Just find something strange and funny. There are spammers going around LJs spamming to promote mel gibson's Jesus movie. -_-
what a stupid thing to do.. -_- i just want to say that, if one wants other ppl to watch it so much, spread it by word of mouth! Don't these ppl know that spams are most likely the most hated things on the internet after umm.. viruses and stuffs???? According to me anyway. if i were the one getting a spam about this movie, it would definitely make me NOT want to watch it.. i'm rebel-ish like that.. don't push me to do something, otherwise you'll just alienate me more. That's the way i see this kind of thing.
and the movie? personally, i don't have an interest to watch it. (perhaps your dad might drag you to see it? :E) it may or may not sound weird, coming from me, who is Catholic, to say that i don't want to watch this movie. but the movie has been so.. hyped-up. makes it looks as if this is a hollywood movie out for money. i don't like that, doesn't matter if it is intentional or not. (not to mention those spammers.. -_- even if they don't affect me in anyway)
i don't like to mix religion with the money and glam that are of hollywood. i feel like it somehow degrades my religion or something. the movie itself maybe good, some may say, but! i already know how jesus died, how sad it was. i felt it everytime i read those particular passages in the bible. i know of his sufferings and everything. i've been educated of that ever since i was small. i don't need to see it visually done (again, if i might add, since i've seen Jesus of Nazareth).
and also! another one of my peeves :T (this is kinda bad of me thou.. and i'm a hypocrite on this :x) Jesus is NOT white!!!! He's from the middle east! you know, the place where peace never really settles?? He does NOT look like any european male with long hair and face full of beard. Period. I highly highly doubt Jesus looked like that. and yes, almost all paintings/depictions of him are of the above description, with the exception of a very very tiny few. so, i've learned to accept it... :C then what's my point really?? my point is.. why did they pick a relatively good looking white male to portray Jesus?? O_O it makes me feel like there's something wrong with the image they're trying to project. that if ppl followed Jesus, that was because of his good looks and not of his good deeds and teachings. that's just.. not right. :X
maybe i'm the only one thinking that.. but i don't care. i like to keep my view of my religion as sacred as possible. Because i believe in it. even thou i'm not one who's very devoted, i am proud and glad to be a catholic/christian.

- People who keep using "your" for "you're"
- People who don't know when to use "it's" and "its"
- Incoherent(sp) English used in MLs, grammatical errors, strange sentence structures, and all around.. ODD. Make it a pain for me to read
- Streamload requests that keeps asking and asking...
- One liner response that's completely purposeless for the whole but 1 person in the group, don't they know the meaning of an "OFFLIST Response"?
- OT topics that's completely irrelevant and a waste of time to read through. As in, "Ohh.. This and this are my favourite characters in [insert OT anime/manga here]. Let's chat and be friends!" /end of post" -_-
- OT topics/posts that are NOT labelled OT.
- People who type like a 10 year old, and who is often overly excited about the smallest thing.
- People who writes the whole message in Capitals, overuse of exclaimation marks!, (excessive) long use of vowels in a word to emphasize...
- People who demand rather than ask politely for things, be it information or downloads..
- People who ask for things from ONE person in one liner to the WHOLE group
- People who don't cut/snip the sender's post in the reply message. ESPECIALLY if the reply is to a really LONG fic.. and said reply is AGAIN a one liner! -__-
What brought on this.. list of peeves?? Well. I was reading posts in a ML and it's FULL of these people who type like they never learn how to write English before.. And one particular post just made me went into "fed up" mode.. I'm sick and tired of reading them over and over again.. I waste time that I could've spent to do other things, and finger power to having to click the delete button. Not to mention, a waste of space in my mailbox.
I do admit, I'm selfish.. and don't want to read the stuffs that I'm not interested in. That's why I have something against badly written English, they lose my interest VERY quickly, to the point of me refusing to push myself to read and figure out/understand what that person is actually writing.
I know, my English is not that good either. But! at least I make an effort to write like a normal person, so that others can READ what I wrote without getting into a headache..
Anyway.. the list is not done, since I have lots of peeves in this world, but I have to go to class, so bbl~

