hmm.. that's odd, what you said in tag. Since you told me before that you coded so the font would fix in one size no matter what ppl do to their browser text size? I came across this font problem before too, but it was on the very old version of netscape they have in the lab, and that was for my previous gray layout. That's why I don't use their netscape ^^;; and switch to mozilla, coz while mozilla is _still_ weird (it made the font bigger than they were supposed to be, opposite of what happen in your case), it was at least readable.. and all the links clickable.. :x
Maybe you have to change some of your coding to fix it :x Or switch to KDE and use Konquerer to see how your bloggie looks there. I'll tell you where to go to switch to KDE if you haven't figured it out yet. But then.. I also went into problems with Konquerer. :X In my previous layout, all my links in the div's layers weren't clickable at all. I have no idea how that can happen :X They work in mozilla for me (and of course IE too), but not konquerer, and I refuse to read it with netscape.. So.. I thought mozilla is the only one that can handle bloggie layouts..
To bad they don't have IE in the SF labs.. But! The labs that you're gonna go to in 2nd semester, when you have your programming course, will have a unix version of IE installed. You just have to activate it.
But anyway, all these problems I found were with my previous layout. I haven't try looking at this new one on those machines yet. Since this one was made in the summer. I'll find some time to look at it in the lab come monday. If worse comes to worst, you can always go to the PC labs in BA. XD Ah! That reminds me.. I forgot how to login in the PC labs. :X Yikes.. I'll test 'em out on monday then. ^^;;;;;;
On books: I wanted to go down to kikiwai to buy dnangel artbook today, but I didn't go. :x coz I was tired out from all that walking today. I got some nice stuffs from walking around and around the club booths thou. I went during my lunch break, and then 1 more time after class ended. Got some free samples, coupons, a ball (decoration only XD), a map, some pens, and some other stuffs. XD So, the point is.. the bag got quite heavy real fast. Thus me can't walk to kikiwai to get dnangel. :/ And I don't think I can go on monday, since I'll be buying textbook.. textbook = heavy; and post textbook buying = no $$; :-: Sigh. Oh well, guess I'll put off buying stuffs. Have to focus on school ya know? ^^;;

I surface! From the rumble of broken computer parts. Haha, just kidding. No, my computer didn't fall apart. ^^;; But the installation process didn't go without glitches either. The power supply of my compy blew off :x With sparks and loud popping noise. Leaving behind a trail of gun powder ish smell in the compy case..
Obviously, after such a *ahem*spectacular*ahem* event.. my comp would never turn on in any way. ^^; So, in addition to the HD, my compy now also has a new (and better) power supply. :3 Now, I no longer need to leave the comp on overnight in fear of on/off problems. ^_^
After that, I had trouble assigning the drives to the arrangement I preferred originally. (Even with help from my bro.) So I scrapped that idea and just start everything fresh from my new HD. Saved me all the hassles of file transferring. ^^; While I was at it, I also took the opportunity to install WinXP. ^_^ Heh.. The last 2 days were spent renaming files, organizing and testing around.. and! re-downloading the programs I need. I'm not done yet.. But I'm almost there. I think I'll burn more stuffs soon, to better organize my comp. ^^ My eyes are so sore from having to stare at the monitor for 2 straight days.. >_< And school is starting in 2 days too. I'll have to stare even MORE then.. :-:
Hmm.. what else what else.. AH! yesh! I also got myself a tablet.. Well, technically, my mom got it for me, since she was the one who paid for it.. I'll pay it back when I have more $$. :3 But, yes, me has a tablet now. I haven't install it yet. I'll do that in the next 2 days, before school starts. When that's done, hopefully I'll be able to write chinese without typing the words out one by one. ^^;; And I'll use it to draw too :3 But I don't have any drawing program installed yet. :xxx Gaah~~ Gotta finish setting up the comp first!
