Take a Deep... Woo!
Finally can spare a minute to write in this thing... I have to first talk about last Saturday. See, I agreed to go to this like student weekend thing where high school students could come to some tables and learn about certain majors from some students. Yep, so I was reping Japanese in the Foreign Language table along with Jennifer and Nick from class. As we waited forever to get started (which took like over a half hour of waiting before like six minutes of the actual talking to about three students who passed our table), we spoke on various topics. As I had suspected, Nick and Jennifer do not enjoy Sam from our class either! I could have died laughing when Nick mocked Sam by saying, "but of course, you know Ohio State has the best Japanese program in the state." Yes! I was so sick of hearing her say that and it felt so good to hear some other people express the same thing. Yes, we ragged on her a little and they seemed pleased that none of us would be in the same class as her again, and felt sorry for some of their friends returning from Japan next semester who would have to deal with her. Hehe. Yes, it's wrong, but, hey, I gotta get my kicks somewhere.

Um, I've been elected as the Historian for fall semester along with some other guy... Sucks. Oh, well. I hope it won't be something I regret. I kinda already regret it. See, all last weekend I was working on my Theatre project. I finally figured out I'd do it in about the middle of the Meiji Era in Japan. I mean, it turned out pretty well. It took forever to find the necessary pictures I needed for the Romeo costume. He was supposed to look like a more traditional style Japanese in the 1880s. I learned a little about that period and now I can recognize the kanji for Meiji. Yeah, that's helpful. Um, I think I stayed up to at least 4am doing that shit on last Monday. Then I tried to get in an hour of studying for Econ. No. That did not happen. Instead I simulatenously watched this OVA of Haru wo Daiteta, an animation adaptation of Nitta something's manga.

Yeah, not a great idea to watch that, but I deserved a treat for getting that shit done. Plus, it was really good. I had never read that manga before, but I had read one of her mangas before it and it was pretty good, so I tried this random OVA that had just been released. I liked it a lot. And get this--the voices of Kakashi (Naruto), Konrad (KKM), and Allen (Escaflowne) were all up in there! It was so weird! And the Konrad/Allen guys were a couple! Weird! I couldn't stop laughing. Anyway, I hope to watch some more. I never expected seiyuu I knew to be in something like that... then again I saw that Midorikawa-sama was the voice on this yaoi Drama from this manga I really liked, but still...

On Monday, I went to all of my final classes. Theatre we started to watch Death of a Salesman and finished the rest on exam day on Wednesday--yeah, I know that's weird. I decided because I still needed to do my accounting project by Thursday, I would do Death of a Salesman review instead of West Side Story for Theatre because if I did DOS, I could turn it in on Monay. I wanted to turn it in on today, but I'm still working on it as I write... In Econ, we wasted time doing stupid problems that would not help me on the test. I was pissed about that. Then in accounting, most of everyone turned in their projects. That made me a little nervous, but I got over it. The review sheet she gave us was helpful (take a lesson from her ya bastard, ECON!). In Japanese we did our speeches...

Okay, my speech was titled "Ijiwaru na ko deshita (I was a mean child)," which I didn't title until Furuhata at the last moment told us we were supposed to have titled our speeches. I wasn't nervous (cuz, duh, I had it memorized on last Friday), but when Yuri showed up unexpectedly (she said she would come, but I thought she was just lying again), I got nervous. But I did okay, I think. Most people laughed. I liked Rosa's a lot, and I hated Sam's. What was it about? Of course, anime and manga. Please! Can you be less obvious! That's like if I did that. I never want to do something obvious. It was really funny when Furuhata asked Yuri to comment and she was like, "no." So funny.