Sex and the City ended! (in the US) :p still a few more eps to go here in CA, but the series is over! T_T *mourns* I like how it ends. Can't ask for anything more. :3 Can't wait to finally see it in a few weeks. :D Just wanted to quote a quote, to commemorate:

the other news, and I'm sure everyone knows this already.. Mircx is dead. :x Despite what I hoped, it's gone for good now. Apparently the DDoS attacks was done by some d00d who's mad at mircx for killing off all bottlers, which happens to be infected irc clients i think (infected by the d00d no doubt) that takes up valuable resources of the network. So naturally, mircx killed them all, and he did the DDoS for revenge. m0r0ns.. >.> Oh yeah, did i also mention that he (most likely a he) is also DoSing aniverse as well? And now THAT is also closed down? Idiots.. -_-
I hope aniverse'll be back soon. It survived a huge one once, the same one that caused almost everyone to migrate to mircx. so, i trust? (or more like hope) aniverse will not go the same route as mircx. it survived once, and hopefully it can survive another. as for all the chans, everyone is lost and scattered, no sense of direction. Just waiting for ppl to settle down in a place that's stable for everyone.
so now, my IRC days has grown another chapter. First there was dalnet, then there was aniverse and ETG and some other ones, then mircx, and now.. *opens a new page* as many are asking, where do we go from here? :/

mircx is a dead fish right now. and hopefully it's just for now. that might explain why manga is slow. coz no one (i believe) can get on the server. :x *sigh* another dos attack.. just like the same thing that happened to aniverse a year or something ago.. and also same thing that killed dalnet back in the days.. boo.. and now it's happening to mircx. sucks.. :x hope the server'll be back up soon. coz it'll be sad to see it go. kinda got attached to it. since it's kinda nice. :x it'll be a pain to follow everyone to their new servers and chan again if mircx does go down.. :X anyway.. hope for the best! :/

umm.. yea. coz me bery busy. and also not feeling like bloggin. but anyway..
been feeling kinda bored. weekend is already here and there's not a lot of manga out on irc. :X usually lots of stuff come out during weekend. but this one is kinda slow. nothing to download, nothing to read. :x so me 'm bored. also don't want to think about school right now, since school is.. not happy happy joy joy. :/ and no manga!! T_T i want to read something new!! chans i frequent are like ghost towns. none are lively at all.. but.. hmm.. hope saturday and sunday would be different.
see how i'm typing everything in lower case? and in broken sentences and such? that's how i type lately. short and blurb-py. quick finger movements and all.. wanna do some finger typing exercise, coz me likes typing, and want to ascend to the level of being able to type while not looking at the keyboard. :3 how coolie that would be! :D me ish getting there :d woohoo

So I was reading the newspaper, there was this "break up" theme going on, getting ppl ready for valentine's day. Plenty of articles about how to and how not to break up with a person. T'was an interesting read. :D In one of the columns, it says this site has an "eerily accurate" test of a person's being and their relationship type. Yep, says here I'm a lurker! *fufufufu* So true. I used to participate on forum boards, and chat on IRC. But gradually, I found that they took more and more of my time away. Since I'm naturally slow at everything. So, in the end, I gave up trying to keep up. Same with anime. ^^;; But!! It's not that bad, being a lurker. It suits me just fine. I can come and go as I want. And there is none of this sense of obligation to keep up with the latest happenings or trends of the fandom. I can just sit back, and let the story or something unfolds as per the original creator. No need to go thru excessive fan speculation (which often can lead to flame wars). I've seen enough of those and they make my head explodes. Comparing notes and such, while still maintaining my own theory and speculations.. ^^;

Hmm.. guess this is as good a time as any, to answer the question =3 Since I'll most likely be really busy starting Monday. :/

