Kleptomaniac version 4 features Dark Moussy from Yukiru Sugusaki's manga, D.N.Angel, semi based around the theme of a rant on Dark I did. Scanning and graphics by Kimiko. This time Kimi decided to go with the dirty grunge look with a splashing of pixels. Lyrics are from "Across The Night" by Silverchair. Fonts from [link]. Grunge brushes from [link]

Kimi: Well, I did warn you I was on a D.N.Angel high.... It's not... too grungy is it? I hope those headings aren't too hard to read.

Maths exam.

I always thought that deal with your brain overheating was something Pratchett made up.

Until today.

Maybe women shouldn't study, after all.

Do guys feel steam rising out of their ears when they attempt to think for more that 10 minutes?

But I was sick yesterday.

And my brain doesn't normally overheat.

Normally.

Oh, so you did come to school today.

Saw Chrno Crusade ep.16 the other day.

...

Does that explain what I though of it? Except they had a little flashback of Fio and Stella. That was cool.
And then Aion ruined it all by:
1) Sticking his tongue down some woman's throat. Um. As in, he kissed her brains out, metaphorically speaking.
2) Snogging Stella straight after that.
3) Shoving his hand into 'where it don't belong' if you catch my drift.

*snarls* MangaAion is much cooler and sexier than AnimeAion! And he doesn't have to womanize to do so!

Saw Chrno Crusade volume 7. Fio is such a cool character, I really want to know what conversation she's been having with Joshua though.
And is Asmaria dead? (As well?) She just sorta dropped after that... thing rose out of the sea.
Hmmm... for once, it wasn't Tokyo that got blown to bits. That's nice, in a sort of not-really nice way. I'm very impressed with the art, beautiful!!!
Stella was pretty cool too. It must be so disappointing for her, having spent all her life searching for her sister and only to discover... Gee.

I was looking forward to Rosette meeting Joshua. Which didn't happen. Man, I want Vol 8!

The kid can really play that organ.

Did that sound odd to you?

Well, he can!

Should study. Really. I've spent the entire day slacking off. Bad Kam! Bad! *whine whine*

Good news: finally realised there were text translations of CC vol4 on J-comx. I hang head in shame; I stopped checking that site while they were still debating whether or not to provide them. Oh, Faithless one! Also, finally read Inu Yasha vol 28. Hells, she really knows how to drag a "plot." I only read IY for Mr-I'm-So-Damn-Hot demon boy, but he only showed up in like one panel.

I'm gonna frame that.

Come on! I wanna read some ass-whooping on his behalf, here! Ass whooping!

Whoo~ Had strange dreams... just woke up. Yay for first frees.

Anyway~ The first one started out kind of relevant, but then it degressed somewhat. I went to school, only to have forgotten it was mufti day. Only it wasn't really school, because I distinctively remember a lake surrounded by some sort of palace complex, and all these people were dressed up in fantasy-esque clothes. Don't remember if anyone from our group was there, however. So, upon not wearing mufti, I decided to go back home and change. I'm not sure if the next part was part of the same thing, because I have a feeling Edward and Alphonse from FMA were in it, only Alphonse was a normal kid. Ed I'm not so sure about. He was riding a bike, only he kept on having to stop every now and then because something hurt. For some obscure reason he may have had a parachute on the back of his bike. We had to break into someones house (maybe mine, I can't say. Didn't look like my house anyway) a special way, by sort of flicking this large brush-like instrument at the glass pane to break it. Then we used the brush to get the glass bits out of the edge of the pane, only all these shards kept on pouring out, upon which the door turned into large tree-roots, and all the glass tumbled over it like a fountain. Don't remember how it ended, except I think it had Edward trying to cycle up a large hill unsuccessfully.

The other one started with this huge, cataclysmic battle on the top of a crater, with a medi-evil guy on horseback (and wearing sunglasses...) slaying minions with an oversised sword. He got knocked off, but I can't remember if he was on the winning side or losing side. I'm assuming I was on the victors side, because we were all gathered beside a towering structure with holes leading down into the earth. It was called God or Heaven's Crevace or somesuch, and as the victors we had come to fill it up. I have no idea why, but I remember thinking "but if we fill it up, what happens if it causes the earth to blow up? Or we get heavenly retribution~?". Oh well, we filled it up anyway, and when we did all this water came and filled up the crater. And these strangely shaped islands with smooth undersides floated up to the surface. It was an awesomely beautiful landscape, actually, and we sailed back across it to (I assume) our land of origin. The ships themselves were very cool, although I remember making the template for one out of paper, and the crater was actually my room.... Eh, go figure.

Alas, when we were halfway across the lake, we did in fact get attacked by 'heavenly retribution', or whatever it was. The people took over our ships and city, and had a strange set of rules which we had to follow. And they confiscated my scanner and took the label off~! So when they held a conference for all the people of the city to voice their complaints, I demanded to know when I could get my proper scanner back. Was surprisingly upset about it, since they gave me one of their scanner, but I wanted my scanner. I specifically remember wanting the label back because it had something to do with a contract with a skiing /snowboarding company, and their advertising wouldn't work in the name/label was changed.

Strange....

I... I... I'm so traumatized.

