Get back to school at 3:15 for Extension one. Spend two hours watching Gosford Park.

More book ranting since I can't remember any dreams lately.
Finally finished Monstrous Regiment (number 29!) So I was thinking maybe I should give it a more regulated format of a review. And then decided: Nah.
Here Be Discworld Spoilers
Generally I find this one alot more agreeable than The Night Watch. Less jargon more action, sort of thing. The one thing I found... annoying, to say the least, was that as it progressed, it fell into the same sort of pattern throughout. Like how at the end everyone (and I mean, everyone) turned out to be females in disguise; after Jade it was getting boring. I'd have to admitt a bit of fangirlism talking on my behalf; I was so fond of that vampire, Maladict. But then again, all vampire radiate coolness so I guess him being Maladicta wasn't too much of a surprise.
Certainly lot more quirky than the Night Watch. But... when are we going to see Rincewind again? I really like him. And that insane Luggage of his.
You may be more interested to know that based on your reviews, I decided to finally read those two volumes of FMA I had on my hard drive. I have all this manga (and anime)just sitting there waiting. Like SDK, and Scrapped Princess. *cough* Anyway, I think I like his little brother alot more. You gotta love the awkward adolescent trapped in the "body" of a six foot encasing of metal. *nods*

Kyahahaha! That's it! I've officially fallen for that dastardly leecherous little bastard. Oh gosh, I'm sorry I broke our agreement: (you don't appear to be turning up at the library anymore) I went and nabbed Howl's Moving Castle home to read. I love that fire demon of his, Calcifer. Very cute despite the demonic appearance.
Oh, I also love those japanese fangirls. And THAT, my friends, is why you should read it before Studio Ghilbi releases it.

Hmm... why do I get the feeling that my efforts at study are falling foul of procrastination again. Must do modern. Bleh. Honestly cannot be f-ed doing a lot of my maths homework. Have no interest in the subject whatsoever.
I reckon I will get 'savvy?' on the back of my jersey if for no other reason that I cannot be buggered trying to think up something highly original and quirky at this stage. Although 'may bite...' is rather cute, but sadly I'm not entirely convinced on it. Maybe 'forget Norway!'. Hehe.. that flash animation still amuses me X3.
*gasp* brother is moving out sometime in the next few months. Whatever shall I do~ I'll miss his CD collection ~.~. It'll feel empty around here though. You always get so used to having your siblings around, I wonder what it'll be like to suddenly walk upstairs and find an empty room. I guess we all move on eventually...
Ruka: FMA has become my new obsession~ X3... We've been downloading the anime as well, although we only have up to episode 2 (downloading 3 now). I think I prefer the manga because it seems less obvious and more subtle than the anime. I mean, you hardly get to know anything about the Elric's mother until quite far in, and suddenly they have flash-back sequences in the 2nd episode. It's rather cute though, but it has some interesting undertones that save it from being your average run-of-the-mill series. And Edward is just so... huggable. Poor guy...
Peace-Maker is so-so, although I'll probably have to read the Kurogane series soon. Decided I can't be miffed waiting for the first series to be translated. It's interesting but the historical jargon is very much lost on me x_X. I'm just a leech for the characters mostly XD. I swear that almost everyone in that is having some off-screen scidadiling with someone else. It would be highly snigger worthy if it didn't seem so... obvious o.O. Maybe I'm reading into this too much~ Oh well XD
D.N.Angel, yes~ Only... a week or so until the next ASUKA comes out. I wonder if Hiwatari will pair up with Daisuke on this one, although snapping Dark out of his somewhat pissed-off state may prove a bit difficult. Curse you Sugisaki for leaving it on such a cliffhanger and then having a month long break ~_~ *le sigh*

I dreamt I was the that Pied Piper of Hamelin, but I was broke after that episode with the kids. And I was also very procrastinate-y, but exactly why or what about I don't know. I guess somethings stay relatively correct even in dreams.
Now... who the hell is this person on my MSN? *pokes*

Oh the nostalgia. I didn't know Musashi came out after Legend of Mana. If you ever get your hands on this... play it. As dumb as it looks and sounds, it's one of the funniest games you'll ever play. I love the facial expression and the super chunky 3D animation. Ah, now I feel like nabbing it off Lina again. That last boss was one hell of a bastard to kill, I'm so proud of myself for finishing it. A highly challenging sort of game. The official website does it no justice at all. *sniff*
On the other hand; I love the Legend of Mana website

Have been reading Toriyama Worlds scanlations of Full Metal Alchemist~ Edward is rather cute, I must say. But if I called him short and glompable I'd end up in a lot of pain -_-. The boy doth angst muchly as well. Quite an enjoyable little series actually. And I found this rather funny XD. But somewhat sad -_-.
Also read some of Peacemaker~ Is it just me or is that manga having a slashfest off screen? I swear it's not just me...

