-> A lot of people have an ipod. A lot, as in, like 8 out of 10 pictures (bags) posted has an ipod in it.
Conclusion? Ipod is really popular. :O And, people are rich. :D

warning to karin: don't read the following if you don't want to, since it's about school (in particular, it's my whine about complexity quiz today).
waaaa ;_; that quiz was much much harder than I thought. I couldn't do page 1, couldn't do page 3, and am not sure of page 2. There's only 3 pages for the quiz. :X I hope I'll get close to a pass. Not even hoping to pass, coz I doubt that's possible with what I've written..... ;_; boo.... now off i go to do better in osA3, complexityA3, and hardwarelab3c.

progress and non-progress -
10:48 p.m.
Still in the process of updating my laptop. Turns out the power problem was indeed due a software fault/error. So, I basically just re-installed windows, and am now reloading everything back in. I won't have time to do anything more tonight, since I have a quiz tomorrow and I haven't a clue how to go about studying as of this moment. -_- (sarcastic: yay!) Anyway, am glad that I don't have to bring the comp back to the company to fix. I will just need to go thru the tedious task of installing all those windows update.... Soo not looking forward to that.
Networks - still failing the quizzes, don't think I passed the last quiz at all. =X And I have NO idea what our status for project 2 is. Last I heard, there was nothing much working... So yes, I will most likely not be going into the exam with a passing grade. :S
OS - going worse and worse: our mark for A2 was just a barely pass in the code review, but I just received an email saying there was a mistake in our mark assigning and that we may have gotten more marks than we deserved... -_- i feel ill just thinking about this... and it's not like we're likely to be able to get the bonus for A3... :X So... the future looks meek. :X

Recent chick flick consumed: Sweet Home Alabama
Verdict: I quite like it too! Sorta like Win a date with Ted Hamilton, nice movie. :D My mom likes it too :D Reason I watch it was because I read somewhere that there's a poll on the most romantic moment in a movie. I think it is some British internet or newspaper poll. Anyway, they listed a kiss in this movie at one of the top spots. So I'm naturally curious. :D Gives me an excuse to go find it in the library, and kinda reminded me that I wanted to see it when it was out in theatres so long ago. XD
Yea, I know, you all must be rolling your eyes. XD But oh well. Hehe. It's a sweet movie. And I quite like the lightning metaphor used in there. They use it to tie the beginning and the end of the movie together, and I find it quite well done that way. Some of it is pretty funny too. Everyone's portrayal is done in such a way that you can't dislike them, so, I just couldn't find anything dislikable about this movie. :D Hehe. (well, maybe some of the music/soundtrackts, but I tried not to pay too much attention to them ^^;)
And what's a fun movie?
Shall We Dance? (the original Japanese version) - It's hilarious! XD I have yet to watch the English version, and I'm not in a hurry to. Because I don't think they can top the atmosphere and funny-ness of the original film.

my eyes! >_< must be due to lack of sleep the day before, my eyes's been not acting at it's usually shapeness at this time of night. (the previous sentence prolly doesn't make sense, but it does to me.) and also prolly due to me reading something on compy this afternoon while i was tired enough to want to take a nap (but can't, due to assignment due tomorrow that i hadn't started yet.) so now that i'm doing the assignment, my eyes are suffering coz i will have to stay up really really very late to finish it. :/ maybe i need to cry a bit so my eyes won't feel so dry. but where do i find stuffs to make me cry on order? :T eyedrops would prolly be a better solution right now.... *weak smile*

OK, this message is mostly just to karin, remember I said I should at least get 60 in the os midterm? well, i didn't. :/ i didn't get above 60, but the opposite. :T this goes to prove i'm still as dumb as i think i am. i don't even want to know how i fare in the complexity midterm. wait, i do want to know, i'm just afraid of how ugly it'll look.... ack ack ack T_T and tomorrow's? double those acks(+ the teary face) i just uttered.... T_T

Today's midterm didn't go well. I hope I can pass. That's what I wish for.... The only thing I can do right now is to prepare really well for the midterm on Monday (which is of the course I failed last year). :T

Oh yeah. I watched 'Win a Date with Ted Hamilton' and it was actually pretty good. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, since it pretty much billed itself as a teen romance-comedy, which I usually don't give a care for. :P But I like this one. :)

2 more chapters till the end of KareKano!! The latest chapter on LaLa will be the 100th chapter! On Hakusensha's website, they have a little circle with a coloured chibi Yukino circled. It looks so cute! Makes me want to get my hands on a scan of the cover for this chapter, since it is the 100th chapter and it'll be ending in 2 chapters! ^^; Plus it's so rare to see coloured chibi KareKano pics these days. ^^;

kuu is obviously a creature born sometime ago.
Exact date of creation will forever remain unknown for the unknowing.
kuu itself deems this unnecessary information for the prying public.
It does have a gender, but that is not necessary to know as well.
What this writer can tell you is, it has an alter ego who works for CocaCola over
here.
Its nature is rather mean, but does pretend to be nice most of the time.
It is made of water, is blue, and has orange spots, just like its alter ego.
Oh, it's also short and fat with a big head.
Is it smart? No, but it'd like to be.
As told in the space before this, it likes colours and pretty things, but dislikes school and mess.
Current express priorities are to clean its room and do well in school, just like all responsible beings around here.

Not a very well known manga, but the mangaka is better known among English manga fandom for her previous manga,
a 8 volume series called
Kiss. There is an excellent fansite over

The guy above has a nickname, Wanichin, which roughly means alligator-chin. Though this picture probably doesn't
do it justice, I do think this guy is pretty hot, by manga standard. :D It's the way he is drawn! *o*
He's cool and a bit of an outcast in the dorm he stays in (because almost everyone in the dorm are jealous that
he's so much cooler than them). They either (try to :P) taunt him or avoid him altogether.
But he's actually a good person who just doesn't care to correct how others see him. :P Anyway, he's hot! *.*
Bijo ga Yajuu is currently running at
LaLa monthly magazine from Hakusensha.
(But it looks to be ending soon; there is a climax on the LaLa Feb 2005 issue.