After that, I think I was fooling around before Management. Great news about that class was that I got an 98 on that hard-ass test (lost 10 points, but gained 8 from the extra-credit--score!) and we were in there for about half an hour cuz it only took him a few minutes to explain what would be on our final. One essay question.. I'm f-ing nervous as hell... I ate dinner with Yuri and then I attempted to start the great studying for Econ and Theatre (at some point). I got some stuff done, but not much before I like passed out to go to sleep. In the morning, I headed to Chapman at 9am to visit ol' crazy's office. Luckily (cuz I had no desire to see his crazy ass) he wasn't there, so I asked the secretary to lend me a copy of the past exams, so I could study them. They were really helpful, cuz the exam on Wednesday, yes, ma'am, there were some of the same questions. I stayed up there until like 11am. I continued studying Econ until like 5, which was great cuz I had wanted to start studying for theatre at 6. My theatre studying was so bad... On Wednesday's theatre exam I had so many problems that I had to kinda guess on. The worst thing about that exam was that she used the essay question I had invented! That sucked! See, for the last 20 points of our quiz grade, we were to construct a possible essay question. Yeah... Michi's luck...

Um, after the Theatre exam on Wednesday, I went to campus grounds to do some last minute studying for Econ and get a little lunch because I didn't really want to waste the time going to the cafeteria in between that 11:00-1:00 period before the Econ exam. Um, I mostly daydreamed during that time... I ended up really randomly making up my own lyrics to the tune of Nina Simone's "Night Song." It started off with me suddenly just thinking "Where do you go when you want to set your school on fire?" opposed to the actual lyrics that go "Where do you go when you feel that your brain is on fire?" And just by thinking that random thought, I was determined to figure out what I could say for the rest. Now I can't stop singing the lyrics my way. ^_^ Anyway, the Econ test wasn't so bad. I checked today at ECON's office door (unfortunately he was there) and I got a 97 out of a possible 104, I think. That's great cuz it assures the A I thought would be impossible. I also checked my mail today and I got a 104 on my Thursday class exam. Kick ass.

After Econ, I sorta immediately went to work on my accounting project. I seriously thought it wouldn't take so long, so I laid down and took a nap until like 5 or 6. Um... I didn't finish that bitch until like 3 or 4... Then I studied for like a few minutes before I gave up and went to sleep. I woke up on Thursday to print out my accounting project and try to do some studying. Oh. Well, I also went to breakfast, but by then it was absolutely cleared of food. So I had a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea. Really meager, but I had planned to go get Chinese food later on.

Well, after Yuri hole-punched my papers for me and I tossed it into a binder before going to my exam, I guess my mood plummeted. I mean, that exam was a little hard. It was totally according to what she said, but of course, I didn't study much... Who cares. When I turned it in, she stopped me and said my project was really good (little did she know I did it but a few hours ago) and asked if I was considering doing a major/minor in accounting. I told her a little about Hage from last semester saying the same thing and that my dad is an accountant, but declined (well, no, actually I said I'd think about it, but I won't). I thought I'd be all jazzed up to go get me my Chinese food, but I was depressed. I think this is because I couldn't sell back my accounting book. I thought this was because the school has some sort of thing that can detect you didn't buy it from their bookstore, but it turns out no one in my class could get rid of theirs. Also, they wouldn't take back my theatre book without the CD and this "pamphlet" that I thought didn't exist. I had the CD with it and they were like, "oh, well you can get 9 bucks if you have the CD, but 28 if you have the pamphlet." What the f is the pamphlet?? F-ing made of some precious material?? It was plastic-covered with like three pages in it! That has a value of 19 bucks? Okay, you f-ing bastards. But after my exam, and I happened to run in Double T for a while, I went back to my room and actually found the damn thing. So I ran back and got my damn 29 dollars. And I treasured it. Cuz this damn school is stingy as hell.

I got to talk to my sister briefly before I finally did go out to get Chinese food. I had also, before seeing Double T after my exam, went to Family Dollar to get some Capri Suns and randomly a bag of white cheddar popcorn. The food was great and I unexpectedly ate most of it when I got back to my room. Then I finally caught up on anime. Okay, like I started two more new animes since I last wrote. The first is Speed Grapher. Okay, I forgot why I started it... Well, I guess cuz the voice of Konrad was in it and the guy who did Omi from Weiss Kreuz and Taikoubou from Houshin Engi. I think that's why I started anyway. I thought, "hell, let's give it a shot." It's pretty good. The first episode really made think, "is this a hentai?" Well, it was more daring than any other anime I've seen. I mean, it's not for kids. Had a woman grabbing a man inappropriately, crazily a much of naked women at one point, and some other crap too. That was just episode one!

