Sun 7/2 - AM 30 minutes easy. More leg de-stiffening. More humid today than yesterday already. PM 50 minutes in Bridgton, with typical rolling terrain. Hot and more humid today, just shy of miserable. Made it hard to simply slog along at a relaxed pace. Legs remain sore but they're getting marginally better with each passing day.

Sat 7/1 - AM 40 minutes very easy, Area 51. Woke up forklift sore, took 15 minutes for legs to fully de-stiffen. Moving better after that but still pokey. Deer flies are out in force in the woods. PM 65 minutes, Walden woods. As expected, not as stiff and I was able to move at a somewhat respectable rhythm the second half of the run. More humid today but not oppressive. The pond is as high as it was 10 years ago.

Fri 6/30 - PM 80 minutes on the Charles river, very easy. Both quads incredibly sore, no real surprise. They remained sore the entire run, as such the pace remained dog-slow. Despite the muscular woes, I can see light at the end of the tunnel as the soreness is different from yesterday. Hot day but not that humid, nice day to be outside.

Thu 6/29 - PM 65 minutes, rail bed to Great Hill and then back via the rail bed. Back in the saddle, waiting for adductors to implode as they seem to do after any kind of break from training. That didn't quite happen, instead my entire core area seemed to get tired all at once around 50 minutes into the run, making the remaining time a complete slog. Before that, I was feeling better than I would have expected, moving quicker than planned.

Mon-Wed 6/26-28 - off. Decided to get back into it after 10 days off, motivation returning.