So yes, you guessed right! :DD Hmm.. ya know? The hint is SO there in the layout :3 it's pretty obvious that blue guy is the one I like. XDDD And without further ado, as not to confuse people (namely karin =3) anymore, blue=green=shinogu, pink=lyoki, orange=azusa, and hatsumi is the girl, but i guess karin figures that out already, since I kinda forced you to read the summary :3
But ya know.. even though I like shinogu, the one I like/want hatsumi to end up with is lyoki. ^_^ It's so fun to read when things don't go his way, which is like.. all the time. XD Except, maybe during that extra flashback that ran recently in the magazine, about when they were really small. That was kinda sad, /me felt sorry for the little lyoki.. But anyway! Shinogu I like is because his storyline is so bittersweet. And I like stuffs like that. ^^; Current focus on the magazine now is shinogu! Hope some scans or translations will start to circulate once the volume is out. :33 /me wuv reading hot gimmick! Too bad kikiwai doesn't carry it. Nor do they have the english version from Viz (the last time i checked), so boo. :X Hopefully I can clear up my CC debt first, then go buy them when I feel appropriate to use it again. ~.~;;
I wish the Aihara Miki (mangaka of HG) scanlations out there would come out faster.. I have an older work of her at home, in chinese, and I find that, even thou the art looks quite old.. the story is still cute. I couldn't put it down and ended up staying up all night reading it when I got it. And I've already re-read it so many times since then. /me wishes to read more of her work! (both old and new!) =33 And the JP publisher is re-issuing this work again with brand-new covers! Actually, I think the publisher is doing that to all of her older works. Not sure, but so far 2 of them have already been re-issued. The one I have has 4 vols out already, only 1 more to go. :D Me thinks I'll get my hands on them when I can find some money. ^^;
And speaking of something I want to read more of.. Ooya Kazumi's manga!! ShoujoMagic (THE shoujo scanlation group out there) is gonna be doing some of her work! *_* I'm in heaven! I don't care how long they'll take! Am just so glad they'll be doing something of her. (Hope they'll not drop any of them. *crosses fingers*) I would, again, recommend you and others to read some of her work. Coz the guys she draws are VERY very very bish-licious! =33~ -whispers- To those who don't know, she also draws yaoi novel illustrations.. =33 -/whispers-. And yaoi scanlate group Hochuuami has one of her shounen-ai(or was it yaoi?) work done already. Thou I think her focus is really in shoujo manga. ^_^ FCTranslation is doing this work of her called "Yume Chu", JP: –²‚b‚ˆ‚•. A little slow going (in terms of release, not story-wise ^^;), but it's good! At least I think so... >.> Go take a look! There's also some pics of this that you can find here. =D

Long time no update! >.> Coz urm.. I was busy.. >.> (eating and sleeping..) :x
The reason I'm bloging right now, is that, within just 5 minutes of just getting out of class (just now), I managed to beng(sp?) my head (it was my face!) on a metal pole (indoor), and walk into a big pile of snow and fell like an idiot (outdoor). All within 5 minutes of each other!
My pants (bum area >.>) is wet now, so is the side of my legs.. And my upper lip is hurting a bit, coz that was the point of contact. ;_; I can't believe how clumsy I am this morning.. Something must be wrong with me today... >.>
Anyway.. i'm hungry >.> so.. gotta go eat. ja~

Weather continues to be cold. >_< I'm now writing this here because I'm missing my class at now. Took me 1 and a half hour to get here. Road conditions are bad. And the temperature!! >_< I wear 2 layers of everything already, but when the wind blows straight at me, it's still freezing cold! My eyes were sticking together when I was walking, and my nose felt like it had tiny ice sticks (from the nose's watery stuffs).. o.o;
Anyway, it's just *very* cold here in TO. And the news said we're near our maximum consumption of power, if this weather goes on longer, we'll be using it all up. I'm afraid.. I don't want to have a BLACKOUT in the middle of winter! And while the temperature is still -30C!!! TT_TT
/me envy those with warm weathers... :x