So that's it for me this time. Back to adjusting the comp to my liking again. Ja ne~~

Hmmm... I saw Mars last night! ^^ It's a very bright dot in the sky that glows a pale orange-y and pink-ish light. ^^; With the naked-eye, you can mistaken it as one of those night lights on airplanes. Only that Mars' light is stable and is not flashing. ^^;;
Annd.. I guess this is really inevitable.. PoT (ie: Prince of Tennis) 's licensed-ness could be announced as early as this weekend.. (by FUNimation) Or so I've heard from rumours flying around. ^^ Apparently, Viz also has the manga. This really doesn't surprise me.. ^^;;; I was actually wondering why it wasn't licenced during the early-summer-Anime-Expo license blowout. ^^;; The anime has become so popular and has elements that appeal to both guys (sports ^^) and girls (slash XD) alike.
I wonder if they would plan to air it on TV.. ^^;; I kinda hope they would :3 Provided that the company gives it good voice-acting ^^ Just so anyone cares.. I really don't like the dubbed version of Yu-gi-oh --;;; Everyone sounds so cliched.. It just irks me so. I ended up making fun of the voices the few times that I watched it. ^^;; But anyway, as long as I can stand the voices (and that's it's on TV), I'll watch. :3 Also, this anime doesn't require much cutting or editing or censoring me thinks. It has healthy subject matter (tennis), no foul languages, no violence, straight forward settings (matches and advancing in tournaments) with the occasional funny filler eps (chibi eps), and the standard pro and an-tagonists.. ^^ Really, I think it's an ideal show to be on TV! :3 But then... one never knows what's gonna happen.. ^^; Look what happened to Escaflowne. :x
Buuut.. It's too soon to comment for now. I'll just quietly wait for more info to come out. ^^; If PoT is indeed licensed this weekend, then I guess I'll never see the chibi ep (87-88) subbed ^^;; A-O is only up to ep 80 for now. Good thing I got my little hands on its raw back then. :33
AH! I still haven't decided on whether if I should go down to kikiwai. :x I want -FEDER- but don't know if I should go.. I do have $$ for it.. But what if it's sold out when I get down there? Also, I may not have time to get there before Aug 30, which I'll have to if I want to make use of that coupon :xxXXX. Decisions.. Decisions.. Decisions..
Reasons for not having time on my hands: HD and HD space! I got the new HD a few days ago.. and just have to install it. I've been reading and organizing my mangas the past few days. Getting ready to burn stuffs off. Which in itself is my getting ready to install that new HD. Hopefully I won't screw up while doing it.. since it has no manual. :x I'll be doing it soon, but am still afraid of my comp problem.. so.. courage courage courage!!
Anyway, that's it for now. :3 If I seem to disappear over the near future.. it'll be due to problems related to the new HD! Hopefully everything will turn out smoothly and problems won't arise! Wish me luck! :3
EDIT: To answer your new blog msg: No, I'm not disliking IRC.. Something happened and I just didn't expect it. That's all. It just made me having to do some work to make it normal again. ^^; It got me worried for a bit, but everything seems to be fine now.. And hopefully it stays so.. ^^;;
Also, seeing your craving for some food, which I don't know what it is yet.. ^^;; I want to recommand this place in P-mall! It's in the upstairs food-court of p-mall. In the side of the cultural village. The place is called Fusion Tofu. Right next to that stage thingy at the end of the mall. The tofu there is soo good! And the sauce (I suspect it is sweetened soy-sauce)!! Yum! :3 I've tried their fried tofu. Yum. A rice onigiri thingy in a hexagon shape.. Very tasty stuff. I'll try their other stuffs another time. I just never thought tofu can be so tasty.. ^^ Okay, I'm done now. :3 Ja~

Eheheheh ^^;;; Blackout. :3 I kinda like this blackout too.. Since, as I told you on the phone, it gave me PLENTY of time to sleep. Ufufufufu :333 Seriously, I haven't sleep this long since.. mostly likely since I was a baby or something.. Let's say I slept around 9.15 or so.. and woke up in the morning.. I'll have to say I slept a good 12 hours. :DD
Me and family and little cousins were all sleeping on the ground floor, since it's cooler this way.. So me woke up from bright sunshine this morning. :3 And the power also came back on by the time I woke up. Which is good, coz then I don't have to worry *too* much over not having enough water pressure, or not having enough water or something. ^^;
My other cousin stayed in a friend's house, and they only had one flashlight working. ^^; So they lighted lots of candles. And the power went out at the time when she was still doing her exam! Good thing that didn't seem to affect her exam, coz her uni has back up generators. ^^;
Without power, everything is also soo quiet. I especially like that part. Coz everything running around the house always make noise. But no power, no sound. It's kind of nice. As if we're back to some ages when power/electricity weren't invented. As first, I thought the blackout was just local. But then I heard uncle said New York and Ohio also didn't have power. Only then I knew how bad this whole thing is.. ^^;; Cellphone wasn't working either.. the system was probably overloaded, if not already outed by the power loss. ^^;; But anyway, things seem to be back to normal for now.. Hope it stays that way. And RAIN!! When will it come? I soo need it to relief the heat!
