Since Satsy was asking me if I still couple Kei/Dai not a day after Murasaki made a Fuuma/Dai joke at the X IF, and I liked the idea; here's the deal. I like ANY slashing of Daisuke with ANYONE, except Yuuto. Why pick on poor Yuuto-sama? Cos he's Kanoe's blonde slaveboy (not as obediant as dear Saiki-dono, but you get the idea ^_-), while Daisuke is Hinoto's, so it would just be WRONG. Although to have them as friends meeting up to complain about how they get used would be fun.

I LOVE MAISON IKKOKU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't agree with the purest fans who hate Viz. If the series is available in my country & it's in a language I understand, that's what's most important to me. =)
As for the dog thing...both my dogs were real big soft wusses who got chased & beaten up by aggressive felines. No, really. Merlie (dog) and Tib (cat) got along as brothers, however, so they used to play together all the time. It was cute! *^__________^* Personally I'd just go for a real Husky, cos they're beautiful. There was one in Merlie's obediance class called Kepler (AKA Keppie), which had one amber eye & the other silver-blue. Cool, except that I object to pedigree breeding so I only ever have mongrels for pets (that includes the cats, XD).
Oh yes, I actually quite like where CLAMP are going with Nataku - the small-child-as-a-real-human-being-with-consciousness-and-understanding bit.
*chokes* Daisuke the beauty?! MWHAHAHAHA! *falls off chair laughing* XD ...actually, I do think of him as a beautiful person; but that's because of his bravery and integrity (*mutters something about these dragons who go around swapping sides as they please*), not because of his looks. As far as I'm concerned, the uglier he is, the better.
Um, Hinoto-chan's far too weepy, I'll give you that. And all they've done with her evil self is to have /Hinoto/ sitting around smirking, which is just plain annoying. HOWEVER (and you knew this was coming ^_~); random MiB attacks, teleportations, finding Kamui, bringing together the whole DoH, manipulating them, gradually giving in to her evil side in several genuinely chilling scenes, and turning out to be the Big Bad of the series (as they would say in the Buffy universe) - she's far from a passive character, even if she's deaf/blind/mute/barely able to move.
I think it's great that Kanoe's motivation all along was to try to free her Nee-san. Sweet! =)

Cori-chan,, I loved that 'bed' pun. XD Yumemi are so much fun, not to mention D/H cos they could make the 'sleeping together' euphemism literal. (Hee hee, good old dreamscape ^______^).
It's a lot kinder than the puns for Dai-kun I usually come up with, which are all decapitation puns. The one I thought of this-morning was 'blowing his top', OUWCH. *groans* Although I did enjoy the 'getting ahead of himself' one (somebody else's, can't remember who).

Oh yeah, Argustar (& I'm still feeling sore about Sorata *sniff*), Keri-chan (oooooh, Aoki-doll! With occie tie! :D *snuggles it*), I thought 'Moulin Rouge' was FANTASTIC when I saw it last year, & I have the soundtrack, & I can sing Come What May off-by-heart. It catered to all my ex-film student needs, especially the "so exciting! It will run for fifty years" song, where the antagonist adds in "at the end, should someone die?" (self-referential foreshadowing! Weeeeeeeee! :DDDDDD). It also had a clever & hillarious mix of songs (The Sound of Music? Maddona? Hahahaha) - 'Like a Virgin' with the white tablecloth, ROFL. And the script was great, as it played knowingly with traditional classical narrative. Yes, it did. =) The only part I felt wasn't quite up-to-standard was the totally pefunctory love story (although Ewan is very cute *grin*). The sets, costumes, lighting, and FX were all 100% brilliant.

*laughs* Yes, Keri, Aoki is utterly kawaii in his neckbrace. So much so, that I want to erase his 'Windypants' nickname, & call him 'Neckbrace Man'. YAAY, it's the Windmasters, come to save us!