Now I really want to get my hands on Chrno Crusade, it looks like it's ending soon, at what? 8 volumes? I can handle that.
And besides.... oh gosh. I haven't felt this way since Angel Sanctuary ended.
I didn't know.... /she/ died but was resurrected, but I should have because that would've /explained/ so much! I didn't know the /other girl/ died as well... and I certainly didn't think /she/ would die... It's just so unfair. I love how Joshua recovered though. I think I've seriously fallen in love with Joshua. He is so bloody /hot/ when he's all grown up and kiling people angsting. I still love Chrno, but I reckon the anime's kinda done him in for me. T.T
She shot him! She had the guts to shoot her own brother! Sure, it was to break off one of his horns, but still! She couldn't do it before! I love Rosette (manga-form please!), she was one of the few female protagonists I liked.
And poor, poor Chrno! But he does look oh-so-sexy in his demonic form. Oh yes. With the horns, or without, it makes no difference to me (Although I think he looks better with 'em, since then he's not killing the people he loves.)

So traumatized. And heartbroken. Damnit Daisuke Moriyama is good! He's gonna go up there with my manga greats, like Kaori Yuki, Mukai Natsume and Hiroyuki wossname. Oh yeah, Kouyu Shurei is pretty good too.

You know, I think I worked out the significance of the dog coming out of the bag dream I had this morning. Lina came over and she brought her dog. (Skittle: adorable little chap, gets all hyperactive for no reason. Sweet.) She brought him in a shoulder bag, that, while did not look anything like Tintin's backpack, still put me in mind of Sirius, with his head sticking out and tongue lolling.

Finished part 1 of my Chemistry revision. It's taken me a week to summarise last term's work. I haven't even looked at this term's! Gee, this is going to hurt....

Have given up on Toriyama World, ever since they dropped Naruto and Hikaru. Have decided to form a ragtag group of willing fans to aid me in scanlating +Anima. The girl who's doing the translating is very good, I must say.
Except, I wish people paid more attention in English lessons, nowadays. I hate it when they get 'their' and 'there' confused.
And now... I need to borrow Lina's scanner again.

Just had another one.

I dreamt Tintin was busting Sirius Black out of Jail (he stuck him in his backpack) and then there was a great big car chase and Sirius was yelling about how a car is no way to escape (Since I believe Tintin has one of those tiny vintage cars) and then they saw this pizza boy (about 10 yrs) waiting outside a cake shop, his motorbike still had the engine running. This was a great big hulk of a machine, though, literally monster truck size, and Sirius went 'Oooooh!' and they pulled the car over, upon which he relieved the kid of his vehicle and Sirius sped off down the M2 motorway screaming in joy.

Funny, that could almost have made sense, except for the bit where Tintin pulled a black dog out of his backpack.

I really need a dream interpretor. Maybe I can find an online one.

[Edit: apparently the best dream interpretors for dreams is the person who dreamt them. I have to ask questions like: "Why a dog? What does a dog mean to me?" and assign labels to characters that appear, ie, Libby: Miss Artsy and Kimi: Miss Whiny (kidding! :D). So... what does Sirius represent then? Last time I dreamt he was lounging on a bike (I notice that motorbikes are nearly always in conjunction with said character, this must have something in relation). Maybe he's Childhood or Impulsiveness. Makes me wonder what Tintin is meant to represent. Mr PingPongBallHead.]

Dream Log Update [Stupidity Warning]:

Dreamt I had a Lillipea for a pet. Very odd. They have to dig holes and burrows before the snow settles, and then they sort of huddle in there for all of winter where it's not so cold and hatch their eggs.
You know, the ones that grow on their head.
Apparently most of them injured themselves someway or another while hatching and spend the rest of that year in hibernation, healing.
And the baby lillipeas dig themselves out and go off to investigate the big, new world.
My lillipea wasn't in her burrow. And she was dying! Dying! Oh, the horror! And we tried all sorts of stuff, burying her in blankets, pillows, next to a fireplace (which was, incidentally, outdoors) but she wasn't getting any better! I was so upset. And then someone told me how lillipeas hibernate after they give "birth" and how we had to find the oak tree she planted when she was younger, because they have some sort of spiritual connection with it. And we found it and there was a burrow and we put her in and then, like five minutes later, this baby lillipea pops out of the snow and runs away into the wild and straight after that, another one pops out but this time it stays with us, because the mommy lillipea has hurt herself and is currently rejuvenating.
There was a big, yellow, plastic slide somewhere in there too.

I'd like to get a dream interpretor. Someone that could tell me just what kind of significance a dream like that is supposed to have upon my daily life.

Oh yes. And the day after that I dreamt I was blind and was being led through Iraq by my mad son. Funny thing that. Looks like King Lear finally got to me.

Back to study now.

Wtf? *rolls around on the ground laughing*. These people are odd, but funny... in a painful kind of way. This quote made me crack up ->

' "Buns of Steel used to snap a cactus with his buns, but he has too many needles still in there that he can't get out, so now he uses glass instead," says Nambu. "Glass is no problem because he has buns of steel." '

This is what happens when you click on strange looking articles at the SMH...