I can't leave that little chip in my tooth alone, it's sitting right in front of my tongue. Maybe I should file it down a bit so the edges don't cut my tongue...
More dream updates: Someone came and talked to me last night. I don't know what about or why... or who, for that matter, except it was male and there were strong shades of blue, black and dark green. Atmosphere: calm, chilly. I wonder.... how come I've never dreamt of discworld characters?
Which reminds me, I read Night Watch the other night and decided that Discworld was heading on a rapid downhill. Quit while you're ahead, that's what I say. It's not so much that I don't like Vimes.... or that the book was not leechable.... it's just getting to dull and... "predictable."
Pratchett is becoming far too fond of the whole Quantum Space/Time theory and Discworld is starting to lose the charming humour. I think I used to be so fond of the series because there was a slight hint of something seriously mind boggling behind the scenes, but mainly all that was on stage was the humour and the quirky discoveries. It made you think after it made you laugh. But now, TP has taken on a much stronger serious tone, and while that's very nice and all, I don't want to read Discworld because I'm curious about advanced physics, I want to laugh my head off and then ponder about the other hints dropped along the way. I don't want to spend half my time flicking through the pages for him to stop contemplating the cat's existence, I want him to open the damn box and let the mayhem begin.
But I guess it's hard to stay original when something like the Discworld has already been so established.
Although, that Vetinari sure was something. I love that scene where "he" walks into that hall and assasinates the Patrician in front of everyone. And am rather pleasantly amused by Lord Downey's jackassed-ness.
Hey, I just saw someone on /Charmed/ that has no eyebrows!

Stalked the night on [07:42 p.m.] at [Thursday, February 12, 2004]

I've been having so many book dreams lately, some very odd, some not really. I've been thinking that maybe I'll list down all the ones I can recall, like that Darth Vader and the limpet one.
This one last night was about Sirius. But Sirius when he was 17, wild and free. I recall quite clearly that he was lounging (literally lounging, but on his front, sort of like the cheshire cat) on his bike (Vincent Black Shadow, I believe although this may be an external influence from the HPfandom: anyway, it was black) and either smoking or eating (the latter being far more likely: while Sirius may have indeed smoked thoroughout his life I do not hold truck with anyone doing so in my presence), and we had this bet going on. I don't recall the exact nature of this bet, but no doubt it was probably something ridiculous like how many tubs of ice cream you can eat in one sitting.
I can't remember what he said or what he was doing, only the atmosphere: sort of happy and relaxed.... it was a hazy, golden afternoon on summer and James was flying around in the background. Without a broom.
Oddness level: 2/5 (not very odd but still a bit)
The night before last night, I had this other dream about the Fellowship of Seven from WoLaS. They were working for some computer company, but the only thing I could see about it was that the computer sticker (the thing you stick on your computer that says "Intel Inside") was black and hot pink and had a rather nice depiction of an elephant. Then then there was a guy who was like... you know, the evil dictator attempting to take over the world, only he looked like Kuroro from HunterxHunter, and he was their boss but they were rebelling (gasp!) and suddenly we were in the middle of this battlefield.... except instead of bodies there were computer bits and pieces scattered all over. Meanwhile, I was crawling all over the ground trying to tell Calum Kincaid something very important, probably something along the lines of "don't push the big red button." Then I woke up. Presumably because Sethvir pushed the big red button.
Oddness level: 4/5 (high)
Everyone knows the Darth Vader and the Limpet one by now. I don't think I've ever told anyone the details though. There was Darth Vader, against all rules of society, dressed up in a tuxedo complete with helmet... and on the right there was a limpet, somehow managing to don a veil and several flowers (this limpet is like the ones they have in the kid's show "Rocky and the Dodos")... they were getting married. The background is hazy white, with a arch of roses next to a pit that was suspiciously like the one Skywalker fell into when his arm got chopped off. Everyone was every happy, even if I recall Luke screaming: "Noooo!"
Oddness level: 5/5 Best WTF Dream ever.
And then there was that one were everyone was there.... Remus, Sirius, Prongs, Mara, Lord of the Rings, WoLaS etc etc..... there was a war against the orcs and everyone had to fight them in the Forbidden Forest, while Mara governed their doings from on high a fortress situated on top a cliff. Very confusing and disjointed. You should try it some time.
Oddness level: 5/5
My first book dream was Arithon, Libby, Anne, Steph, BB and me, back in.... hmmm, must've been yr8/9. Us five lived in a wooden, two storey house in Morvain. It was winter, and we (except Libby who owns the house) found Arithon lying in the street and we took him home. :P And Libby yelled at us for bringing in a guest as she had no idea what to do with him. So anyway, he woke up and stood around talking, getting on fabulously with Libby who appeared to be a seamstress. As in, with the needle sort of seamstress. It was Autumn, and the sun was high. I remember waking up feeling like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz: "but you were there Uncle Bob, and so were you Cousin Whatsyourface-!" It was so vivid.
Oddness level: 1/5 Low.
And then there was that other one about Arithon that I remember almost nothing about. Except that he was annoyed and punched someone hard in the face. My waking thought was: "well, atleast he didn't slap him..."
And I don't think it was Lysaer...
Having bored you by now, I will sign off.

