food? // 07:28 p.m.
these 2 [EDIT: only 1 now] waffle makers are the cutest things! i wonder if there's any for sale across the border here. i want either one of them, since they cost the same anyway. but the 30$US price tag are a bit much to me, one who's always stingy and tight with money. and! that amount is already reduced, regular price is 59$US!! i would never ever buy them on their regular price (coz that's so not worth it). maybe if i come across lots of $$, i'd give that a thought.
i was hungry, so i grabbed a tube of already half eaten pringles from the shelf. it has a flavour that i've never tried before. Spicy Cajun. i usually just come across bbq, so when i saw this flavour back in the summer, i snapped it up quick to try. and now that i finally taste it, i recommend! it tastes similarly like the calbee chips i very very rarely get to eat when i was small, so i absolutely dig this flavour of pringles! :) it's not good to eat too much thou, but i think it'd be good to have it occasionally, just for reminiscences' sake. :)
and with that, i gotta go drink some h2o....

piano scores of some music // 05:40 p.m.
i'm in serious need of more storage boxes. plus a book case probably. and space to put them. >_< i spent near an afternoon organizing just a desk that is full of junk i no longer use. my hands are all scratchy and dry from the dust. which reminds me that i do need lotion and cream too. everything just collects lots of dust in my room, i don't know why. >_< now that i hope i'm done that desk, i'll have to find time to fix those under the desk, and beside the desk. i'll also need to vacuum. after that, comes another corner of the room, which needs pretty much the same treatment. T_T so yep, i'm in serious need of storage boxes and storage spaces, and cleaning supplies.
i think i really like piano music. am currently listening to some old tapes recorded off the radio, probably recorded before i was born, or when i was still a really small kid. listening to these musics played by piano is really quite enjoyable. :) i guess you can say they are the musics i grew up in. :P and another indication that i like piano musics, is my recent listening to Pachelbel's Canon. i don't think i've mentioned this to anyone but my bro, but i really don't like that piece all that much. i suppose i got sick of it after hearing it too much. but recently, i came across it again and i guess having it played by piano helped. and i find that i don't mind listening to it as much, as long as it doesn't come up too often.
new layout is done, will unveil in new year. :) more thoughts on that when new layout appears.
also, wish list will be revised, and so will some other lists, but not by too much.
Boxing Day:
that was yesterday. :) how's everyone's bargain hunting? I went out but didn't really get anything. the mall was so crowded that it made me not want to go in to look. i ended up just getting something i need, and was cheap on sale due to boxing week sales. and i got some little thing from the body shop, which costed very little. in total, i'd say i spent somewhere around 10$ or so. haha. there was such madness in the mall, so many people, and lineups. poor sale people who had to tidy up everything at the end of the day. for the first time in recent years, there's nothing i want from future shop or best buy, so i didn't go to the former, and didn't bother to line up in the cold for the latter. although, in truth, someone in the family was/is interested in a digicam, but it wasn't something that we felt we really really want, so we were going about it(and boxing day) with a pretty lax attitude. anyway, i'm still happy with the stuffs i bought with those 10$. and am glad that we will have no big holiday+boxing_day bills to pay come january. whee~

// 01:48 p.m.
HK international mail only costs $3 and here in Canada, international mail costs $1.40. T_T Why is canadian mail so expensive? >_< That's like double of what one pays in HK. :T While I'm at it, the normal letter mail to the US is also pretty high. When I was writing Christmas cards, I was like, it was only 50something cents to the US a year or 2 ago, but now it costs 80cents. T_T With these prices, ppl are going to mail less and less. It's a vicious cycle I think. :(
On a somewhat related note, my parcel finally came! after 3 weeks. :D I've only had one previous experience with this company, and my parcel at that time came in 2 weeks. So I was wondering why it took so long this time, since the cost of the goods inside is much lesser than last time. When I finally got the package, I saw a hole on the bag and I knew. It must have went into custom and went through some checking before reaching me. :T My suspicion was further confirmed when I looked at the bag more closely this morning. I saw a stamped "Released-Custom Vancouver, BC." on the front of my bag. My theory is that since it's Christmas, they are being extra careful with all parcels, and wanted to check (and tax!) all items when neccesary. :T So, I guess, to show that they did do some work (ie: checked my package), they poke a hole in the bag. :T Hence, I'm again guessing, the 1 extra week wait for the parcel to reach me, because it was being processed in custom.
Oh well, at least the books inside reached me just fine... :D And I'm glad to have the final volumes of Hanakimi and Koucha Ouji in my hands. :D I already skimmed through them once last night, and will give them a thorough read soon.
Which brings me to my next point: I can't buy any BL until I can live on my own. :P Coz when something comes in a parcel, someone in the family would bound to be curious and want to know what I ordered. :D It's always been books, jp comic books in fact. So it's not like my family can read them, but I still perfer to buy things that are pretty wholesome. :E

Mirage of Blaze // 01:23 a.m.
@_@ Wow, just finished reading some Mirage of Blaze novel spoilers. This story is really complicated. Hence this face ->@_@
Makes me want to read the novels thou, if only they were translated in chinese, but I don't think they are. My jp comprehension level is not even enough to read simple shoujo manga magazine. It'll be light years before I can understand japanese novels like I can for chinese novels. Not to mention the fact that there are 40 novels in the series, with some side stories novels and mangas as well. @_@ *dizzy* That's it, I really need to work harder on Japanese!
But yea, I read the spoilers for the ending too, which is urm... not a happy one, but it was an acceptable end I suppose. Because I don't, more like can't, follow the series due to my baby japanese, I don't know of everything that's gone on in the novels before. So, to me, the ending doesn't have as much of an impact as to those loyal followers who had followed the series throughout the span of 14 years. x_x I guess, if I were one of them, I would cry along with them as well, since it doesn't take a lot from a book to make me cry. --;;;;;
But for now, I'll stick to my manga reading. Those are easier in comparison. :P

