version 35: Was going through my jrock scans for asrundream.net and pulled these pictures out from the Siam Shade 5 CD. I went to the bookstore and reread The Hobbit today. ^_^ It's been years...I don't even remember when I read it, but it wasn't recently. It was nice. Saw a picture of Aragorn on the cover of one of the new edition Return of the King novels, dressed in mail with Anduril, probably from the ROTK movie. I can't wait till that comes out...*sigh* another 2 years ><

Ah well. Because I can't watch my Macross, I've been rereading Lord of the Rings instead. I wanted to reread the trilogy over the break, but then realized I'd left my books in Austin. So I had to make do with the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales (which is not bad at all, considering that the Sil is my favorite Tolkien book...but after seeing the FOTR movie I really wanted to compare it with the book and I hadn't read the book in over 5 years.)

I consider it a good point to mention here that my books are the 1965 printing of Lord of the Rings, and that as I picked up FOTR to start reading it, pages 183-194 fell out.

Err...anyway, off to watch Utena. The hobbits have gotten to Bree and met Strider and I consider it a sufficient point to stop there for the night. ^_^

Finally got sick of the black and changed it. Clean and crisp new one, Siam Shade, one of the BEST jrock bands in existance and one of the least known on the net, for some reason. ^^;; They're so good...I don't know why.

I went to the mall today and bought...a pretzel. Yeah. I have no money, and the anime store was running out of stuff anyway, and I didn't have enough to buy Terry Brooks' Antrax which was about $22 hardcover, even with the 20% discount. @_@ Books these days are just so expensive...and yet I keep buying them XD