dizzy and not feeling well // 11:56 a.m.
This morning I woke up feeling dizzy. I thought it's b/c i haven't had food yet, but that's not it. I ate and just now in the subway station, felt the dizzyness again. Only when I'm stationary like now, in front of the comp and stuff, not moving fast and not bend down to look at the floor that i'm a little better.
i also felt like i want to puke. i'm not a milk person, and i had to drink a cup of lurkwarm milk this morning. when i was feeling a little dizzy, those milk in my stomach feels like it wants to swirl around in my stomach like a whirlpool. :x
anyway, just not feeling well, and this weather isn't helping. -20s and plus windchill it must be close to -40 :X i'm an eskimo(sp?) today. if you want to look for me, i'm the person with a big head and dirt yello coat :P
off to class i go now..

This manga is pure shoujo, and I love it to the point that I want to buy the english version out by Viz. Even thou, one of reasons I want it in english is b/c I can't find chinese scans of it, but that's besides the point. :P
I would highly recommend you and everyone else to read it, or at least read up on it from the link I provided above. It's really good. Sure beats waiting aimlessly for CLAMP to update your favourite series... >.>; So, go! read the summaries! And THEN, you just *may* get the right answer to my question. :D And while you're at it, answer your own questions too. *fufufufu* Haha, kuu ish ebil.. mwahahaha

Arrgh.. I knew something like that would happen. The newer entrys looking weird on top on the older ones. Stupid browsers... :x Or maybe it's just coz I don't code well.. Either way, I "think" or "hope" I fixed it now.. Both Konquerer and Mozilla seem to look okay.. The only thing left is to check that it doesn't effect the way it is supposed to look in IE. and check this over in netscape too..

Sun Yanzi - Can't be with you // 01:22 a.m.
Sooo. Here's the aforementioned new layout. For the new year. :) Happy "belated" New Year! To all those who read this thing. :3
I meant to update sooner, was actually planning on updating on Jan 5, first day of school. But I got too tired working on the bg graphics of this thing, so I went to bed instead. Then I had only little time to work on the side bar info content. I think I did say before that I was gonna update them, and now here they are. :) Took me such a long time looking up info, gathering correct links and such. As well as finding the right colour. Phew~ At least this is finally done! ^^;
I'm not too happy with the tagboard, the colours look so.. bland. :x And other colour combinations I tried looked icky, so I gave up. The look of the weatherpixie doesn't match this layout at all, but I want it there still, coz I want to know the weather easily. :D Anyway, even thou I don't really like how the side bar turned out.. I'm tired and sleepy, I just want to get this baby out, so I can now do school stuffs. ^^;
As for the new info I added, feel free to click on the links if there is one. Most of them are japanese sites thou. And pretty much all the new stuffs I added are BLs, otherwise known as Boy's Love, or shounen-ai, or more commonly grouped as yaoi (even thou not much of them are really "yaoi".. if you know the real meaning of the word..) ^_~ But anyway, I don't know if any of the sites are linkable.. >.>;; so.. hope none of those sites will come here and mash me for linking. :x I'll apologize here in advance. Just in case.
Generally, this thing is not much different than the previous koucha ouji one. The dimensions are pretty much the same, even thou I had wanted/envisioned it to be different. The htmls are still the same.. :x I really need to learn stuffs properly, and maybe at least try out/learn dreamweaver. That way, I may get to have a really different layout next time. ^^;; Oh, speaking of next time.. this layout is here to stay, for a while, maybe until next new year, or until I get tired of it. I have no plan of changing it anytime soon, except maybe a few tweaks here and there. It took me a loong time (nearly an entire day) working on the bg image. So, forgive me that I'm going to enjoy the fruit of my labour for a while, a looong while. ^_^;;
So that's it! That's my first post for the new year. My eyes are drooping muchly. Hope everything will turn out gooder this year! For me, for you, and for everyone else. Yoroshiku ne~ aaand oyasumi~ Zz..