*salivates*. Well, I didn't have to wait that long for more Resi 4 info. Hot damn, that game looks like it's going to be different, but in a good way. Now you can finally shoot of a zombies leg if you really want to. It seems a lot more interactive than the other ones in the series, but given how many times one complains about the sheer illogicality of having to find some godforsaken item when in all theory you should just be able to break down the friggin door or whatever (or, goodness, knows, find some water instead of having to go through ten rooms to find a fire extinguisher), it's a welcome change. It even looks like you might be able to fight zombies if you have no ammo (either that or it just looks suspiciously like Leon is about to kick that zombie).

The out door setting doesn't give it the full Resi feel so far, but I can tell it's going to have a similar feel once you get use to the newness. And Leon looks really hot cool too. They changed his shirt from the trailer though, so now it's like... clingy o_O. And his jacket isn't quite as fluffy, so he looks less like Squall. I like this description from the preview though;

"Blessed with the truly crappy luck of anyone in a Resident Evil game, Leon winds up on a quest to discover who or what is behind the disturbing things he's seen while trying not to die horribly and painfully in the process."

And who cares about head-shots... now you can shoot zombies in the ass~! XD... Argggggggg, want this game nowwww~! Why couldn't it bee released in our winter, instead of the northern hemisphere one...

*snigger*. Was looking for that picture of yours, but came upon this. Second row, on the right. The subtitle amuses me highly. Probably taking it out of context since I don't know the story to Richard II. But you never know...... *grins in very fangirlish manner*

I'll try to find that thing at school since I can access the SMH archives... or just search randomly on the internet.

Gosh, you respond quickly.

I just remembered another bit of nes. I mean, news.

Chrno Crusade has been licensed. Can't say I'm particulary annoyed or anything. It's only been disappointing me so far. Uh that Christmas episode could have KILLED me! And the one where Rosette had to get the 'cure' for Chrno's Flu? WTF?! YOU SUX, YE HEAR? SUX! The one reason why I liked the manga so much was that while there clearly was some kind of /tension/ between the two, it was never fully explained, as if both of them didn't really want to lose what they already had - a close friendship without all the sexual crap. So the anime PISSED ME OFF, yes it did.

But I really want to see Joshua and Rosette's reunion. And the Pandemonium flashback was quite good, I reckon all the flashback scenes are good. Why can't Gonzo stay constant, for crying out loud? *sighs*

I'm sure there'll be underground subbers around, if you know where to look.

Oh yeah. I found Wolf's Rain 29 and 30, but I'm still checking to see if the links are reliable. Will announce to world if so.

You still owe me a sexy Ian McKellen image.

[Whee, happy birthday to Seele as well~ XD. Hmm, how does it feel to no longer be a 'teen', I wonder? Probably not that different really ~_~. Although I read in the paper that people now are having QLC's - Quarter Life Crisis x_X]

Which reminds me, Kam~ Saw this on the front page of the SMH website and thought you might be interested X3

Wtf, brain not working very well at the moment. I thought you were talking about Edward from FMA for a second, and the initial thought was "Wth. By what standards do you mean, 'he was tall'? o_O...". Well, out of the ones we've seen so far he was the best looking. Although the Brooke production one wasn't too bad either [edit - Wait, no, I'm thinking of Edgar in that one].

Mwah. Not much to say, really... need sleep... haven't had a free afternoon/evening all week so far. Thank goodness for first frees.

[edit] And what exactly are you implying by "And don't anyone say a thing about subliminal messages, I've gotten enough of those from Kimi!" >:D.... *pause*..... o_O. It's not my fault~ Ever since we learnt the phrase 'double entendre' I keep on reading into things too much >_>

[Edit: Happy Birthday to Seele! He's 20 which is still young! (not that I can talk, really >_<)]

[Edit Edit: *blinks* I forgot I had turned 17. /Forgot./ Birthdays get so repetative after a while, sooner or later everyone forgets.]

I had alot of stuff I wanted to log, but the internet refused to work so now I'm sort of all out.

Some good news. I got my Pirates DVD. Excuse me for sec.

/sounds of fangirl screaming in background/

I don't think Edmond was that handsome, really. He was tall and had some really cool shoes. And his pants were certainly interesting. But most of the time we weren't looking at his face, when you do though, it's not as fascinating as, say, his legs. My english teacher kept on bagging the production out, which is really annoying since she doesn't really let us voice our own opinions about it and it's sort of drowning out my own thoughts.

I had two interesting dreams that I wanted to record.
Has anyone played Dark Alliance II on Xbox? Yeah? Well, you'd understand this dream a bit more that the average Joe. Well... Um, you see. Mordoc, the vampire overlord who does not look very interesting at all, was apparently serving some greater evil (funny, how dreams can sometimes be true) sort of unwillingly (not sure about this) this is so embarassing-

Oh wait! I've just been told on Paravia that SF is not coming out in December, rather she'll be splitting it into two and /Traitor's Knot/ will be released instead! I'm sort of happy, sort of not, but it doesn't matter really, because I'm estastic about her republishing! WAHHH!! Goooo Janny! *runs around screaming*

- *cough* Yes, back to that dream... I can't remember the name of his top underling, but long story short... yes- I admit it! It was slashy and FREAKED THE HELL out of me! ARRGH! And don't anyone say a thing about subliminal messages, I've gotten enough of those from Kimi!
WTF-Level: high.

