random - 02:37 a.m.
Just recently, I had this fleeting thought of making a new layout again. I know it's early, since my habit for the past 2 years was to change layout only during new year. But I guess it is the sudden emptyness of having no school again that brought that thought on. I haven't given it much chewing though, since I haven't been doing anything interesting lately, not that I ever do... >.> But yea, I have no idea what could be done for a new layout right now. Hehe :P
Now that exams are over, I have a new list of things to think/worry about again. On top of that list is of course marks, which I can't do anything about but wait. (I hope I pass. I hope I pass. I hope I pass... ... >_<) Then,
- email group members about the design project QUICK! and SOON!
- find a job, or find a course for summer school.
- clean my room!!
and finally, the thing that I've been doing since eon ago, i.e., the project that never ends:
- organize my computer and burn. _-_
That's about it. But I should really give the design project stuffs some serious thoughts soon, and make a decision. Coz we've chewed on it for quite a while, and I don't want to be too late to sign up for a project....... *worries* But of course, all this is only possible if I pass....... *sigh* *crosses fingers and pray...*

rant -

Since today's OS exam was majorly horrible T_T, I'm doing some denying of school to postpone my start of study for Friday's exam.
So what did I do instead? I went and read my ML mail, which I haven't done since... last summer. O_O And blah. It just re-irritates me with the posts again. Asking for scans, one-liners, not removing looong previous posts when replying, etc etc. ARGH! >_< Are these people blind? They are sent the group's rule/faq page as they join, why don't they take a moment to read it and actually FOLLOW it! -_-;
I guess I'm just so so so fed up with people asking for scans like this: "Please please [insert scanner's name here]! I need it or I'll die from it!" When I saw that, I was like... Really huh, you can actually DIE from not being able to read the scan TODAY???????? WTF? WTH? _-_ I very very rarely swear, people who know me know this, but moments like this really try on my patiences. I want scans too, and I do ask for them sometimes, but I don't go shamelessly begging for it like that. There is such a thing as polite request after all. Granted, there is also such type of people called newbie, and they are (most of them) prone to behave wrongly. I just wish they would read the rules and not just blindly ask and get bitten and say sorry later.
Anyway, guess this got brought on by me also having read something that sort of ticked me off. Which is, people calling that manga "Antique" s-a, or even worse, y. Karin, remember how I kept stressing that it is NOT BL???? _-_ (If you don't remember, it's that manga where they make cakes and pastries and stuff, kinda like a cake/bakery shop, with 4 guys.) Just because a character in there is gay and that there are some questionable scenes for comic relief, doesn't automatically mark this as BL! -_-; I think, the most correct way to classify this manga would be a shoujo with a slight s-a undertone. The furthest I can go and agree with is slight s-a. But anyway, enough of this.
Here ends my rant today. I know I probably said all those before, but I just had to get it out again. Don't mind me. OH! Almost forgot, I got myself an oekaki board! Haven't drawn in it yet, but will probably start practicing after exams. ^^; Hope I'll do okay in my last exam, friday. *wishful*

new manga! -

I should be studying, so this will be short.
Sheena, I've discovered a new manga that you may like. It's called "Emma". It's also a new anime this season. So you can go find it for download to see the story. Will talk more about this later maybe. So far, my verdict (after vol.1) is: this is so cute and sweet! :) And yes! Finally a new shoujo after so many BLs :P.... site: here

kuu is obviously a creature born sometime ago.
Exact date of creation will forever remain unknown for the unknowing.
kuu itself deems this unnecessary information for the prying public.
It does have a gender, but that is not necessary to know as well.
What this writer can tell you is, it has an alter ego who works for CocaCola over
here.
Its nature is rather mean, but does pretend to be nice most of the time.
It is made of water, is blue, and has orange spots, just like its alter ego.
Oh, it's also short and fat with a big head.
Is it smart? No, but it'd like to be.
As told in the space before this, it likes colours and pretty things, but dislikes school and mess.
Current express priorities are to clean its room and do well in school, just like all responsible beings around here.

Not a very well known manga, but the mangaka is better known among English manga fandom for her previous manga,
a 8 volume series called
Kiss. There is an excellent fansite over

dedicated to her works.
The guy above has a nickname, Wanichin, which roughly means alligator-chin. Though this picture probably doesn't
do it justice, I do think this guy is pretty hot, by manga standard. :D It's the way he is drawn! *o*
He's cool and a bit of an outcast in the dorm he stays in (because almost everyone in the dorm are jealous that
he's so much cooler than them). They either (try to :P) taunt him or avoid him altogether.
But he's actually a good person who just doesn't care to correct how others see him. :P Anyway, he's hot! *.*
Bijo ga Yajuu is currently running at
LaLa monthly magazine from Hakusensha.
(But it looks to be ending soon; there is a climax on the LaLa Feb 2005 issue.
Although, the "last chapter" words doesn't appear on the preview blurb.)
So far, it is published up to vol.4 in Japanese, and vol.3 in Chinese.