More generic ranting.
Ah, it's happened finally. My brother came into my room and I just knew what he was going to say to me. It must've been the tone in his voice... sort of "I've got something very important to say to you now that I've been traumatised for life" kind of voice. But you know, it's not like I forced him to read it, and I would have thought he'd recognised the book title from that short story in anthology. He was surprisingly forgiving about it, but hey, he's read Across the Nightingale floor and there was _some_ slash in that. But Mark was always a bit more open-minded than John...
Chrno Crusade ranting number 10: I was very curious about this one. But suffice to say that it was not as good as number 9 but better than all the other ones so far. I am SO glad that there wasn't any screaming involved in the tranformation process, cause, you know, that would have so p***ed me off. And I thought Rosette's interaction with Eagle!Ion was not too shabby. Chrno.... somehow... his True!Form doesn't appeal to me as much as in the manga, I think it's the voice.... I had thought of something more controlled and levelled, but this... meh. *shrugs*
I like these two flashback episodes though, but the preview for the next one is v. confusing. I don't recall any of that happening? I wonder, if CC is only 13 episodes then how are they meant to: kidnap Azmaria, save Joshua and the BloodyWhingyGirl, reunite Stella and Fio, return Chrno's horns, deal with the Sinners and Ion and still finish the Mary Magdala arc that's been hinted at throught the entire anime so far? Not to mention this whole deal with Rosette being the possible reincarnation of said saint. Maybe there'll be a second series? Although, I hate it if it turned out to be like... Inu Yasha or something - never ending.
I have Samurai Deeper Kyo and Lain... but I'm not really motivated enough to want to watch it. And finally I have my missing Wolf's Rain episodes, which means I can now give 'em to Kimi!
Who wants to play Neverwinter Nights with me? ^^ *waves hands*

Everytime I come home and walk into my room, there's one book missing off my shelf. Now, normally I won't give a moment's thought over this... unless it happens to be the book that matters... namely my lone Diana Gabaldon slashy novel. If this was Kimi, or Lina, or any of my other friends, RL or not, I won't care... but it's not. It's my brother and I'm sorta dreading the look on his face when he gets to that chapter and realises that his little sister has a slashy novel sitting happily on her bookshelf.... one that she's rather fond of. *sigh* Well, atleast it's not a yaoi doujinshi.
Other news: I have that "we're going to see lions... only in Kenya" song in my head. And did quite well in my chem exam..... which is good cause it balances out my horrendous bio and history mark.
[Edit: On opening my email account and seeing the thousands of spam mail flooding the poor page I had decided that whosoever sends me junk mail without bothering to inform themselves of my gender is wasting their time. Honestly: what sort of nitwit sends a girl something saying: "please your woman, fill-in-name!" Gosh! Give it up already! Unless you happen to like that sort of thing, of course. Oh and yeah, I saw a spam mail that was from "Kenya" and was immediately tempted to open it.]