The other dream was more funny. Earth was being attacked by floating brain suspended in glass bubbles and flying saucers, and we had to destroy them all before they did something nasty to us (details sketchy) and Lady Sybil Ramkin from Discworld got kidnapped but she went at them with nails and teeth and they returned her, rather hastily, to Arithon who was sent to save humanity (um, again). And (now I'm laughing my head off) they turned this whole thing into a full on concert, since really all Arithon had to do was sing and they'd get all confused and we could send them crashing into the mothership core much like they did in one of those Star Wars episodes!
WTF-Level: high.

*sighs* Good dreams, that one was, good dream.

Which reminds me, Aarti thought up some movie titles for that Limpet Dream.
Star Wars Episodes 7: The Secret Wedding
Star Wars Episode 8: A Divorce Made in Hell.

Excuse me again while I laugh up my dinner.

Omfg I'm tired... it took me three tries to be able to spell Kleptomaniac properly to log in x_X. Production of King Lear was goo though. Will give certain admonitions for bouts of fangirlism however. Could not help but snigger when Edmond walked on stage wearing leather pants. And then as the eye followed downward one couldn't help but be somewhat transfixed by his uberly spiffy boots. Kam may recount how she wanted to ask at the end how he managed to get into them (the pants, that is). We probably spent more time looking at his boots and pants than we did looking at his face, which was a bit of a shame really. Out of all the productions we've seen so far, he was teh most leechably handsome Edmond. The boots were too cool though. They had metal strips on the back of the heel, and buckles. I mean, god damn, I want a pair of boots like that!

Hmm, ah... must sleep. Thank goodness I have a free tomorrow morning, or else I'd be fux0red.

I wanted to wear my stockings to school... but my mum won't let me because she knows the principle would chuck a fit. Damn that man for accusing me of wearing too many bracelets! Pah

Boots are all very swell and good. But when you walk around the city for 4 hours wearing a pair with semi-high heels, you get a rising urge to want to f*cking kill the person who invented them >:O. Argg my poor feet. Took some more photos and found that shoe store. It's near that big glass buss stop at Central, although the boots there weren't quite as cool as I vaguely remembered them. Still, will probably come back later anyway. Got Fullmetal Alchemist #4 while I was in the city, since Kino was having a sale so it was only 6 bucks. Feel impending sence of forlorn-ness at possible events-to-come in the anime ._. 'snif'. Oh well. Will now attempt to do some work.

/Dead Man/ is such a depressing film.

But I think I know what Gayu meant about the cannibals.

I liked the interaction between the characters.

Especially that one with the hair.

The bit where he asked him for his autograph?

Priceless.

So you went and got fishnet stockings too, eh? That's nice. But I doubt I'll ever wear mine.

Mark was reading +Anima. I think he finds it amusing that people don't know Husky's a girlboy.

Now he's reading To Ride Hell's Chasm. I quite like that book. Maybe I should reread it sometime. Wossnamey, Anya annoyed the hell out of me, though.

ph34r me, for I have fishnet stockings o_O. And boots~! Although they were free... because I couldn't find any I particularly liked in the city. But my mum had bought some new boots recently so she gave me some of her old ones. Ther're funky lace-ups, and they fit, and make me 7cm taller~ XD. And they're not stab-worthingly pointy either, although they add about an inch onto the end of my foot anyway. I still want to find that grungy shoe store I saw in the city, but as of yet have no idea where it is. Well, I have a vague idea, in that it's somewhere between Town Hall and Central. But the last time I remember seeing it was when me and Alana were in the city, and we wandered around everywhere. But yes, the day was pretty successful despite not getting boots. Total booty included some underwear, stockings, hairbrush and candy~ Go the candy... And I did a whole roll of film for art~ May go in again tomorrow since I still have the 400 left over.

Ruka: I have no idea what half the plot lines in the anime were about, or who half the people were o_O. All I know is that the last episode made me want to cringe with a sort of 'Arggg the sappy angsty clicheness!' kind of way. Sincerely hope the manga has a better ending though. Dunno what teh proper thing to do with the jingly's are, but I can rotate them around eachother in a circle. I think that's what you're meant to do with them anyway xD;..

FMA 22 update: ToT... Now I think I know what that spoiler about Alphonse you were talking about is~ [spoiler.. maybe o_O] The fact that you do human transmutation without a soul, you can use your memories of someone instead. It's not going to be the real person, but rather a copy of their personality as you imagined them to be. So maybe Edward didn't actually transmute Alphonse's soul to the armour; He just created a copy out of desperation during the situation, using his memories of his brother... [/spoiler] Wai, I need the next episode ToT.

Yay, I'm going into the city to get some boots tomorrow X3. According to my mum Yohji Yamamoto makes boots similar to Edward's. But they'd be uber, uber expensive o.O. Like, I don't even want to think about how expensive hs boots would be. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find a nice pair in the city. And maybe some funky stockings as well.