Winter // 02:00 p.m.
Of all the days that I could've choosen to bring my laptop, I chose today! --;; Today! The first day of a noticeable sign of winter, ie: our very first big snowfall of this time of the year. And the day that the TTC (and the city) has to be NOT ready for the snowfall, thus making me wait more than 1/2 hour in the cold for the bus. And when I did get on the bus, I had to stand all the way to Finch save for the last few stops.
I suppose I probably have it better than most people, since it wasn't extremely cold with wind piercing you left and right... but still... >_< I like winter, and snow, but when it inconveniences me, and other people, I don't like. :T
If I have complained to you before, then you would've understand how I don't like my bag to be heavy. And having a laptop in there is a burden for my back. Today, I had to stand on the crowded bus, with the laptop sticking to my back, for the long bus ride to Finch. I felt really uncomfortable with that weight on my shoulder. It doesn't help that my neck is still sore from bad sleeping posture. ;_; And that one of my arms is sored from carrying heavy books. T_T
All in all, I should've just left it at home and not bring it. The reason I brought it was I thought since it's exam season, everyone is going to be studying and I would probably not want to be in the library to use the net (coz of the really bad BO that always come with such times). So basically, minus the weather, I felt like today would be an okay day to bring the lappie. But, I didn't account for the TTC buses to be so unreliable on a normal winter snow day like this. -_-;; The buses came within an hour of each other, when normally they would've come in much faster frequency. -_-++
Anyway, rant done. I'm just tired from carrying a heavy bag around in bad weather. I guess I should be fortunate (or not? since it's not something to be proud of when you're out of school b/c of the reason that I'm out of school) that I don't have an exam to go to today. I can't imagine, having an exam on today and having to rush to school and be anxious and scared because one's not ready and is in good probability of being late for said exam. :(
Okay, I'm really done. Gotta go draft/write some emails...

// 01:52 a.m.
I was updating Firefox, and upon finishing the installation, it asked whether if I wanted to import old bookmarks, histories, password, etc from different browsers on my compy.
So there I was, all I could stare at was the IE option, and since I didn't want to import anything from IE, I choose the don't import anything option and off I went. Only after that did I realize, there was another option about importing from old versions of Firefox. And then I was like.. -__- that was stupid. :x
So now I have to rebuild my bookmarks from my old firefox, without knowing/remembering what was on there... *sigh* :x Teaches me to read things properly next time before clicking the all-too-final 'OK'. :T
And I can no longer use my old theme, since it doesn't have a firefox1.0 version. :x It took me awhile to find another that is tolerable. :T I still don't really like it but hopefully it'll grow on me in due time. I can't seem to find much decent themes for this new firefox. oh well...
One good thing thou, is that I finally installed my first browser extension. :3 Which is actually doing something I want, even thou the info for the extension didn't mention this function. :3 I maybe adding more extensions later, but for now i'll try to get used to this one first.

random and not so random // 05:30 p.m.
So I was sleeping just now, more like a long nap, to catch up on sleep. and then, upon the moment of waking up, I saw this blurry thing crawling on the wall from near the window. And I was like hmm, what could that thing be? A spider? or some onther thing? And then, as soon as I wanted to get out of the warm comfort of my ball(bed) to investigate (ie: find my glasses), the thing drops from the wall. o.o; So, thus brings my question, is it really a spider? coz it was VERY blurry to me, it looked kinda long-ish, and was moving really fast. Then, out of the blue, it just fell. And now I know there is this crawling thing near one of my tables. -_-; Which brings me to the point: I really need to clean my room. -_- Maybe it is finally time to outgrow the MD happy meal boxes, KFC Star Wars Pepsi Paper Cups, home made paper boxes, etc and start cleaning and replacing and re-orgranizing. Like maybe put everything into one plastic storage box. Hmm, now that I think about it, I really should do that. I just don't know when I will do it and finish it, but that's what I will do to that corner of my room.
now that that's covered, I just want to mention that the aforementioned KareKano next arc, will turn out to be the FINAL!! arc of the manga. LaLa site has a little blurb about it. From what I can guess and understand, the arc is about the big bomb(news) of Arima and Yukino. Which, I assume, is about how ppl are going to react to their news. I won't say what the big news is, just in case ppl haven't been up to date with it, but it is pretty life altering. So, the final arc will begin in the Jan 05 LaLa. It's not the final chapter, just the final arc, so no need to take out tissues or dancing pompoms to rejoice, whichever way you feel for this manga. ^^; I'm looking forward to it, coz I want to see how they'll turn out, and most of all, I want to see them happy. ^_^ The only thing that will really add to the "nicely wrapped up" feel is an inclusion of Asapin's story. Maybe it'll be a side story or something, but.. don't know.. Just really want to see his story, that's all. ^^; He's like the only one whose story/background/demon/etc hasn't been dealt with yet, and I want to know more about this character. It'll be good to know he's happy too. :) Well, who knows, maybe sensei will talk about him in the final arc to give him closure. ^^; Anyway, I'm genuinely looking forward to the new arc. :)
More about LaLa, the new issue (ie: Jan 05) will have a Ouran High School Host Club desktop calendar! *w* A first for LaLa. Ahh~ I so want it. For both its practical reason, as well as b/c it's a furoku from Host Club. XD~ But alas, I don't think I can get it, since I don't read anything in there besides KareKano basically, I only read Host Club and this other one called Beauty Is The Beast when they're out in chinese. ^^;;; But, *sighs* if one likes Host Club and can get LaLa's Jan 05 issue, one should! :D
That's all from me, til next time! Bye~
