I leave for Taiwan in a bit more than 24 hours! We're leaving on the 26th, but it's actually the night of the 25th since it's 1 o'clock in the morning or something... I still have so much to do before I leave though! Damn, I it just pisses me off so much since my parents hardly ever let me do what I want these days. Instead, they keep me busy with chores. Arrghh!!!! I seriously need to update White Wings Designs; I've got a new layout planned and more stuff to add, but there's no way I can do it all in time! Especially with my mom breathing down my back every second. I can't use the computer because she won't let me and I can't play FFX-2 because she's watching TV. AHHH!!!

I think I'll make a journal kind of thing during my trip to Taiwan... Since we're not taking the computer and there's no internet at my grandma's, I'll probably write it down and type it up when I get back. Hopefully I'll be able to do some cool stuff and breathe lots of not-so-fresh Taiwanese air. Shopping too... lots of stuff to buy, especially gifts. (I know my mom will be pissed with that) My grandma and aunt are always cool too. ^____^ But I still have to think of stuff I have to do before I leave...

Things to do Before Leaving for Taiwan:
Make new layout for White Wings Designs
Finish some stuff for White Wings Designs
Update White Wings Designs
Work on Neeru's mp3 list
Watch/listen to everything I've downloaded
Finish math homework
Write Bio paper
Study madly for finals
Wash laundry
Pack
Play FFX-2

XD I know I will not be able to finish all this before the night of the 25th... but Taiwan will certainly be a breather for me. I can hardly breathe in my house right now...

Have a happy holidays everyone and hope you all enjoy your vacation!

Yay! It's vacation and I'm hyper! Here's Nandini's interpretation of Cali‡Gari:

In Java, if ("cali" !.equals "gari"){
System.out.println("Freeman is obese");
}

XDDDD you rock girl!

It's the weekend now... and I'm bored. I wish to stick forks into many people right now *ahem looks behind her at brother* Life has its ups and downs, and I guess this is just one of those downs, neh? Everyone's mad at everyone else, everyone's blaming everyone else for something they ought to be blaming themselves for, and everyone else is just plain pissed at everyone else. Whenever someone finds out that they're mad because they misplaced something or whatnot, they turn to someone else who's legally minding their own business and bames them for it. I still can't wait till winter break. I also need to catch up on playing FFX-2. I'm still on chapter 1, which is quite sad. It seems that I only have time each weekend to complete one mission, which at this rate, will take me forever to get anywhere and there will be no point to playing it. I think I need to chill out and eat a pomello... and please excuse me for ranting today.

Seriously, my life can be made into one of those Monty Python movies. Everything is so messed up. First of all, Neeru tells me my backpack is hot and decides to marry it. So she does. (Tiffany W. did the services) And I need my backpack to get to class. So now I'm blamed for kidnapping her husband wife. (the backpack is female because it was lavender and has faded to pink. See the logic? Yes... However some people don't.) XDDDD And then today, during tutorial, Tiffany W. had to most random idea that we should fence with the branches the pruning guy cut from the tree yesterday. I mean, they're just lying around... so so Tiffany, Nandini, Erica and I all grab a branch and start sparring. Then we deem ourselves the three musketeers (actually four, including D'Artagnan) and I'm D'Artagnan. Then Nandini says we should go after the cardinal Richeleu, like in the story, so we find Sophia (who happens to be wearing a red sweatshirt) and Nandini and Tiffany go after her. What a most productive way to spend a tutorial. ^____^ Then comes brunch, and the sparring thing happens again. And then Nandini asked me to borrow my sweatshirt w/the hood so she could act gangsta-ish. Arrrr, and let me freeze to death Nandini?! I just got over a cold XD So then going home, Cathy tells you all you ever needed to know about how gummy bears screw each other. Yup. And then my brother is trying to blackmail me (though he doesn't even understand what it means) because I won't tell him what a gigolo is. (blame it all on school and rap) Yar. I can't wait till winter break. I think we're all currently zonked and need a break... or even more strange stuff shall happen. (like my ploy to rampage the school dressed as sheep)

Thanksgiving break is starting tomorrow. I bet I won't be having much of a break, considering the amount of homework and projects I have. And the week was poo poo too. Today we got the weirdest assignment in Bio. Write a song about cellular respiration or photosynthesis and then sing it to the class on Tuesday. O.o I'm working with Margarita, but we're the only 2 person group in the class since everyone was already to their group limits. I wrote the cheesiest song about photosynthesis, which most likely will be presented with the tune of twinkle twinkle little star. And French class was also poop. We've had subs and the student teacher for the entire week, and it's obviously pissing everyone off. The sub today thought that everyone wearing a hat or hood was a gangster or something, so she got the guy sitting next to me all worked up about the rights of wearing a hat.