Ugh... I was reading the lower entries and realised I may have come across as being abit.... how do I say this; /vague/ about my real thoughts with WoLaS. I honestly think the whole slash thing is getting out of control. It's a fairly serious piece of work, thought provoking and life turning, that-sort-of-thing, and reducing it to some fangirl slobber target degenerates the creativity and depth of Janny's work. So I will say this: although my mind is a fickle as a whore on crack (Hmm... let's not go there) the sane part of my consciousness believes that it's, honest-to-Ath, completely F-ed up and just /not/ right. But sometimes you gotta give the fangirls what they want, if you catch my drift.
Yeah, my IE's a bit screwed... but I just can't access the FTP folder at all... I haven't tried using an FTP program, I was going to nab CuteFTP and try it on that... I've been forced to use that control panel which is so depressing 'cause you have to select the files individually! You know what uploading a whole folder of images is like?! ARGH! *tears out hair*

Strangely enough I just updated the D.N.Angel site, but I couldn't log-on using leech-ftp before. More anime ranting: actually.... 28 of Wolf's Rain is actually quite good. But it's hard to be pissed off now that Cher's dead as a doorknob. But even Toboe throwing himself in front of "Oyaji-san" was, while predictable, was done with sufficient grace. Not that he's dead anyway: I think I saw a snippet of him as a wolf form in the preview for the next one; unless that was Hige. Ah, they all look the same :P Cheza did not annoy me as much as she usually does. It was kinda funny actually, while Hubb was attempting to do CPR on Oyaji-san: "I don't know, I'm not a doctor." I cracked up because he was doing the entire thing wrong: Good thing Cheza learnt her DR ABC! :P
I thought this was the last episode; evidently not so; anyone know how many episodes there will be?
And my first blog-wise Chrono Crusade rant: Yay! I admit: I absolutely detest what the anime's done to mutilate the manga, (I'm not even going to mention episode 7, whoops, I just did) The voice acting's not bad: quite good, in fact. But the chracterisations have been so horribly deformed! AZMARIA!!!!! Fight, you silly girl! CHRNO! *howl of pain and anguish*
So I was kinda worried about this episode /9: Joshua/, since it details one of my favourite scenes from the manga, where Rosette and Joshua meet up with Chrno for the first time. But I'm so happy! My favourite so far: it was done the way I had imagined from the manga, XD! This is the first episode of CC where I've yelled out: "NO!" when it came to an abrupt "to be continued..." All the others I've yelled out: "WTF?!" Joshua was so perfect, I've got tears in my eyes from the sheer happiness! Gonzo, that little episode has just saved your ass from being on my list of No-Nos. Hurry up and release 10!!!
And I've lent BB my +Anima 5 & 6 so she can tell me what the hell's going on :D We're bringing in all these conclusions: I think that eagle dude (sorry, forgot name again) has got something to do with the apple lady from 5 (BB never mentioned her name) and also with the man carving the angel in 6.
[edit: look, whatever floats other people's boats but I honestly find the concept of Cooro/Husky very disturbing.... And I'm not even going to mention what Senri/Nana makes me think. No, screw it, I will say something: "@#%!&$%*&!" But you know, if you like that sort of stuff.... go ahead.]

Stalked the night on [02:46 p.m.] at [Thursday, January 29, 2004]

So it's not Mearn after all. Well, that's a relief. Not that I'd particularly mind if a charater I'm supposed to resemble was having a three way fling with Angst-boi. The fact that buthead is on the bottom is rather disturbing though.
I was thinking of dropping by, but it was 4 o'clock by the time I got back to the station, so I couldn't be buggered. Plus I forgot what number your room was e.e. The one at the very top or something, wasn't it? Oh well, you can get it tomorrow instead~
Yay, I have a new desk~ Well, it's not exactly new. But It's in my room now, and that's what counts. It's all shiny and wooden and completely bare too. I'm sure all that will change by tomorrow. God damn it I hope I don't have extension though. My room is slowly loosing what precious wall-space it has left, thanks to the bajillions of posters and crap that I have. I got another one in this months ASUKA. I have no idea where to put it either. But the corner near my desk is empty and distraction free. probably because the window on that side doesn't allow enough wall-space for posters.
I always did think the Chrono Trigger art was a bit iffy. I'm not much for Toriyama's style though. Final fantasy has good art, and I like Kosuke Fujishima's designs in the Tales series. The older FF stuff by that guy who's name has escaped (Yoshitake Amano..?) me was really lovely too.
Hmm, Wolf's Rain sounds interesting.. I've been hearing a lot about it, but I haven't seen any of it. Do you think I could borrow it some time?
~Kimi
Stalked the night on [10:26 p.m.] at [Tuesday, January 27, 2004]

