Obligatory sugestions for Aoki: 'Octupustie - the movie', starring Aoki; Yuzu, Arashi, & Karen are all co-starring as spygirls (they wear black leather catsuits. Yuzu-chan's has actual cat ears, of course).

Obligatory cheering over the X TV series: "Arashi is fighting the zombies with all her strength killing as many as she can when she notices Seiichirou walk past with an umbrella. [the umbrella! They kept the umbrella! WHOO-HOO! :D] Zombies charge at him and she slashes them up. More zombies charge at him, but she's too late. Arashi watches as Seiichirou raises his hands and slices the zombies to bits. You see two rotating circles of wind around his extended fingers. Arashi realizes he is a wind master and suddenly all the zombies jump at Seiichirou and merge, trapping him within a zombie-dome. Seiichirou summons his true power and literally creates a tornado effect around himself breaking a hole at the top of the dome and unleashing all the might of the wind tearing them all apart. [OMG, that is so cool! I love this scene in the manga, but it sounds like they've improved on it]As Seiichirou and Arashi talk, his cellphone goes off, he realizes he's late, apologises to Arashi and runs off. Then he runs back, gives her his umbrella and rushes off again."[Waiiiiiiii! <3 This is the bit which made me like him in the first place! I'm so happy! *^^*]

Though it's a shame they apologised to each other. They should have had another fight! *grins* X 10 was neat, cos they had that perfect hostile moment (aaah, Kam/Dai hostile moments do soothe my very soul :P).
Just goes to show; under all that macho bluster, Dai-chan's a big ol' softie. You only need to be cute & polite and he'd be eating out of your hand.

Aoki-san's redeeming features:

1. Seriously, would you call a man wearing THAT tie 'boring'?
2. (Kerianne, avert your eyes)He's a sweet and loyal family man. Which is a good thing! ^_^
3. Good-looking (pretty, in fact), sensibly dressed, and the glasses are cute.
4. REEEEEEEEEEEEALLY nice guy who finds it difficult to get angry. I can relate!
5. Hooray for genkiness, which in Seichiirou-san is also often cute & flustered genkiness. Aw! Plus he's endearingly scatterbrained, & isn't all weird and intense about the Promised Day. He's just patient, taking life as it comes.
6. He's an absolutely trustworthy person.
7. It's hillarious when Karen makes him go cute & flustered (& blush ^_~).
8. He isn't even bothered AT ALL by Karen's profession. Saw her as a valuable human being, right from when they first met.
9. Likes her teddybear too! :P

Last night I dreamt that I was asking over and over "what's wrong with Daisuke?" because I couldn't remember why people don't like him. Then Kerianne said "he's a robot, that's what's wrong with him." I go "oh, right, of course!" & there were these pictures on TV of him with nuts and bolts. *grin* This is the trouble with watching far too much SF. ^_~ And the night before, I dreamed about playing this anime-style videogame. My character came across these three cute little schoolgirls, one of whom was named 'Segawa Daisuke'. *SNIK* :D She was meant to be Kei & Dai's daughter. XD In the cold light of day that's really funny since, WHAT, Daisuke insited on calling his first child after himself, even if it's a girl? Stranger yet, Daisuke took Segawa-kun's name when they got married? *shrieks with laughter* Aw, that's kinda cute!

Last night was funny, actually, cos Emily & I went back to a new term of our Creative Writing class. We were all preoccupied and overexcited about class, & we hadn't seen each other for over a week. So basically we were in the car (Em driving) catching up and giggling about how rejection letters for manuscripts should come in a black envelope; then Emily made me laugh (and I DO shriek!) by saying acceptance letters should come in an envelope with dollar signs printed all over it ($$$$$$$$ XD); then we realised we'd taken a wrong turning. Then we took another, and another, getting more and more lost. Finally we managed to get to the main shopping area, & promptly went straight past the right road. Getting back onto that road meant pulling into the supermarket carpark & going around in circles for a while. After finding a way out of the carpark, we almost went past the correct road for a second time, then we were so relieved about getting there that we nearly drove past the high school where the classes are!
Once at the school, we ran to the office to enroll. Naturally it was the wrong building which we ran into. Need I mention I have THE WORST sense of direction? Everywhere is North to me. XD It was funny, though. I'm going to write a children's story about a pirate who is permanently getting lost.

