Happy Thanksgiving Day to any/everyone! I have currently sneaked away from the eating group downstairs to scribble some mumbo jumbo on here again. *sighs* After spending the entire day cooking my heart out with the sister and grandma, I took one look at the laid out table and promptly lost my appetite! I couldn't even eat much despite all the plans I had to stuff myself to the brim. :(
Anyway, something really good did happen..at least something that cheered me up a little. I went to the store today to pick up some things and stumbled upon THIS:

IT'S 2 FUCKING DEGREES OUTSIDE!!! I AM FREEZING MY TAIL OFF! And sniffling to add to it. Brrr! We are sure spoiled rotten here in the south. I bet any northerner or midwestern person would be cursing me out for complaining at a 28degree weather. But seriously folks, I can barely feel my toes...or hands...or body.
Today was crazy. I got a lecture from my sister saying that I couldn't take the laptop to work anymore since I am SURE that friend of hers must have gone to tattle-tale or something. It's not as if I don't do anything in there. I hardly use the laptop except when it's really slow and no one is around. *shrugs* Ah well, guess I just have to obey to keep the peace around here. To top it all, I had to run to a costume shop once my shift was over to go and look for some dumb 70s outfit for the nephew. Upon getting that, I had to drive all the way to his school to give it to him, only to find out that...gee, he didn't need it anymore! I was so mad, I could have stomped on the costume and not given a damn but being the nice girl that I am, I had to drive all the way back to the shop to return it. Needless to say, they all thought I had gone insane or something. But what made the day all worthwhile, was the lovely, LOVELY, present that Zan-Louise sent to me. A lovely charm bracelet, which I will treasure for as long as I live. ^_^
On the anime front...my new favoritest show in the world...Gilgamesh Part 8 was watched sometime in the wee hours of morning (while half-asleep), but I understood it just fine *nods* I am SO HAPPY Kiyoko has left! Although, it was a bit sad...I will admit, but YES! Tatsuya and the Countess are now free to do whatever the hell they want. Hehe...that scene was great! As Kiyoko had predicted, the Countess does have the hots for her kid brother...and who wouldn't. And then she steals his first kiss! Sweet! She goes like:
"This never happened."
And Tatsuya goes: "I understand"
Oh, you'll understand alright. By the time she is finished with you, I doubt you will be so innocent again, my sweet.
Gah, I think I need to lie down. My head is beginning to hurt.
PS: New guilty pleasure: Maburaho - Besides the annoying girl (Yuuna) who keeps saying she is the main character's wife (his name escapes me at this time), everyone else is pretty damn funny. Think Hogwarts on acid. ^^
DOUBLE PS!!: How could I forget?! I got pictures of Tatsuya (I really need to find good ones ><;; and the seiyuu for him.) Imagine my delight to find out that he also voiced, my other favorite characters, Elk (Arch the Lad) and Maiku (Onegai Twins) among many others! He is such a cutie too!

Oh my gosh! Gilgamesh 7 was so AWESOME! Finally Tatsuya is beginning to acknowledge his powers, but Kiyoko is beginning to annoy the heck out of me! I think those guys from Gilgamesh have converted her or something because she was acting so...weird and different. Hmm...me smells a brother-sister rivalry thing coming up soon and the previews for the next episode show as much. ACK!!
Also (can't remember her name now) she said something about Tatsuya-chan having a sister complex...hehe...I am not sure of what's going on these days with incest on anime. It's becoming pretty rampant if you ask me. But yeah, their...eh...closeness in the first few episodes had me wondering too. ^_^
Either way, I can't wait for the next episode! This should be good!!!

Oh wow and then some *sniffles* Episode Six of Full Metal Alchemist was so touching and sad and just...waaaah! THAT BASTARD MADE MY EDWARD CRY!! *takes deep breath* Okay, that had to be let out somehow. I am still looking for the screencaps...good screen caps for the show. But imagine my surprise when I found out that This Person was doing Edward's voice. O_o;; She really is good then. She also did Ren's voice from Shaman King.Either way, I can't wait for the next episode to come out.
*sigh* Have to get to classes now. Man, I can't wait until this is all over.

Watching Peacemaker Kurogane 6 yesterday had me thinking of writing an Okita/Tetsu story. *evil hentai grin*
Oh my goodness! I know Okita is Hijikata's boy toy, but damn if Tetsu-chan (aka Puppy-kun) isn't reaching that level! He might be short, but he has got potential. *grins*