I've just seen the Silver Ash - Lunar Eclipse PV. Ling was awesome on vocals, though you could kind of feel that he was lip-syncing to it. (or was he?) The bassist was also great, with the solo. HOW could the Chinese government have blacklisted them? (if the rumors are true, of course) Their stuff isn't even anything super offensive. It's probably just their visual appearance, and they had a sense of unique-ness, being the only Chinese VK band. Not at all like the marketed pop stars you hear every day in Chinese music these days. They don't realize that's why Cpop is so detested these days. I sure hope Silver Ash finds a good place where they are able to express themselves legally without a bunch of people telling them that they can't be what they are or any of that crap.

Friday again, and today was pretty much crap. So was most of this week. I've had a headache for unknown reasons and it was raining when I was going home. In Bio, we did our mitosis books, and as we did, Margarita and her friend were talking about how the choir was going to perform Gloria. All the orchestras are going to be playing while they sing, which I suppose is going to be really cool. Maybe the TA will be playing the organ too... I don't have any idea who'll play it as of yet. Margarita and her friend sang a bit of Gloria (which got many stares from the class) but it does seem really different from what we play. The stuff the orchestra plays is really repetive and strange in a way, while the singing sounds like any normal song. Anyway, Vivaldi at his finest. Coincidentally, we practiced Gloria today in class and even got farther than the first movement. There's 12 movements in all, but we just worked on 3 or so. So dang fast and lots of bowing that needs to be marked in... it seems to be that time of year when you just can't wait for the break and life is just a routine. Oh well, can't wait till winter break. I'll be in Taiwan!

Today's Monday, and we get Tuesday off. Veteran's Day and I really need to the rest to do all the homework I got today. Why don't they just give us Monday off as well rather than screw the entire block schedule around for it? Schools just want kids to go so they get money. XP Ugh. Other than that, nothing new in life. And I'm thinking of opening a Deviantart account soon... blah blah blah, the stress of school. I need to take a day off and relax... and get started on that Athos site I've been planning for so long. I've been thinking of doing it forever, and I've had the books for so long also. An entire indepth site all about Athos! Including analysis of character/relations with other characters/ comparisons/ etc. I also need to update White Wings Designs, though all my files are still on the other computer with photoshop. Soon... 3 new layouts and possibly more tutorials.

Hmm. I'm going to start this "song of the moment" thing since I took off my all-too out of date semi-playlist thing for those of you who do care what the heck I'm listening to. (not that anyone reads this anyway...XD)

Day was okay. Here's a traditional review on a Friday...

P.E.:
We played pickle ball in P.E. It was pretty fun... and the sun semi-came out. I supppose it's good practice for badminton, which Neeraja and I want to try out for. Gotta get those backhands right. We run Monday again. And I had to run twice this week! Dang it.

Lit/Writing:
We had a sub today. Where did all the teachers go today? Bunches of people had subs. Lol. Secret teacher meeting? We watched "the Cask of Amantillado" by Edgar Allan Poe. The characters were OOgly and quoted everything directly from the book.

Biology:
We had the unit exam today. Not too bad actually. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Didn't do anything much after that...

Geo. Enriched:
Took bunches of note and did a venn diagram activity. We have a chapter 5 test Monday. Gotta study...

Orchestra:
There was a guest artist today. A guy from Brazil who plays classical guitar. Pretty good actually. And it was a rest, since I needed to make up the time I missed last night from studying for the Bio exam.

French:
Another sub. Actually, the sub didn't do anything. The student teacher did everything and she got really pissed at us. I ended up having to translate two big frikin paragraphs into English. XD and my partner got to answer the questions...

and that would be the end of my day. =D

Today's been a rather interesting day... As Jennifer H. puts it "We could have been killed today!" It's probably not that bad, but here's a story for those of you actually taking the time to read this.