I didn't get to see the sky like you thou. Since I went to bed so early. There was really nothing to do with the blackout. All we could do was go to bed. XD And so we did. :D
I didn't plan to write an entry today.. But thought that, with the blackout, and the still not very stable power system, I really couldn't perdict whether if there'll be anymore blackouts. So I just type one up.. so to commemorate it. ^^; Over 12 hours of blackout.. and 12 hours of sleep! XDD And I don't even have to go to work due to that! :33 But I'm back to work tomorrow thou... ^^;;
Wish I could also see the sky, coz how rarely would you get to see *no* light reflected in the sky? ^^; Although, there were times when I was trying to look at stars and found that the moonlight was too bright, which obstructed the view, made it hard for me to concentrate on a spot to find stars.. ^^;; That's just a bit of my experience in stargazing. My bad eyesight doesn't help either. ^^; Everything comes out blurry if I don't wear glasses or look at it thru the binocular. And even with that, concentrating too hard makes my eyes water. Boohoohoo :x
Responding to your comment on dnangel wp. Strangely enough, I think they ARE on ice.. or rather, the ground around them is covered in snow. Or maybe, they're frozen/trapped in a big piece of ice. Since the pic is done when the manga was going thru the school play, the play is a story called "Ice and Snow" or something.. Don't know the exact, coz I'm too lazy to flip thru the manga right now, but it's definitely something winter-ish. So your guess is right! :33

Waa~ It's nice seeing this just before I go to bed. Since today isn't the best of days. :x I got up at 4am this morning, and couldn't get back to sleep due to the heat. And the place I work at doesn't have air-con.. So I had to endure the heat wave while working. All 38 degrees of heat with humidity.. >_< Tomorrow will be even hotter.. *faints* When's the rain going to come?? >_< Electric fans doesn't help in easing the heat, since all it's doing is just moving warm air around. I should bring one of those medical ice-pack thingy with me.. :333~ So I can use it to cool down :DD Just kidding ^-~

AHH!! long time no update! :3 For the past weeks or so, it's all been work, work, work. ^^; I can only get online to check my email quickly, then I have to be away.. coz my little cousins want to use my comp too. And when they're using my compy, I go and do my daily routine like showering and such. And by the time I'm done.. It's already time for bed. Therefore, I hardly have time to surf! ^^;;;;
Today is a bit okay thou, it's the only day that I get to be off a weee bit earlier than usual. ^^;; But then, I'll be back at it again tomorrow. ^^;; Work's been tiring.. ^^;; But I can't complain. XD Since I'm earning for my new HD, textbooks and tuitions. ^^;; I'll need at least 100$ for the HD. The textbooks are... majorly expensive.. -_- I'm thinking of getting my cousin to get it for me in HK.. The prices there are like 10% of what I would need to pay here! And then there's also the tuition. The invoice came a week or so ago.. 7000$ ! >_< I just really need the money :-:
