My Musings

Wednesday, April 17, 2002:
Well, I've survived the first fortnight of work without any apparent ill effects ^_^.

Tir Updates: I've been redrawing and sending out Pah'llocks for the last week and a bit, trying to organise the parents page again.
On other news the Tir will soon be moving to a new server, one that doesn't have popups and a limit on the amount of visitors >shakes a fist at geocities< but it may be a while in the coming given all my current activities and both the size and complexity of the Tir.
I'm currently working on a picture of Selaq for the shop and it's looking Very nice!

Other News: Not much, I've been so busy with Gone Astray, Tir matters and work that I haven't been able to do much else :P Hopefully this will soon pass.

Monday, April 15, 2002:
Busy past week I must say, I've been busy working on my motorbike, the 'Blue Berserker' (It's a Honda C90, it *needs* an unsuitable name ^_^ I'll post a picture when I have time) and am just waiting for the ordered new front tyre and exhaust gasket to arrive before it's registerable.
I've also been doing a bit of drawing and painting, I'll update elfwood on Wednesday hopefully, working on Gone Astray, watched a fair bit of Stargate, created a few more Pah'llocks and basically allowed my bedroom to slump back into a huge mess of papers as I try to get other things organised, including completing my certificate IV in Lands Parks and Wildlife, possibly enrolling in a game animation course, getting my motorbike roadworthy so I can practice for my 'P's and attempting to move the Tir'na'bainne'gile'lair to a new server so I don't need to inflict Geocities on friends and guests.
You may have heard I managed to score a job as an assistant web designer and that can mean only good things for this site, however it is currently disabling a fair amount of my spare time and, given my current net accessability at home (weekdays only between 7.30am and 5.00pm) doesn't leave me much time to potter around online (Especially since work runs from 8.00 to 4.00). Fortunately, for this probationary month I'm only working two days a week but next month I'll probably be working full time, perhaps then I can afford my own 'net account instead of scabbing off my Dad's business one and net surf on weekends.
Until that time I'm going to have to limit my forays online to swift log-on:upload:log-off actions. Please feel free to email me any questions.

I've got a job!!
Huzzah! For at least the next month I'm going to be employed as an assistant web designer ^_^
Plus as its casual I can keep up with my volunteer work at the Desert park and still have plenty of drawing time!
I am also now working on the new layout for this page, it should be up soon.

Hope everyone has had an enjoyable eostre
Some one gave me a chocolate rabbit and I punched it in the head, expecting only to cave it in and the damn thing EXPLODED @_@
I dunno if it was brittle chocolate or if I just used a bit more force than I intended but a shower of chocolate shrapnel went all over the room.
On another note, I turn 21 today. I got a second-hand motorbike and trappings (helmet, kevlar jeans and a new set of riding boots) from my brother and parents, and assorted jewlery from my Grandmother. Plus I may have gotten a job as a trainee in web design BOOO YAAAAH!!
