Mood: La dee da dee da...
Music: Siam Shade - Setsunasa Yorimo
So, I went to school today... I took a shower this morning cuz I decided that I wasn't going to school until I had one. So I did. And I got out of the shower at 9:02. Class starts at 9:20, and it's about a 15 minute drive to school. We got there at 9:12. ^_^
I win, you lose. HA!
Did stuff and more stuff at school. School was schoolish and I still hate Mrs. Schroyer. Our essay's due on Monday, so that sucks. I don't think mine's in any shape to be turned in quite yet. Meh well.
Theatre Ren Fest day is Saturday! YAY! I'm gonna hafta get my bodice from Issa after school tomorrow. I don't even know if I'll fit in it. Issa's skinny, I'm not. There. Oh well, we'll figure it out. If I DO fit in her bodice, I think it'll match my horns. I haven't seen it, but she says it's a dark blue. Huzzah. It'll also match the flower necklace that I bought there last year. You know, the one with the blue beads and stuff. Huzzah Huzzah. I still need to get my discount tickets from Pilgrim Cleaners... -_-;
p.s. Bwahahaha.

Mood: Lonely
Music: Goo Goo Dolls - Acoustic #3
Don't let it get to you... I'm used to it. I shouldn't let it get to me. Rejection is a common thing for me. I have friends, and then I don't. It's always been like that. Too many people, but not enough at the same time. I'll think of someone as one of my best friends and I automatically assume that it's a mutual feeling. I shouldn't assume. You should never assume anything. It only leads to disappointment.
I have the same pattern as Adah. Left...behind. Left...behind. Everyone keeps moving, I try to stop. I'm too slow, I can't keep up. Does anyone even notice? Yes, everyone notices. Does anyone care?
No.
It's the same old pattern.
Don't let it get to you.
Left...behind.

Mood: GRRrrrr...
Music: Goo Goo Dolls - Big Machine
Okay... Incase some of you didn't notice, some of my older entries are GONE. Pitas ate them. The guy/girl who works the server says that he's/she's very sorry and that he's/she's trying to salvage them. At least they're trying, so I guess I shouldn't be mad.
ANYWAY... I'm feeling kinda random, so I'm just gonna type in random blurbs about my day/week.
I'm on a theatre hiatus and it feels good. Well, not really. I'm working to bring my grades back up before the musical starts, cuz my musical grades can get kinda scary.
-_-;
I felt OLD for the first time a couple weeks ago. There are these two little boys in my kung fu class (Eric and Aery), who are REALLY ANNOYING and NEVER LISTEN to ANYONE. Anyway, so Eric, the older one, comes up to me and starts talking to me about this, that, and what other. Most of my responses consisted of a monosyllabic "Sure" or "Yeah" or something like that. All my answers were TRUE, mind you, just not very detailed. Not very detailed at all.
Finally, he asks me, "When did you start coming to Chinese school?"
Me: "Ummmm, let's see. Eight years, so since 1995."
Brat: "Really? Wow. That's when Aery was born."
@_@
I couldn't help but to look at the smaller brat and think "OH MY EFFING GAWD, I'M OLD!!"
That makes me sad... ;_;
Yeah.
End.

You are longing for some love and affection at this time - not that you have been deprived of tender loving care - but there are times when everyone needs to try something new or to go 'somewhere' else to perhaps experience that little extra 'understanding'.
You are a leader in every sense of the word. You know where you are going and you know what you need to do in order to get there. You exercise an inherent initiative in overcoming obstacles and difficulties. You either hold, or wish to achieve, a position of authority by means of which full control can be exerted over events.
You are a perfectionist in everything that you put your hand to. You are demanding and very exacting in the standards you apply to your choice of colleagues and friends -perhaps you demand too much from people. That perfection you seek in a particular person is illusive - perhaps it does not even exist.
You are being unduly influenced by the situation that is all around you. You do not like the feeling of loneliness and whatever it is that seems to separate you from others. You know that life can be wonderful and you are anxious to experience life in all its aspects, to live it to the full. You therefore resent any restriction or limitations that are being imposed on you and you insist on going it alone.
You don't like conflict and you endeavor to avoid criticism. You want to do your own thing and to be able to decide what is right for you. You have considerable personable charm - and this is used with considerable effect on those that keep your company.