No... that isn't Mearn and bloody well I hope not! (Actually, it's Jieret, but sort of... Pre-SoM era, which makes no sense at all whatsoever - not that WoLaS orgies are meant to make sense :P) Unfortunately, Butthead is on the bottom and the mere thought of that sends shivers up my spine... In a bad way, that is. I think I remembered why I drew that now... I might actually use it for its intended purpose.
Yay! ^^ I can't believe I'm actually collecting manga! I've got a nice little spot all ready for my +Anima 7, sandwiched next to 6 and my lone Naruto. Actually, I wasn't sure if you'd be dropping by today or not, since it is kinda on your way home, but I thought not. I kinda suspected 7 would be about Husky, and while I'm not fond of him, it'll be interesting to see how he got his anima... Since you only get it if you're in fear of you life, I'm guessing that he nearly drowned or something. *duh* I wonder what that make Cooro?
Other good news, I've decorated one side and corner of my bedroom wall to look like a cheap renderation of the night sky on the western horizon. Very sweet at night. I'm staring directly at Orion and his dogs. Wah! It looks so cool!!!11 ^_^;;
Finally watch Wolf's Rain 27... It's been a while since the last one but... I don't recall anything drastic happening in the last one, so when did this apocalypse happen? I can't believe Cher died like that. 1: it was a stupid, illogical death and 2: she was the only female in WR that I liked! Sheesh! And as for Kiba..... OMG, what the F happened to his face?! I'm sorry, I'm very fangirly when it comes to Kiba. He is _very_ pretty though.... unscarred that is, although it's nice to see an anime that doesn't erase flesh wounds in the next frame.
Also been playing Legend of Mana, finally! I love the art, it's so cute. In fact the whole game reeks of cuteness. Sproutlings are adorable and those magic academy students too. *bangs head* Cuteness overload! But that last boss must the easiest monster that I had to fight. The rabbites were tougher. My Chrono Cross is refusing to work, so I guess I won't be playing it for a while yet. And whole I'm at it, who the hell did the character art for it? Yuck! Why does Squaresoft insist on getting dodgey artists for the Chrono series?! (Yes, screw all you Toriyama fans out there)
Oh boy, I haven't done a good fangirl rant in quite a while. It feels good to get all that out of my system.

In other news, I have your copy of +Anima 7~! It's got Husky on the cover looking very girly as he splashes around with that pretty tail of his, with the little girl on the shore in the background. *cracks up* Sorry, sorry... I almost spelt 'shore' as 'whore' e_e. Husky is also chibified on the back. Ugh, I had to wait around for two hours or something because they hadn't got ASUKA on the shelves yet.

It took me a little while to work out who was on top, but the person that he's sitting on is just way~ too obvious. In other news, I got new glasses and a nice new red frame~ They don't seem to improve my eyesight that much over the old pair, which I guess if a good thing since it means my eyes have stopped changing. Although my right eye is weaker than my left, for some reason, so they fixed that. And for an extra thirty or so bucks I got lenses which change in the light too XD (I thought they'd be more expensive than that, but I guess the technology has gotten cheaper). Which is good, because it's bitchin' to be out in the sun and have the choice of either no glare or being somewhat blind. Not that I actually have any sunglasses anyway...

I think I apreciated it as much for the historical perspective as for the actual plot of the film, which was a bit ho-hum. When you see a row of horsemen riding for a belief that has become obsolete, getting picked off by a gatling gun, you can almost dispise modern society and the technology it brought with it. Whoever invented the gun should be shot, as one might say. Or something like that, anyway... I'm kinda tired. I wonder why the pretty-boi's always get bad luck though...
And feck, there's only a week and a half of holidays left ~_~

The tension's building, we're down to the last panty but then again, so's he..... and the question on everyone's lips is.... "scissors or paper?"
[Edit: ... Now I know why you were sniggering so badly. I was going to show Mark but now..... I think not. :P Now I'm off to strip Sasuke!]
[Edit's edit: Yes!!! Although I'm shamed to say: the kid is tough. Itachi I had stripped within the minute but with Sasuke there was a bit more screen glaring and head banging. Cute but not really in line with his character.... Or Itachi's for that matter, but hey! Who's complaining?]

