Yo~ To all: Thanks for tagging ne~ To phoebe: Virtually sneds you valentines' day stuff too~ Have a virtual cookie~

To gladys: Maybe I might be able to help you with that next weekend or something. The school comp blocked off diaryland and cbj.net so I can't go see cyn's blog... For self defence? We did like hitting a gloved hand and make lots of noise to 'scare' your opponent and later learn to 'drop down' and then spread your hands out. Like in a lift when it suddenly crashes down but you manage to catch yourself. Didn't do much cos it was only half an hour. And I hope my mum thinks the same way as you... she says,"YOU ALWAYS THINK YOU ARE SO SMART". Why can't she leave me alone?

To Mon: Thanks for collecting it for me. Will try to check my mail maybe next weekend or so.

To QiYi: Really? Are the scholars like that too? That's so cool desu ne~

Didn't have homework today... but got chem test tomorrow which I suppose will be a walk in the park (easy). I guess the hard stuff will only be taught middle of this year or next year. Hope you guys are fine~ Remember to continue tagging~

HAPPY VALENTINES' DAY TO ALL!!!! Especially to all those that I miss (aya, sak, mon, cyn, phoebe, qiyi, gladys) Hope you guys had a good valentines' day. It was SO funny cos the boarders were going around giving valentines' day gifts to everyone. Got lots of chocolates desu ne~ But haven't given any to the others cos I don't have any. Hope all is well in Sg. I still can't believe that their math is SO SLOW!!!! The haven't even learnt the ASTC thing and what a cyclic quad is yet! I feel like a freaking arse who knows everything and I tend to make people panic cos they think that they are supposed to learn it.

Just finished school and have done a bit of homework. Darn school comps... they blocked hotmail and msn. Can't log on desu ne~ Wish I was back home. Got unlimited internet access, can stay up late to read fanfics. Just hope that they don't block blogs. Otherwise I won't be able to update anymore. Which defeats the purpose of why I am doing this.

Had Motivation Day on Fri. Which means NO LESSONS (Day 0 cos we go by 8-day cycle). We did like Yoga, self-denfence, had 2 talks and later went back to STONE... It was fun cos we did the activities in houses (like house day). So some cheated and eore the school top to be with their friends from other houses. Was really risky so I didn't try it. The school & house top is SO COOL cos it's a polo shirt so when you sweat, you don't feel that sticky like how you would feel with a cotton T-shirt.

So bored... I miss guitar. Can't wait for guitar night. Can't wait for REC tmr too. Gonna play squash again. Can't wait desu ne~ Aw well... gtg now. Got to finish more homework.

Yay~ The school comp allowed me to update ne~ We just had swimming carnival today. Was SO fun. So much better than sports day in Singapore. Penrhos has its OWN school bathers (swimming costume) Competed in the novelty - noodle relay. Couldn't swim so I was jumping up and down in the pool. Luckily we got 3rd. Thought we were gonna get last. But too bad... Rome got last for Yr 11s. Will update the photos later. Need to find a bluetooth device or probably spend lots of money to send the photos to my email.

Kinda boring in school. Miss all you guys ne~ Must update your blogs too so that I know what's going on. Have written a letter to you guys for Valentines' Day. Haven't posted it yet. Will probably post it during this weekend. Guess you can figure out when it will reach Singapore. Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Woke up late this morning cos I went to Burswood with my parent's friends to go and see fireworks (supposedly for the Chinese in that area cos it's CNY and also due to the large population of Malaysian chinese there. It really was a beautiful sight and it felt as if the fireworks were coming closer and as if I was gonna get burns from the fireworks, they suddenly disappear into thin air.

Hey guys! It's the weekend!!!! Something's wrong with the school comp so I can't really update that often. Maybe probably only on weekends cos I go to my parents' friend's place or my godmother's place so I can leech off their internet and wireless.

Got quite a bit of homework for the weekend, but nothing compared to what I get in Singapore. However, the subjects are much harder so a bit of homework can sometimes 'kill' you. The worst is human bio cos there's always TOO MUCH homework to be done. I guess it's a price to pay for coming here.

