Quoted from Brown Town:
That the version of the movie The Punisher shown in Malaysia is more politically correct.
As astutely observed by The Associate at Balderdash:
Just returned from watching The Punisher. Now, although I expected the movie to be eviscerated by the censors, I was unprepared for the sheer editing carnage that I beheld - at least half the conversations had abrupt pauses/skips, the coup the grace delivered by the Punisher to the last level boss at the end was cut, etc etc. Interestingly enough, at least two lines were cut for what seems to be sociopolitical reasons:
Witchdoctor: "Vaya con Dios, Castle. Go with God."
Punisher: "God's going to sit this one out" (censored and deleted line)
Punisher in a soliloquy towards the end: "In certain extreme situations the law is inadequate. (Censored and delete line: "In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law.")
And below is the Ministry of Information and Arts final insult to the viewers' intelligence.
*SPOILER ALERT* (although frankly anyone with half a brain should be able to guess every nuance of the plot and ending before even stepping into the cinema)
At the end, Frank Castle, the Punisher, is standing on a bridge staring into the distance, having completed a soliloquy on his ongoing quest to continue taking out the scum of the earth. Screen fades.
Before the credits roll, a caption appears, in a horribly cheapo looking font.
"Later, Frank Castle was arrested and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole."
The sentence was repeated below in Malay.

Blogs have a weird effect on people. But to all those affected, relax! Haha, isn't life all about being stressed and avoiding it?
My blog is such a happy place. As YingPing would go, "whahahahahahahhzzxxsss"...

Ha, she sniggered.
Jane walked into her bedroom and tore off her clothes. Standing naked in front of a full-length mirror, she admired her body.
Slowly, she counted her piercings. A demon leered from the left of her stomach, while another tattoo adorned her back. She smiled, while rolling the ring which pierced her right nipple. It was the class treasure, the Crown Jewel which girls cringed for and guys begged to behold.
"A queen." she said aloud to herself. Even the silence in the room seemed to beg her attention.
They were afraid of her, those in school. 'Bitch' some called her. Ha, but they all soon followed her anyway. While they bitched behind her back, Jane knew that anyone of them would die to follow her. Some, die for her.
Her tattoos... the Jewel... Oh what glory! She wasn't afraid to take off her clothes outside the cubicles while everyone else changed in school. And soon, noone did change in the cubicles. Ha, they watched, with a savage, agonizing mix of jealousy and horror in their hearts. They longed, oh how they longed to be her. To be Jane.

Dad's seriously trying to cut my Internet access. Although I'll still be able to get on now and then it won't be as often as before.
Anyhow, I'm in school using the really new but really slow Macintosh computer. IMac in fact. They probably won it or something.
So anyway, I'm thinking of 'retiring' from the catalyst in 2 issues time. There is this thing with the Youth Communications Ministry that I'm now pre-occupied with so I've decided to shift focus.
At the same time I hope I don't lose focus with schoolwork. Heh.
In any case I'm taking things easy at the moment. There's this show everyone should watch. Bonnie recommended it to me ages ago and I'm finally watching it now. I tried searching video stores for it but I just kept on finding stupid Chinese shows which end with someone in the hospital and the entire family crying their fake tears out.
So anyhow, I downloaded it from Kazaa. Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine". Awesome show. Just go get it and watch it, I shan't destroy the show for you. Plenty of humor, with plenty to chew on as well. Watch out for Fahrenheit 9/11... I'm watching that in the cinema.
Adios amigos.

I quote Joe's blog:
" Hello.. err.. why does everyone want to die? i read a few blogs, and it's very sad to see everyone so fucked up. they all wanna die. and if they don't wanna die, they wanna kill someone else.. why like that? People killin', people dyin' Children hurt and you hear them cryin?!?! where is the love? hahah.. MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR!! but please leave the sheep and horses alone."
Words of wisdom. It's so true!

Fine. I was wrong! Greece was the better team! At the moment Joe is enjoying himself... Go read his blog to know what I mean.
Gone with the Beautiful Game! The Greeks played like the Germans, which equates to boring, sub-standard soccer. Bah. But fine. Portugal lost.
Anyway, I updated the blog template. (Yeah, you noticed) What do you think? Spent 3 hours dragging the little layers together, finding a good picture, editing it, the stuff.
This really isn't a usual blog entry.. I'm just sorta updating everyone about my views on the tragic events today... I'll be back with a better entry next time. Anyway, watch out for the catalyst tomorrow. After you're done reading that issue, be sure to come to this blog and share/praise/flame/flood/suckupto me.
Haha, be nice!

You know, I just stopped by some blogs and I realised that the people who scream about not wanting attention are the ones looking for it the most.
Then they rant about personal issues that noone else would understand except for those involved.
But of course friends who are ignorant of the entire matter would be so oh-then totally concerned and would shower plenty of love over them.
And at the end of the matter they'll emerge totally headstrong and emotionally stable, only to fall into the same state of mind a few days later.
Who needs Days of our Lives?
