This morning Brenna had her first official "poop in the potty". I am so excited. Yesterday she went pee in the potty all by herself two more times after the first time so we're hoping this new trend will continue. If things progress as they are then potty training will be so much easier than I imagined. I've been scared of it for months!

SHE DID IT!!!! SHE DID IT!!!!!
Brenna used the potty for the first time! All on her own!!!!!

Lately she refuses to wear diapers or clothes, kind of annoying but we try to work around it. Anyway, she has peed a few times on the floor and then I show her the potty and make her sit on it. And lately we've put the potty in front of the tv and she will sit on it while watching. I figured sooner or later she might "get it". Well, just a bit ago, she went over, lifted the lid, sat down and peed!!! She got up and started pointing to it showing me, and I was so happy and ecstatic you just can't imagine! She was happy and excited too, and we celebrated with chocolate brownies.
She has never once peed in the potty before, and I am so stoked because she did it all her own without any prompting from me! There is hope! Because man, I am so sick of diapers.

Too bad my regular camera is broken, and my digital currently has dead batteries. I am sitting on the sofa and Bren was in the front playroom. She comes walking back in and comes up to me BUCK NAKED wearing her easter bunny ears on her head. Man, kids can give you the biggest chuckles sometimes.

I measured Brenna today while she was barefoot on the hardwood floor. She is exactly 37 1/4 inches tall. :-)
