There was a really good line in John Doe, too, but I don't remember what it was. I just remember cackling when he was getting together with the other geniuses. That episode was damn funny when you consider that it was about a whole bunch of people having their brains removed.
But I felt so bad for him at the end, wah. ::snuggles him::
Moving on... I was not online yesterday because I was spending an entire day doing nothing again. I've grown very fond of these days. I did watch TV, and I read a lot. Finished Obsidian Butterfly, one of the Anita Blake books. And for those of you who have read them and know what I'm talking about, Edward rocks my world. Seriously. He's my favorite character in that whole damn series, even though he only shows up in about half the books. And he's so *cute* when he's being all protective of Peter and Becca! ^___^
Though I really like the wereleopards, too... especially Nathaniel and Zane. And Jason, while I'm listing my favorite characters. ::sigh:: Too bad they're only fictionaly. *I'd* sleep with Jason. ::coughcoughmovingon::
And I made a new layout, too, so Shigure might be going byebye soon. Which is really sad. I go through layouts far too quickly. But there are just so many characters I want to make layouts of!!
Anyway, it's gorgeous here today, so I think I'm going to go in search of adventure.

Well, because I promised I would and because I had some free time before I had to go to dinner, I did a very small fic site update to put up chapters 41 and 42 of Genesis X, in which Adam and James both react very badly to the events of chapters 39 and 40. ::sweatdrops::
And now I'm going to go hide, because I know at least one person who's going to want to kill me for where I left off.

The weather here is abysmal today, and it's making me depressed. Stupid weather. It's all cold and damp and foggy. Blech.
In other news, my life has been utterly boring of late, thus the lack of bloggage. Also, the fandom has been snitty of late, so there hasn't been much blogging I've wanted to do.
My parents are coming for Thanksgiving, and giving us our Christmas presents then. Having given them the URL for JPQueen, now I will cross my fingers and hope against hope that they'll get me some manga. There isn't really any anime out there that I can ask for, since anime tends to be expensive, but cheap manga? That I can hope for. ::fingers still crossed::
I want to do another Yami fic. I'm not really sure why. Mostly because I just adore the characters so much that I'd miss them if I never wrote them again. Alas, I have no ideas, except for giving Tsuzuki and Hisoka small children to deal with, which isn't really something I can base a fic off. I don't think.
I'm aware that I'm babbling, yes. But I haven't blogged for a while. Shigure is lonely.

Then I saw a commercial for one of the people I was considering voting for, then realized that due to my placement in the state, I have been seeing commercials for Massachusetts as well as New Hampshire all this time. I took a day off from life yesterday. It was surprisingly nice. I only had one class in the morning, then for most of the day I just sat around with Karasu-chan and did nothing. We talked. We planned our comic. We gushed about Arcana. We ordered Chinese food that we couldn't afford and stuffed ourselves silly. We watched TV. It was very nice. Long time since I've had a day like that.
Then around half past midnight I got bored and started writing. I'm going to finish Genesis X pretty soon if I keep going at this rate. Yay, me! Then the fun part of editing and stuff.
Anyway, going. Gots lunch to go to. Then I think a date with Excel Saga... which I don't really want to see but if Mark doesn't shut up about it I might have to kill him.

Four: Sloane is also very cute.

I am back. But not signing online, because... ugh. I think I'm coming down with a stomach bug of some sort. On and off for days now I've been feeling queasy, but today it was worse and not ignorable. So in the hopes of ignoring it, I'm going to go to bed early.
....it probably didn't help that I didn't get any dinner. I took a sandwich with me, but it was quite bleh.
And I've changed my mind. I do believe in love, and it's mostly because of my friends Natalie and Geoffrey, who just got engaged. I don't believe love is a big cure-all or that it can even help a lot of problems, but I believe it exists. Not that I personally have much luck with it, but I'm siding with my neechan here and saying that I'm allergic to committment.

Will be gone most, if not all, of tonight. Going on a field trip with the music department here to see the Boston Symphony Orchestra give a live dress rehearsal! Very cool, and apparently I was just having a bad allergy day, since I feel a lot better today. Life is moderately good.
Now I have to go make flyers for my dorm stating the guest policy, since I got nailed on it. This... really sort of hacks me off, but I guess I'll survive.

For all those who usually see me on AIM, I don't know if I'll be on tonight... I think I'm coming down with something. My head is killing me, eyes are itchy and watery, nose is plugged and throat is sore. This spontaneously developed over the course of two hours. Usually I get more warning before viruses wham my system.
So I will probably want to go to bed early, but I know that if I sign on, I *won't* go to bed early, so... eh. Maybe I'll be on, maybe I won't.

I've come to a not so profound conclusion. I think it was late last night while I was really tired and sort of angsty and depressed. I don't believe in happy endings. I really don't. They just don't happen in real life. Life is shitty and most of the time things don't go the way we intend or the way we want. There's no such thing as happily ever after. Or even, as Kakyou said in Atropos (I think it was Kakyou, anyway), reasonably ever after. Happy endings are entirely a figment of our petty little imaginations.
And that, more than any other reason, is why I love reading and writing them so much.
And if this offends anyone... you know, I'm getting a little sick of saying that. It's my opinion anyway. I like happy endings. That doesn't mean people aren't entitled to write sad ones, or angsty ones, or even horrible ones. ((::coughsCLAMPcough::)) It just means that I won't like them. So now I'll just return to my little corner and do my psychology homework.

Yeah.... I had something to blog, but I've forgotten it. The network is being slow and pissy still. I'm annoyed for a variety of reasons and doing homework.
But it's Pumpkin Fest Weekend! So I can't stay annoyed for long. Right now, my town holds the record for the number of lighted jack-o-lanterns in one place at the same time. We're trying to break the record again. Our goal: 25,000!

But hey, it's still fun to walk up and down Main Street and look at them all, even though it's raining this year.