Staying in the boarding house is really fun. Main thing is that you don't have to pack recess and lunch cos it's already provided and you don't have to spend any money at all! So I am currently VERY rich and I don't intend on spending any money yet (unless it's absolutely necessary). Gee... I'm such a miser. Oh well, cos when you spend your own money, you can really feel the pinch and it really hurts pretty bad...

The best things about the boarding house

1. You can get up at 7:30 and go for breakfast at 7:45 before leaving for school at 8:15 when it starts at 8:30 in the morning.

2. You don't need to carry a school bag to school cos it's only a 5 min walk to school.

3. If you leave anything in your locker in school, don't panic. You can always go back to school to get it cos it's so near.

4. You will definitely have someone to sit next to in class cos boarders tend to sit together.

5. You can ask the other boarders in your class what's for homework or how to do a particular question.

6. No need to prepare recess and lunch cos it's provided in the dining hall.

7. You have people to wake you up in the morning so you won't be late for school.

Well... I guess boarding is quite good... but I still miss all you guys in Singapore. Can't wait to come back!!!! Everything we learn here is like A' level standard so it's kinda difficult for me now. To Phoebe: I MISS BEING A PROTEIN CONSUMER WITH YOU TOO!!!! Cos everyone there eats lots of vegetables, I feel awkward when I end up just taking the ham and chicken (dislike raw veges cos they make my stomach go bad). Maybe when I come back we can go and have a protein consuming feast yeah? BTW, I think I'm putting on weight cos I did't really exercise much and I'm eating more than usual. Hope it'll burn up in winter.

I'M DOING SQUASH FOR REC!!!! aka PE. So cool!!!! But it'll be held outside of school so it'll 'eat' into a bit of lunch. We could choose from tennis, badminton, squash, freshman rowing, water aerobics, water polo and I think a few more sports. It's SO much better than PE in Singapore when everyone does the same thing... so boring. The education system here rocks like crazy!!!! But still can't wait to come back. Will be continuing to miss you guys :(

HEY EVERYONE!!!! Haven't updated in like a week... I AM IN PERTH!!!!

School is not bad... just that your learning everything at A' level standard now... so chem is slighly more difficult than I thought. My dad didn't allow me to change human bio to physics. I'm glad he diodn't let me cos now, I'm starting to like human bio again... Maybe I can cheat and ask Ms Ng for help.

AYA! MON! SAK! FEFE! CYN! QIYI! I MISS YOU!!! I'm sorry I can't email you guys because the school blocked hotmail and msn... shall tey to emial during the weekend when I go to my relatives' and family's friend's place. I CAN SUCCESSFULLY SWITCH FROM ONE ACCENT TO ANOTHER!!!! I feel so accomplished and don't worry you guys, I WON'T come back speaking an accent, but if you want me to speak it for fun, no problem...

I wish I could see you guys again... Piyu piyu is so far the ONLY thing that can remind me of you guys (not including the survival kit)... can't wait to come back in June for guitar night. Mon, please help me book 4 tickets for guitar night? Thanks. Just remind Ms Ng cos I told her about it before I left. Hope you guys are ok. I know school sucks but I guess it does here too... English is A LOT different. We do like a lot more dicussions... and later in the term, we have to do a presentation (alone). I'm going (all year 11s) to watch at Curtin University - A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen. Hope it's good cos if not I'll be like sleeping throughout the play and DIE if we have to answer questions after that...

Will keep you guys posted ok? If you need me, just tag :) -Melsie

Has been almost a month since I last updated. Actually, there's nothing much to type cos I have been slacking at home practically everyday. Guess I'm gonna have to finish up my holiday hw (or start on it) by the end of the month or else I'll be SO dead.

BTW, question for Kath, Aya, Cyn, Mon, and FeFe:
WHAT DO YOU GUYS WANT FOR X'MAS????
Sorry, but I'm gonna have to save up more $$$ first before I can get you guys anything. Be patient!