~~~~~
Your Mood: At the moment you want to reach out and make contacts with others. You are feeling friendly inside and others around you will unconsciously pick up on this. You want to connect with people and be sociable. Focus and determined describes your present mood. You are out to achieve your goal and you concentrate on that. Unwavering you want to stick to the target of your ambitions, not completely to the exclusion of everything else, but almost!
Your Present Situation: Your present situation is making it difficult to relax. You feel a need to be constantly observant, watching everything that is going on around you. This makes it difficult for you to let your hair down and be spontaneous. You are not comfortable with the barrier that you have created around yourself and would love to breakout in a completely new way.Your current situation is causing you a great deal of angst. Somehow you have become over-involved in something that is leading to feelings of stress and doubt. You are at risk of feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
Your Conflicts: You have no conflicts at the present time
Completely accurate? No. Pretty close? Yes.
Mood: Not sure. Tired? Maybe.
Music: beep
Lots to blog about, but yet not. Hell week has officially started. So, yay and AHHHH!! At the same time. Slap on Chinese school midterms next weekend and then SAT's the weekend after that, and you've got a more AHHHHH!! than yay situation...
-_-;
Does that even make any sense?
Didn't think so.
Anyway, I spent my Friday day off doing stuff like finishing/posting programs and printing tickets with Cummons's almost obsolete printer. How do I know it's ALMOST obsolete? It ran out ink, so they send me to go buy some. I go to BestBuy, and they don't carry that kind of ink cartridge anymore. It's that old. So I went to CompUSA and they had it. Woo hoo, yippee. The printer still hates me. It doesn't like to feed itself ticket paper. You have to feed it to it for almost every frickin' sheet. -_-; BUT THERE WERE BROWNIES AT THE WORK DAY, SO ALL WAS GOOD.
Anyway, I pretty much spent the rest of my weekend reading Picture of Dorian Gray, which is EFFING AWESOME, mind you. I mean, check this out. Lord Henry's view on optimism.
"The reason we all like to think so well of others is that we are all afraid for ourselves. The basis of optimism is sheer terror. We think that we are generous because we credit our neighbor with the possession of those virtues that are likely to be benefit to us. We praise the banker that we may overdraw our account, and find good qualities in the highwayman in the hope that he may spare our pockets. I mean everything that I have said. I have the greatest contempt for optimism."
And this too! This is a conversation between Lord Henry and his cousin, the Duchess of Monmouth. They're discussing England and the people, then they get off on tangents:
"They are practical."
"They are more cunning than practical. When they make up their ledger, they balance stupidity by wealth, and vice by hypocrisy."
"Still, we have done great things."
"Great things have been thrust on us, Gladys."
"We have carried our burden."
"Only as far as the Stock Exchange."
She shook her head. "I believe in our race," she cried.
"It represents the survival of the pushing."
"It has development."
"Decay fascinates me more."
"What of Art?" she asked.
"It is a malady."
"Love?"
"An illusion."
"Religion?"
"The fashionable substitute for Belief."
"You are a sceptic." (that's how they spell it, don't complain to me)
"Never! Scepticism is the beginning of Faith."
"What are you?"
"To define is to limit."
"Give me a clue."
"Threads snap. You would lose your way in the labyrinth."
"You bewilder me. Let us talk of some one else."
I LOVE LORD HENRY!! Well, no, I don't. In fact I hate him. He's written so that you'll hate him, but he's so deliciously cynical. He's shallow, but not. He believes that beauty is all that matters in the world and stuff like that, but he has deep/educated ways to justify his shallow beliefs. He's just a fascinating character. Love it! LOVE IT!! Highly recommended!!
Mood: Ew. Tess. Ew.
Music: Spirited Away OST - The Dragon Boy
TODAY WAS INTERNATIONAL TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY!! ^_^ Ok, so given, I didn't exactly talk like a pirate today... but I did dress like one. Er. Kinda. I just wore black pants, my white peasant shirt, and this sash thing around my waist. And I had flip flops on... -_-; I couldn't find my other shoes, so shut up. DUDE, the sash thing is older than I am! My mom used to wear it in college. @_@
Oh yeah. The day before (or was it the day before that?) was a pretty good day in Euro History. We introduced Ms. Birtwistle to the wonderful world of STRONGBAD!! XD It was great. Speaking of which, there's a new teen girl squad!! SOoO GOOD!! Bwahahaha.
Anyway, besides that, today's a Friday. So WOO-HOO! But it's a weekend that I'll spend working on my dialectical journals for Tess of the D'urbervilles or my bio lab.
