Monday, January 19, 2004 I just had to share this with other people; even if you know nothing about Lord of the Rings (like myself), it's funny to see Leonard Nimoy sing.: Things have been going okay for me, I've been a LiveJournal-addict for the past month or so (I paid for a few months). I need to update this place badly with a better layout...I might incorporate it into my website, that would be kinda cool! ^^; Heather~ I don't know if we'll have our table or not, they are so unorganizaed, they probably lost our payment. -_- I'm so very disappointed. Riso tried to help me make a Japanese version of my site, but when we put it online it just shows up as a bunch of question marks. If you can help, please e-mail me! Thank you! X3 This is a much needed fangirl rant, since people in LJ probably don't care for such, and few people read this anyway~ :3: [Warning: skip this paragraph if you don't like shounen-ai/yaoi] I am excited to get my mail next week; for one, I won an auction on eBay for a Baofu/Katsuya doujinshi. It will be my first one, and will join my small collection of MIP doujinshi that I've already started. It's a shame people don't put Persona 2 doujinshi up too much, I would love to buy some of it. I highly doubt the original artists would want to send their books overseas x_x so I must stick to what I know. It is hard but I only like certain couplings (unless it's a non-coupling, then I'll be more likely to buy it ^^;) so I haven't bought any until now. Well, that or it's extremely expensive (not paying $25 for a 16-page doujinshi!). [End of shounen-ai ranting :D] The other thing coming in the mail is my Nocturne starter deck! I love trading card art, I think it would be fun to illustrate for a card game; it's a shame I'm not Japanese, because I believe they had an illustration contest for a Nocturne card! x_x That would have been fun to participate in, even if I didn't win. I wonder if majoring in graphic design would help with that...to be a card game illustrator.There will also be a figure with the cards! I wonder which one I will get (plus one of my LJ friends told me if the description was misprinted for the item, I might get all three of them)...I like all the characters available ^_^ It is too bad they did not make figures of Hijiri and Hikawa, even Yuko and Lucifer would have been cool to get. And speaking of figures, they supposedly stopped production on the SMT demon trading figures! They looked really nice, too, and they were only $5 each. I don't think I'll be able to finish SMT3 by the time this semester is over. x_x; I am sad. So much left unknown! Has anybody read X-Day? It sounds amusing! You talking about wishing you could blow up your high school, and these four actually want to do it! Hayley says it is really depressing though. I'll have to look at it next time I go out. I want to try and do a drawing a day (even try to CG it), every weekday, and stick it up somewhere...perhaps here...even if it's just a stupid headshot (I can put those out quickly). I need to redo Evergrande, as much as it's so pretty and blue, I'm in the mood for some greens and whites! Maybe I'll do a Nocturne layout. Monday, November 3, 2003 A new month, and a cleaner slate than before. I am dropping Painting 1 and Elements of Economics due to health reasons, because I am not in physical condition to handle a lot of schoolwork, and I need to be able to concentrate and not let stress do a number on me while I am vulnerable like this. I have never gotten a C in an art class ever in my life. And I don't intend to start. As for my actual health, the MRI came out clean, so no brain surgery required! LOL I have a test and a doctor's appointment on Friday, but after that I get to have my hair done; I hope I don't get sick during the hair appointment! x.x I plan on dying my hair black, and getting it trimmed a little bit, enough so that I don't have a mullet *cackles*. Which also makes me ponder Otakon, because I was considering doing both Chiaki Tachibana AND her Gozu-Tenno alter-ego. But there is a Persona group as well and I want to do Katsuya or Tatsuya...I'm wondering if I should buy a wig for my Chiaki costumes? If so it will be a nice one. Actually, at least one wig is needed, because Chiaki's hair turns white. I might make an appearance at Ohayocon, health and work and etc. permitting! I'll have more details later if that allows in my schedule. A small site update is in the works with a slightly simpler page layout! |
