Exactly what I was thinking as I watched the President make his speech using "justice" and "freedom" as the purposes of America, and the "hate of freedom" as the prime reason why we were attacked at all. But of course I didn't say it, being as I was surrounded by the spawn of proud Republican loins who declared that "he's doing what he can". That is exactly what makes you deluded in the first place. What happened to real freedom--freedom of speech?
As for this,there's nothing wrong with revenge as long as one's brain is working at the same time.

I was in Chem when we heard of the disaster today, and I'm sure, as I overheard the teachers say, that this will be burnt into our memories like the death of Kennedy to our parent generation. The death of the rescuers, the innocents inside the buildings and the airplanes, and scene after poignant scene of people leaping, horror-movie style destruction...it nearly made me cry and actually did so to a number of the class. Sorrow, disbelief, and shock....numbness. Unprecedented happenings with the stopping of the air service, of public places and even baseball games. All surmounting to something awful and entirely without human feeling. I wonder what the perpetrators of the kamikaze flights felt before they crashed into the steel-and-concrete facade. Incredible. Incredible.