Cute but strange....
Ahhhhh! Anime people. o_O That's actually quite disturbing.
I wonder how they walk in this stuff?
Hey, it's that vampire manga, Trinity Blood. I wonder how popular it is. Saw a couple of them around.
Hobbits from, er.. middle asia? xD.
I wonder if anyone got poked in the eye with that hair...
o.O Domo-kun. What the hell is that TV mascot anyway? ToT... It's kinda freaky, really.
Not entirely sure what he's from, but that's one kick ass outfit.

I kinda like Mary and Chrno's relationship.

But they handled that flashback quite well, I thought.

Not that it's not dodgey, however.

And now I'm having Ion and ChrnoTruth slash thoughts.

Why does Ion have to invade people's personal space like that?

He was so close, I really thought he was going to snog the poor fella.

FMA Update. o.O Roy did that? No wonder the guy looked angsty in the preview for #15. Am copying 17+18 now. Alphonse is cute when he's pretending to be a cursed suit of armour~ XD. Am severely tempted to get the FMA trading figures. But they stopped taking pre-orders ToT. So I'll have to wait until June. When I go into the city on the weekend to (hopefully) get some boots, I want a pair like Edward's XD. Hehe. I'm sure I could find something stylish and similar anyway. *is contemplating next Animania con*

Ruka: Random observations are good~ XD I havent' seen any of Bunny-sensei's other manga-turned-anime. But D.N.Angel had me going 'wtf?' a lot. Never mind that I only saw 5 episodes (1+2, 20+ something and the last one). Don't really have much to say other than the opening song is kinda cool, and the manga is much better.

I can hold both my jingly's in my hand, but I'm guessing mine have about a 2cm radius. Or something to that rough estimate. They have little bumps on them too xD. Um.. I wondy if that makes them horny balls or bumpy balls........ *silence*. Oh the lameness. Wah, I want to draw more often but I'm procrastinative >.>. I probably should, or else I'll never get better. But I don't seem to be abole to find the time or inspiration. Oh well~ *goes off to watch FMA*

Ah, the crap one finds on people's livejournals.

This one is my favourite so far though.

Gotta love those hip, iPod possessing, website designing dementors.

Am in the process of finding Lego!Remus. Will post link when find Sirius also.

Finding Sirius.

Now there's a thought.

Who wants to come with me on an expedition past the veil?

[Edit: Here's Sirius! And here's Padfoot! Oh yeah, here's Rem, the unsexy bastard that they've turned him into. Look, there's that horrendous werewolf! Arroooo! And he's got scars on his face, when did Rem ever have scars on his face? Screw you! Screw all of you bastards out there! Screw the casting crew! Arrgh!]

*rolls around on the floor*

.......You know, I think I'm going to have to agree with that statement that he looks better with it. How sad indeed. Arggg his hair~ I always imagine Remmy to be, like.. scruffy and tired looking. Now he just looks like some prat with bad style. Ugh... Oh well, at least Sirius looks better.

In other news... W00t! I hope a fansubbing group picks it up some time. High-res trailer worked jerkily for me, but maybe I'll try later. Klarth has blue eyes? I never noticed. The res was crappy though and I only saw it for a second. Am now utterly confused as to wether they're grey, blue, purple, green, or purple and green. I suspect the latter was probably just because the opening movie file I have for the playstation version is dodgy. Um, rantage... *clings*. Yar, I be the leech. Will watch FMA 14 now, and finish off essay. And then study... Blarg.

[edit] Hmm, after watching it again I have conceded thet they are blue-grey. More grey than blue though... Not that it really matters~ XD;... Arggg I want to watch FMA 15 but it's not downloading >.>. Ugh. I wish I could download this stuff myself instead of waiting for my brother to do it. Not that I have enough space on this comp anyway though.

[edit again...] What the..? How many Tales games are there? o_O I wish that translator would stop turning 'ancestor' into 'posterity'. Reminds me too much or posterior, and likening someones ancestor to someones ass makes for very odd mental images. XP Do not like the look of Klarth's 'ancestor' all that much though... Meanwhile, the latter makes a cute chibi, if eternally disgruntled looking.

[What the hell's with all the edits...] Wow~ Two new Resident Evil 4 screenshots. Yay ._. Er... I wish E3 was nearer. I shouldn't find this as amusing as this (Zombies with chainsaws? Wtf...), but I do. May have something to do with the fact that he's not wearing his jacket xD; (Hmm... since when did Resi let you change clothes during a game?). Wow, have seriously gone on random fangirlish binge tonight. Oh well. On downside of amused sniggerings, 1am is not a good time to decide to study. At least I'm not going to forget Masistius any time soon. No I'm not obsessed with the dude, he's just... memorable. Too bad I don't actually need to remember him.

[Er...] Okay, last random thing for tonight. Found these character sketches for ToP. An interesting old design anyway. You can still see some of the details of teh final version in the game. Not entirely sure about the puffy cloak thing though. He looks too nice and sagely for a 30-something lecher with an inferiority complex toward elves XD;...