*sniggers uncontrolably*
Ahahaha~! I swear, Japanese Naruto fans come up with the funniest stuff. It's like... strip scissors-paper-rock. I got Itachi down to his underwear~ Mwahaha.... Hmm, yes, it's rather addictive. But in a slightly wrong way... The full site is here. (there's also a Sasuke one). Somehow I stumbled upon it while randomly fanart searching and link-clicking.
*few moments later* Aha~! I finished the Itachi one~! *cracks up laughing*

Noooo~ It rained.... So we only got to see two sets of the men's match. Bjorkman was down 1-4 in the last though, before it started bucketing down like buggery. Still, what we managed to see was pretty entertaining. Hmm, I find the fact that the No. 1 seed, Juan Carlos Ferrero got upstaged by Aussie Wildcard Cris Guccione to be highly amusing. Holding up your serve, no matter how almighty it is or how many aces you manage to smash down the line, against the No 3 in the world is a highly commendable effort though. And Guccione made it look so easy ~.~. He won 100% of the point on his first serve in the first set. Yee gads, that is one impressive percentage! Of course, the fact that he's an unknown, left-handed serve volleyer probably didn't help the Spaniard. They're notoriously iffy at the net... Hmm, I wonder how he'll go against Ferreira. At the rate it's going, it could turn out to be an all-Wildcard quarter.
And damn it, Philippoussis, why do you have to make watching you play such a painful experience~! T_T... Argg... He doesn't concentrate enough, sometimes. Down a break in the third set, you feel like thwacking one of his own serves back at him. He's the kind of player who controls a match, but the way it swings depends entirely on the day, and if he can concentrate long enough to win. Brilliance and cringe-worthy error all rolled into one...

And the tennis line-up is~
Rank 13, Jonas Bjorkman of Sweden VS 6th seed Paradorn Srichaphan of Thailand
8th seed Ai Sugiyama of Japan VS wildcard Nathalie Dechy of France.
Hmm~ I would have been jumping with (admittedly fangirlish) glee if it had been the Philippoussis VS Qualifier match, but alas, he's playing during the day. But we got a pretty good line-up for tomorrow night. Well, the Sugiyama match could be a pushover depending on how good the wildcard is. Todd Reid was a wildcard and he beat the 6th seed~ But men's matches tend to be less lop-sided than the women's. But the men's looks like it could be good, especially with two highly ranked players. Although Bjorkman is more of a doubles player... But anyway.
*dances around* We're going to see the tennis~ XD

Whee~ I went into the city today, and bought pants. I have decided that Atelier makes very cool clothes. Damn, I wish their store in Chatswood hadn't shut down though. Now I have to go to the city store to get good pants~ ><... Buuut, I saw famous people in the city. Sort of. And I got a free hat! They were doing the draw for the Adidas International tennis tournament in the Pitt street mall, and I saw Wayne Ferreira~ And some Russian woman. And some Australian guy who's name escapes me right now. I think it might have been Sandon Stolle, but I'm not sure o.O. Aaanyway... they were giving out free stuff if you answered questions, and I got a hat for knowing the names of the top 4 womens seeds in the tournament. Not so good with the womens, but I knew most of the mens questions. The hat was nothing special, but hey, it's free. Ferreira was rather funny though. One of the questions was "What was Ferreira's first grass-court tournament win" And someone said Wimbledon. "I wish" was his reply.
I might be going to see a match though~! Probably... on tuesday. The night matches though. I hope it's a good one. The good thing about the Adidas one is that it's a pretty small tournament, but there's a lot of high profile players there. And by Tuesday it's probaly into the second round, so you've weeded out some of the lower players. Hmm, my mum can be amusing sometimes. According to her, Philippoussis and Tommy Haas are swoon-worthy, whereas Roger Federer isn't. I reckon Ferrero is pretty good looking too... Er, but anyway. Sometimes it's almost as much fun listening to my mums comments during the tennis as it is to watch it.
Yesssss~ Now.. I can actually see a real tennis match. And to think that when I was a kid I use to think that tennis was about seeing who could hit the ball for the longest amount of time.

