Yes, I've been starving my brain of sleep lately as I faithfully support Portugal through the tournament... It's been a really amusing experience...
Noone supported Portugal through the group stages, and when they reached the Q-finals everyone was utterly convinced that England was going to win. In the end Portugal thrashed England's ass and as the rest of the quarter-final matches played through, everyone began to support Portugal.
So I was like, wtf. If Portugal beat your team out of the tournament, stick by that losing team and wait for the next tournament instead of supporting another team and getting all happy about it when it wins. Haha...
Same thing happened for the semi-final match against Holland. It's 4.48am right now and the match just ended. Portugal won by 2-1, with all three goals scored by Portugal. All day long people have been telling me how Holland is surely gonna kick Portugal out of the tournament. In the end, we had Orange Juice did we not? Haha!
Anyway, I'm terribly sleepy and I've gotta go get ready for school. Geez. Quite a short entry. Oh well, what the hell. I'm off.