Well f*ck o_O. Was supposed to have finished this thing on Lear for Friday, and have about... two paragraphs done so far. Argg. Not sure if I'll even be able to get it finished, even if I could be bothered working on it tonight. HSC... must work... *twitch*. I have an essay for extension and a test on Wednesday~ ToT *wails*. Ugh, maybe I'll just say I forgot it or something. Damn you procrastination! It's so sweet whle you're in the middle of it. But then, of course, it bites you in the ass when you have to sit there staring at a minimal word document that's meant to be an essay ._.

Oh well... I managed a decent FMA fanart anyway. I should draw more often. I wonder if Japanese fanart sites have slashy warnings, but we just can't read them? Probably shouldn't have looked at some of them (Whyyyy~! x_X)... although these ones have nice art. The latter one has some spiffy Eva pictures of Kaworu as well. How the hell do you spell his name anyway? I can never figure out if it's Kaworu or Kaoru.

'Savvy'. Hehe... Damn you, you make me want to see that film now. Maybe I shall save up my fangirlism for when we have a Pirates movie night.

Is it just me do your entries of late seem sporadic and brief...? Must be the breaks between lines or something.

[w00t, FMA #11 is downloading, finally. I'm going to be fux0red for monday anyway *sigh*. Procrastination is the devil. Or the bitch. Or both]

Hmm... Mat moved out today. He was going to do it yesterday, but it was raining so everything in the trailer would have gotten wet. I wonder how long it'll take to sink in that he's not going to be around any more. Probably when I go upstair to find that his room is empty... on the up-side, I suppose, I get the rest of my closet back from dad and his shirts. Heh, I know you read this (sometimes) Mathew~ So good luck on your new endeavours. Live life, have fun, and don't die young. And don't forget you owe me a gig when I turn 18 XD.

And in random news... those jingly hand-massage-acupuncture ball things are rather soothing. Although they seem to annoy the crap out of other people with their clangy chiming. Hehe...

I went to see Once Upon a Time in Mexico with BB.

Depp is too great to become reduced to a mere side character.

It made me laugh, because it was too much like Desperado. Gosh that was such a stupid film.

The guitars were back. Heaven help us.

I thought it better than the first one, though. But that may be the Deppism talking.

Is it possible to look so /good/ while eyeless and bloody?

Yeah. I think it is.

I love that little boy though. I want to be him! I wanna be the chewing gum bike boy!

Am so in love with Johnny.

What was the main character's name? I don't know. He's not important.

Although he does looks really good with the hair flying like that, yes. But he pales in comparison to Sand's skull-fuck comment. Ha! Sadistic freak.

Oh yeah. He said 'savvy.'

Shameless fan service.

*yawns* Should be doing work.. can't be effed. Am going to be fux0red for tomorrow, but oh well.

Ruka: I think I did a large amount of anime and manga skimping during the holidays, and now I'm getting back into it a bit. Of course there's about a billion things I should be doing instead, so as nice as it would be to sit down and watch anime all day, it's not very feasible. The only things I bother/try to keep up with are D.N.Angel, Naruto and FMA. There's a whole bunch fo Scrapped Princess episodes waiting to be watched, as well as Macross Zero, but it becomes bothersome after a while. Honestly, if I came back to the Naruto manga two or three months down the road they scarcely would have moved. And every time I think something fantabulous is going to happen in D.N.Angel, it seems to take two months longer than I thought. Maybe that's why I like FMA of late over other things. It's amusing, angsty, and relatively compact when compared to some other series, which seem to make very little happen during a chapter or 20 minutes of animation. Oh well. Watching anime and reading manga are good procrastination tools XD. Which is probably detrimental to me studying... *shrugs* ._.

Hmm... I think my brother reads this. Oh well. I wonder who actually does read this on any kind of regular basis o_O. Apart from us... *shrugs*

I find this... thing to be very cute xD. I can just imagine it bobbing away on my sunny desk while I study. Oooh, and look. FMA trading figures~ As a set I don't think it's as cool as the FF ones though. As a side note, I like Edwards boots. Mum said I could get a pair of ankle boots sometime XD. Apparently they're going to be 'in' this winter. Unless that was something else which I forgot. There's this grungy looking shop in the city with funky shoes, actually *ponders*

Soo, how does it feel to be... one year older? Not much, I suppose. It's like a transitional year until you finally turn 18 and get to legally do lots of shtuff. That bee is very cute though~

[edit - 8:40pm] Oooh, brother's last night in residence in this house~ Drank first glass of wine. It has an odd taste, but you get used to it. Sweet but then acidic. Makes you kinda drowsy though. Will be sentimentally nostalgic tomorrow when he moves out...

*looks down* Well, uh... damn o_O. There's no way I'm going to be able to formulate a meaningful response at this time of the day. Well, fuck.

I mean, darn.

Don't you ever wish that you could read someone's mind sometimes? I wish I knew what she is thinking. She's so irrational.

Makes me want to slap her good.

And she calls herself an adult? S'cuse me, but last time I checked being able to throw a tantrum in the middle of the carpark is not a pre-requisite to adulthood.

I don't even know /why/. Was it something I said? Well, I only said two sentences to her, you know. I don't think; "oh, no interest in the bookshop, today?" is a liable excuse for getting pissed off.

Maybe it was something I didn't say.

Fuck this. You hear me? /Fuck this./ It's not my problem. She can go and sulk for no fucking reason, she can slam doors, be rude on the phone, show complete fucking disrespect to visitors, but you know what?

