Three days back of school. . . . and of course everything is different from what I thought it would be. Mondays start off with the horrible ex marine Karate teacher. . he feels it is his job to demean things he can't understand. Then comes my anatonmy class. Not a thing wrong there, except it is too late at night ^_^, but I AM picky. My religion class is going to be a blast, and I look forward to it. US History will be pleasantly boring, and my PS class is severally disappointing. And I have been recently addicted to the Megatokyo forums. .. under the alias of Ping, one of the characters in the story. I really don't know why nobody had taken the name before hand. Ping, by the way, is short in cyborg for "person intended for noctournal gratification". I was going to put it on my signature, but after finding out what is was, I decided it prolly wasn't the best idea. ^^;;; Universal Comics stuff is going slowly, but still going. I have to start searching for a new manga artist again soon. . . THAT should be fun! ^_^ Anyways. . have LOTS of homework to do, and some forum searching ^_^

1. What is your favorite manga? Ah! What tough questions! I usually fall in love with which ever manga I am reading at the time, but for right now, my favorites would be "Chobits" by CLAMP, and Hikaru no go
2. What is your favorite anime? Ah! Do I have to choose? There are just too many! DB and DBZ definitly rank up there, as well as MagicKnight Rayearth, Samuri X, Spell Wars and soooo many others.
3. Who are your influences? I know I have seen this one before. Influences? The ppl around me have always influenced me, for better or for worse. But I suppose you are talking about the art and writing influences, eh? Art would be Toriyama and CLAMP, but before them, it was my best girl friend Katya, with her amazing ability to draw manga and anime. Writing influences would be Ray Bradbury, K A Applegate, and every single author that has writen a book I picked up. O.o

5. Who is your favorite band/singer? Efiel 65. . if I could only have on CD for the rest of my life, it would be Europop! ^_-

I was having a friend critque one of my drawings I am working on today, and he told me one of most absurd things. He said that the right hand was grand piano shaped!! ROFL! I have never, ever had one of my hands refered to as grand piano shaped before! I am moving up in the world I suppose.
I have spent most of my day drawing, and downloading manga from the site linked above. I love +Anime! Very good! ^_^ Okay, enough for now. . I will post the CGed pic when I am done if you are lucky.

I know that I promised some big long entry about Iowa and the campus, but I am in the middle of D&Ding and chatting, and it is not going to happen. I guess I can give a brief summary.
I was abducted from my house with less than 12 hours notice and rushed off to Iowa. Skipping all the zaniness of the drive up to Iowa, and the insanity that went along the sleep deprivation, we arrived 20 hours later in Iowa. The campus is awesome. Very peaceful, and spreadout. And it's not like U of H where I would have to worry about being shot going to school. ^_^ (It's not really that bad, I am exaggerating). I could see myself there in a year. It will be hard to leave this city though. I wonder how many anime cons come to Iowa? None I bet. Okay, enough about Iowa, more to come the next time I feel like gracing this blog with my presence.

well well. . . I haven't updated this page in 4-ever! I just got back from Iowa City, visiting the univeristy's campus. I have been gone for a week, and things are crazy around here. But the miracle of all miracles, Brian, my writer for Tech Force made his deadline with a few hours to spare. And the script is pretty good too. I just wish that I could get in touch with the manga-ka right now. Or David for that matter. I didn't tell him I was going on vacation because I didn't know that I was until hours before I left. And he wouldn't pick up his phone. So right. Tomorrow I will go into all the crazy details of the trip, but it is too early right now. And it's my mom's birthday!!! Happy Birthday Mom! ^_^