Yay! The store is FINALLY opened (yesterday actually) and I worked my tail off. *lol* Besides being an errand 'boy' for the better part of the day, it was kinda nice to work behind a cash register again. Maybe because it's such a small store, but it's more comfortable there. You don't feel pressured to ring everything up correctly (since most things in there are a dollar anyway ^^). If you make a mistake, you only have to answer to yourself or to your sister (in this case) and you don't have to worry about some mean old boss showing up every five seconds wondering if you are doing the right thing. There are no coupons or sales discounts to worry about...yet. In fact, it's just good for now. My schedule is going to be a pain though. For now, I am going to be working every single day of the week, since the sister and her friend (co-owner) do have regular jobs to attend to. So they are basically relying on me to be there whenever they aren't. *sighs* I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I worry about my writing and wish that I could bring in my laptop into the store whenever it's not so busy. But I am worried about the neighborhood as well. Some of the guys that sauntered into the store yesterday were kind of...scary. I am sure they shoplifted some things, but who am I to say anything. All in all, it was a very good day for business. First day, lots of customers who all seemed to think that the store was a great idea.
On another note, I have a ton of animes to watch that I haven't had a chance to get to. I've got Tsukihime 6(or something like that), Ikkitousen 13 the final episode that I have been looking forward to for a while now, Saiyuki Reload 4 and then Full Metal Alchemist and Fumoffu are going to be out today, I just know it. :( Ah well, I'll just keep loading them and saving them on the hard drive until I find the time to watch them.
I also downloaded the tryout version of Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1. And even though I am yet to finish my Chem Lab notes, I am determined to see what this Photoshop thing is all about. Why be left behind when everyone else seems to know a thing or two about it. And so I have rented some books from the library as well as having an e-book to study from. Who knows? I might just end up becoming a Photoshop expert soon! Mwahahahaha!

Today is my grandpa's birthday. He will be turning 76 today. I guess that's a milestone for him considering all the surgical procedures and hospital visits he has been making for the past few weeks. My sister wants to surprise him with a cake and all of that stuff...not really sure how that's going to work as he doesn't eat sugary stuff...at least not a lot of it. She wants it to be icecream cake again. And I hate Ice Cream cake. It always makes my teeth ache and it's not just from the cold either and then there's the fact that it melts and makes a lot of mess on the floor or table or wherever.
*sigh* I guess I am just feeling a bit bitter over some things right now hence my lack of enthusiasm. I got into a fight/quarrel/argument with a friend last night and I feel kinda low right about now. *shrugs lightly* Maybe she was still in a bad mood or something, but I got the sense that my presence was only doing more to irritate her. Ah well, I have learnt to let some things slide and move on with my life. I won't bring up that topic again, that's for sure.
Nawlins was nice enough to send me a whole bunch of files to a streamload account that can house it...but won't allow me to download the entire thing. :( I have tons of PoT songs and Gackt. I now also have the Sai Artbook and the Aprohibia (not sure if that's the right spelling) art book as well. Got some Angel Sanctuary manga and the Lost Angel Art book as well. Man...talk about having so much and not knowing what to do with it. Ah well, I will download the much I can and watch the rest disappear into the night. Honestly though, I really think I need to get myself an account. It will dwindle the non-existent account I have but it should be worth it, ne?
I am at the shop right now. We are opening it up tomorrow. It's still looking like a tornado ran through it, so I am not even sure of how we are going to manage to get it all fixed up for opening day. Ah well, all night session 1000000 here we come!

I am still trying to learn how to play 'Go' and it doesn't help that I so totally SUCK at it, that it is becoming quite embarrassing. I sneak into Yahoo Go rooms now with my secret hidden identity *lol* Since I tend to even lose to people who proudly announce that 'They just started playing today!' How the hell does that make me feel?
Foolish, that's what.
So with the help of Sakura-chan, she introduced me to Turbo Go. I played a game and lost woefully. *sighs* Looks like I am going to need to work extra hard to at least be taken seriously around here.

I forgot I had a test today. It hit me at three o'clock in the morning, while drooling over my new laptop that I had to take a test this morning. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! *sighs*
But guess what? I still managed to miss only one question out of 15. (God, I love online classes!)So despite my procastination and rushed cram session this morning, I was able to get a decent score. Yay me.
Now, I am tired. I seem to be getting too tired these days, but I am not getting enough sleep. When I do try to sleep, I end up almost sitting back up again unable to do so. What kind of disease or ailment is that? Anyhoo, I am off to go watch some DVDs on my comp. right now. And try to get my damn muse working again.

My sister is opening up a small Dollar store. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a store that specializes in selling things for no more than a dollar. Pretty damn good deal if you ask me. So yes, most of the things aren't that high quality, but they are very cute and effective. I can get a whole bunch of stuff that I need for only five bucks! (Okay, that sounded so cheapskatish of me *winces*). So, yeah, the sister is opening up the shop and of course, we are needed to help her in stocking up the shelves and arranging up the entire thing.
Fair warning: Never get involved with an indecisive older sister. She changes her mind faster than a speeding bullet.
Typical conversation:

Sister:Hmm...we should probably put these dolls over here and put the girls purses all along this way. Okay, Kiya! Get to work!
Me: *weary and tired as I have been standing on a stool with my arms aching from fixing up hooks all morning* Suuuuure.
Sister: *five minutes later after I have put up about twenty rows of the bags and dolls* Hmmm...they don't look too good there, do they? You know what? Let's change them all around, okay? You are such a sweetheart.
Me: *glaring daggers at her back and wishing I was dead*

And on and on it goes. We are getting more boxes with items than we have places to keep them. What was she thinking? She was opening a department store? The shop space is not that big and we have so much stuff, it's impossible to keep up with all of them! Don't get me wrong now. I am proud that she is deciding to do this and is allowing me to take charge of somethings but the setting up is the hardest part. She hopes to open it in a week or so. Man...I am not sure about that now. We've been pushing the grand opening date for so long now that it's beginning to aggravate the suppliers. Ah well, we are keeping our fingers crossed.