It's not my fucking problem. I've had enough of her shit, she can go and dirty her name, but when it all comes down to it, I'm not the one getting muddy, she is.

And I shouldn't care. It's not me.

Oh yeah, fucking beware of the excess swearing. Don't like it? Not my fucking problem.

Kimi's dream hobby list. Because the indecision is killing me... and I don't have enough money.

Tales of Symphonia Trading Figures
6000 yen ($70)
Tales of Phantasia Trading Figures
6000 yen ($70)
Final Fantasy Trading Arts
5000 yen ($60)
Tales of Symphonia Pintre collection.
4200 yen ($50)

Total = $250 *dies*

Kam may like this though~ XD Too bad it's 150 bucks... And Matt may like this, although I don't know how much into Aliens he is any more. I scarce want to think how much 38 000 yen is either o.O

Ruka: lol, it is rather like a two way message board XD. Yeeps, Peace Maker gets even more wierd? And it's been smushed together o_O... *twitches*. I have a feeling that the current D.N.Angel arc has been going on for longer than the Toki no Byoushin. Hmmm, lesse. The date started in the June 2003 ASUKA. Sooo, it's been going for 9 months. Yeah, no wonder it feels like while. Meep, have to go out, will edit this later~

[back] Bleh, my hands smell of chemicals. And I over exposed one of my proof-sheets. Oh well... I finally get to see what my photo's look like~

Now, what was I talking about? Oh yes... Meh, I'm not into X as much as I was ('snif' They killed off Nataku >.>... although Kamui at least looks like he's going to stop angsting and do something for a change), but I agree that it would be nice if they just finished it. X had it's tenth aniversary last year, and they still haven't finished it! o_O I have come to a sad foregone conclusion that X is only interesting when someone dies. Or is about to die. Which seems to happen quite often, actually. But jeebus can't they just off one or the other and be done with it? >.>

*Has been watching more FMA* Wah~ I could just hug those two to death... ToT. Now thst it's gotten past the non-subtlety of the first few episodes it seems to pick up a bit more, the anime. I'm kinda glad they skipped the filler coal-mining episode and got straight into the main plot arc though. It's so much more interesting~ XD

W00t~ The Tales of Symphonia trading figures are on sale X3. Now have a box ordered. 67 bucks though.. ouch. But they don't come out until May anyway. I wonder who the secret character is... I'd love to get a box of ToP figures and Symphonia pins, but they cost too much. And considering I already have half a box of Phantasia figures it seems somewhat superfluous. And then there's also the Final Fantasy Trading Arts which are niggling for a bite of my cash. Argg~ So much to buy, so little money.

Bleh, need to make some History notes.

Ruka: Of course I'm still reading your blog~ XD FMA is good, yeah. Just downloaded chapter 12. Brother insists on getting the rest of Scrapped Princess so we haven't been downloading the anime. Hmm, Kurogane sounds rather... odd o_O. I kinda only read Imon for the art and character anyway. Maybe I'll download a bit just to see what it's like.

The new ASUKA cover is rather odd... It's so.. black and non bubbly~ They always have really hyperactive colours for the covers and spines, and now this one looks really out of place on my shelf. I mean, the last one was fluro pink and blue. I kinda like the picture of Dark on the cover though. Yeah, Lagoon Enjine started up last issue, and was in this months as well. Where the hell is X though? Lesse.. the last time there was a chapter was March 2003. Um, taking a bit of a break, aren't they ._.;. Gosh, I never seem to understand what's going on in D.N.Angel anyway. At least, the subtlties are completely lost on me in my vain attempts to translate it. Oh, there's so many little angst bunnies running around between Satoshi and Daisuke in this chapter though. I almost hope the rabid fangirls desires wouldn't be sated in this arc, but alas it appears that Satoshi and Daisuke will team up to rescue Risa. Or something to that effect

Look, as fun as this is, maybe we should change the direction our current trend of conversation is heading. Towards something... safer, perhaps. Less /giggly/. Less... uh, frightening to public viewers.
I have nothing wrong with ranting, giggling over, sniggering, discussing the male gender in general... but I think it's sad how we can't keep our mind off that pairing business for more than a decent length of time. Maybe what I really mean is, it's sad for me to know that "lube mobile" does not put me in mind of cars and other automobile articles but rather of something completely off topic.... Come to think of it: why would you need a mobile lubricant anyway?

Have to start excavating shelf area for Anima 4... with any luck.

*Jaw drops*
*blinks* Now that's one plot thread that I did not even think of. OMG! OMG! WHAT?!?! Arithon's /rogue talent for prescience/?! *jaw hits floor* That's---! But---! What's happening?! ARRGH! I wanna know NOW!

It's times like this that I wish L-Space was real. I wonder what he foresaw? One doesn't wake up one morning and suddenly realise he can see the future without spurting some prophesy first... And finally Lysaer gets it: somehow I knew this day would come when I first read FP. Well, when I first re-read FP since the first time I read FP I was only really thinking about Arithon and nothing else.

