GAAAAAH!!
Smegging NTU (Northern Territory University for you outside the chant) claims I haven't enrolled in two courses, haven't completed another I've finished and now let me know there is an additonal 70 hour core unit I have to complete.
I feel like springing into a berzerker rage. Instead I'm going to flood their mail box with copys of all the receipts, assignments and other drek they have lost.
Don't know how I'm going to survive pull through last unit though. I only have a few months left and the other two 70 hour units I did while a full time student and with lecturers and resources at my fingertips
**insert howls of frustration and rage**
I totalled the Blue Berzerker on Saturday. I was fortunate, I came out of it with only a few scratches and bruises but the motorbike's in a sad shape.
The front forks are so bent the front wheel can barely move. I don't know if I'll be able to replace them since the bike is over fifty years old. >>sigh<<
I had a fairly busy weekend til the crash - was helping out at a girl guide camp, I've a leader name now - Dingo. And the girls chorused it every meal time for me to sit with THEM.
The oldest leaders informed me, and not in the most pleasant way, that I'm Just a guide as I haven't done any of the accreditations for leadership. Given the somewhat sour attitudes of the other leaders at time and the fact that they are all middle aged, housewife-mothers I'm beginning to wonder if I want to be a leader - will that mean they will expect me to become like them? NO CHANCE OF THAT!
Ranger Guides has been eliminated, Girl Guides is now just guides and a age group number, who ever is organising the intended improvements to the Australian Guiding movement is stripping us of Identity. I'd far rather be a 'Ranger' than an 'Olave Program Member' It's enough to make me consider joining the scouts, they haven't changed anything and I can feel them *being* Cubs, Scouts and Venturers, those names have some meaning, Guides doesn't anymore for me. We aren't even encouraged to focus on Service and Community anymore and that is what Guiding originally revolved around, even as scouts does.
But I've ranted enough on this topic.
Done another picture but not gotten around to doing anything else, been to busy trying to avoid doing school assignments due today :P
