Tanjoubi? Mou atta? Itsu??
Been at home a little over a week. It's okay. I've hung out with my sis and bro until Mr. Rummy left the day before my birthday. However, it seems I did not ever talk about my trip to the 'Ville in the first place. Well, I got to Jahson's okay. It was bad because I didn't really buy anything to eat for my short stay at his house because he informed me I had left some ramen. Yeah, but like sitting there one day at his house and I was hungry as heck. I really regretted it.
I hadn't really packed my clothes yet either. I really, really did my best to stuff the minimum amount of crap I could to survive to go back home. It's hard for me. I like to bring a bunch of stuff even if I'll never touch it. It comforts me. Anyway, I was playing around on my bro's comp looking for something to give my sis for X-mas when he calls me and gives me this BS to deal with--he wouldn't be able to drive me to the airport the next day because it might snow really horribly. It disturbed me horribly. I was so worried. But then after that I packed all my shit together down to everything but what I'd use to take a shower in the morning. I was so, so worried by it. Cuz Jahson is like that. He barely likes to drive if it's raining, so you can see if it's snowing. I decided to go to sleep before he got home so I wouldn't have to talk to him. Anyways I was tired anyhow.
That night I had like a dream about the whole situation. I think in my dream Jahson managed to take me, but when I woke up--God! Snowing so much! Blankets of that white shit everywhere! So I rolled back into bed and cried. I couldn't change my flight, so I felt like I was screwed and going to have to be stuck with him like I had been during the summer. NO. Okay. NO. However, some reason my brother stopped being guitar and drove me despite all the snow. I was worried because it was not anything near ideal driving condition. I guess people in Ohio don't care. It got a little better (the road clearings) when we neared the airport, but it was still snowing like hell.
No, my flight wasn't cancelled, but it was delayed so much that I missed my connecting flight when I got to Charlotte. I was so pissed. I was going to be home by like seven and thanks to Delta's sorry ass I didn't get home until 11:30. Geez. Once home I tried to finish off some last minute presents. There was my friends, Lauren, and my dad, basically. Ann no aku came and we exchanged presents before X-mas. On X-mas eve I exchanged with a friend of mine I hadn't seen in forever, Lisa. It was great spending time with her. She got me some perfume in this really neat container. Oh. Ann no aku gave me a cool rice bowl (err...well, I suppose just this Japanese eating bowl) and some chopsticks. Her boyfriend Mark was there and kept tempting me to open my birthday present. But I resisted because I was sure I wasn't getting shit on my day. Yeah...
Lauren and I went to Best Buy and bought my dad some software to update his computer we had bought him for father's day and I went on Ebay and bought Lauren the game Scene-It. I didn't want to buy it, not really because it cost over 40 dollars, but just because I knew she'd want me to play it. I f-ing hate playing board games. Except monopoly or certain word games. They're just guitar. Hate em. And yes, we played it. Stupid Ryan, aka, "Rummy" won both times. Lauren didn't enjoy that, but I knew I wasn't going to win (cuz I know little about movies), so it was really a fight between the two of them.
For X-Mas I got slippers and scarves from my dad, gloves and a scarf from my step mom, some weird bath junk from my older stepsister, and some good stuff from my sis. I got this shirt that says "More Cowbell" quoting Christopher Walken from SNL and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Season three. Kick ass. I wore the shirt the same day and went to visit my little cousins who were in town and the youngest of them got lip gloss (kind with glitter that's colored) on my new shirt. It won't come off. Everytime I wear that shirt (I wore it yesterday) it gets ruined in a new way. It's amazing. So I only got really good stuff from my sis. Oh, I also got Lauren this thing called a Bar Master Deluxe. Tells you how to make a buttload of different drinks. Cuz she wants to be a bartender. *shrug*
Then came my birthday... Kinda sucked. My dad didn't remember till like the day was nearly done. My sis bought me pizza, and I dressed up like Kuroudo, wearing the new coat with the stuff for the first time. It looked splendid with it. However, Lauren and I couldn't go out because stank Rummy had left with the car, so we were stranded. Ann no aku couldn't take me out because her car was in the shop. However, she did drop by and bring presents along with her two sisters and Mark. That was nice. They all complimented me on my Kuroudo gear. Yeah, I know it rocks. ^_^ Anyway, I got sake! Yeah! A box of cherry coke, a little thing on how to make sushi, and some sake cups/sake container. Pretty awesome, though everything was expected expect the sushi thing which ann no aku's older sister had given me. Still...my 21st was lame. I swear... Every special moment in my life that's supposed to be important is always not. Just like graduating and all that other crap... Oh, well, though...
