This is really random. But suddenly I'm thinking back to one of my favorite parts on L'Arc~en~Ciel's Heavenly Films, just a short 2 second clip of Hyde sitting on a sofa with this small smile on his face, staring at the camera with the most innocent look in the world, and saying softly, "Ah mou ikanakucha...aki ga kuru kara." I don't know why that has always stuck with me. Maybe because Natsu no Yuutsu was my favorite Laruku song forever and ever. But I was for some reason reminded of that today. For those of you who haven't heard, I finally got my RNLTD and EAD all set up. I have to go to tech school in Wichita Falls at Sheppard AFB, which will start on 3 Jun, so they pushed back my date for going to Yokota. I'll be arriving in Tokyo at the end of September. Why couldn't they have told me this two weeks ago? *grumble* I remember last summer, when it seemed like everything was ending, and I'm wondering if this summer will be like that. This summer will really be an ending - the last time for two years I'll be in the United States for any long period of time. I don't know why, but summer isn't the happy season everyone says it is, at least not for me. For me it just seems like a last desperate effort to ward off the chill of fall. Maybe Hyde feels the same way.

Today's my brother's birthday. I totally forgot. Uh...happy birthday if you read this. XD So I actually woke up on time today (yesterday?) for PT, but I seem to have passed on my sleeping sickness to Kelley, because SHE slept through her alarm, turned it off in her sleep, and missed PT this morning. Oops. I finally finished my English paper! This is a really boring entry. I REALLY need to change my layout...... If you all haven't heard Core of Soul's gorgeous song Tears to Rain, go get it NOW. I think it's my second favorite song of theirs now, after Photosynthesis. I need to translate the lyrics on here sometime. Fukiko is damn amazing.

I have slept through my alarm again for the third time in two weeks and for the second time on a PT morning. I seriously don't know what's wrong with me. I am going to get someone to call me every morning from now on so I WILL GET UP. Dammit I am seriously pissed off. Not going to PT, believe it or not, throws off my entire day. I feel so worthless and lazy. I need to change my layout. *kicks something*

So I haven't updated since last week Spring Break ^^;; *hides* It's been pretty busy around here lately and I've just been posting little random blurbs on LJ, so if you want to take a look at what's been happening this past week, go take a look at my LJ. Core of Soul was freaking awesome at SXSW last weekend. I STILL haven't begun that live report that I've been promising, but I'll get to it tonight, I swear. Other than that, I finished 2 panels on the computer lab and will start work on the third next weekend. Can't do it this weekend cause I'll be out all day to judge the Bowie High JROTC drill comp on Sat and then hw on Sun. It's been astonishingly good weather lately. Today it got a little hot (around 80 in the afternoon) but right now it is a balmy 70 degrees or so outside, with a nice breeze and is absolutely fantastic weather. I hope it stays. The bad weather of February was enough for me. Though it'll probably start getting really humid and hot soon.... And last but not least an important piece of news:

So it's Tuesday night (Wednesday morning?) and the middle of my spring break. Which isn't as nice and calm and fun as I would have liked. Had to go to Houston on Sunday/Monday to see the parents and get stuff, then drove back here on Monday. I had another killer headache from hell that afternoon, plus I was so freaking tired driving back to my apartment I almost fell asleep on the road. But I managed to stay awake and alive. Done with the second of three paintings that I had scheduled for this break. This one was a KC-135 refueling two F-16s on the far right hand wall of the lab. I spent about 2 hours today painting the wall blue. Yeah. -_- it was SO BORING. So...so far my spring break has been very boring and stressful. I STILL haven't even LOOKED at my Air Force paper. I have a feeling I will end up writing it all on Sunday and Monday. However, only one more day of boring and stress and then I get to put it all aside for three days when Ly comes and we go to SXSW! *cheer* (fly to you faster than the light) Yah. XD 0016 hours
Wow, it's the 9th already. It seems like yesterday March just started. Spring Break will be over in no time, I guess T-T On a good note, the far wall of the computer lab is pretty much complete. I want to go and put highlights on the planes so they'll show up better against the brown/green (the C-130s are flying through a ravine-type thingy so the background is pretty dark). I am going to Houston today (in like 5 minutes after I get off the computer XD) and can't decide if I want to come back Monday or Tuesday. If I come back Tuesday, I can get more done quicker on the lab. I also need to write my Air Force paper. Hmm...decisions. We'll see how things go. Have to change and go now. *waves* ja na

