Besides, if I like the artist I usually go out and buy their albums anyway. And if it wasn't for online music, I and thousands of other people never would have gotten into jrock, and jrockers would not be as rich as they are now. -_-

52. Do you just not care either way?: I have strong opinions about online music but I won't share them here cause it'd get into a rant and then I'd make people upset ^^;;

Yep that's right! At 1:49 AM, my blog will officially be one year old! ^_^ It feels weird that I've been basically recording my whole life online for about a year. I go back and reread some of my archive sometimes and I remember exactly what I was doing and what I was feeling when I wrote those entries. Some of the meomries are pleasant, some are bitter, some are very important to me. My blog is my outlet to the world.

Ahem. It must be this song I'm listening to. *is getting a toothache from Gackt's sappy sweet Christmas present but just can't stop listening to it.* Damn you, Gackt! It's not fair...how can one man possibly be so incredibly talented? ^_~

Now that we have THAT out of the way, just another little piece of news. My Tokyo Babylon fic Romance in G Major has been nominated for the annual Tokyo Babylon CLAMP Fanfiction Awards! ^_^ I'm really proud of that fic. I've taken a look at the other entries, and there are some reaaaaally prominent fanfic authors up against me though, so who knows ^^; I'm just happy to have been nominated, though! I'll post a link to the contest when it's officially opened for voting so you guys can go gorge on some nice TB fic. ^_^

I don't know why it's possible for me to be this depressed after writing what is probably one of the better things I've written in a while, but I am. It's probably a combination of too much thinking and a couple of songs on my winamp and my Malice Mizer/Gackt CD marathon on the way two and from Lyra's this weekend.

Funny, as neesan seems to be getting better from MM's breakup, I get worse. >< I know it probably sounds like a really really stupid and childish thing to be upset over, but I AM upset, dammit. And right now it doesn't even matter that I'm not fluent in Japanese and haven't even ever lived in Japan and have never seen or heard Malice Mizer on live, much less on TV or on the news, it still depresses me. So there. ><

I really don't know what it is...last spring for about a week or so I got like this over Luna Sea's breakup, which is REALLY just sad because Luna Sea broke up in November 2000 and I wasn't into them then. Maybe it was a delayed reaction.

Whatever the case, I wrote a Malice Mizer fic. It's here if you're remotely interested...don't know why you would be. It's non shounen-ai and I really hate writing/reading jrock fanfics since they're about real people and it just really kind of creeps me out to write stuff about real people. But...I really just had to write this one. Don't ask me why. Again, it's the fault of Gackt and his cronies, also known as Mana, Kozi, Yu~ki, and Kami.

Gackt's new single 12-Gatsu no Love Song isn't too bad. Neesan reviewed it on Shiroi (and threw a bit of crying and sobbing into her blog for good measure XD) and of course she loves it. The lyrics are just a wee bit too sappy for me, but I love the arrangement, and the melody is awesome, especially the chorus. And it reminds me of MM. >< See? I told you I'm nuts. I've been listening to that song, Dope HEADz's Evening Rose, and Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven on repeat on winamp for at least the past 4 hours.

I think I'll go hide in the corner now until my depressed spell has passed. Errm...yeah.
