I meant to blog this morning. I was annoyed, because the teacher I went to see wasn't there, and my download had shorted out overnight at 92%. But I didn't get a chance to blog, and now I'm not really annoyed anymore. Go figure.
I have the sudden very strong urge to write something original and Yamiesque. Yeah, like I need more projects. -_-;;
Need to do a site update. Perhaps this weekend, but perhaps not. I have a busy weekend. Not in a bad way, like last weekend, just in a busy way. Places to go, people to see, things to do. (Interchangeable phrase, that.)
Right now, psych homework to do. Which I shall get right on, as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Speaking of fruit (though not in that way, certainly), I'm working hard on my FruBa fic. Non yaoi. ((*gasp!*)) Shigure-centric. (Not much of a surprise there. He's my second favorite after Hatori, and as much as I like Hatori, you really can't write a fic that centers around him without being fuckdepressing.) Quite a bit of Yuki in it too. And lots of Akito. I don't like Akito, nor am I going to make any attempt to hide it. I feel sorry for him on my more forgiving days, but generally speaking he just annoys the living hell out of me. I spent an hour hunting down a website that had their ages, so now I'm fairly sure that I have everyone right. Part one will probably be up sometime this week.
There was going to be more to this entry, damnit, and now I've forgotten. Ah well, back to work.

I've been trying to get Photoshop forever.
In other news, I have reached the too tired and stressed out to eat phase, which is pretty good since the food here blows anyway. Had a quarter of a bowl of soup and half a muffin for lunch. And two glasses of Mountain Dew. I've learned that I can subsist off Mountain Dew. No, really.

I have more cute adoptions now. That column just keeps getting longer. But damn it, they're always so cute! And c'mon, I had to have FruBa adoptions. FruBa is on my list of favorite series. And X pairings, wai!
In retrospect, if I had to list my five favorite series, I'm not exactly sure what they'd be.
Yami no Matsuei, Fruits Basket, Trigun, Card Captor Sakura, and El-Hazard (first OVA only), I suppose. But favorite manga would be different. X/99, Tokyo Babylon, CCS, Yami no Matsuei, and Weiss Kreuz. I *really* like the little Weiss Kreuz manga there is. I mean, come on. Schwarz has personalities in it.
Speaking of Schwarz having personalities, this pic cracks me the hell up. Heil, Esstet! ((Edit: Angelfire is a poohead and won't hotlink images. Well, if you go the page it's the last one on the list. Brad's making a great face. You'll know it when you see it.))
Which makes me wonder, *why* are they named after a letter of the German alphabet? I like Weiss, but they've got some weird flaws in the series. (Not to mention plotholes. Did they ever say *why* Aya-chan doesn't age?)

I haven't blogged in a while, have I? Life has been boring and uneventful. I've figured out what classes to take to graduate from school on time. I've worked a bunch on Eventide, after Rowan showed up in true muse fashion and said "Okay, I'm ready for you to write my story now", like he'd never ditched me in the first place. I got the literary journal a new advisor that doesn't suck. Busy busy bee, that's me.
In other news, I have two five-page papers due next week and I suppose I should start working on them, as well as working on my honors proposal because I think I need that done in a couple weeks and it needs to be even bloody longer.
For now, however, since I got up early just to run errands, I'm going to zone in front of my computer. I have to leave for class in twenty minutes anyway.

So, because I'm a conformist... I don't know how exactly this survey works, but I guess it's sort of an anime fanfiction survey thing. And it was cute anyway. I likes it. ^^
The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it: Definitely Tokyo Babylon and X, the whole Seishirou/Subaru story. Especially the last bit. I mean, can't you picture Seishirou laughing his ass off at all the fangirls who got weepy about the story? Really.
The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets: Fushigi Yuugi. It was the first anime I ever saw. I loved Suboshi to death then and still do, and will still occasionally pop in the music videos and stuff like that. Also the first website I ever helped ran.
The mysterious dark gothy one with whom you used to sit up talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized she really was fucking crazy: I'd agree with Vul here. Evangelion. In fact, we did sit up on many occasions rather late discussing Eva. Of course, I still haven't seen the second half, but hey.
The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved she doesn't actually live in town: Uhm... I'm having trouble relating this, honestly. Sounds like a Gravitation sort of thing, especially since I can't watch it again due to the crappiness of my copy.
The steady: In terms of actual adoration, Yami no Matsuei. I don't think there's anything that will make me stop loving that series. But with fics, Tokyo Babylon and X. No matter how hard I try, I *cannot* stop writing fics for that damn series.
The ex: The only thing I can think of is Utena, since I only watched it once and never plan on it again. ::sweatdrops:: Sorry to all you Utena fans out there.
The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with:Weiss Kreuz, really. Though I really like it, I've never looked seriously into sites or anything, or written any fanfiction. Of course, she and I are remedying that.

The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool gal except it's never really gone anywhere: Cowboy Bebop. I mean, I like it, but I've never goggled over it like many of the people I know have. Though I do love Ed, just on principle.

Maybe Record of Lodoss War, but I only know two people who like it, and I've never seen it myself. Though it looks really silly from what I've seen. ::sweatdrops again::

Karasu and I were obsessed with that for a while, but I just *know* we're going to hate the ending. I mean, no matter what they do, we'll probably hate it. Being CLAMP, after all. And they keep *doing* things I hate, so the odds aren't good.

My lesson for the day: never try to send a friend up to get your laundry bag if you forget it while doing laundry, because then you'll get in trouble for having an unescorted guest in the dorm, and when you've already gotten in trouble for having candles in your room and hanging windchimes from the pipes, this means you end up on the list of "screw up one more time and you'll lose your housing", which is the list I'm now on.
...that's the kind of day I've had.

I woke up early due to construction, and couldn't get back to sleep, but for some reason I'm not as tired as I normally would be, given that I got to bed at two a.m. Weirdness. Ah well, no complaints here.
And now, thanks to the unexpected free time, I have a purdy new layout. I *do* go through the things, don't I. I think I get bored too quickly. Anyway, it's Yohji-kun from Weiss Kreuz, who's one of the hottest anime guys out there in my opinion, and also manages to be adorable much of the time, too. I got this picture from one of all the Weiss boys which I actually have as a mini-poster that I scanned in.
And now I have lover layouts, because also in my opinion, YohjixSchuldig is like the best thing ever.
I think I had other things to blog about, but mostly I just hate school. This honors project is breaking my bank. -_- I really wish the school library had free copiers. I mean, I understand why they won't let us take the reference books out of the library, but when you need to have 20-25 works to cite for a research proposal... yeesh. Of course, now I have to *read* all the stuff I paid to copy yesterday. But oddly enough, I'm in a fairly good mood. Must be Yohji's influence on me.