We learned from our Perreine books that a dilemma is when the protagonist of a story must choose between two situations, neither of them desireable. So I guess I have a dilemma on my hands.
Minus the protagonist part...
And the story part...
-_-;
Yeah.
HEY! I APPLIED AN ENGLISH LESSON TO EVERYDAY LIFE!! BE PROUD OF ME!! *Someone chunks a Perreine book at her head*
*WHAM!*
Mood: AHHHHHHHH!!! *thud* (busy, yet deciding to blog anyway...)
Music: Spirited Away OST - Futatabi
Man, am I busy... It's not that I have lots of stuff to do by tomorrow, it's more like the day after that I'm worried about. I have to do a History reading *shudder* by then AND I have to make myself understand Bio by then. I hate Bio. HATE IT.
...
MOVING ON... I just pulled out all of my Spirited Away music again, and man, it's good stuff. I love the music, love the movie, and I STILL WANT A BOYFRIEND WHO CAN TURN INTO A DRAGON!!!
Even though he looked like a girl... -_-;
I went to Fiestas Patrias and did 5 hours of work (DONE WITH NHS!! WOO-HA!!). Anyway, I did that and then I came home all icky. I spent the whole day outside in the hot, humid Houston weather amongst the lovebugs. The curséd things need to learn how to do it without letting the world see. They're so common here that you really don't think about the fact that they're doing the dirty when they fly into your face. I mean, replace "lovebugs" with "people" and you've got one REALLY disturbing situation... >_<
ANYWAY... My sister is on a MISSION!! Here is the exact statement that she posted up on her blog:
ATTENTION ALL READERS WHO LIVE OUTSIDE OF TEXAN CITIES!!! As you know, Jack in the Box fast food chain has been distributing little football helmet antenna balls! I want to collect as many of those antenna balls as possible, but geography kind of prevents me from doing that, since the only antenna balls they give away in Texas are for the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans. Sooooo....any of you who would be willing to send me the Jack in the Box antenna ball of your area, e-mail me here or IM me at SilverDragon129 for my mailing address. I'll reimburse any shipping charges and what not if you want me to. Oh, and I definitely want to hear from any of you people in Cali....they've got 3 antenna balls for California alone, so there should be no excuses from you guys. Send 'em in, folks! :)
Well, I said that was the exact statement from the blog, but it's not. Xp I added in the e-mail address and AIM Screen name, BUT THAT'S IT!! I SWEAR!! -_-; Right. Anyway, if you can help, you can contact her, or even contact me if you want!
Mood: Not bad
Music: Siam Shade - Triptych
Busy busy... I've had TONS of crap to do, but it's Friday, so all is well with the world, and I came home RIGHT after school!! @_@ Dude, no set work today. AWESOME!! Hey, speaking of set work, the brick walls are finished, and up. They look great, now we're setting up doors and windows and stairs and platforms and stuff. It's like we have so much stuff to do, but yet not. We have all that to do, but yet I find myself sorting screws because we don't have this or we don't have that. -_-;; I hate sorting screws...
ANYWAY, lotsa school work, and for extra credit, Mrs. Birtwistle wants us to go see "The Order." @_@ It DOES relate to European History. Really. It does. The Reformation. There ya go. Oh yeah, and she also said that she'd do David if he weren't a statue. Hey, he's supposed to be the image of perfection, and you hafta admit, he DOES have a pretty nice bod. She also had a shot of the back so that we could see his butt (not really, more like because no one ever sees David's back/ass, which she then proceeded to remind us was a GREAT ass...) Hehehe. She's insane, lotsa fun and a good teacher, but insane.
Oh yeah, and Bio was actually kinda fun today. It was more of a goof off day. We had an activity to do today, but there was no write up or any real formal instructions. We just played with clay. There was this doughy kinda stuff that looked like, and probably was, cookie dough or something. It was sticky. So we rolled it up into little balls and chunked them at the wall to see if they would stick.
They did.
We then had Reid throw one at the ceiling. That stuck. Mrs. Westman saw the ones on the wall, so we took those down, but the one on the ceiling? Hehehehe...
Anyway, I also have lotsa service hours to do... -_-; why? SNHS, NHS, blargh... Ah well.
Oh yeah, and if you missed my entries from before, they're archived. I don't even know if the archive link works, but if it does, have at it. That's all for now. Yay.
