grr. I went to check my schedule at work and found out that I am on call (which means I'm probably not working) on Sunday and working Friday. That wouldn't be a big deal, except I have more available time, and my boss knows that, and she told me she was going to give me some more hours. I'm supposed to be making money here!
Not only that, but two of my piano students are out for the summer - well, one for longer than that. Hello! I'm supposed to be making money here too!
*exhales* I think maybe God could be teaching me how much I really need at a time, huh? I know He's going to provide, but it's quite scary when your income goes +splat+ in a very short period of time. :P
in other news, the rest of my life is ok. really. went to see The Rookie with my fam. It's a good movie, and it's CLEAN!!! Bless Disney, they actually made something CLEAN! That's not animated! That is a relatively grown-up storyline! Amazing. :)

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeef. I'm waiting on supper............. Grandpa was supposed to put the meat on the rotisserie and let it cook for an hour. It's the first time he's ever used the rotisserie, so my parents suggested he put it on earlier. He wouldn't listen. He checked it after an hour, and it's not done. Not even started. So it's at least another hour until supper. did I mention eef? I'm eating a banana. :P
church was relatively good, I played organ/piano a lot. *wiggles fingers* The Star-Spangled Banner went fine - it was the least of my worries :)

Ok, just a word of warning to all you out there who may have pastors for parents and may be musical (this includes especially you, trin):
If you're playing the service music for a Sunday morning, substituting or otherwise, be prepared to take on extra stuff, at least if your parent/pastor is as spontaneous/creatively oriented as mine is. Today I was practicing at the church, mind you, it's Saturday, and my mom comes in and says, "where's the music for the Star-Spangled Banner?" This is my mom's nature... spontaneous. So here I am, learning music (it's in A flat, to boot!) on Saturday, when I have limited time to practice the rest of the service music anyway. And I have to decide how much accompaniment I'm putting with which verse, and figure out how the words to all the other verses fit, and try to figure out how to train the choir to fit the words with the music. I'm honored (I guess) that she thinks I can do this... but grr!!!
Anyway, that was a word (well, ok, more than one) of venting as well as warning. eef. 8-P
ok, now I'm going to go do something more cheerful, like phone a friend and talk about the spiritual warfare going on in my church. *shakes head* something ought to give...
I'm truly learning the meaning of the phrase "His strength is perfect," because it is! Otherwise I would not be here right now. I really am only breathing because He has given me breath. That is very comforting right now...

beach was niiiiice...
I love the ocean, and the sun, and the peacefulness - gets me away from the typical busy, busy northern east coast. Plus today was a beautiful day, and I got to lay on the sand and read... *sighs* ok, I'll stop boring you all with the contents of my wonderful morning, especially those of you who had to spend all day inside. poor you! :)
trin, you better watch that DSL addiction... could be costly ;) and yeah, you know about 50 hour work weeks. 60? 70? 24x7? 8-)
*winces as legs rub against pants* guess I got a ~little~ pinker than I thought... :| it'll be ok. nite nite!!

it's the weekend!! (for me, anyway) K only minorly hates weekends. but tomorrow should be good because it's a day where I don't have to deal with piano lessons or church stuff, just work. church stuff is quite tiring right now. blick. :P
going to go now... should practice for church on Sunday, gotta play the organ and piano. eef. lot of work. but it's only a subbing thing, so it's ok. *begins the process of racking brain, coming up with something for prelude, postlude, offertory, thinking, at least it's not communion* 8-)

oy. today was draining, but now instead of being tired I'm going giddy and laughing over the smallest, minute-est not-really-funny things. But tigger is guilty of the same thing right now 8-)
umm... K can't think of anything else to say. The thing about being this tired is that you swing from being hyper to crashing really quickly. I enjoy hyper more. here, hyper!! come back!! 8-D

I am exceedingly tired right now, and that doesn't help matters. Oh, well. I know God is in control, I really do, but it gets really hard to trust Him! Alas, a day in the life of the believer... wouldn't trade it for the world. (literally!)

eef. today was very long and draining, but cool. random fact of the day: nutritional calories are actually measured in kilo-calories, so the 110 Calories in a bottle of soda are actually kilo-calories. learned that in physical science class, while consuming my 110 Calories of soda, trying to stay awake. sugar!!
tigger has been staying at my house the last couple of days, except we went to school today. we're having fun, but we're drained. it's been a long semester for all of us.
I'm rambling, I know. but you know what? It's my blog! thank you! :) I'm going to go do something else now before my brain spills out all over the place *plugs ears so that brain doesn't start coming out* 8-D

the rest of today was ok... physical science class was less than interesting , as usual... but only 2 weeks left! And we got out early today! *grins*
