Friday, May 18, 2001 - 01:36 a.m.

Today I took my accounting exam. Boo! Didn't go as great as I'd hoped, but at least I'm not failing the class. Other exams are looking up too, I guess. I'm feeling really tired, but so is everyone else. I thought I'd be loving these last few days of the year, but so far they've just been really long and hard.
On another note, John is back from army training again and came to visit me with Little Jon. Lotsa drinking/beating/terror stories, but the best thing I got was this (slightly skrewed up) joke:
So, two hot dogs are sitting in an elephant.
Hot Dog #1: Boy, it's hot in here!
Hot Dog #2: Hot dogs can talk?!
riiight... [They were supposed to be sitting in an oven, but the elephant gave it that fine touch of randomness].
Huagh!!!

We talked! Lisa and I talked! I talked instead of studying an extra 2 hours accounting. umm.. no further comments because I don't know how/what to explain. Time will tell.

News for today:
1. Corrine's bday, went out to Tara Thai on Bethesda Ave. This is one of the few times I've felt useful on the road. I think the RE/MAX that I used to work at on 4525 Bethesda Ave. has shut down just like one of my other references. Wondering how i passed the background check for my newest job.
2. I'm afraid of taking/failing my accounting exam tomorrow, so I'm stressing.
3. I'm afraid of talking to my roommate.

well, I guess there are a few new things...

1. Had dinner with Lisa 2 days ago?- it was nice, we actually got to talk and catch up on our lives. Sometimes I feel like I know less about my roommate than most of the people around us. I don't think I like that feeling. So, at the very end of the school year I ask her how classes are going. Right, perfect timing - all i can say is better late than never - cliche.
2. Yesterday I had lunch with Samra. We had a meal of just the 2 of us! I'm so proud. She walked with me to drop something off just because i asked! and it was out of the way.. and it was icky and too hot out. it was actual labor. This proves true friendship ;)
3. Found out why my Architecture professor was weird all semester - relieves me a little bit.. a little evil.. ok, here's the story: 2 people were supposed to turn in their rough drafts for a paper on Friday, they never did. When she saw them in class, she blamed them for not telling her that they were not planning on turning them in or notifying her if there was a problem. She then accused them of being EXACTLy like her husband!- who left her without any warning!!! This explains EVERYTHING!!!
4. John's back from his army experience, hopefully will see him soon, if we ever get in touch...
So, overall, happy days lately, even during exam time. This is new and exciting.

Hello World!
Ahh, the good old days.

Welcome to entry #1 everyone! I'm pretty afraid of online diaries because I tend to have mood swings, and writing down what I'm thinking at the time might have some unhappy consequences. So, maybe this should stick to happy events... yeah.. happy.. happy sounds good!

So, happy day! Finished one exam today, 3 to go. Also left are 5 papers, and very little sleep. But hey, beach soon! yay!
