BL, thanks to Streamload. Finally got a raise at work. Probably going to be a translator for Storm in Heaven soon, so will of course rant endlessly about that when the time comes.
Um, I'm glad that people visit my music site, but do keep in mind that I have limited time to fill all those requests, and that the rotation is purely a side-project. It's risky and time-consuming, so please don't make me have to "go on hiatus" (read: kill the page). I'm selfish too, you know, and importing my already-burned mp3s from CDs isn't fun.

Well. That was depressing. From the Silver Ash Official Website, again:
The bassist of Silver Ash, Mr. Hong, from this summer forth, had not attended band practices and other activities for extended periods of time due to personal problems. He could not fulfill the position of bassist of Silver Ash even with the cooperation of the other band members; the other band members tried many times to communicate with him, to no actual effect. In addition, his recent actions that have influenced the development of the band are truly impossible to bear by the band. Therefore, the band, after conferring with the management of their company, has decided to remove Mr. Hong. Also: Mr. Hong's position will be filled by Mr. h's former band's bassist Yu.
There's a semi-apologetic blurblet at the end by the record company, but...
THEY FIRED HONG?! WHAT THE HELL?!
Not only does that shock me because I lurve SA and support them because they crazy cool Chinese boys, but because Hong is absolutely amazing! As is everyone else...I hope that Silver Ash will not cease activity because of this, because it's been giving off those unmistakable "artistic difference" vibes for a while. I also hope that they'll carry through with the 2004 US tour thing, but I guess that's kind of selfish. Heheheheh.

Wow, scary. Just dropped by Silver Ash's homepage to check on the boys and saw their new look (apparently). Holy shite. They look like a cross between any given neopunk angura-kei band and DEG. The new guitarist...Qing(?) looks like Die, what with the gothy army red haired getup. Ling actually kind of looks like Kyo...I think it's the hair. And Hong...is just scary. Dig the fur coat and black lipstick, boy.
Oh, and it really amuses me that all my referrers seem to be for "gacktxhyde madmanlovesexlemonyaoi fanfiction" and "hotsexy." Hmm. Need I direct everyone once again to my friendly and neglected site? No, I thought not. Hohoho.

Just watched RotK. Head hurts. Thoughts:
Lots of dramatic slow-mo scenes and climactic music a la summer thriller. Lots of noise (hence the headache). Poor treatment of the ending, especially with all those fade-to-blacks and fade-to-whites. Legolas must be endorsing shampoo. Hobbitslash, repulsive as it had seemed, now becomes plausible. The little forehead kiss in the Grey Havens scene made me grin devilishly. Ohoho. Computer effects are cheap...that may just be me, however. In the end, it all comes down to the fact that I was obsessed with LotR back in middle school. It's got nice battle scenes, but you grow out of it. I suppose that I will be blasted with rotten produce now (oh wait, I forgot, no one reads this...guess not then). Meh, whatever.