On something else... DNAngel manga! is licensed!! By Tokyopop. That's really good news I think. Now you will get to buy it to read. No need to read scanlations on the net! And while I was browsing the links related to DNAngel, I found out that TP also has BrainPowerd!! (TP also has Candidate for Goddess manga, btw) No wonder no one scanlated it.. Besides the other reason.. coughNotSoPopularcough :333 But anyway.. Now that you know, you can go buy the domestic version of these mangas when they're released. From amazon or kikiwai.. or something.. The first BP volume is already released.. Maybe you can order it somewhere. ^^;;

Pimple business. And eating habits. Was telling you about them on IRC. A little update now is that pimple did grow big T__T but it seems to be dying now.. So I'll have to wait until that area of my face become flat again. As for my overstuffed tummy.. It went flat on the next day, thankfully! But it's still a little umm.. balloon like.. so.. me gotta be careful not to eat so much again :X
Ah! yes! since I've recently been so busy.. I'm falling behind in many manga scanlation releases.. T__T I've managed to finish up reading and sorting most of the shoujos I have. But all the BL releases... :-: I can't read them yet. :x Cousins are here and I don't want them catching me read those. XD I wouldn't want to have to explain to them why I have these files on my compu'. :xxX Plus they gossip around to aunts and uncles.. --;;; I sooo do NOT want that to happen.. I'll die if it ever does.. --;; so, I can't read until the coast is clear! ^^;;;;
In other news:
I wonder if any digi-sub group is still subbing DNAngel... Since I kinda want to get DNAngel 14.. I read somewhere that it's kinda slashy.. Something involving a pool and someone needing CPR... :333 Anyway, I'll take a look around for that :3
The new HnG oneshot(s) in Jump 33. There's actually 2 oneshots. One's about the first match between Sai and Akira, in the go salon, at the very beginning of the series. A closer look at what's going thru Sai's head as he played. The other is a little omake about 2 inseis who look up to Hikaru and Akira. I must say.. Overall, the ending is still quite disappointing... I still kinda want it to leave with a bang, ya know? :x But.. I respect their decision to end it... And I'll be looking forward to the last tank out in Sept..
Oh! DNAngel illustration book "FEDER" ish out!~~~ To bad I know it's gonna cost a fortune in kikiwai ;-; With the way they do the exchange rate.. :x I'll need to see if I can find a place that doesn't cost that much.. If not, I'll still get it in kikiwai, just have to find some $$ for it :3
Vol 9 of DNAngel is also out~ :3 I think I already have it ordered.. Guess I'll have to wait for email.. Been real busy lately. ^^;; I'm rarely at home for the pass week. I had to go to work to earn some extra $$, so I can get a new HD. I think the hours I've done so far will cover it.. only for the price after rebate thou.. So me still got to work more to cover those extras before rebate.
