Oh, how I wish.

06:59 p.m. ;; July 9, 2005

Well, come sunday, I'm California-bound. Back in a week, kids, then all that 20s and French craze. Harry Potter soon, might not be here for it. I even had a reservation. What will happen if I'm not there? Oh well.

Music update: I've been tied to jazzy-bluesy shoegaze folk-pop. It's. Absolutly. Dazzling. Anyone watching the recent Conan O'Brian talk show recently (on wednesday; thursday?) can attest. Anyone watch FEIST perform?! She is amazing. You can listen to some songs (download free) from Tofu Hut. Just go past the interview of Feist, links at the end of the post. Also, check out some Jason Collett and Ghosty; it's extra credit.

Well, California, California. Just hoping my iPod will last the drive there.

If you feel like getting politically enraged at Fox News, please click here for some grievous statements made by said newsteam about the recent attacks on London. Francophiles, be ready.

Hey kids, I <3 CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH! It's so good. So good. Ongoing trend of deliriously happy music (PINE*am, Stars, U.S.E.). Get on that bandwagon. As you click on the link, to the right hand panel there are three songs for you to download. Do it, it's gonna make your smiles ten miles wide, I mean it. I suggest "On This Tidal Wave of Young Blood." Please Please Please.

Oh and I dumped dial-up for the lovely cable internet. Also, I've been awake so far listening to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! for 27 hours now. You should too; Jump on that bandwagon. (Mariela included). BTW, there is an upward trend towards fascism in America. Guess who.

10:07 p.m. ;; June 20, 2005

Well, I've seen cable, and thus, I've seen the light.

As to past business, Seattle-bound once again, in past tense (though hopefully not so later. It was fun: window shopping, collecting business cards, ian. Original plans called for a flight to Queen Anne via Belltown, but we only went as far as Bell St. in Belltown and decided to go for sushi and non-seafood foods at Todai. Capitol Hill again, it's just the one for me. We did go to Pioneer Square and quickly decided that everything east of Yesler St. was not for us. We even made plans so we could breezily and casually pass by people asking for money.

We (I?) finally got to go to the Seattle Library, and there was a corridor that led to a dead end and view from the top as Kelsey and I peered down at 8 Levels of air towards the bottom. The floor was not connected to the sidings. Misha was too afraid to take a gander. Goose. Mother Goose. Misha was too afraid of the hairs on her chinny chin chin to take a goose. Of course.

I guess there might be a connection between Asians and Africans, guys. Thanks to awe-inspiring conversations heard undercover while we were there. Literature and racial debates: Seattle Library has everything. Even more as we walked around:

So the three of us were wandering around and we pass by a seemingly off-kilter area of Seattle and as we anxiously (anxiously) wait for the light to let us walk to cross a street we hear "don't trust those asians, don't turn your backs on them" HAHA, at least were weren't yelled at for being Mexicans this time. Later, as we head to the ferry, a very charismatic guy calls us "Man with a Plan, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz." I think Kelsey was Lucy. Yet again, Misha says of herself: "I soooo don't look Asian."

I've moved on, PINE*am, I've found Alexandre Kinn. A very French man that Monica might like to meet. (Mariela, I couldn't see past the Yoda-speak, but it must have been nothing but praise, naturally; You cynic, you). Well. If you don't like it, I totally put it on your Stars CD. I was plotting to put a Simple Plan song first, but I guess, that will suffice.

HAHA, Screw Your Neighbor and Egyptian Rat Screw. Shoot, Dang.

I want to see a tearjerking movie. Bawl your eyes out movie. Crycrycry, tragictragictragic. something sad... suggestions?

09:52 p.m. ;; June 14, 2005

This week, this month --- I've been feeding off of music. I feel empowered, excited, a mix of sensations like going to a Riot Grrl concert and Feminist Ralley while attacking every boy I've ever met; it's that euphoric. I'm out of the slump I've had for a while. Excelsior!

Anyway, as though. Can anyone just agree with me that PINE*am (spelled as thus) is the greatest band ever to grace this planet? Perhaps not as drastic, but just as powerful. Visit eeniemeenie.com for more excellent music. It's. So. Good. Like chocolate, or compliments, or unexpected gifts, or...

Anyways, please. Please. Download PINE*am, just scroll down and look for it. I suggest Gymnopedie 0.1 and Rhyme Mime. I beg you. Just "save target as" with your right mouse click. Do it.

Anyways, about me. Finals week. I think I really bombed things, mucho. Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry, you are a cruel, cruel mistress. Otherwise, I've been cutting classes, meeting Reslyn at the mall, and generally getting into the summer mindframe.

Hmm, Threadless hasn't been selling shirts I'd want to buy, for a while. I missed out on the shirt with the Ship, Submariner, and the Mermaid; as well as the Rubiks Cube Heart. Must clamor for reprints.

Why aren't you downloading PINE*am yet?
