You see at what point one can create technology weirdness? :P Yup, I made the Data character of X London. Who knows what lead me into creating him. Perhaps because every time they talk to me about a 'future', I start imaginning things, little objects, places, domestic things that aren't so out of the focus. *shrug* Made it for Malene (X2299 dreamgazer), made it for Byron, the Fire Caster and now I do it again for Reeve. *scratches head* Should I start to worry? XD
Oh come on, don't give me that look of 'and you are spending your time on this?' It's the first time I actually co-run an RPG with someone online (Hogwarts_RPG was made by Desiree) and I'm having a blast at it. Heee! XD 04:05 a.m.

*pika* Squeaky clean. Aahh, I love morning showers <3<3<3
Wooohoo, this entry will be long. First, general updates on X London. AT LAST!!! The Kamuis came from their lil' holes XD Having the Kamuis' approved, we are ready to begin with the game, since they are actually the *heart* of the game. The remaining dragons can be added in later since not everybody appeared suddenly at X. I actually feel like Amazon.com, reserving characters X_X. Warning to those players: the charas will be reserved only for a week, since others may apply for them. Fair enough, don't you think?
I was planning also to set a MB like Ali did with the Hogwarts_RPG. It's really useful specially for cyberjunkies like us who like to babble a lot XPPP Actually I have to take a look at my bandwith and we'll see. *wink wink nudge nudge*
(/game)
Ok so.. big shit at the library. It stormed, it rained, the roof where we had stored plenty of the books fell and boxes have to be entirely thrown to the trash now, because everything's wet and when you touch them, they actually feel like a sponge. Daaarrrnn it! Anyways, most of the material was way old and without any possible use that I could consider to keep: not useful information, nor historical need (books ethat could be from the beggining of the past century). The problem was that we had AAAAALL packed and ordered to return it to their shelves and now, (that they are all wet and many are getting dried at the fireplaces) is a big bunch of a mess. My head hurt before going to work and when I came back home, I had to take (again) a blood pressure pill. Iiiiiick.
[RANDOM] Psss, ever felt like stripping Oliver Wood? XD
If I were you, I'd buy this t-shirt XD

So what's with Leticia's hectic life?
BUSY AS A PIG. That, to make it simple. The works finally started at the library and they are currently demolishing the front at a speed that would make anyone pee on his pants. The inner part is still on hold until we move the 33.000 books, computers and furniture. And there is where SuperWill!Let hero appears, with her lowest paid employee cape and her odd looks that scream "Honestly, man"
There are actually 2 people who have a bit more of will to move it all without panicking and that's Mariceli and I. Mariceli, having loads of experience in this library than me, is tired of the rest of the people's passiveness so she grumbles, sit in a chair and crosses her arms. I, being the little annoying son of a bitch I am, look at all together and say "... AND?" so they reaction a bit to move a finger and actually start thinking on what to do. Minutes passes, the front is already done and they are surely going to start working inside next week. Which means we do have to move our balls from the chairs and work. Yesterday, in a rage of frustration I ran to the kitchen, picked a bunch of plastic bags and alone, I started separating the novels we'll keep when the rest will have to go to boxes, closed for 3 months. "Ok, so with letter A. What do we keep? Allende, Aguinis... what else? Nothing. Ok" so I put 5 or 6 books in the bag, closed it, wrote the name of the contents of the bag and put it on the other room. Picked bag 2 and did the same with letter B.
Yep. The point was to make them feel miserable and move, to realise that I'm not a robot and that they have to work too. And they did, of course. Soon they started looking at the books and giving opinions, picking bags and in 15 minutes we were done. See? You can do it too, kiddo.
This morning I couldn't go to continue working (anyways, it wasn't my turn coz I work only 2 hours a day. Yesterday, I worked 12 hours), but I couldn't get myself out of the bed. Last night I was a ball of stress like the previous night as well. I made a plan of the library, the rooms, the furniture and where could we set all to gain as much space as possible. I simply could not sleep at all. I took 2 of the strongest sleeping pills I could get and nothing happened. Got warm milk with honey and only at 4 am, I got some rest. So of course, this morning, I was almost dead sleeping.
My aunt, who works there (but in the Comission, so she rarely goes, only for important decisions), is pretty upset at this. Not because of me, but because of the other idiots who are getting paid 3 times more than I get each month and don't do a shit, while I stress out all because I care of the place where I work.
Last night I told her on the phone that I don't care if I work more. I cannot conceive this on my head. It's stronger than me. I cannot sit and look how everything is falling down in a place without moving a finger. I seriously can't. So no matter how fucked up I'll finish every day, I'll keep on doing what I *have* to do to preserve any hope that this can be done with the support of a team because I KNOW that what I'm doing is correct. In the meantime, I want to make them suffer looking at how useless the rest are as well, to not be able to take a decision and work along. Hopefully, (my idea is, after all) they'll realise that if they don't move, nobody's going to pick them from their ass and move them to a safe place. And that if we all pull from the same rope, good things will come.
It's 3:04 pm and I have to go to work in 20 minutes. I'll take my blood pressure pill and hit the road there. They won't defeat me. 02:48 p.m.