So Jennifer H. and I were walking home and we had just passed the 7-11 where Xuan gets picked up by her mom. Suddenly, there's this big explosion sound when we had gone slightly past the railroad tracks. The telephone pole had just crashed into the middle of the street, but it was still several meters away. Then this car crashed through the bushes all beat up and stopped by the curb. Jennifer was like "OMG...OMG..." and staring into the sky. Being really tired and done out after the day's end, I was like "huh?" Jennifer points up at the telephone pole that we were practically walking under, and it was swaying like crazy. At this point, I'm finally like O.O WOAH. So we just stared until it stopped shaking so badly and continued walking... But we were thinking, if the telephone pole had crashed on anyone, the person driving the car would probably have to go to jail. She wasn't that old either... just a teen. Good thing no one was hurt though.

I ought to be working on my Lit/Writing rought draft right now, but I can't think of how to start it. XD so here I am, making another blog entry. It seems that we lost the homecoming game (big surprise, considering we lost all the other ones as well) so not going was a good thing. And Nandini, I didn't know you had a new xanga until yesterday! Updated that link... and since I have nothing else to say, I'll do a run down of my day so far.

Woke up around 7:45 (daylight savings, ownz j00 :D) and then went back to bed for a bit until 8:20 or so (the previous 9:20) and had breakfast. Practiced violin for about 45 minutes and then worked on math homework until my violin lesson at 11:15. Violin went okay. It seemed that the teacher was more satisfied with the way I held the bow today. It's always a big issue about how "my shoulder goes up" or "how you should rest your hand on the strings, not the bow." Blah. I finally got Suzuki no. 4 though. After almost three months of Wolfhart I finally get to play something more than etudes and scales. After violin, I got home and ate lunch (potstickers and miso soup!) and watched TV for a while. Then I finished my math homework and I actually got the last problem about the skew quadrilateral. (meaning that everyone else probably got it too XD) So I decided to start on my essay for Lit/Writing, and here I am right now. Wee.

Pitas had some server crashes and it seems that I've lost about three entries. That's okay though, it just gives me more room to update then I guess... yeah that doesn't make any sense.

Today was the Homecoming rally. Seniors won, but everyone knew it was rigged anyway. However, freshmen won spirit week! It was like "Yay!!" After the first day of dissapointment, most people started dressing, even for board game day. It was like "Dress up like a board game? What the heck does that mean?" I doubt that we'll win the float though. It seems that the freshmen float is real nice when you're up close and looking at it, but it doesn't have a great deal of stuff sticking out from it, thus making it harder to distinguish. It seems that they were going to put an alligator on it (our game theme is Jimanji) but someone killed it. XD oh well, I won't be there for the homecoming game later tonight since it's at Saratoga and I doubt my dad would even consider driving me because he'll be so tired and will want to sleep. Wish I could go, and I sure dang hope we win, since we haven't had the greatest season. (go football team!) Ah, the weekend again.

Sunday, September 7, 2003 08:07 p.m.
Finally I get to put a proper update on this. I got banned again, so getting onto the computer is going to be harder for a while. I was just trying to figure out some PHP when my dad woke up and started getting all pissed off. Oh well. Life is pissing me off. >.< I won't start on that of I'll just go on and on, and I need some positive outlook right now. I have to go to school tomorrow. XP It already seems like forever since school started, and so much has happened. FOX started showing Shaman King! I hate it that they called Manta "Morty" though. All the characters seem so weird Americanized....

Tiffa got out of the hospital! Grrr cause her school doesn't have a pool, so Ning Ning said... We're doing swimming right now for six weeks, and the pool is SOOOO dang salty! I was so friggin thirsty the first day in third period. Not to mention, we get to freeze out in the cold during second period. blah. I'm really random today... btw, tell me what you think of the layout, please! I updated the whole sidebar cause the old stuff was really out of date...

Finally! New layout. I had this one planned for a long time. This is actually sort of a test-entry, so I'll probably be adding more to it later. Might be some errors, I'm trying my best to fix them.
