Another calc test Monday. Going to volunteer at nearby nursing home to play with board games with old people. Exciting stuff, eh? And then later it's off to study group, woo. Feel me pulse with excitement.

AWA was great fun, ah yes. Bought some swag--not enough swag, though. Saw Diamond Century and CLAMP's newest South Side artbook, both of which are on my Wish List, not to mention X Japan and DEG stuff. The Fukki costume did not fall apart, to my great astonishment. Kudos to you two on the brilliant cosplaying skills. Especially with the white duct tape, Enna-kun. XD
So...in total, bought:
-X Movie Poster
-Saiyuki trading cards
-X (Series) trading cards(both were rip-offs >_<)
-A couple of Newtypes and another one...I can't read katakana...T_T
-A couple of clear files (an E'S one and a Saiyuki one)
So all in all, a good day. A very good day. XDXD Can't wait to get the pictures developed.
And of course, another week of the gray, dull place that is ostensibly passed on as education is about to begin...

Well well. Another week gone. *sigh* Life is so very dull. This is possibly compounded by the fact that recently it has been raining like the Great Flood all over again (I can't really recall a day when it wasn't dark and dreary and drizzly or stormy.
AWA tomorrow~ I am prepared to sally forth in my lousy half-tape-half-hot-glue Fukki costume! Just hope it stays together and doesn't decide to come embarassingly apart halfway through the day...

Apologies to you and you for suddenly vanishing last night--someone shut off the computer while I was showering and I took that as a sign to retreat. *sigh*
Midautumn festival was...well, interesting, I suppose. As usual there was the huge gathering of Chinese people (which felt weird after such a long time without being at one of these things), joke-telling, and karaoke. One man performed some tai chi (tai chi performed quickly is quite a formidable martial art). Of course there was the food and moon cakes (I ate some dou sha and some lian rong<--I think it was lian rong, anyway...). Felt inspired to write Gravi fic. Started to on my antique laptop(not this one, since it'd been shut off and all), didn't finish. Ay. Maa. Calculus. *shivershudder* Maybe if I work some more I can get above an 84, all I need to bring my test average up right now...and boy does it need to come up. >_<

Well. Got a whole two hours of sleep last night (or this morning, rather...) due to the wonders of Earthian and DDR. Go inept Chihaya whose friends all die. Go steamy half-second of manlove XDXDXD. Kagetsuya, I'll take care of you...*laughs insanely* Got a haircut (finally). It is indeed rather perky, although my stupid hair refuses to stay put. *glares at head*
As though you weren't scared enough, I went on the road the very first day behind the wheel. 0_0 I've given fair warning...
No school Friday! JOY! *dances and prances* But do have another Calc test next Monday...T_T

I know it's been said already, but those plane-crashing terrorists were anything but cowards or idiots. Americans beware: the greatest empires in human history were destroyed by their own fallacies. Take warning.

They were all wearing "patriotic" colors at school today. Then there was a singer from the chorus (she sang "God Bless America", I believe) during lunch break.
I wore purple and, upon discovering that she wasn't singing the national anthem, sat down and then stood to applaud her because she was an excellent singer. It's not because I'm anti-American, it's not because I was glad that the two-thousand odd people died. A more appropriate color might have been black for mourning--yes, it was an awful event, unexpected and tragic. But what about those Afghan civilians dying in bombings and from sheer exposure? What about people all over the world who die in even more meaningless ways? Who's mourning them? Somehow American lives are worth more than any other nation's. And tell me, where's the "justice" and "equality" in that?