*yawns* 12:18 of the new day. Morning after the storm of day.
Ali owns the book and with her, I just fall into the breakdown of the major spoilers of the book. Yeah kids. It's all there and we can't do a thing but waiting until Rowling gets the big hit of what she has just done. This books seems way too alien.
We didn't sleep at all, practically. I went to bed forcing myself to do it at 6:18 am today because I need sleep, but I really didn't want to go. Felt anxiety, get a lil' of liquor to cheer myself up, got candy, smoked like a chimney and still, nothing. THAT idea was still in my head.
Why, why, why, fuck it.
Tanou, it did hit me too and I understand the "catharsis" you wanted with that layout *hugs close* but I don't think it could do any good to me because I'd stay for hours at it asking myself why too. You and all around can't believe how much a character can hit you sometimes. I haven't feel this time since my grandpa died and when I read about Seishirou's death. And I CAN'T believe many readers out there in forums and ML's are taking it so simply. That woman played with fans feelings. You can tell me that she is the writer and she can write whatever she wants. But with argument. The character didn't have to die 'just because there has to be a death' in the book. If it was to give Harry a shock and sink him into depression, she could have picked someone else (many of us pointed at several characters) and not kill the hope of many fans out there. I am beyond dissapointed and I find it really hard how fans are going to continue reading book 6 and 7 with the same intensity they've been doing.
Yesterday was hell of an intense day. Oh yes. And still, I can't believe it. 12:18 p.m.

So let's say "Fuck you, Leticia".
Coz I've been spoiled. And I'm not happy at all.
Visiting my referrers (which I do more than before lately to check who's taking the quiz of the CLAMP item. Curiosity) I saw one adddy from a girl I don't read an update in ages. It was strange that her URL was on my tracker so I went and... kaaabboooom. I got it. What a bunch of dipshit. I can't sue her for making that sooo big and shiny but hence, can't people WAIT? It ruined my big surprise. And no, I'm not putting the link here to not spoil the rest of idiots like me who haven't get the book yet.
Back to my so boring life. Did anyone of you knew that I worked for a tattoo artist? Ahaha! Perhaps nobody knew (maybe you? I don't remember if I told you). Well I have this little thing on me that I like to draw and doodle and when I was at high school, you can tell how interested I was in the repetitive blablabla of the professors without the educational interaction with her/his students. So I made little flames. Those flames were a bit bigger and then I took a hand from a friend. And I started drawing and whatnot. My likeness was with Chinese dragons and if not, simple flames in curled designs. At the anime circle I was at the moment, there was a guy who made tattoos and saw me one day doing the same on the hand to another friend, so he asked me if I wanted to make designs for him. Sure, rock on. It was a good job, until I discovered he wasn't paying for half of my job and was claiming his works as mine. Which ticked me off. Bye bye and I forgot about it. Last night while I was thinking about my character for the X RPG, I remembered about this period of my life and I started searching for tattoo patterns online. Result? Screw them all. I want my mark. So I started doodling again and it came out. It's actually really big but I'll post it once the entire developement of the character is ready. For now I just felt like wanting to post some pictures of other doodles here *shrug* ^^; They are tribals, if you want to know, and yes, they aren't fantastic because I'm lazy to clear them up and correct the lines. They are made really quickly but the point is that I wanted to show some pieces that... come from my head. XP 05:13 p.m.

Long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away... *cough cough* Erhhh.. whatever. ^^; Here it comes, here it is... X London / 2099!!