IT'S SPRING BREAK! Finally. I had the killer headache from hell but I went and took a shower and ate something and it seems to have abated. We'll see. I won't be here this week. I will be painting the computer lab. I might blog off and on when I'm taking a break, but other than that, don't expect me around. ^^ I skipped almost all my classes today (went and turned in my freaking sakubun which I stayed up till like 3 to do) and then went to buy paint. Hit about 3 places but they didn't have the huge buckets of colored paint so finally I ended up at Home Depot buying smaller cans. It was about $125 in total. You can bet I'll be submitting my reimbursement form to Kevin ASAP. I'm going to put on some painting clothes and go set up the lab. And of course, some time after Friday expect a Core of Soul live report. XD ja na

I'm listening to Final Fantasy music for the first time in half a year, almost, and damn, I'd forgotten how much of a musical genius Uematsu Nobuo really is. I should get the music for the newer games (after 8). I haven't played them, though. Anyone know if the music is any good? ...it's Uematsu. Disregard that. Everything he's ever written is good. XD For those of you who missed me online today, I spent the entire afternoon/evening sketching airplanes. I have five scenes done so far out of the 8 that I have planned for the lab. Here they are:
#1 Wright Brothers Flyer (left wall door side) The three I have left are 2 P-52s escorting a B-26 and C-47 (left wall middle) and an A-10 and B-52 (left wall far side). I'm not sure what I want to do for panel #3, which is the wall opposite the door. Maybe an Air Force symbol or something, or maybe just paint some clouds. I will be scanning the pictures in to make overheads from them, so I'll try to post them online for all of you to marvel at. XD XD Anyway, I probably won't be around too much tomorrow either...hopefully my designs will be approved so I can start buying supplies and stuff. I also need to do my sakubun which is due Friday. >.> Now I have to go to bed for PT.

You know, it's much more fun to blog when I have a layout I actually like looking at. It makes the whole experience much more worthwhile. That's my random thought of the day. So I looked at my bank account yesterday and realized that I have JUST ENOUGH money to squeeze me by for the next 2 months on rent and food and such. x_x which is not good for my spending money problem. I have been looking through all my stuff and deciding if I want to sell some of my CDs and manga on Ebay to get some money. I hardly read some of them anyway, and they're worth good cash. And I'm sure someone's going to want my old anime CDs that I don't listen to. >.> All my midterms and projects were last week, so I have nothing at all to do this week. Well I have my sakubun, but that's not really a big issue at the minute. It's due Friday. I'll do it Thursday. Going to hang out with NM on Friday...that'll be fun. XD I have been commissioned to paint the new cadet computer lab on the 2d floor of RAS, and so I've spent pretty much all evening today sketching different planes. Right now I think I want to paint the Wright Brothers Flyer on the far left side, and then work towards the right side getting steadily more modern. Definitely want a KC-10 refueling a couple of F-15s, and an AWACS. Also want a B-52 and, if possible, the Thunderbirds. And a B-1 bomber. Maybe a B-26, even though it's one of the ugliest aircraft known to man, it's what my flight was named after, so might as well pay it homage. XD Actually I'm trying to learn how to paint clouds. If anyone has any good tips, feel free to tell me. Have to go to bed now >.> Yasu. 2333 hours

Been meaning to change the layout all week but haven't gotten around to it. *stares at it* I don't think I've spent this much time on a layout since...well, Tetsu, about 6 layouts and 4 months ago. But it was kind of time for a layout that didn't suck. I was seriously beginning to doubt my webdesign creativity. XD For everyone who has been emailing me and not getting a response...uh...sorry. I'm lazy. x_x I'd give another excuse if there was one, but there really isn't other than I'm kind of lazy and don't check my account. I know I've gotten several emails over the past few weeks saying that people like my websites/blog design/etc so I'll say thank you right here. THANK YOU!!!!!!There.I have a Japanese test on Monday, but that's about it for things going on next week. Spring Break is just around the corner which means...NM, Lyra, SXSW, and CORE OF SOUL!!!! However, the bad thing about having no homework/tests is that this has been a very boring day. Though I've managed to get a lot of things done. I made a new layout, updated SnK, updated Shiroi Heya, and translated some more of Yasu's essay on their new album. Hopefully will have it done sometime next week >.> NM, we should go out sometime this week since you're in town. ^^ Everyone should get Core of Soul's new album, "Over the Time" TIME IS OVER. Though I don't claim to know why the title is all funky, I can attest to the quality of the music. It rocks. Fukiko rocks. Yeah. XD
