Gah! I am dead tired, just did some Major Major updating on the Mare@Work page, including pictures done during travel I scanned earlier today.

Made it to Baltimore and my friend Catherine's place today, despite major hassles with my plane being delayed then cancelled and I and my luggage being diverted all over the place before finally being deposited at my destination.

Should be a pretty full on week up - with the aquarium tomorrow then the day after museum trawling (wanna see the Smithsonian) and then a two night camp at Chincoteague! Then Im bundled off to Britain @_@. Should have fairly constant net access for the next few days at least

Now in Tucson Arizona after one Horrible night in Phoenix where I didn't actually realise that the one and only hostel in the place was actually shut July-August so I stayed in a Hotel6 for one night and bused out of there as soon as I could.
Thank all the benevolent spirits that exist for Lady Brooklyn who rescued me from the bus station and whirled me off to safety in her pale blue bug.
I'm spending today at the Tucson University Library and museums - huzzah for free net access!

I visited the Sandiego Zoo - Excellent though I didn't get to see everything (would need a couple of days to) and the museum (on a free day - BIG BONUS) where I got to view Degas sculputes and many of the works of Hokusai which was great.
Hope to do some more updating in the near future.

I've gotten some new art up everywhere except Deviant. Please go, look, enjoy. Will see if I can organise a commission on the Auction some time soon ^_^

Hullo All
The camp is officially over now. I've just gotten back from a trip to walmart to get my self some new crop tops, some Pajamas and a couple of pairs of jeans for Ireland.
Ended up going to the mens area because the ladies section only had fashion jeans and at high prices - I managed to find some work jeans that fit in the blokes section for a good price, though they are a little long in the leg and tend to fit tight in the hip.
Cursed physiological differences in the genders.
I am staying at the house of one of my fellow councillors, and a most celebratable friend, Elaine, whom I met at camp. She too is an artist and we're going to the museum of art on Thursday. Should be a lot of fun, specially since we know enough about composition and use of colour to analyse the artwork a little.
Yesterday we hit the cheap book shops- I was very restrained and only bought five books - three fantasy novels and two beautifully illustrated childrens books.
I've a little under a month before I am due to arrive in London and then a little longer to find my way to Gortrua Organic farm in Tipperary Ireland where I'll be working from September till November.
I've still to visit Sandiego Zoo and Lady Brooklyn in Tucson Arizona, Im not sure which I am looking forward to more, though a part of me wishes I could stay for the Texas Renaissance festival.

Yah! Last day of Camp tomorrow - then we're going to work our tails off to clean up the camp so we can leave. I'll be spending a few days with friends Ive made here then go on back to San Diego and the Zoo YAY. Hopefully I'll find a scanner soon I've started sketching for Gone Astray again but have not got any of my sketchbooks :P Thanks all for your patience!

Listening to "Who can it be now" by men at work

Mounds of paperwork litter my desk still but now, at least, most of it is artwork. I've booked my tickets as far as America now, have my Irish work visa and my passport is currently with the American Embassy so I hope to get that one back soon.
A few minor updates to the site, nothing much, a bit more art and my Sandiego Zoo fund page. I have also added Examples to the commissions page.
More art updates after i've updated Gone Astray's layout.