So yes, it's true kiddies. Melan-kun and I have put our eBBBBBBBBBil forces together into the creation of this X-based Play-by-mail RPG. To be honest, the idea has been drumming on Melan's head for a couple of days (months?) and together we worked on the story line, settled in London. Why? Well, you know that Tokyo has the excuse to be rebuilt after 2WW and the kekkais have been settled in that period. The storyline in X London involves a bunch of political interests behing the prophecy and the role of the TnR Dreamgazer plays a certain importance in the entire game. We thought that, since being London one of the most ancient locations in all Europe, it could be less suspicious about the entire battle, argumenting that the kekkais have been placed with new technologies, since it's been 100 years after the so known 1999 plot. Applications are open now for the interested players. We aren't so picky though we would really love good, responsible players. I'd be in condition to suggest that the age required to join shouldn't be less than 16 years old.
The two Kamuis are open for grabs so go apply while you can! Go, go, go, go! XD 08:06 p.m.

Aya, the simplest way to make screecaps is the following: 1) play the video 2) push 'pause' in the scene you want to capture 3) press "Prnt Src" button (which it at top of your keyboard, at your right) 4) open any graphics programn. Say Corel, Photoshop or even the simplest 'Paint' that comes with Windows. 5) go to "Edit" and press "paste" and the caption of your image will appear. Some people say that it's easier to make it if you have a Mac, but since I do not have it, I have no idea of how to do it. Hope it helps ^^ 06:57 p.m.

Library news: we got the thief from her nails! HAH! è_é
It's been missing some money from the cashier at the library and we had no idea who could it be. We thought 'perhaps we missed to take note of some incomings. Who knows' and get it over for some months. But this morning, Walter caught the woman who works at the PCs with him too right the moment when she was opening his pack, taking the money for the payment of the month (he manages the quota from the subscribers of the library) and when he said "What are you doing?" she turned around and hid the box behind herself.
GOTCHA!!! >:) I've *NEVER* trusted that woman since the first day she put a step on the library. On chats alone at the kitchen she only threw shit to everybody in the library and then, she behaved like an 'angel', looking like she was a hard worker and that she didn't mind to do something else than she was required for. FAKE. All that was a maskerade. And I smelled that. I just knew she was coming soon with something like that. It was too pretty damn obvious.
Fortunatelly she'll be gone from work tomorrow. The Directive Commision had a reunion about it this afternoon. And no, I'm not being a bitch here. She was stealing /OUR/ salary, since it comes from there. 08:29 p.m.

Can people believe into something so ridiculous like this? You receive lods of mails of these almost daily (and I believe you, in your hobby of spam collector, know about this XP) and you think 'Do they really think they'll get any reply?' Generally I start reading the first 3 or 4 lines just to amuse myself because you can simply detect this kind of mails by suggestive subjects such as "Strictly confidential" or something for the spy-wannabe style. What amazes me, is that there is cyber people falling into these tricks already without existing actual laws about it.

