T_T - 12:12 a.m.

AHHHhhhh! I have a midterm tuesday, a midterm thursday, none of which I have started studying for yet. B/c I have assignments (note the 's') due tomorrow that I haven't finished yet.) *scared scared scared*

I just got back one midterm, and I did pretty bad, quite worse than I thought. And since I'm already repeating, I should know the stuffs. But, apparently, I don't, judging by my marks. -_-;

Saturday was not a good day for me. First, there was the interview thing, totally didn't go well, coz I'm a really timid and shy person, I totally cannot open up and be a leader like others, and they want those kind of people. :x Needness to say, I highly doubt I'll be called back for 2nd round. After that, I went to the design centre to work on my hardware lab. I saw G(my partner in networks) and was informed that hardware midterm marks were out. When I saw my mark, I kinda just froze and ... felt sick. :( Then, I proceeded to do my lab, which I could not find a computer for, so I ended up just blindly coding without testing. Then, during my trip home on the subway, I realize I left my glasses in the design centre. -_-;; (Good thing it was still there when I went back this morning.) After that, I had to stand in the cold waiting a looong time for the bus to come, so I could go home. I'm lucky that I'm not sick right now, since my jacket was pretty flimsy, translation: not warm. -_-; Before I went home, I went to KFC to buy some fries with gravy coz I was really hungry. After I ate them, I started to feel sick and had to use the bathroom. -_-; And then sometime during night, while I was sleeping deeply, I felt sick again, and that woke me up. Had to use the bathroom AGAIN. -_-; Luckily, I could go back to sleep after that. ARGH. I've never had such a bad day in my entire "remembered" life. The interview and midterm are still eating me up. They're again proof of my inadequacy at things I try to be good at (or to just do!), but ended up failing anyway. :X

I still have a lot of things to do by tomorrow morning 9am, and I'm not even half done them. -_-; Hopefully I'll finish and not fall behind again. What would really help right now would be more time and energy and brain-working-ness. Oh! And an easy do-able midterm on Tuesday and Thursday. ;_;

Nothing much to say. Only that I screwed up the quiz today AGAIN. ;_; Why did it have to have NOTHING to do with the homework? And I stayed up doing them so I could be prepared. ;_; Turns out, I think, you can just use the Shannon formula to calculate, but nooo, since I didn't read the book, I didn't know where to find that formula in the book, (plus I didn't want to waste time looking for it in the index. I should have thou. Argh >_<) all the while I was itching to look at the slides, since I KNOW where that is in there.... ;_; I'll be lucky, extremely lucky, if I can get a 5/10 in this one. :'(

movie - 09:24 p.m.

「誰も知らない」, Romaji: Dare mo Shiranai, English: Nobody Knows. Another movie that I want to watch. Don't think this will ever air on TV, so if I want to watch it, I'll either have to rent it if/when it comes out, or go to the theatre. It's only showing in this theatre called Cumberland, which I've noticed to always show those "art house" films. I have no idea where it is. :T But I have a feeling it's kind of far. So, I most likely will just wait until it comes out.

I'm intrigued by the story. Sometimes, besides chick flicks, I like watching serious films too, like the movie "Hotel Rwanda". The things they deal with in the movie(s), are things that I wouldn't normally see around me. I guess, being so out in touch with the world most of the time, I want to at least be a little "concerned" sometimes. Also, in a way, I need to remind myself that there are many others more unfortunate than me, so I don't go wallow in self-pity. :P

There goes my attempt at a serious post. Didn't work quite well, but oh well. ^^;;

you got it!!!! *_* I'm so jealous! haha. and how was it? you like? you like? :D I wish I can find it in Chapters, so I can just read it on the spot. Don't wanna buy just in case family would wonder. Since, if I were to buy it, I would have to buy it online (b/c I can't find it offline like you), and then the book would be shipped home addressed to my bro, and then he'll be wondering... Hehe. Can't risk that. :P

Well, today is 初五, so, not to be too late for this, 祝大家新年快楽,身體健康,來年心想事成,學業進歩! o(__)o 最後,當然少不了恭喜發財! hehe. And in Japanese: 明けましておめでとうございます。

I got a few red pockets, don't know how much is in there, since I don't have a habit of opening and counting them. :P But I like the envelope my aunt gave it in, it smells kind of nice, like incense wood from a temple. :P And the design on it is quite nice too. :D

Hmm, what else what else.. Reading week has just started, and I'm enjoying it right now. There's this ece club logo design thing I got in the email, and I thought I may want to try that, so I spent last night thinking up a logo. And then I slowly realized, it's so hard to think of something simple and unique and elegant! >_< I try going to some japanese design site to get inspirations, but meh, didn't really help, coz their designs are so.. professionally looking, and mine is just... bleh. I really admire those people who design for a living. I wish I have such creative talent. ^_^;;

And then I started knitting today, coz mommy got new knitting needles. :D It was more like I talked her into buying it. :P Not that she didn't want to, but I was like, I saw this woman knitting a scarf on the subway and these needles look similar to those that the woman was using, so maybe we should get one of those, since they're shorter and seem easier to loop around and such. After using them just now, I do think they're easier to use than the long ones before, and I like that they're not hindering my moment, and I can bring the scarf closer to me so my arms are more comfortable when I knit.

let's see, what else.. ah. yes. Reading week is also Homework Catch-up week, so my mission this week is to catch up on all the homework that I haven't done, and prepare for all the upcoming midterms, assignments, labs, and quizzes. Not looking forward to that muchly, but I gotta do what I gotta do. :/ Let's see how much I can get done this week. :D

Tomorrow is what, fmm reunion day? haha. I'm really sorry I can't go. I wanna meet all those people too, to see how everyone's doing (just as long as they don't discuss or ask about me! :P). But I can't miss Japanese class... *sigh* Why can't it be on another day? >_< I know I'm just being difficult. :P Oh well, there's another meeting on tuesday eh? Don't really know the details on that yet. Justin didn't get back to me on that. But I'm still open tues to fri! XP There's going to be freezing rain tomorrow thou, so be careful on the road. Am sort of worry about tomorrow night when mommy would come and pick me up after school, hope the weather AND road condition would be nice for driving.

CD - 12:08 a.m.

If anyone wants to make me own some actual CDs... :P You can buy me or remind me to buy Rod Stewart's Greatest American Songbook series.... :p Especially the 3rd one, since I can't get a hold of it in the library.

I already placed a hold on Songbook I and II, partly for my mom, but also for me, coz there's something about those songs, very urm.. classic-ish. They're definitely songs not of this era. People just don't write songs like that anymore. ^^;;

Anyway, sample of Stardust... (Songbook III) is here on Amazon.

Remember that I said "What A Wonderful World" was stuck in my head on Friday? That's b/c I heard a newer version, more like a new rendition of it on the radio on my ride to the station. Which, I suspect, is from the 3rd songbook, so I want the CD to hear it. :P

Someone says kuu?

kuu is obviously a creature born sometime ago. Exact date of creation will forever remain unknown for the unknowing. kuu itself deems this unnecessary information for the prying public. It does have a gender, but that is not necessary to know as well.

What this writer can tell you is, it has an alter ego who works for CocaCola over here. Its nature is rather mean, but does pretend to be nice most of the time. It is made of water, is blue, and has orange spots, just like its alter ego. Oh, it's also short and fat with a big head.

Is it smart? No, but it'd like to be. As told in the space before this, it likes colours and pretty things, but dislikes school and mess. Current express priorities are to clean its room and do well in school, just like all responsible beings around here.