Today, besides when Lauren and I were driven to get our hair done at some new salon our stepmother had recommended, was the first time Lauren and I could go out. Dad got a rental car. Yet, we didn't really go anywhere but the bank and Sonics to get a drink. Then Lauren left. She left last night too and I had liked it. This was because I could just kick back and do some Michi stuff. Which really isn't anything, though... However, I was pissed when she came in and asked if she and a friend of hers could watch a movie. I had to let her though--the friend was already f-ing there. It was Napoleon Dynamite (err...can't spell it). Good movie. Random as hell, but still good.
Been trying to do some writing today. I've had my character Seiichirou, a guy who turns from good to evil, on the brain recently, so I'm trying to resume my little exercise to help me characterize all the characters involved. Yet, I'm still not sure about what I thought I had decided Seiichirou and his partners in evil are going to do. It really sucks. Gotta figure that out.. Oh! I finished Melody of Oblivion a couple days ago. I liked it. It wasn't Get Backers or Hunter x Hunter good, but it was pretty good. I think the Monster King is hot. There should have been more of him. And yaoi pairing with him and Bocca would not be bad. I guess my only complaint, then, with that anime, besides the fact there was too much sexual suggestions in there that pissed me off, is there wasn't enough Monster King or aka Solo. I don't understand, though, why Bocca didn't become the next Monster King if Solo only became the third king because he had killed the second. Or is the Monster King not dead? If not...what?? I dunno. The show is confusing a little...and a lot... But not enough for me to scream like Evangelion or something. But it's good that ended because I had too many animes under my belt.
I thought Kyou Kara Maou was over with but it's still going on... Why I don't know why. See, that's what I don't like. Melody of Oblivion is over at 24 episodes and Kyou Kara Maou is still going on. My interest has waned but I'm still watching because it's not a bad anime (and I have a habit of starting an anime and not finishing it). It's like on 28 and I haven't watched since 23? I forget. I have them all downloaded though... Oh, my God! Gankutsuou is getting good! It's really intriguing! You're like, what the f's gonna happen next?? People getting poisoned...secrets being dug up...relationships being ruined. It's quite fantastic. I love it. I didn't think I would so much. I like it like I liked Full Metal Alchemist. I have not watched the Cartoon Network version and I refuse to. It's gotta be shit. Geez. See? What if I had seen that version first?? I would have never watched it! Dubbing has the opposite effect on me.
Um, anyways, I also watched a lovely couple episodes of Meine Liebe. I loved that last one. Lui and Orphe working together. Enough to make me giggle through the whole episode. I mean, Lui was so f-ing calm! They were locked in a burning house and he stood there as if nothing was going on. I love him to death. Oh, man... If he was evil, he couldn't get much better. Reminds me of someone who should be related to Sanzou (and not just because they have the same seiyuu ^_^). I probably wouldn't mind a Lui x Orphe pairing... Maybe. I'd have to see if there's a circle who can do that tastefully and wouldn't stretch the likelihood that would happen. Cuz I don't like it when I read a doujinshi and am like, "Uh...no he wouldn't do/say that!" Such crap.
Also..I watched some Harukanaru Toki, etc. etc. like...yesterday? Anyway, it sucked. It was all about Yorihisa. Oh! But the episode before it all about the sexy guy with glasses... What was his name? Michi? Takamichi? Think it was something like that. He was great. I like him. But not as much as Yasuaki. God! I miss him! It's like Yukimura from Samurai Deeper Kyo. All I did in that anime was go, "Where's Yukimura??" and then die when he showed up. Yasuaki's definitely becoming that reason for watching. Sorta anyway. I kinda like some of the other bishies floating about, but I really hate that villain guy. If he wasn't so guitar and had a better seiyuu that anime would really rock. Yasuaki should show up in the next episode. Better, damnit! Tired of hearing about boring blue-haired guy (Yorihisa) or stupid Tenma. And especially little blonde boy fruity. Hate characters like him. Fruity young guy running around not being cool nor being good eye candy. Just kill him already.
Hmm, already New Years. My resolution? Get drunk a couple times. Just kidding. Probably think of something at some point. 2004 has just been weird. Which is funny because when I took a moment to think of a word to describe it, that's what a comedian called it. Hope next year will be rocking. Heh. Yeah, right. I'd like to get involved with someone maybe... Someone not Japanese. I thought I should say that just in case some forces in the world are thinking of pushing toward that way. No. No Japanese guys, ever. Won't consider it, won't try it. No. Chinese, Korean, Indian...yeah, we can talk. Okay? Oh, man I saw Hero with Jet Li in it too when I came home. He's so hot. Love him to death. Great movie. Love me some sword fighting as much as I like Chinese people. It'd be cool to go to China one day... Wonder if I'll ever have the opportunity....
