Yea rite. Anyway, this is gonna be the LONG entry I planned for yesterday. Hey, at least I'm getting it done =P Been quite a week, with holidays and all. Let's just take a quick review at the past week, as it was, though that view might be askewed as it was seen through my eyes. Friday: Was the day of annual dinner. Had half day off. YAY! Got off work at one, though was in terrible mess- too many things to finish. Brain quite addled. Rushed off to meet TJ, Nina & Haz at Giant, where we all had spaghetti and spoke openly (and very loudly) about gay porn. Met Yong at last. Didn't manage to talk much to him, as gay porn topic v. interesting. After that rushed off (again) to go home, but made quick stop at MPH warehouse. This was second time visiting the sale. Cannot resist. Heeee. =) Bought Harry Potter's PoA and jap language book. Am proud to say, spend only about 15 mins at sale. After all, had been there yesterday. Lots of money gone. Do not plan to visit again. Otherwise, house will be full of books that I though I wanted to read, but will not as easily distracted by computer, PS2 and dvds. When got home, had call from beloved other half, who wanted me to check email to see whether a PDF file created from a Linux PC would look the same on a Windows machine. Spent about 20 mins doing so. Mom was yelling. Had to go to hair dressor to get hair done. Was only 3.20 in afternoon. Thought Mom was over-exaggerating as only needed to be at dinner at 6.20pm. 3 hours is quite a bit of time. Anyways, went for shower. Went to do hair. Twas raining. Not good. Temporarily coloured hair and rain v. bad combination. Had to take extra care to not get hair wet. Omigosh, it was 5pm. Had planned to be at Hani's at that time. This is V. V. bad. Thinking that Mom maybe not so exaggerating after all. Hani is v. good make-up artist. Hani, if you decide not to go into mass comm, you could definitely start up your own beauty salon. I would come visit. =) By the time Hani finished make-up, I looked totally different. Especially with the various highlights in my hair. Many ppl didn't recognise me that nite, but I skip ahead of the story. Aaaaargh! Got home at 6.15. *screaming in head, a la the white rabbit in 'Alice in Wonderland* I'm LATE! I'M LATE! Was supposed to be at hotel between 6pm to 6.20pm. Highly unlikely that was going to happen. Dearest bf at home waiting for me. Hair & makeup complete, but unfortunately hadn't dressed up in selected annual dinner dress yet. My dad is more exitable than I am. Despite being late, am rather calm. Dad going berzerk though. Tells me to hurry up. "HURRY UP! HURRY HURRY HURRY! You're late!!!" Am well aware of lack of punctuality. Promptly goes to change. Bf v. good driver. Got there about 6.40pm. Not so late after all. No guests there yet. VIPs never come this early either. Was v. bored. Somehow, unable to connect with colleagues. We speak on different frequencies. Me not so interested in their topics, and I certainly don't want to entertain them with things I fancy. Am quite sure they'd think I'm crazy if they knew about my slash affinity. There's nothing wrong with slash, is there? *blink, blink* Was v. bored during the dinner. Pulled out LYBC to read several times. SMS-ed bf to whine. V. V. bored. He was such a darling, he came to dinner. Surprised me at dinner by suddenly showing up behind me. Twas v. glad as rescued from boredom. Also rescued from pervert sitting by my side. All in all, v. happy. Must say, hair, make-up and dress big success. Colleagues complimenting on how wonderful I looked. Was nominated as one of the best dressed. Had to do catwalk on stage, which according to bf, was good. But didn't win. Pervert emcee was picking on me. Hate pervert MC dressed as Austin Powers. Ugh. Evil pervert. Am glad will never have to see him again. Bleh. All in all, was a pretty good annual dinner. I think I've talked tons about it. Shall stop talking about dinner here. Lets move on to: Saturday: Woke up at 11.10. V. sleepy as slept late last nite. Think I was watching some DVD. Planned to sleep, but got hooked to the anime. Was supposed to meet friend at noon. Skipped brekkie (who needs brekkie at such an hour?!) and got to Pyramid at noon sharp. Whew! He was late though, so I did a little browsing at MPH. Friend (CH) arrived a short while later and we had lunch at Daves Deli. CH v. nice and belanja-ed me spaghetti. Yup, still in spaghetti phase. Walked around the complex after that, as was too full to have ice-cream immediately. Later bought him yummy ice-cream as repayment for lunch. Eeevil CH tempted me to go to KL. Ooooh, KL.... planned to go to get MP3s and software, but didn't know when. Gave into temptation. Dearest bf to pick me up later from KL. Must have MP3s. Must have software. CH really evil as on bus, he decided not to go to Low Yat after all. Not allow him to ditch me on trip, so dragged him along. It was his idea anyway! Bus hot. Haven't taken public transport in ages. Realised that I don't miss public transport. Bf's car so much nicer, plus have him as driver. =) CH did leave abt 4, so I had over an hour to do my shopping in KL. Twas quite nice to shop by myself, as I'm quite fickle. Roamed for store to store. Saw some stuff I wanted, but kept wandering, as wanted to get all software at one place. Finally, found 1 store that had MORE than what I was looking for. My proudest purchase? Full set of Card Captor Sakura scanlations! WHEEEEE! Also bought tons of software (which I don't seem to be using today), Slayer OVAs and some PS2 games. A fruitful day indeed. Wallet feeling a little light though. Shall control spending from today onwards. Met bf about 