*breathes* Would you look at all that?! Can you imagine the scope of this damn book?! My heart's pounding way too fast to be good. /clans are counting their ruinous losses/ I hope nothing happens to Meanol, the poor man, although I feel he's going bye-bye anyday now. And I hope Mearn's family stays alive ("safe" I would not count on hoping for)
And the Fellowship are so overstrained as it is, is Davien going to stop his sulking and start doing some blasting?

Man, this reminds me of that blood scene in PG... I hate that scene, it always creeps the hell out of me. All those "priests" are f***ing cannibals, I swear! There's something so unholy about them all! DIE DIE DIE! *stab* *stab* Lysaer, you poor boy. Bitten off more than you can chew, eh?

Oh yeah: "catamite, catamite, catamite, catamite, catamite, catamite." Because I know it'll make Kimi laugh. And "walnuts".

I think my +Anima fetish is coming back.... Really.
/Pirates/ DVD comes out on the 17th! Darnit! I don't think I could wait that long... but then again, it's not like I'll have the cash to buy it anyway. But I would really like to see the extended scenes... At least: I heard there were extended scenes, and that's always good. More Jack Sparrow if you catch my drift, ha-ha.

I wagged Chemistry this morning. Not that I meant to, it's just that I was late and couldn't find my class and wandering around the school blocks is so demeaning, so I thought: "screw this, I'm going to the library" Where it's nice and warm. Sydney has the weirdest weather, I swear. There was some sort of black out in Chatswood and it took us a whole bloody hour to drive to school, can you believe that? It would have been better if I had just caught the /train/ for crying out loud. That is, if it weren't raining.

I had a dream about samurai-s and sumo wrestlers last night. Something about how a boy wanted to become a samurai but he had to be a sumo first. Which didn't really make any sense at all. Sam says that all dreams are an indication of your inner being..... Which means that I have an inner fat girl trying to get out. But then again; it also means that I either have a phobia towards kids or a phobia towards red and yellow tights. I can't imagine which would be true.

WARNING: Discworld Rant [Sourcery]

I... have been stirring up my Discworld fetish as well. It's been so long... really. I am still so in love with Coin, the little boy with the killer staff. *cough* That is, a real staff, not some horrible metaphor. I never noticed before... but it's sourcerer not a sorcerer in Discworld. Cute.
I can't help but feel somewhat.... catharsis-y for him, despite the raw power and the whole Dictator-Thing, because underneath all that is a 10 year old boy who only wants to have other playmates of his own age and a train set. And maybe a truck. He was born with enough magical talent to level cities at whim but he all really wants is someone who'll talk to him like a friend. And to make it worse, his half insane and terminally dead father is living out his revenge through him; oppressing in his name, with his magic, and pushing away (or killing) anyone who tries to get close to him. He's really a gentle soul: "I don't like hurting people! It can't be right!" and with a rather strong ingrained moral sense too.
The poor child is so unhappy and there's nothing he can do... that is, until Rincewind shows up. I reckon Rincewind's main defence is his aura of absolute worthlessness. There's no way Coin's real being would allow himself to kill someone who looks "so harmless, like an angry rabbit." Ipslore, knows the depth of Coin's compassion, urges him to kill Rincewind, speaking out loud for the first time, instead of through Coin like usual. Coin resists because he hates the terror reflected in the eyes of the surrounding wizards (and wizzards), the stillness of Carding's corpse and the voice of his tyrannical father. He's a pretty deep thinking sort of child too, he wonders about his own mortality: "What happens to people after they're dead?" perhaps influenced by his own father's fear. He's not a coward nor is he particularly daunted by Death: I believe this is because he's never been physically hurt before being a sourcerer, surely wishing away pain is nothing compared to bringing back the dead. His only fear is really his father, who has drilled a sense of horror into his inner most being: "You know what happens to boys who are bad!" Just that simple threat makes him tremble; which makes one wonder about his upbringing if a child so young can be made to cower like a dog.
The real brown-eyed Coin probably only appears in a few pages of the book, the rest of him is just a doll being dominated by the will of his father: when Carding dies, Coin's immediate response is to resurrect him, but once he has hold of the octarine staff: "If failure had no penalty success would not be a prize." A sort of heartless comment totally out of character with his previous worried little "I wish he wasn't [dead]".
Coin is a naturally curious boy, cultivating a sort of harmless interest in the world around him. He is a child, so while he may have the creator's might he lacks cunning; this is normally balanced by Ipslore's education and guidance. Without the staff he is, ultimately, a wizzard with a half-brick-in-a-sock. Weaker but wiser?
With the loss of both father and Rincewind, Coin is lost: "He watched the Librarian shuffle around and head back for the Tower of Art, and a desperate loneliness overcame him." He's never been by himself before, even at night his father watches over him - Coin may wish for independence, but like most, when faced with true freedom he will desire a commanding voice: "Please tell me what to do!"
Knowing that this world is too delicate to hold someone like him, Coin departs into a whole of his own. Which brings a deeper insight towards the disappearance of sourcerers, better to leave the world as it is, in its beautiful unrefined state, than to destroy it while attempting to conform it.

I love Coin. But right now, I'm seriously considering signing up as Pteppic in that Discworld RPG.

And I though you updated the archive page. Tut-tut.