5. Ernest, dependable, a good friend.
6. Strong spirit. Really, really strong, especially considering what she's been through.
7. Self-esteem problems. I can relate to her.

As for A/K, since CLAMP have made them such a perfect couple (but stuck in Aoki's Family as the spanner in the works), I think it might be a sort of bittersweet 'you can't always get what you want' thing. Just a guess. That's what life is like sometimes, & I fully expect Karen will be cool with it and not spend the rest of her life bemoaning her bad luck.
...CLAMP are evil.^^;;; As for how I feel about the Family: let's just say I will be most displeased if CLAMP kills them off, because Aoki will be devastated. I don't want him to be sad.

I forgot to say, I had *laughs ^__^* a dream about Dai-kun & Kei-chan the other night. It would SO not be cute. Their friendship is cute. I guess Kamui's alright, but he IS the protagonist and I'm sick of being prodded to feel sympathy for him. 1. Not pretty (thank god).
2. Not angsty (thank god).
3. Violent and agressive, but a very nice person when he's not angry.
4. I think I mentioned that I like it when he's angry! *grins*
5. Related to Aoki. Who likes to tease his nephew, and that's just really funny & cute given that Dai-kun's s'posed to be so tough.
6. Adores Seiichirou-san. He's the only person Daisuke smiles at.
7. Okay, that whole thing with Hinoto was extremely disgusting *makes retching sounds* but Daisuke is serious and dependable and loyal to the bitter end. (And how bitter it was).
8. Snubbed nose. I simply HAD to mention that again, it's so cute! *^^*
9. His scenes with Yuzuriha were funny (especially the expression he pulled when Yuzu-chan made him climb out of the train's window!! XD).
10. Beats up on Kamui when he's meant to be helping the kid. Heh heh. YOU ROCK, Dai-kunnies! :P
Oh, BTW, I really loved your song for Kanoe-the-super-ho! XD (*laughs* I feel sorry for Yuuto and Satsuki now! XDDDD). X the Musical would be cool. Octupus Tie the Musical would be even better, though! It would just be the entire cast of X singing "octupus tie, octupus tie, oh octupus tie"...except for Aoki, who would be running around the stage sticking octupi down everyone's pants. Then he'd get to Karen, wearing a dress, and 'have' to stick the octupus down her front instead!! ^_~

I know what you mean...I like being one of the very few Daisuke fans. On fluffy golden pond...

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful springtime weather, so I got off my lazy butt and went for a walk by the river. There were ducklings! ^___^ A couple of mother ducks were sitting in the sun by the edge of the river, and they had about three little fluffy yellow babies each. Soooo cuuute!! Unfortunately the daffodils are all gone, but there are still tons of bluebells growing in lawns over the park.
Then Arthur came over at night, and (as you can imagine) I danced around with X 11 & we laughed over a certain blonde person for a while. The line "he's a very pretty person" was the same in the Mandarin version (no, Segawa-kun's not gay; he's simply mistaken the Sumeragi and Shirou-kun for girls ;p). I made Arthur guess who we wanted Keiichi to get together with, & he goes "the guy with glasses?...the wind-guy?" & I go "oh wow, you're so close! It's the YOUNG wind-guy!!"...Arthur thinks Dai-chan is too serious - Keiichi's much more fun. [*pats Daisuke* Never mind. I think you're fun. Fun to tease, anyway!! ^_~]
My roomie John has a degree in Philosophy. He heard us talking about how nobody in X can change the Future until they give up their Wishes, & he said it's something like "you have to go beyond yourself, you have to let go everything that you knew to gain enlightenment, and only then will you be able to change the World." There's also 'thought' vs. 'action', and you really need to achieve balance between the two.(Come to think of it, there was a story on Doctor Who which was about Enlightenment, & it was only when Turlough gave up what he THOUGHT he wanted that he was enlightened. Interesting!)
Emily came over for a while today, so we went to the second-hand bookshop (Attack of the Bibliophiles! XD). She's writing a story about a boy who can't play music. I miss music! Used to adore the school orchestra.

Lika-chan, that's exactly the way I feel about MY family, except...well, my Mum & Dad are the scarey non-spanking not-raising-voices type of parents. They're so damn nice.