And besides not being at home, I'm also extremely tired these days.. That's basically accumulated from the working, and the excessive walking I did. You know the day we went to Eaton Centre? Remember how we walked thru the streets and around Eaton Centre in circles? XD The day after that, I went with my family to Niagara Falls. Hours of walking that day.. on already tired feet and legs. And then! The day after that, went with family AGAIN to walk around Home Depot and a few other clothing outlets... ^^;;; You can imagine the amount of walking I did over these few days.. And I had to go to work after too. ^^;;; I was probably spacing out here and there yesterday on IRC. Hahaha XD Just too tired... ^^
We went cherry picking on route to Niagara Falls! XD Got a lot of them. :E Been eating them after dinner and lunch for the pass few days. And there are still a lot left in the fridge. XD
Another thing! I'll forever get carded at Casinos. XD That's coz we went to Niagara Falls on a tour, and that tour includes the casino admission. Me and my family had to enter the casino to get some kind of $$ back. Must be some kind of promotion thing. To attract more visitors or something. XD Hahaha. But we didn't gamble at all. Just went in, got the money, and got out. XD Then we went on a walking! tour around the falls. Went around the tourist streets for 3 hours at least... Anyway, back to the main point.. Yes, I'll forever get carded at Casinos! Coz I don't look like I'm legal. XD It's my second time there already, and every time when I wanted to get into the casino to use their washrooms.. I had to get my ID checked. XD Nya nya nya~~~ Hehehe
Yay!! I'm downloading DNAngel OST as I speak. or type. ^.~ Hehehe. Don't know why some people thought the dnangel soundtrack sucks.. I for one thought the music is the only good thing about the dnangel anime. o.O;; I must be weird. XD Don't know... I like the kind of music they use in the anime.. Violin stuffs.. Nice sound. It's my kind of music, ya know? I'm not that keen on pop-ish, rock-ish stuffs. :x Oh well.. ^^;; it's really hard for me to like a piece of music anyway ^^;;;;;
Annnnnd... Hehehe.. Thanx to Koji here, I got the PoT chibi ep and a special ep released as a promotion in a Jump festival called Jump Festa. I don't think she knows I have a blog. ^^;; Only communicated with her thru email. ^^;; And my email name is not kuu. ^^;; But anyway! Me still very happy and grateful to her for sharing it in the first place. :D Lot of funnyness in chibi ep. Even thou it's raw. XD But thanx to synopsis in many places.. I was able to get what's going on. XD Ponta peach juice can! XD The way that it carries a baby Ryoma reminds me of an old chinese folk tale... Don't know if it is really a reference to that story.. Coz I'm not sure whether the Japanese have their own version of that folk tale too ^^;; But it's sure fun to wonder! :D As for the special, I didn't get a chance to watch the whole thing yet, since I have no time right now.. But the glimpses I steal.. Hehehehe... Seigaku sure is good!! :33 I think A-O (anime-otakus, the fansub grp) will release it, calling it the PoT OVA. Me can't wait to see it sub! :33
I think that's it for today! :3 Still not too happy over certain things.. But I'm trying not to think of it too much.. ^^;; So, I'm relatively okay atm..

Hmm.. archived. Previous entries getting a bit too long..
Hearing of wallpapers.. DNAngel has new wps ^^ Nice eye candy. :3 But they're probably not the type you like. Still, go take a look eh?
I don't go wallpaper hunt much anymore, nor do I search for new images or winamp skins much nowadays. Partly it's because I don't find nice sites with them.. but also, there aren't many subject matters I like. I don't follow anime as closely as any anime fan would, so I'm not interested in the majority of the series out there. And I'm not a big fan of sceneries. So, many wallpapers doesn't impress me. ^^ I also count in the techniques used and the overall look of the wp to decide whether I like it or not.
As for winamp skins.. Many sites have already disappeared. Probably coz ppl didn't want to make them anymore.. Since it isn't easy to make skins for the new winamp version. There's this one winamp skin site I really miss.. Full of nice skins from various series in various manga magazines. But it's been gone for a long time now, and the webmistress had stopped updating it long before that as well. Oh well.. ^^;;
A little bit more on Hikaru no Go:
I heard that the American Go Association(?) wanted to use HnG to make Go popular among kids, just like what the anime did in Japan. That got me thinking.. Are they planning on airing it on TV then? If so, that'll be so cool. ^^ Thou, I don't know how they're going to explain/censor all that smoking. XD And I also worry whether they'll keep the Jp names of the characters. Coz if it does get aired, Hikaru just wouldn't be Hikaru if not called Hikaru. ^^;; And the voices! That too! I'm too attached to the Jp voices. ^^;; Buut.. This is just all speculation on my part. ^^ There's no talk what-so-ever on having HnG on TV. Only that the english version (ie: dvd) will be out sometime later this year. It's just that.. I wonder how the American Go ppl are going to generate interest in mess public if they don't air it on TV. ^^;
