Saturday, May 25, 2002,07:20 a.m. I failed. I failed. I was ten damn points short. I hate myself. I hate their stupid service. I should have remained happily ignorant for a while. >_<* Nobody mention "SAT" to me for a while...until I HAVE TO BLOODY START STUDYING AGAIN. *cries* Sign Log||View Log Friday, May 24, 2002,12:21 a.m. WOOOOOOOOT~ I'm free I'm free I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEE~ And I got a 95 on Precalc final. BOOYEAH! *jumps around screaming like a nut* So it was worth five hours of drilling holes into head last night! *jumps some more* And tomorrow...SAT...@_@ Too many thrills for one person, I tell ya. *scream* Sign Log||View Log Sunday, May 19, 2002,08:38 a.m. I'm looking back at a manga version of Genghis Khan. He's got manelike red hair and rippling pectorals. *makes face* Even stranger, I'm listening to Chinese visual kei--"Wind Organ" by Silver Ash, to be exact. Most interesting. "Who is it in the dark that takes you from me? Joy and melancholy can no longer by controlled (by me)" And...in case you're still not annoyed enough...please get a weblog! Was it stress or something? 0_o;;; Considering my minor stomach complaint after consuming 1/2 of my daily saturated fat allowance in a total of five minutes yesterday...very strange. All riiiiight! *jumps up and down* *dies of bliss* Looks like everyone else is suffering from finals too. You have an exceptional sweet tooth for candy with a personality to match. If you can't brighten up someone's day, no one can! I realize that this subject is one of the most over-abused in flame wars, fangirl squabbles, and many such petty arguments. (Just by having this weblog I have already admitted to my pettiness, so no harm done...~__-) MEN ARE NOT BISHOUNEN. The root of the problem is the fact that lots of dilettante-type fangirls misunderstand "bishounen" to mean any "hot guy". Bishounen denotes a "beautiful boy." Not a beautiful, hunk-like, mature, ascetic, whatever-you-like male above age, oh, twenty or at the most, twenty-three or so. In fact, that would be stretching the definition. In case the point isn't quite clear enough for you: Examples of bishounen ("beautiful boys"): Kamui of X, Hisoka of YnM, Prince Arislan, Kotarou of Sono te, Shuuichi of Gravi, young Subaru of TB, etc... I don't know about actual native Japanese speakers, but in Chinese at least the kanji "bishounen (mei shao nian)" connote a sort of delicate, nearly feminine beauty. Like the Greek myths of Ganymedes and Hyacinthus--that kind of "feel". Examples of biseinen ("beautiful youths"): Subaru of X, Yuki of Gravi, Mamoru of Sailor Moon...more of the "mature man" feel. Age range somewhere in early twenties. After that...I guess they're just "hot guys"... Sign Log||View Log Sunday, May 5, 2002,07:21 a.m. Well. I survived the Day of Doom intact. Don't wanna jinx myself by saying anything too optimistic, but it wasn't much worse than the majority of the mock-exams I've done. So---with a mite of luck I will never have to see another stupid ****ing SAT book again! Ahahahahah! So, since now that's done with, am back to working on that Sono fic. Looks like another sticky sappy thing, folks. ~________~ Oh, by the way, went to the library book sale as planned yesterday. (Seven books for $4.75!) So, got Fire from Heaven, Watership Down, Interview with the Vampire, Good Omens, The Mask of Apollo, Wuthering Heights, and Catch 22. A good haul. Then, went off the the shopping center and bought requisite stuffs for mother's day, also this month's Animerica--I don't even know why I purchase that magazine, it's not like it really does me (little miser) any good. *shrug* Sign Log||View Log Friday, May 3, 2002,08:18 a.m. *snorts*. If I'm not mistaken, aren't most Singaporean women of descent of one of those countries he mentioned as having "docile" female populations? Was checking referrers just now: "Hiead/Zero yaoi lemon fic" seems to be popping up rather too often. Is there no good GOA yaoi out there for you poor people? Since I'm such a nice person, here is a recent find of mine on FF.net, for your enjoyment: a real Hiead/Zero lime(none of the lemons I looked at were any good--this one's pretty decent. XD). "Lestat"/"Armand"/"Vampire fanfiction"--like I said before, they're not called fics, they're called specs, short for "speculative fiction"or similar. And despite Ms. Rice's attempts to cut down her enthusiastic fans' energetic attempts at such speculation, there exist several decent Vampire Chronicle sites out there...such as thisone. Or maybe this excellent Armand gallery-site...(Armand's my favorite! ~____~=) Sign Log||View Log Sunday, April 28, 2002,08:54 a.m. I knew it. I knew it all along...
