Oh well! My total score is 15, and hopefully that'll change after moderation. I'm really disappointed actually, cos I know I could've done a lot better... Oh well, no point fretting.
Spent the most of this afternoon on the computer and fretting (my guitar, stupid), and yes, was pondering on the talk of the day at school: Junior College.
Scary isn't it? Just a few years ago I was a skinny, bow-legged boy wearing short pants, feeling all rejected by the fact that I had failed expectations and entered Peicai. But well, in the end, here I am aiming once again for the top schools in Singapore... and may I not fail.
Looking at my prelim. results, it looks like a very likely school for me would be ACJC. AJC is a little delapidated, while I'm not going to wear the same uniform again for another two years at NYJC (mann I'm such a biased fuckhead). SO yes, ACJC. The school I've been dreading all this while.
What do you expect? Evangelists! I know I shouldn't fear them since my faith is as strong as it has ever been, but still, the thought of enduring weekly Christian services and attempts by the Christian ministry there to seduce me... It's worse because I often condemn Protestantism in front of others. Thinking through this, I sort of shrugged it off since yeah, I don't have much of a choice do I?
Then my teacher called (sorry for rambling, my mom's bugging me). He was trying to get me to come for my school's Dinner and Dance at the end of the year since the response from the whole cohort was rather dismal (just 75, geeze). While just plain chit-chatting with him, that idiot just had to come across the topic of Christianity again. Oh mann. Mr. Fong is one devout Christian, and I dread the day he and I debate on theology, doubt we'd ever stop.
Anyway, so that got me thinking. "We're the same, just that someone went astray." said Mr. Fong in a friendly manner. "No, it's the other way around." said me. Geeze, if that can happen in a friendly talk with my teacher, what would happen if I face evangelists in ACJC? Think about it, Daryl would never back down on his beliefs, and the Christians there wouldn't too. Gosh. I'm picturing a cataclysmic clash of civilisations never seen before in this world. Oh wait, that already happened in Iraq, damn.
Oh well, it's not to say I haven't tried evangelising others too. I guess in my case, I'll never come to accept the Protestant's concept of religion, but I'll never start a World War (unlike some old white men we know). Can Daryl and Christians co-exist? Yes! But in my general view of religion, its every man for himself for this scenario.
Carol led singing for the Mass and I daresay she was awesome. Being only Sec 3 and definitely one of the youngest active Church youths around she really showed nice composure up front. Mann, awesome singing, so yes Carol if you ever read this, that was great!
Can't deny some credit to Alison and Cordelia too, they really tried their best to make the PnW session before the Mass as entertaining as possible. After being away for quite awhile, the PnW was an awesome refresher for me, managed to meet David, Carine, Marissa.. (etc) after a really long while of no-see.
I swear Rayner was half-drunk after Communion. We hung around for this girl named Callix's birthday celebration while everyone else just chilled in the Upper Room... Wow, it's been a really long time since I just chilled around with friends at church. Anyway, Rayner was going around being Rayner and gave everyone quite a few laughs and some others into trouble as well... Haha...
Anyway walked to Kenneth's house before taking a bus back home. Both of us talking about girls, Kenneth's muscles, church, Kenneth's muscles, friends, and Kenneth's muscles. Boy, great end to an otherwise boring day.
What can I say? The school mentioned the mention this morning but nothing else was mentioned about funding and support... Aw fuck them.

If you don't like a station, tune out? Stop using the media as a weapon against people who are having fun doing their jobs. Singapore's forum is degenerating into one filled with sad and hurt egos screaming "Crimes against humanity!!!"
