"i have to believe in a world outside my own mind.
i have to believe that my actions still have
meaning, even if i can't remember them.
i have to believe that when my eyes are closed,
the world's still there.
do i believe the world's still there?
is it still out there?... yeah.
we all need mirrors to remind ourselves who we are.
i'm no different."

everyone and everything is getting old.

ignorance is not bliss
in other news, tom tom is gone =(
i'm going to miss our random conversation at work.
don't get me wrong, it was an expected end result of his hollywood career.
working with tommy boy had its ups and downs. more downs than ups.
... considering he was a hell of a lazy shift leader,
but he was one of my favorites at hollywood.
taking over his title isn't so bad. it's a new process.
being bossy on the work front has it's difficulties, hehe.
on the other hand, working with the newbies make it easy.
it's weird being called for. an ego-booster, but weird.
as joe's friend put it tuesday night:
"don't you feel so important? knowing that you locked up a store?"
yes and no. yes, i feel important. no, because the
two nights i closed, i forgot to change out of my shoes.
*good luck to hk on his first close up tonight.

so to answer the question of what i did over spring break:
1.) worked
2.) got a bad haircut and dyejob with mags. the color,
looking better these days. the haircut, crock as ever
3.) caught up on my missed tv shows
4.) homebodied
...and with the start of a brand new quarter in about five hours, we'll see what color my energy is after a month.
-------------------------------------------------
countdown: 115 days
and although, i've said how happy i'll be once i'm back,
in the back of my head, i'm holding onto
a piece of fear.
a fear of what is the unanswered question...