I started the day in a nasty, annoyed mood. First I call the ISP for the library server to resolve a problem with the FTP connection and the permission to enter in the folders which /I created/ some time ago, and they don't know what to say to me. They suggested me to download another ftp programn and after a slight eye rollage at the unproffesionalism of the reply, I started on the quest for the research of the goddamn WS_FTPle online. Went to download.com, found it and Tadaaa!!! it's a friggin' 15 days free trial, as expected. Excuse me, but I don't have time to search the entire bloody internet to find a crack for it, risking my OS to get a virus for all the shit you can get from those. I have 4 days to get everything set up and try it online, so as you may imagine, I'm in a hurry. So he told me he's going to send me the free version he got through mail. An hour passed and there's no mail. And my black cloud over my head it's starting to grow.
Then I have the disgrace to have the monumental idea to be 'nice' and wish good luck to a group where Rae is. Oh, the blasphemy. Oh, the horror. Oh, the ignorance, because I forgot I was talking with a group of professionals and they happen to be supersticious, so they think that when someone's wishing good luck it means that something is going to go wrong. Superstition is not the excuse you have to find if you made a mistake because of your poor, human condition to make a mistake from time to time like the rest of the mortals around the world. Attitudes like these don't generally make a dent in my day, but joined to the 4 million things going on my head, it made my skull spin with criminal thoughts about certain subjects on art. So next time I'll save my ridiculous good luck wishes and keep them in the tight small hole of my derrière and that's it. People, please.
*looks up at ceiling* And I know, Meuny. I know what you are going to say.
The other beautiful moment was the one I had at the forums of thehellsing.org. A couple of tight-more-fan-than-you bitches started bashing and attacking (because yes, they explained their reasons but in a harsh, disgusting mode as if they were Hirano or the general manager of the publishing company) the ones who didn't agree with the license on Hellsing. But most of all, about the attitude the companies take on forcing the fansites with scanlations down. As they explain it, it's because of copyright, since when you are replacing the original kanji by English or whatever language you are translating the piece, you are infricting the law, that is robbery. The question is: since these sites are made by FANS and make the scanlations without comercial purpose (since the scans are avaiable everywhere for free on the net), how could the law be broken? The people who replied to the thread owned sites containing images extracted from the manga and animated series of Hellsing. Did they pay for their copyright and agreed with the policy of usage of the art when they made their layouts/icons/whatever? No. Even if they made the little obbligated note of 'no comercial purpose intended. all the works belong to their author' So why do they want to bash the scanlation projects with their pseudo purist 'right' arguments? If it was like that, then they should take ALL the images they are using down as well. But the problem wasn't that, in fact. The problem is that they are bothered that fans around the world who can't afford a copy in Japanese (what for, I don't know because I don't know to read it save for some phrases and words and getting paid to learn Japanese means: going to a city 250 kms from my place and paying a teacher with the money I don't own) or English because THEY could. Putting it in simpler words: elitism. But thereally BAD one, not showing an inch of support for those in inferiority of economical conditions (I could have make a long post there explaining my personal reasons, but honestly, it's not worth of it. People who are up there in their kingdom of superiority complex are a royal waste of time) or other troubles that right now, they don't affect my state. It sucked big time, because that makes me hate many self proclaimed 'more-fan-than-you' idiots, cutting my interest for the series and finally making me give up my fan project. Whatever, they *won't* make it. The fandom in general may suck, but there are many people out there... very well hidden who are worth of the word "fan" because they support others and encourage them to work for what they want. NOT pushing their heads down like a dictatorial regime.
So yes, my day started BAD. I'm off to do my French homework now and hopefully it will get better later. It better will. 11:51 a.m.

To my absolute surprise, I accidentally discovered today that Christina Aguilera's new video, "Fighter" was produced by Floria Sigismondi. Now you have to know how much I LOVE that woman's work.
She told me something about that video, because I told her the song reminds me of the 80's, leather, chains and all that good stuff XP and she said that the video was creepy. That the girl was carrying a bag with huge needles at her back. And I said 'wow', but didn't make the connection at all. Then today, while I was at obaa-sama's house, I randomly passed on MTV and there it was, the goddess talking about the making of the video. My eyes went to extraordinary dimensions because rare are the oportunities when you have the chance to see her on air, actually speaking of her work and in a special programn about production. She's a deeply dedicated woman to her career. She just *loves* it.
She owns a very personal style. When I finished watching "Fighter", these words came out of my mouth in awe: 'Classical Sigismondi' Things you'l always see in her works (Call it the ABC of Floria's happy land):
1) Hands. Maaaaaany hands specially making gestures as if they were touching invisible objects made of glass
2) Ballerinas. Just remember her origins are italian and that she has been raised in a family of artists or people deeply related with classical arts.
3) Prothesis. The weirdest, uncommon and specially related to hands, legs and arms.
4) The black as base. In *very* exceptional ocasions, shocking colors. But the effect has to be related directly to the 'hurt' she wants to create to the normal viewer. That is, to make the scene really impact.
5) Abandoned houses or rooms with old painting at their walls, like scratched.
6) Insects.
Oh yes, some classify her works as disturbing. And if you are easily impressioned, I don't recommend you to go to an art exhibit, like for example Come part mental. It's abstract, surrealist and 'creepy' in certain eyes. Not in mine, since I'm an arts craze ^^;; I discovered her by one of my big adolescent kicks, Marilyn Manson's Beautiful people video. That one actually made my mom look at the TV with the most horrorized look I ever seen. And later, she got used to it. XP Nah, really, once I had to explain the methaphorical idea of the video, she came to the conclusion that it was really well done. Personally, my favorite one could be "Tourniquet". David Bowie's "Little Wonder" is great as well. Horror writers LOVE her for her exploding imagination from ideas she can come with. I am simply in love with her masterful dedication and her art, and it hits me REALLY hard knowing how someone can imprint her different vision of the world in her art. Christ, how many times you or I say 'and how the hell can I sbow this in a more... deep way'? You do it when you write, when you design, when you draw, and even in your own way on whatever you like to do every day. She does what she feels, risking everything on being put in a mental hospital for her ideas and she actually doesn't care a thing.
