Sun 11/19 - AM 85 minutes laundry run. Longer chunk first in Area 51 followed by a shorter faster bit to Rockland Ave. Emboldened by the past two days, picked up the pace a bit once the legs loosened up. PM 35 minutes. Levittown to Summerhill. Moving quicker than the morning run. No ill effects from all the running this weekend.


Sat 11/18 - AM 75 minutes, Walden woods. Very easy, not entirely awake, relaxed run. Hip not a problem despite some twinging of TFL. Legs held up well to the uneven surface. Another positive step. PM 40 minute supermarket run. Moving more quickly, no major issues with the hip. Still some inflammation there, but it looks like I may be out of the doldrums. Good to put the time in today.


Fri 11/17 - PM 70 minutes, Levittown to Longfellow loop. Like Tuesday, took a while to get going and work out the stiffness in the hip/hamstring, but patience was rewarded and I was able to extend the length of the run. Some twinging from the TFL later on in the run. Overall much better than yesterday which is a relief. Temps cooled off over the past few warm, muggy days.


Thu 11/16 - PM 40 minutes, River St to route 27. Paying the piper for yesterday, esp. no stretching after the evening double. Right hammie locked up, reduced range of motion, just a slog. Planned on going longer and had to cut it short. Affected areas seemed to respond well to work with the lacrosse ball and stretching. The next few days will be interesting to see how it feels.


Wed 11/15 - PM 40 minutes/later PM 35 minutes, run about three hours apart with a Celtics game in the middle. Both runs along the river for much of it, first one took a while to loosen up and feel like I was moving at all, second one felt much better and came close to feeling like I was rolling along smoothly, a foreign sensation of late.


Tue 11/14 - PM 65 minutes, Levittown to Longfellow loop. Started off rather gingerly, kept it easy and under control, able to run longer than I had originally planned w/o hip blowing up. Still somewhat sore and inflamed, but better than expected.

Mon 11/13 - off. Stayed up til the wee hours last night reading and paid the price after work as a result. Did some stretching.