Episode two, which I watched yesterday was like backtracking to explain who this girl was we saw in the first episode. That was a great episode. This rich girl has this impossibily cruel, bitter, and vindictive mother who is starving her! A maid brought her a lunch and then her mother was like, "no, I made a lunch for you" and gives her what looks like a lunch. No, it isn't. It was an empty container! Then the girl passes out during class and a teacher is looking over her when she wakes up. Some reason that stupid teacher thinks that she can talk to her oh-so-powerful mother and reason with her. Uh... what happens when the teacher goes to meet her? Let me just say she ends up somehow in the bed with the mother... Yeah. I have no clue. Then she ends up running out of the house naked, holding a armful of cash. Craziness. Then the story goes on to tell you everything of this girl before we get to where the previous episode left off. Pretty great. Can't wait to see more of this f-ed up show.

Okay, then I started Basilisk yesterday. I swore this was the one I found with Midorikawa-sama.. Or maybe not. Anyway, Hoshi-sama is in it! And he's a pretty hot ninja who uses strings to fight! Like Kazuki! How great is that? They did this flashback of these two old, bitter, fighting people and showed that they used to be in love until some shit went down and the woman thought that man had deceived her in order to destroy her clan or something. See, at the beginning, the old people's disciples were fighting in front of Ieyasu (the top Shogun back in the Tokugawa period of Japan) for a reason I didn't pay much attention to. Then Ieyasu stopped the fight and gave the old people scrolls with people's name on it... What the hell for, I wasn't sure until the old man suddenly (after seeing that flashback of them young in love) like stabbed the lady through her skull through her mouth with this needle thingy. Then he bites his finger to draw blood and then crosses out her name. When I saw that I was like, "Kill Bill?" And then I guessed that the two were to eliminate the people listed on there and who ever did the most from the opposing side would win. Well, the old woman wasn't quite dead yet and killed the old man before she finally did die. It was weird! But pretty awesome. Trying to get the next episode with little success...

Sukisyo last episode came out and trying to get that... Oh, well, I guess today what I did was wake up and try to do this review. Man, Yuri did not sleep. I kept waking up periodically because I was hot and she was still working away... And she's still working! It's insane. She has to write this paper with all these graphs and fitness results information... Taking her forever since she already has a difficult time writing a regular paper in the first place. I went to lunch with her, and did a little work on the review some more before I went to go check my Econ grade. Then I tried to work on it again... I got a call from my dad and he put in the money to pay my tuition! Oh, my god... I can start out the next semester not dying or screaming. I'm seriously going to cry when I pay it (I have to wait until it clears, I think...) Then after Yuri and I went to dinner, I helped her scan some more charts for her paper.

So anyway, back to anime stuff. Been downloading like crazy. Trying to get as much as I can before I have to leave. Cuz I'm pretty sure I won't be able to download anything while I'm at Jahson's, but I'm gonna try too, though. With my flash drive it may be possible... If not I'll go crazy. Cuz just about every day, something gets released. I mean, the cotton's high for picking! It's great! Still don't know what I'm doing for summer, but who cares. Oh, I watched the second episode of Loveless. I swear the guy with long hair, glasses, and smokes (god, two characteristics of Sanzou--woo!) is f-ing hot. Soubi is his name and I'm not sure if I've heard his seiyuu or not before. Anyway, he kicked the crap out of those two retarded kids trying to kidnnap the kid... I forgot his name. Anyway, they had another battle and it turns out if your fighter gets hit, the other person (the sacrifice) gets bonded in chains or something like that. It's weird. But funnily, all Soubi had to do was kiss the kid and boom, they were gone. Very weird... But definitely yaoi. No question about it.

Well, I did see the second episode of Tsubasa Chronicle, but I don't remember what it was... I've wanted to get some manga, but I haven't been able connect to mIRC with this crappy internet connection... I'd really like to get all of Fantastic Children that's out since I'll need something to watch in between the time I'm at Jahson's... Truth be told I seriously just wanna relax for a month. Then go through hell for six weeks with clases 4 hours 5 days a week in ol' Jigoku Dani. This summer is seriously going suck. I just hope the thing waiting for me at the finish line is a semester in Japan. If not, I'll cry... Seriously.