5.45pm and proceeded to go to a quieter place for dinner. =) Car air-con v. good. Was so hot and sweaty from all that shopping. Sunday: Ah, nice lazy Sunday. A day where I did practically nothing but read 6 volumes of my CCS manga all at once. WHEEEEE! Monday:All Monday's are evil. Suspect evil energy harbouring in each and every Monday I've been through. With exception of Mondays' which are public holidays. So, good does triumph over evil, though not very often. Had to wake up at obscene hour to get to work. Work tiring. Can't remember what I did exactly. It's all so fuzzy now... Tuesday: Perfect, Blissful Tuesday, which also happens to be holiday. Yay! Went DVD shopping with bf. He bought a DVD player! Hurray! Now I can watch DVDs if I happen to drop by his place. Wonderful. He also bought 2 versions of Mandy Moore's movie 'A Walk to Remember'. Darling other half absolutely obsessed with movie. V. cute. Bf v. cute with obsession. At the moment, he has 3 copys of 'A Walk to Remember'. can't help but think that this may be part of my influence... Wednesday & Thursday: I'm getting really tired of typing. Can you tell? This entry has taken me all morning till now. Was also interrupted by work. Nothing of much interest happened. Let's just skip all the boring parts. But I did get the most humorous suggestion from a teacher, who wanted to get a Panasonic notebook so she could match her Panasonic printer. Simply weird. And I laughed at her. So, bad me. V. sleepy and tired. Have no idea why to drained. Must be the work of some energy sucking demon out there. Will vanquish demon, when I'm refreshed. Ahahahaha. Friday, March 7, 200303:12 p.m.
Been a real busy day. I have to fill in for my other colleague who is on leave at the moment. It's quite tiring having two duties at once. All worn out now... Actually planned to write in my blog today. Planned to write tons. OK, that's exaggerating it a little. I wanted to write abt the stuff that happened in the past week. Ah well, there's always tomorrow. That suspiciously sounds like the same line I use when thinking about cleaning my room. Speaking of which, I also planned to clean my room today. Can't remember the last time I cleaned it... Was that 6 months ago? Or more? *shudder* On the plus side, I did manage to get one thing done. I put up the links to all my fellow bloggers. Go me! =) Uh guys, if I forgot to include anyone's links, just let me know via the mailing list, OK? Thursday, March 6, 200305:35 p.m.
Sleepy. It's Thursday already, and I can hardly wait for tomorrow. Have annual dinner tomorrow. But MORE importantly, get to go home EARLY tomorrow. Yay, I'm planning to leave at lunch time. I get to go back earlier than the rest of the staff (who'll all be going home at 4) cause I have reception duty for this dinner. Granted that reception duty is never fun, at least I get to go back and rest a little. Will also have to go do makeup before the event. Am also planning to bring little yellow collection of slash (otherwise known as Little Yellow Book of Corruption - LYBC) to dinner. Hope I do not snicker uncontrollably at the reception table. I can't wait for the public holidays. Oh, why can't it be a holiday today?! Thursday, February 27, 200309:08 a.m.
Sigh, I'm looking at my pretties. Yes, they're the two be-yoo-tiful males at the top of this page. My darling Subaru and Seishirou. I love 'em both! WARNING. SPOILERS FOR CLAMP X AND TOKYO BABYLON! This entry is just a short one, mainly on the picture above. I modified it from a wallpaper I got in the internet... somewhere. Can't really remember now, cause I got it quite sometime ago. Anyways, this is the manga scene, of CLAMP X1999, during the last battle between the two. Their story is really sad, something along the lines of Romeo and Juliet. Their destiny was already predetermined, and they would never be together. In the pictures above, you see a shocked Subaru, because he was supposed to die. In the final battle, Seishirou punches his fist through Subaru's chest. But due to a twist of fate (and a curse by Subaru's late sister who was also killed by Seishirou), the two switched places. Subaru found his arm through Sei-chan's heart. Sei-chan knew this would happen, because Subaru's sister, Hokuto, had already told him about the curse. In a way, Sei-chan sacrifced himself, so that Subaru could live. That's how I see it. Very very sad. I was on the verge of tears watching the anime. As Sei-chan's life falters, he leans towards Subaru's ear and whispers something no one else can hear. I believe he was confessing his true feelings *waaaah, feeling sad already!*. You can see the shock and tears streaming down Subaru's cheeks after the 'confession'. *sniff. sob* Sigh, so depressing, but still, I'm hooked on it. I need more Tokyo Babylon. Need more X1999! Must find, MUST FIND more! Yes, I'm obsessed and I know it. Tuesday, February 25, 200303:38 p.m.
Morning again. Today I'm gonna upload the new look. Yes I am. But before that, a quizzie! =) ![]() You're the smirk,a frown-smile hybrid that's a little bit cocky and usually associated with evil or arrogant, but attractive people. You probably just don't give a damn, but it's everyone else's fault if you don't because you're too awesome to have any real faults. What Kind of Smile are You? brought to you by Quizilla Tuesday, February 25, 2003 08:55 a.m.
Been reading a lot lately. Particularly slash, though not all slash. Have been INSPIRED! Must change layout! Must dedicate site to Subaru/Seishirou (my current darlings!) So sorry, Lestat. But don't worry, I'll change it back after my obsession is over. =) Monday, February 24, 200303:39 p.m. ">
