The HAVE SUM FUN math competition is TONIGHT!!!! Hope we can do as well as we can. All the other schools will be there too. Can wait for it. Irene will be coming to pick me up at around 6:30 - 6:45pm. Will be carrying lots of bags cos I'll be going to uncle colin's place for the weekend.

I am reading 'The Kitchen God's Wife' by Amy Tan!!!! Was really happy when I found that book in the library. Borrowed it on Tues when I had reading period. It's something like Joy Luck Club cos it's about a woman who came from China and then had a daughter. But in this case it's only 1 family involved. Really interesting to read. Shall try to find more Amy Tan books in the library when I have the time. Oops, go to go now. Must go and get ready.

So freaking unfair... I was doing my homework PEACFULLY and then SOMEONE suddenly BLASTS their music so loudly that I nearly got a heart attack. I quickly put my earplugs on but can still hear the music at a normal sound level (imagine how loud THAT is!) So not fair. Because I have stuffy nose, I keep sniffing and this year 12 is like ' can you please blow your nose? I can hear you sniffing from next door'. I felt like saying, 'I try to blow, but everytime I do that, nothing comes out!' But is I say that, I'll probably be KILLED. (blackmail maybe?) So I ended up SUFFERING last night because I find it very pai seh to sniff so hard ALL the time and I was trying to breathe in with my mouth. But 10 seconds later, my mouth became all dry and I needed to drink water. So that was practically how tough my night was and I an SO TIRED right now. Shall go and sleep at about 10pm tonight or something. Just managed to get VICKS so I hope it'll be better for me tonight.

Was so funny during dinner. We were competing with each other to see who could eat the most deserts. The desert was in a plastic cup and it was oranger jelly at the bottom and vanilla ice-cream at the top. Was so funny because Holly and Alissa got up to the 4th cup and we kept on laughing about the weird jokes they were making (some were sick jokes by the way). I only got up to the 3rd cup. Was really full by then because I had 2 sausages and a hotdog bun already. Was glad I didn't puke though.

Their English here is like Lit. We are give passages to read and analyse. Sounds a lot like unseen stuff. But apparently they don't have unseen here. When I ask about unseen, they're like 'huh? What's that?' So weird. And I found out that I just flunked my Intro Calc EPW (extended piece of work). I mean, how are you able to EXPLAIN the pellian equation? I haven't even learnt them! abd how am I supposed to know that I CAN get help? Isn't it supposed to be individual work? Oh well, have to fail once then pick up again next time.

Was so difficult to sleep last night. Some year 12 next door was chatting with her friend about something about waxed hair and how it looks like. I mean HELLO! It's 10:15pm. Some people may want to sleep! Can't they even SHUT UP!!!! If I could wake up without an alarm, I would sleep with my ear plugs cos I have them now. So inconsiderate.

Just found out today that I have been chosen to go for a 'have sum fun competition' at Murdoch College. I don't even know where there is and I am SUPPOSED to get there by myself. It's something like Maths Olympiad. What they do there is WEIRD. They bring JUNK food there and EAT while doing Maths. Maybe cos it's from 7:15pm to 10pm. So late at night. Might probably be half asleep by the time they finish all the questions. The best part about it is that it is in groups of 6 - 3 year 11s & 3 year 12s. most of the questions are about stuff they haven't learnt in school yet so it'll be good cos I know stuff that they haven't learnt as well. Apparently there was once that the people that participated last time got FREE movie tickets from the school. EVEN if you DON'T win anything. SO COOL!!!! Hope can get good freebies this year.

Spent the whole night with a tissue paper up my nose cos still got running nose. Hope my parents are okay. Dad is returning home from Melbourne on Friday. Hope you all fine back in Sg. Can't wait to come back. The CAs are finally starting to pile up. But they don't go more than 3-a-week. Most is 2-a-day. Am only at indices for Intro Cal. Can't wait to start on LOG. They are so slow with their stuff here! Wonder when I'll actually learn something new. Seems like it'll take a VERY long time for that to happen. Will wait patiently and hope for the best. In the meantime, shall try to brush up on my skills so I'll be perfect! I LOSE TO NO ONE!!!!

I have finally finished watching INUYASHA!!!! Actually I expected it to have the ending like them defeating Naraku. But unfortunately it didn't seem to end that way. Maybe there's some sequel to it somewhere. Maybe in the Inuyasha movie. Anyway, now I haven't got any animes to watch and I will feel very lonely desu ne~ So, if you guys want to loan me some to watch, can pass to my parents who will be coming during my school hols in April. Anyway school has been fine so far... Passing I hope. Apparently for economics, I can get the gist of it but when it comes to the tests, just can't do well. Very sadening. currently the ONLY subject I'm prospering is in Chem. They are already on Moles and it's like 1 sub-topic in 1 day. Luckily I learnt it before or else I won't be able to get it.

Received Aya's letter yesterday. I can't believe that school is getting harder than ever in Sg. Anyway, school here is NOT exactly slack. We are learning everything at JC standard but most of the stuff now is just revision for me. It will get harder later in the year before being at its hardest NEXT YEAR!!!! But I look forward to it

Well, I WILL be back for guitar night in June so you must ALL go cos I want to see all you guys then. Will be missing all of you LOTS by then.

Got an English presentation to do in school. Well, there's not really English tmr but it's the day after. We're supposed to research on a social group and find print and non-print ads on it and analyse how they affect our attitudes towards that particular group of people. Seems interesting enough and it seems to be a bit like Lit (analysing). Hope I can st least pass it. BTW Gladys, I checked the booklet on courses for uni here. For pharmacology, you need just a Maths for prerequisites. Desirable would be chemistry and Calculus/Applicable Maths (not sure). I might end up taking Medicine in the end but I'm not sure. Surprisingly it doesn't require bio. Just physics and chem. Glad I changed to physics.

Yo~ Only managed to get the stupid school comp online... It didn't work the whole of Saturday evening and Sunday. Stupid internet connections... too poor. School homework is like not really a lot compared to what we get in Singapore. Surprisingly, some of them still can't find time to complete their work. So wierd... maybe different for them cos they don't prioritise their homework like how we do it. Am getting bored. Stupid school comps have blocked msn, so I can't go unless I go out. Yay! I've done it again. Got to see Chem test results. Found out that I was the highest in my class. Got 48.5/50. Not bad eh? Wasn't too sure about the separation of isotopes though... Hope I got that one right. Also had full marks for my MCQ section. Feel so happy~ That's what I'm supposed to be scoring. Got 11.5/12 for my intro cal spot test too~ Yay... things are finally brightening up after all~ Hope you all are all right in Singapore

Just sucked and failed (my standard of 20/25) for intro cal... got freaking 15.5... feel like a loser man... just because I didn't get the pattern at all... theis sucks. At least I did better in G & T cos I got 35/40 (LOG saved me and no one in class seems to know about LOG yet) So I have the advantage and AM truly proud of it. Hope to make use of it as much as possible... haha. Gonna make everyone scared that LOG is gonna be important. Yo~ Watched A Doll's House today! Was really good and convincing. Just realised that one of the characters, Nora, has split personalities cos there are like 3 of her on stage and each one represents a different her (young, wife, the one that leaves the home). Yo~ Am back from my parents' friend's place. Aiyah... ahsll just refer to them as Uncle Colin and Aunty Marisa. Got back from their place last night and spent the rest of the night watching inuyasha.