Just came back from confirmation camp yesterday. Was SUPER tired so I took a bath and K.O.ed onto the bed. Slept from like 2pm to 10pm straight. Oh well... missed con camp a lot! Loved the praise and worship sessions (thank you eternal dawn!) But some of the talks were SO boring that I really sort of fell asleep halfway.

Day 1:
Food was quite good for 'camp' food. Sessions were rather enriching cos it gets us in touch with the Holy Spirit. Talent night was fun (we got 1st place!) Had lots of good laughs. Talent night helps us learn how to apply passages from the bible in our present day context and allows us to mingle and get to know other team mates better. (during the planning of the script and assigning of roles)

At least they didn't bang on the toilet doors during bath time (no hurrying while bathing) and we had quite a nice room to sleep in (but air-con was freezing on the 1st day). Praise and worship was enriching (thanks to eternal dawn) but some talks were VERY boring. We also had to go for the 6pm evening mass. Was really surprised that the homily was like 5 min long (didn't really catch what the priest was saying anyway)

Day 2:
LOVED IT!!!! Praise and Worship was REALLY fun! Nice songs. Was jumping up and down with everyone else. Felt really tired by the end of the day and only managed to bath at 1am or so. Some interesting talks (like the reconciliation one) but still some boring sessions... *but cold air keeps the eyes open and me awake*

Reconciliation/confession gave me a chance to really reflect on what had happened in my life that needs God's forgiveness and it brought my relationship with God a lot closer (could feel something within me) After confession, received a letter from my parents (was SO not surprised by it) and felt really touched that my parents really care so much and are so open to any ideas that I give to them (they admit that they are still learning). Ended up writing a reply to them that they would receive on day 3 when they come for mass and pick me up at the same time.

Felt SUPER tired at the end of the day. Night time was really funny. Rebecca, Mel Hong, Victoria, Sharmaine, Sara and Bianca were trying to sneak out at 2am to try and meet with Lee and Bert but kept running back and forth from our dorm to the staircase. Was laughing/giggling with the rest of them like crazy. Finally, the guys came with them to our dorm (against the rules by the way) and we had to hide them whenever the coordinators would come and check. They finally gave up and tried sneaking back to their room (even harder) cos the lights on the corridor were motion sensored. But in the end, they managed to do it. Just hope that no one would find out. Laughed like crazy after they left. Then slept right through to 7am the next day (couldn't wake up at 5am for the class gathering though)

Day 3:
Had mass in the morning. Then only time I managed to catch a wink was during the kneeling down and praying time (my mind went blank and I felt really tired). After that, we had a talk for the campers and parents (slept through that one). Later was lunch. Met up with Grace's parents and said hi (her mom said I slimmed down which in my opinion wasn't really true). Later, had to clean up the dorms and put the chairs and tables back in the original place. After that, headed down to the grotto to put our bags then had class gathering where there was food and exchanging of contacts. Hope we can have a class gathering one day. Can't wait for confirmation. After that, HOME SWEET HOME!!!!

Just came back from a Praise and Worship session with my mum and sister in Blessed Sacrament (we church 'hop' a lot) Am super freaked out cos most of the people there kinda got 'slain' Eg. Pass out and collapse on others. Usually caused by the human giving themselves entirely to God. Was really afraid of it so I purposely made sure that I was conscious 100% of the time. My mum said that I was probably not really yet (kinda obvious right?) Feel really afraid of Praise and Worship liao...

Just got back all results today. Stupid mid-year... pulled down most of my marks:( So the overall marks are as shown:

English C5 (not sure yet cos of oral)
Chinese D7 (finally moderated the marks)
E Math A1 (I got 95!)
A Math B3 (sucks like hell)
Chemistry A1
Biology B4
SS/Geog D7 (cos of FREAKING mid-years or else I could have gotten 52.0)
Literature D7 (as usual)

That makes my total L1R5 to be like 21! Still can't qualify to get into a JC though... shall work harder on the other subjects then.