W00t~ Went into the city to meet up with Kit, Alana and Gerry. I'd only met Kit for a little at Supanova last year, but he turned out to be a pretty cool and nice guy~ We met at Kinokuniya and wandered around, and then Gerry ranted about some bizarre manga he'd seen before with these crazy cats. But we couldn't find it, so we wandered over to the English section and laughed like buggery over this book called “Beefcake” which was a collection of images from early American body-building magazines (Well.. me, Alana and Gerry did anyway.). But... this security guard kept on looking at us funny. Not surprised really. I think he followed us around for a bit, so we left rather quickly after that. Alana ducked into Allens music, and we spent another little while laughing over an electric keyboard. Gerry kept on screwing around with all the different options, pretending to be a rapper and playing this 'porno' tune. And 80's music sound-effects~ The horror... Mmm, Alana has piano skillz though, hehe. Damn, I wish I could play the piano...
And, and then... We wandered down to the Pitt street mall. I think. And looked at stuff. And bought food. And I got a groovy chain for my pants, although damn jeans don't have belt loops anyway. I think we walked to the domain fountain after that, and spent far too much time acting weird on the domain walkway. And then we went back to the Pitt street mall and to the Cartoon gallery, where another security guard followed us up the escalators. I mean, what the, do we look like delinquents or something? Hrm, maybe I shouldn't answer that question... We spent far too much time looking at the backs of the H videos, although some of them sounded so classically corny and weirdly raunchy that we couldn't help but laugh. And giggling over some how to draw books. Alana teased Gerry with the slashy pictures in the “how to draw couples” book, while looking for gratuitous panty shots. Yeeees, we seemed to spend too much time laughing over lewd stuff. Although.. sometimes it just cracks you up anyway XD;.... I think we might have annoyed the store clerk though, since it was obvious we weren't actually going to buy anything.
We ducked into the Games Wizard and spent some time mucking around. That Prince of Persia game looks rather cool though... maybe I'll get it later when I have money and it's cheap. Then we went to the George st cinema to see if they were still running the Matrix Revolutions. But they weren't and we didn't see anything since Alana and Kit were going to see Reel Big Fish at 7 so they would have ended too late anyway. Sooo~ We went back to Alana's hotel room (yes, we found the building eventually. And bought stacks of Pocky too) and saw a pay-per-view movie (American Pie 3). Some of the jokes... were oh so painfully embarrassing ><. But it was pretty funny. After that, Alana and Kit had to leave to catch their gig, so I caught the train back from central.
All in all it was a rather fun day~ XD.. although I still need to get some pants. Gyar, even on sale they were still around a hundred bucks. Maybe I went into the wrong stores. Oh well.

(Got this in an e-mail from my brother)
A TEST OF YOUR MORALITY AND ETHICS
With all your honesty and dignity -what would you do? This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thinking... By giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally.
The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one-way or the other. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, but yet spontaneous.
Please scroll down s-l-o-w-l-y - this is important for the test to work correctly.
You're in Florida... in Miami, to be exact...
There is huge chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane and all the flooding...
There are huge masses of water all over you....
You are a CNN photographer...and you are in the middle of this great disaster .....
The situation is nearly hopeless.
You're trying to shoot very impressive photos...
There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water...
Nature is showing all its destroying power... and is ripping everything away with it...
Suddenly you see a man floating by on a log...
He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud...
You move closer...
Somehow the man looks familiar and, somehow, important...
Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W. Bush!
At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away, forever...
You have two options.
You can save him or you can take the best photo of your life. So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer Prize winning photo... A photo displaying the death of a very powerful man...
And here's the question: (Please give an honest answer)
Will you take the photo in black and white, or colour ?

