There is a guy with headphones standing over my shoulder...
In other news, going to a wedding today. The guy in headphones is my best friend's fiance, Dylin. I've mentioned him before. No it's not Jo and Dylin's wedding. It's Jo's sister's.
Meanwhile, went to a church retreat this weekend. Mildly amusing. I liked swimming in the pool the best. Gave my testimony, almost cried and made a fool of myself, and remembered why as fun as they are, sometimes I don't like going to those retreats. I do have a reputation to uphold. But then, maybe that's why I should go, since that reputation as a tough girl isn't nessisarily the best thing for my spiritual walk.
I'm thinking too hard again. My brain is getting over heated.
I think I'm going to go get ready to go to this weddig thing. Maybe. I may just veg for a bit then rush around trying to get ready.
**brap** mmm... salad. With light ranch dressing.

Ok, now that Quizzie time is over, I'd better post a real, honest to goodness post.

Ok, kidding. Anyway. Boys are dumb, I hate them all. Oh well, such is life. Another of my friends is getting married, leaving me, you guessed it, probably working in the wedding, again. ::le sigh:: Not that I mind helping with the weddings, it's fun. But dammit, why is everything happening for them and not me? By the time I finally do find someone they're all probably going to be on their second and third kids! (with me as the god-mother, of course) That's me. Never married, going to be the bridesmaid/maid of honor in a lot of weddings and the spoiling surrogate aunt to all of my frend's children. What gives?
Now I have to go on record here saying that I couldn't be happier for my friends. I am glad that they have found someone to spend their lives with, and glad that they remembered to tell me about it, and even gladder that I will likely, in some way, be a part of the wedding. But for pete's sake, when will it be my turn? I want a guy to kiss and cuddle with, that's it. That's all I need right now what with a job and school and likely another job. I'm not asking for much. Just a nice, straight guy that I can have an intelligent conversation with and can cuddle with. And it wouldn't hurt if he could give a good foot rub.
Meanwhile, only one of those exists in town and he's my best friend and isn't interested. Hence, the current hatred for guys.
In other news: I might be getting a job at Pizza Hut. I applied there, interviewed twice, and call today, in like three minutes, to find out if I got the job. Please, please, please let me get it! God, if your not going to give me a boyfriend, at least let me get another job so I don't have time for a bloody boyfriend!

We have a house guest. A friend of mine that goes to my sister's school is staying with us for a few days. Woohoo! She's a nice girl, but this morning, moments after I woke up, she brought over a legion of her friends. I guess they're doing testing or something at the school, so the seniors have nothing to do. Hence, my house is overrun with High school seniors. Oh well. As long as they don't get loud and keep the smoking outside, I frankly don't care. They're good kids, for what it's worth. I was just surprised. (I was still in my PJs for one thing. Eek!)
In other news, the navel ring is healing nicely, and I adore it. I shall likely keep it for always.
And now, I'll go doze or something similar till I hafta go to school.

I'm gonna do it. I'm really gonna do it this time.
I'm gonna shoot this damned computer. Everytime I need to go and do something on it, or anything, it won't do it. Either Yahoo won't load, or AOHell is screwing up (as though that's anything new), or something! And don't even ask me how many times I've been booted from AIM on my branch of the network! I've lost so many RP logs it's not even funny.
It's really starting to torque me off.
Oh well, I'll deal. In other news, I'm searching for a second job. I'm applying to Applebees, American Eagle, and ::gasp:: Victoria's Secret. I'm still trying to figure out what the secret is, personally. I just need another job. I need money, and I need to be doing stuff rather than just sitting at home. Everyone else went and got a life outside the computer, so I suppose I should too.
