*grin* it's a beautiful day at 3 AM! Just finished all my uploading and updating...actually I've been finished for a while now, just been sitting here surfing random jrock webpages. The conversation above came from me stumbling across Hideki's homepage from a Siam Shade website. It's a very interesting page, actually, if you can read Japanese. If you can't, well...the Laughing Nose is still interesting. XD
Been productive this weekend, on the internet front. I updated my FY site, my jrock site, uploaded new mp3s to both my mp3 download page and the jrock radio station, did a review of Siam Shade's Love on the jrock blog, wrote and posted SnK, and posted some SnK fanart. Tomorrow (or today, I guess) is Macross site day. I suppose I have to do my Chinese hw at some time in there too...
I hate my cat. Actually my roommate's cat. Its name is Bob and I dunno what kind of drugs it's on, but apparently this evening it decided that my feet were food and decided to start clawing me while I was doing the dishes. Needless to say I got very upset and dumped him in my roommate's room and shut the door. He was better after I left him in there for a while XD Yes, I know, I'm a cruel person.
I found a link today talking about Tak Matsumoto's (B'z guitarist) selection as the first Asian Gibson signature artist. The link is here if you wanna check it out. This was written in late 1999, but I still think it's kinda cool. ^_^

It's COLD!
PT was cancelled this morning since it's freezing (literally) out here. I came outside at about 8:30 AM and there was ice covering my car, so I got to use the cool ice scraper ^_^ I dunno why it suddenly decided to get cold all of a sudden, but I like this weather...hell, if it makes PT get cancelled, of course I like it. XD It's still really icy and just at about 32 degrees outside. We better not have LLAB outside today ><
I skipped my English class this morning because I was going to get up at 7, but ended up getting up at 7:30 and the class is at 8. Good thing I had one more absence I could use for that class. I still have to turn in my essay tomorrow, which I've written about 1/3 of. ^^;; I was gonna finish it last night, but umm...HP fanfic. *hides*

Hmm...I'm sitting at my desk in 106 and just realized I haven't blogged in a while. At this blog, anyway *has too many now to remember which when was blogged when* So err...the update on my nonexistant life.
Thanksgiving was ok. Everyone probably knows that I've seen the HP movie, and it wasn't all it was hyped up to be. I mean, it was good, especially the effects and the music and the Quidditch game. The acting wasn't too bad. But I guess I kind of expected them to put more of the book in it...they cut out a bunch of scenes. Then again, I wasn't all that impressed with the first book either, so maybe it was just that. The writing in books 1 and 2 is decent, but nowhere near the writing quality in books 3 and 4.
ANYWAY...mr.org is doing an HP self insert round robin fic on list, but we're about to move it to its own blog so our poor siblings who aren't in the fic don't have to be subjected to it *evil cackle*
Well, I didn't make wing commander, but I think Behringer is making me support group commander. Which is pretty surprising, since I'm a 300, but I don't mind. Probably it has something to do with the fact that I practically handed him a sheet with all the proposed changes to the wing that I wanted to make. I don't mind the fact that he's going to follow my changes; in fact, I'm pretty happy about that. Ah well.
Due to my obsession with Kaikan Phrase (which I WANT the next eps! HURRY UP FANSUBBERS!), I've been discovering a bunch of jrock bands lately...most notably ZIGZO. XD XD XD Neesan and my brother know what I'm talking about. This is the little blurb I have up on them on one of my IM away messages:
"The jrock band ZIGZO is made up of rejects. First of all, they have two members that are former members of the bands BY-SEXUAL, SISTER, SISTER, and BY-SEX. Either they couldn't make up their minds on a band name, or they were rejected that many times. Then we have Tetsu. As in Tetsu of Malice Mizer, who can't sing to save his life. Finally, there's Sakura, formerly of L'Arc~en~Ciel, the reject of all jrock rejects. No wonder their band name is ZIGZO."
XD I don't exactly LIKE their music, per se...it's more of an image thing. Tetsu still can't sing, though he's gotten a little better. Sakura's drumming style is still pretty much the same. A little harder, perhaps. ZIGZO seems very into the punk style of rock. They have nice guitars, but all their songs sound pretty much the same.
Transtic Nerve, on the other hand, is awesome. Taka, their lead singer, has a great voice. I actually rediscovered them through one of the endings to Kaikan Phrase, Overhead Run. Get that song if you can. It's great. Also, get Inside the Pervert Mound and What's Up Mr. Jones by Zilch (Hide's English band). Pervert Mound is a remix of Hide's song Leather Face and Mr. Jones is a remix of X Japan's Drain. XD The lyrics aren't exactly...clean...but this is Hide, after all.
Umm..this is a long entry. I'm going to the doctor today about the month-long headache that I've had, and also my knee and ankle problems. Hopefully I can get one or both of them fixed so I don't have to walk around gimped all the time. Though I haven't been running in so long that I probably can't run anymore. ><
I should go change into my uniform. Ja ne! HP-ers, I'll have the next part of the HP fic up this afternoon. XD