FULL NAME: Lily and Serenia Evans - twins
SPECIES: 'Angelic'
HAIR: Lily's hair is red. Serenia has "extremely long golden hair." Yup, another tinsel wigged sue.
EYES: Lily has 'emerald eyes' and Serenia has 'sapphire eyes.'
MARKINGS: Both are unspeakably curvy and gorgeous... at the age of 15. Wings. These chicks have fucking wings. And they look nothing alike despite being twins. This is a Plot Point.
POSESSIONS: Fucking wings.
And from something else

With that Marissa toke out her wand, made sure no one was in the room, and pointed at her diary. " Converses Abuno!" she shouted. The black leather diary jumped out of her hand onto the bed sheets and looked up at her with big black eyes.
" You can look but you cant touch, love." it said taking its little hands and touching its square curves.
What exactly are square curves?

It makes me laugh... because it's so sad -_-;

W00t~ Look people, I just got flamed. Don't you just... find people really quite stupid sometimes? Yes, I like using that salute phrase. That and "I don't give a flying fig". It's odd. Yet somehow amusing. I wonder if they'll rant back at me with more insults *ponders*

I think it's predestined for me to be forever sober. I have no head for alcohol: even a highly diluted midori.
No hangover for me though! I flushed all of it out of my blood yesterday night with water. Had three toilet breaks within half an hour. It was an interesting experience, but I don't think I'd recommend underage drinking to anyone.
An interesting start to a new year. Happy New Year everyone; best wishes!

o.O You're going somewhere? Oh wel... have fun~ Or something...
*scratches head* You know... One would think that when I have a glaringly obvious notice before the gallery on Yami o Sukasu which says not to steal my scans, that people would actually take notice of it and, well... not steal my scans. Maybe I should make the font bigger. And in a glaring, luminous red as well. And then people might actually take notice of the usage page! *Falls off chair in a twitching rage*

Squeeeee! Go Pippin!
Denethor pisses me off.
So does Arwen.
Is anyone willing to save Faramir's character?

Seasons greetings to all, on this damn hot christmas day~! Argg, the car said it was 42 on the way back from my aunts ~_~. Ha, Mat got the christmas 'wedding' coin in his pudding, which made his girlfriend crack up laughing. Fortuitous maybe? Mat leads me to believe that it isn't, but you never know... Weather was a bit freaking hot. Didn't really do much at my aunts, except flop around and talk. I actually had a pretty decent conversation with my cousin, which was good. Ah, now I know why they did what they did in The Two Towers~ It all makes sense now.. although Mat is still a bit iffy about the Elves popping up at Helms Deep. Arwen was going to be in that battle you know? But they cut her out (thankfully) and had the horse scene instead. And they changed Faramir because his reaction to the ring would have destroyed the pacing of the film, or somesuchness.
Gwah... feeling tired. LotR tomorrow~ XD Hehe... *drops off* Erg, writing motivation significantly lacking. Can't be bothered... moving elbow off desk... ho-hum

Yes~ Yes, yes, yes yes~ *jumps up and down* The package~ The other package, that is. Not the one that was meant to be here 3 weeks ago... But oh well. I got my Tales of Phantasia Trading figures, and my Naruto Keyring! X3

It's the fledgeling couple, Arche and Chester. No, they don't need painting. They're just the alternate colour ones, which are stone coloured. I would have liked one of them to be coloured though.. but they have a nice, clean look to them the way they are. Alas, no Klarth... but there's still the four left to get from Japan. I'm hoping I get Cless, Klarth, Mint and Dhaos, and not another double up. Especially not a stone double up ~_~. I'll have to wait and see I guess. The detailing on these are really nice though, and the sculpts are so smooth (you can actually see Chester's eyebrows and the little knot on his quiver sash, as well as the little lines above Arche's eyes). Arche's broom even has its own saddle~!

Oooh, I can't wait until the Tales of Symphonia ones come out... I'm gonna order myself some of those nice and early. It'd be great to get an entire set of them, but I'd have to order a whole box for that. 6000 yen! Somehow I don't think so.... Here's another image to get an idea of how big they are too -> [link].
The Naruto keyring is pretty cool too~ I was tempted to get the Sasuke one but I already had the plushie, so... I got Naruto instead. Now all I need is my Konoha headband~ >D Hehe...
Effing trains went on strike earlier than expected too, so I'll have to go into the city tomorrow for a last minute dash. Hrm.. I wonder what I'm getting for x-mas, since there wasn't anything I actually wanted. Mum says it's not cosmetics again. Perhaps jewelry or something... *ponders*
[edit] Ureshiiiii~! X3 The Konoha headband just came in stock~! Now I just have to wait for it to be shipped from HLJ -_-;
