Once again, I am on the bandwagon...four months late: I watched Moon Child a couple of days ago. Conclusions?
SPOILERS!
Gackt had a heavy and obvious hand in the whole thing. Why else would he get to wear a long white trechcoat, designer sunglasses, and shoot people? Why else would every single named character (and some unnamed) die except for one? And why would Hyde get to wear shirts that fall off his precious little skinny shoulders all the time? Oh, those burning questions.
Best: The obvious slash possibilities (henceforth referred to as "slashability")! XD And of course the both of 'em speaking Mandarin just cracked me up.
Not so Best: Gackt's hair. WTH? And I don't quite get why Gackt-Vampire didn't just take care of Hana instead of Kei. Or why the both of them didn't raise her together(Hanako has Two Daddies! Ahahaha...). Not to mention that the token female (ironically, whose name I have forgotten) was unassertive and had all of 5 lines. Granted, she was supposed to be mute or whatever, but the whole "abused angst" thing was taken a bit far. Just like the movie as a whole was taken a bit too far. But it's Gackt, guess you can't have it any other way.

Well.
Just finished The Vintner's Luck in a little over 24 hours--with 8 hours of sleep, 5 hours of class, and some eating and walking in between. What a breathtaking book. The characters are so dreamy, and yet so real; the Burgundy landscape transmuted into blurs of reality, the entire plot seen from underwater, misted and flickering. Utterly lovely.
Maybe it was on the "western yaoi" list, but hell...if I can ever write like this, I can die happy.
I must sate my burning desire to draw at some point tonight. Aaa, feathers! Aaa wine!

"Men's Clothing" is just better. Before anyone jumps down my throat, know that I am not a male chauvinist pig--or a female one, rather.
Also, sellers on Ebay cannot spell. This appears to be a natural phenonmenon along the lines of Gackt's inability to sing any lyrics remotely English-like in nature. No offense to either party meant.
There exists a direct correlation between regularly listening to Miyavi before going to sleep and the ability to fall asleep whenever listening to Miyavi. He is better than Valium, I swear. X)

Maaaa...AWA yesterday was good fun, and it was excelente seeing you and you and all the other lovely people who came to visit my table.
So, business was good, although holding a table was more work than I thought--last year's artists seemed to be slacking off--then again, I wasn't behind one of those tables last year. Thus I still need to do another round of the dealers' room (which is smaller than last year?) and get me some hot stuff. Mmm mmm.
The con was inefficient and a little crazy, as usual; I feel horrible for being part of that costume mess, my dears. I know that I wasn't very behaving very nicely yesterday. Sorry. It must have been the whole pop singer thing going to my head. X)
Speaking of which! I have photos! And I shall post them (edited of course XD) shortly. 'Cause I know that everyone is dying to see. Of course.

Weather most lovely. Finished Shuuichi costume today, Joy on Earth! Seriously slacking on piano, so will Die come recital time. Am so, so very excited.
Concluded The Lovely Bones day before yesterday. Is like one of those cups of green Jell-o that come in sixpacks. Cute, squooshy, watery-sweet. Will explain in full glorious detail at the meeting of R&R. Mmm yes.
Finally, I need pink temp hair dye. I need it bad. Shuuichi, my "inner self calling from the DNA". *crazed laughter* If you can recognize all the references to Things I Care About in this entry, you deserve a prize. So! Went rafting. Was not as scary as looked or thought would be, but was wetter and, worst, colder. Came home to discover that Wonderful Cousin has sent me a bootleg X Japan photo book, DEG posters, and pictures (including one of Gackt making out with his guitar). Lovely lovely!
In other news: CLAMP has earned, once again, my enternal hatred. I will probably go purchase Large Amounts of their stuffs at AWA-Con, but that does not mean that I have Forgiven them! BWAH! DIE AND ROT IN HELL!
