A bird's wing, Kimi? You found a dead bird on the side of the road and took it home to scan in the wing? And I'm glad to see that even Kitty aids you in your artistic pursuits.
Overall, I think all your WP look pretty decent, well, the recent ones anyway, I haven't actually seen your older ones. Kinda abstract, eh? And dark is good, I like dark. No, not that Dark.
Armand's little problem is the fact that his eyes seem to be too blue, I was thinking a pale blue colour. Anyway, the hair looks kinda nifty, like it's been painted (unless you used a bird's wing for that too...)

Oh yes, the erm... 'brushstrokes'... well, it's actually a scan of the underside of a bird's wing. I found it on my way home one day, and thought it might make a nice texture scan (I have a lot of those... you can never have enough big scans... I even scanned in some of kitty's hair once. He certainly malts enough for it -_-)
Assignment is going alright... sorta. I feel to tired to bother with it much tho. Just swipe some good info off the net, mix it around with my own words... bleh

Arrg, must've opened up this PSD file about 20 times today -_-. Okay, eyes are blue (are they bright blue enough?), hair is a bit lighter, shoes are darker, and the BG should be entirely black (there's nothing wrong with black, it's just that what I was seeing was black so that really means it's some shade of grey... I need a new monitor -_-). If everything is right, tell me and I'll upload 'n link the full version (it's twice as large)

Yep, it says his eyes are a "bright china blue" colour, I thought it was brown because later on it changes momentarily. Um... dark brown shoes, maybe?
And I just had a horrible sudden realisation. Louis has black hair and (gasp!) green eyes, but Lestat, whom I really don't like, has blue eyes and blond hair. Guess who do they remind me off? (And that's not the only bit. The horrible bit is that- uh.... urk..... I actually don't want to think about that, Arithon is firmly straight! >.<)

How about moving the light to a corner of the glass instead? It'll make it stand out more. Also, erase Armand's name in the corner or use the funny scrawl font to rewrite it, it looks kinda outta place. Um.... did you light up the hair?

Ah, er... okay....
Is this better? 
Wasn't sure about the light for the window, so I just added a little light filter over it. The center should look lighter than the rest of it. Hair --> done. Think I got the cloak right too, although maybe a bit redder/brighter. Added the quote too, although you can't see it very well b/c this is about half the size of the actual image...

Light auburn, so, add more red (a light red) and lighten the colour too. Russet is also very reddish colour, not really brown. Background - black, becuase you're not supposed to see the outline. Thicken the outline of the eyes, so then he'll look more feminine, (although it's kinda hard to explain).
Do you know how to do light streaks? Darken the planes of glass but add a light source.
To give you a hint of what the red is like, scroll down until you see that link badge saying "Moderato" or something, see the red outline? It's that kind of brightness, I think.

Actually, the end of the diary doesn't have that blue colour stuff.
Let's see.... background is dark, maybe if you make the background black and the cloak russet red instead. Shoes go all the way, think of them as shin length boots. Cross does have a black outline, haven't you seen those glass murals in cathedrals? It's one of those.
Armand is pale, he is a vampire, after all.

Hmmm, yep maths is incredibly dull -_-... most of my scribbles are on maths sheets, or science ocasionaly, because we get so many damn sheets in science. Boredom is the artists ultimate tool for inspiration XD
I don't like theee new school diaries much... no space to scribble, all those damn blue lines, and they tried and failed to make it less dull than last years. They only succeded in a crappy hybrid diary, decidedly worse than the one before, which was pretty decent looking.
Where was I? er, I dunno... colouring going pretty well, although I think I need to make the glass less bright. What colour is the BG? Just white~~? And is he wearing socks, or do his shoes go all the way? Oh, and does the cross have an outline?
Arrg, too many questions @_@. Dinner should be ready by now too... it's almost 8:00

I dunno, I generally like most characters but sometimes there's someone I just can't stand...
I was kinda 'fraid that people wouldn't able to tell shoe from glove, but I thought, "ah, what the hell, either way is fine."
Maths is the most boring subject known to mankind, esp. Math Homework. My mind wanders alot when I'm doing homework and seems to be the time when I draw the most. If I sat down with the intent to draw then it takes me alot longer.

Are there any characters you have a reason for not liking? (apart from Taka, which I know in full the reasons why you hate the poor looser). Krad is a bit odd, but I find him kinda bishy in a homocidal twitchy-creepy sort of way... Satoshi is just plain odd, and I can't bring myself to like the guy very much... Dark is my main bish in DNAngel, with Daisuke and Krad sitting on the sidelines XD
Maths for me is passing -_-... very sad, since I'm in the second top class. Probably because my attitude to doing work borders on the complete procrastination side most of the time...

Armand has auburn hair and brown eyes. I was thinking black for the cape, although in the book, he prefers russet red. Shoes.... welll, whatever looks decent. Glass: If you look closely, there is a picture in each of the squares, Lady holding baby, close up of lady's face with a shawl, and man with beard of some-sort. They all have halos and I'd expect that bit to be yellow. Other colours, you can decide for yourself.
I don't like Krad. And I don't expect I ever will. There's something about him that really annoys me.
Maths for me is alsways aimed at the 80s, but I seriously doubt it if I can get that high a mark.
Now that you have finally seen the extreme bishy/coolness of Seishirou, you'd understand why I have him on the List.
Back to work. I always say that, but I hardly ever do it.....

Downloaded some of the tracks from the D.N A drama discs. Hiwatari sounds like a creepy but smooth talking highschooler... Seki Tomokazu is a diverse Seiyuu indeed @_@. I like Seki tho XD.. he can siiing, and he has a cool voice.. same for the other Seki on the drama disc (Seki Toshihiko). Daisuke's dad sounds so droolworthy... Dark as well XD. Hehe, very smooth indeed, Dark...
Don't like Daisuke's Seiyuu very much tho... arrg, doesn't sound "Daisuke" enough for my taste XP... he's a bit choppy. More of a brash highschooler than our sweet little Daisuke. Listen to the tracks at Offramp if you want to understand what I mean...

Ah ha? Found out a bit more on that "Takasato" picture wossname. Actually, apparently it's one of a set of books (going to be 12 of 'em) about.... a giraffe and a bunch of other people possibly involving emperors.... well, this is set in China/Japan.
The name of the guy down there is Yasushi and then some funny squiggle. He appears in the third book and only that one, I think. Author name is Yamada Akira, and the covers are bloody spiffy looking..... cool....
