on my degree of liking him. Almost always, I like the seme better than the uke. I usually have to like both of them, but usually the seme interests me the most. Take Kuroudo x Ginji. I adore Kuroudo more than I do Ginji. Such is the same with a Kuroro/Danchou x Kurapika pairing. Love that pairing, but love Kuroro even more. Hmm, I suppose then I will have to choose Raito x L instead of L x Raito, but I will try both just to make sure it's not one of those exceptions.

Guess one last note on doujinshi...my favorite Hikago circle, Nepia, also does D-Grayman doujinshi, which I don't think I already knew. D-Grayman is a new manga I started reading... It's sorta interesting and I think I did start reading it because I saw an interesting doujinshi(s) from that manga. That happens sometimes. Sometimes I try to start anime/mangas because they have a lot of doujinshi. However, I can't force a pairing upon myself. Like Full Metal Alchemist (FMA). Although I like that show alot and love Roy Mustang and Edward Elric, I can't see them in a couple. One reason is because the age difference is too great. And typically I only like adult couplings. The exceptions, I suppose, are Hikago (where they're like still in high school) and the worse one-- Hunter x Hunter. I like Kirua x Gon. Don't know how I got hooked on that, but they do have a cute friendship. Anyway, I can't go back to my pre-yaoi days anime/manga and find new couplings. Anything pre-Hikago I can't do it. Especially Saiyuki. It disgusts me, while anything new I pick up, I eagerly look for a new pair. It's strange...

Oh, by the way, that "R" guy from Tactics reminds me of Roy Mustang a little. Especially that time when he was at Hughes' funeral and wearing that cap. God, that man drove me wild with his snapping of fingers and such. Of course, that's a result of loving gloves thanks to Akabane-sama. Anyway, guess I'll finish the rest of the day trying to figure out how the hell I'm going to do this shit at Wellness tomorrow. It's going to suck so badly... God Lord. Don't wanna do it! *sighs*
