9.13.02 . 1:38PM listening to: brotherhood - chemistry Classes were pretty decent this week. I got to write kanji on the board in my Psych class. ^^;; We were discussing left/right brain differences, and got into where kanji (nonphonetic) and hiragana/katakana (phonetic) are typically stored in the (Japanese) brain. Anyway, school, school. All I've been up to. XD Tomorrow, I have to go to the farm (...), all day. >_x; But Sunday! is Miyazaki-san. XDXD Watched tenipuri 38. What's with all the ghei!Taka-san fanservice? XDXD Giggled unnecessarily when my layout scene popped up. ("Korondan su!") And Akutsu, you scary bastard. And yes, to address search referrers, he did move to New York (sort of; he mentioned a few weeks ago he's living in a hotel ^^;;) to be on American Morning, and yes I think this SUCKS. ;_; 4-7AM is not a good time for me to be watching TV. ..So. Plans for today's Miyazaki double feature fell through, sigh, so instead we went to nihonmachi this morning. Wandered around a bit and shopped until Benihana opened, then had lunch. Kino didn't have much. No WJ or anything, so I got Naruto 8 and 13, and tenipuri 8. Uwaa Mizuki, Momo-chan, love~ XD nfu. Tomorrow should be shopping, but saa na. Yawn, yawn. I should start my soc psych readings. ("Hah, this magazine isn't really that fan-- ::gets to Junk Force:: Er. o_O") a couple of djs, including a tenipuri antho, which is really cute and has lots of OoKiku, and my Hajime Chitose CD. *^__^* Will probably review it after I listen to it more, but so far I'm really enjoying it. She really has got a quality about her.. or something equally as vague and undescriptive. XD I like her a lot, tho. My SHOULDERS. >____<# Anyhow, cutting things short, I'm going to crawl into bed I think. Meant to mention this earlier, but I keep forgetting. Discovered Onosaka-sama is apparently in .hack (Piroshi?), which Bandai is releasing bilingual. *_* If I wasn't going to buy the game before, I'm absolutely buying it now. XD And, relatedly, Momo-chan's Best of Seigaku Players CD comes out 9/4, (along with Ooishi's and Kikumaru's), after all. squee~! Have been talking at length about my current and future plans for college and such. @_@ Could I be anymore unconventional? It makes my head hurt. XD Que sera, sera, da na. So, to-morrow I'm going to Pixar with my dad to watch the first of three Miyazaki double features. ^_^; It's something of an event they're doing; and on the 13th, Miyazaki's going to be at Pixar, doing a Q&A session. ..... *_* I don't know if I'm going to be there, but... rakkii na, boku wa. XD Between the Incident That I Don't Want To Talk About, Damnit, and classes starting, I've been a bit preoccupied. Tonight was my social psych class, which is incredibly interesting. Especially because it's stuff that makes sense, in a simple and backwards sort of way. XD Watched 34 + 35 of tenipuri today. Drive B makes me honestly laugh out loud. XD It's so silly. "O_O! SASUGA!! RYOMA-KUN!!!" Yet I'm still addicted, despite the silliness. Or because of it. XD Momo-chan cheering Ryoma on and Kikumaru's "~nya" was cute. *^_^* And damnit, I still don't like Fuji. Fuji really bothers me, for some reason. I don't like his seiyuu, his cheerfulness, any couplings with him (especially FujiRyo, yuck) etc. And I'm convinced he's 3v331, really. XD Mizuki annoys the hell out of me, but he's totally manipulating Yuuta in a m0l3st0r-y way XD Whee fangirling. ^_^ Also, must pimp Ruaki-sama's layout. squeee~! XD Been listening to Chemistry's The Way We Are CD, which is actually pretty good, for a pop-ish boy-duo sort, you know? XD Right now, I like You Go Your Way, Pieces of a Dream, and Ai Shisugite. And I think Douchin is chou kakkoi, but that's neither here nor there. XDXD On the jpop note, got Hajime Chitose's Hainumikaze CD as an early birthday present. *^^* Ship, ship~! I'm incredibly lucky. XD Feeling better this week; it's not so hot anymore, so I've been keeping myself busy. Bought The Royal Tenenbaums DVD, finally, and have fallen back in love with it. There's oddest sense of humour, in this movie. XD Also went shopping yesterday and bought a shirt at Saks and sheets for my new bed set. Played a little FF8, but I'm sort of bored with it. XD And I'm re-reading Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenders, because I'm such the Salinger h0. Now to manage a trip to San Francisco before classes start. XDv

The price one pays. XD Gotta finish cleaning. Did finish Stardust, a few days ago, though. Charming book; I really enjoyed it, even if the genre isn't one I read much. I think I'll look for American Gods next time I'm at the bookstore. Bought myself a Shonen Jump subscription today, since I've heard mostly good things about it, and I'm interested in a couple titles. Think I'd like to start reading One Piece again, because... no idea. XD I remember starting to watch the anime because Onosaka-sama was in it (^^;;), and was like "...... e?" It's so weird, in a good way. Sort of. XD And I can't stop thinking of "Seishirou-san! Ho-hokuto-chan!" whenever Usopp talks. Damnit, Yamaguchi. XD Speaking of anime. And the Naruto obsession flares up again. XD Can't wait for a seiyuu list to come out. Re-watching the beginning of tenipuri anime. o.O I have sort of a low tolerence for it, though. XD The manga is less annoying, because you don't have to endure Horio-tachi constantly gasping and randomly shouting "[whoever]-senpai!" And the abuse of sugoi/sugee. The melodrama, man. XD But, it has its charms, damn it. XD And Konomi-sensei, you're a fine mangaka, but c'mon, Tezuka's not 14. 20, maybe, but 14 is a damn stretch. Okiayu Ryoutarou as his seiyuu just adds to that. Jeez. XD Though it's easy to say that about really any of the regulars, except maybe Ryoma. Inui for example. Or Momoshiro. Or anyone. XD Yuck. This fever sucks. . 8.5.02 . 11:15PM listening to: deep river - utada hikaru Been really tired lately, for some reason, so I'm sitting 'round drinking cups of Yorkshire Gold, and such. Finished half of Stardust yesterday, and intended to finish the rest today, but I instead played FF8 and was joyfully lazy. Enjoying the book thus far, anyhow; Neil Gaiman really is an amazing writer. o/~ seems I keep getting this story twisted, so where's Neil when you need him~? o/~ So so so tired of playing FF8. XD Near the end of disc 2, but I paused to do a bit of leveling because I'm very biased about my party. XD So t'was a bit (? XD) uneven, and Selphie and Rinoa both needed work. Lots of boring stuff going about. 8-9 hours into FF8. Zell XD Junction system makes slightly more sense to me now, but it's really just unnecessarily confusing. >_> Have a feeling I'm gonna be playing this for a while... And, Danny called me for help on FFX boss. XDvvvv I win~! Arg, Joni's making me depressed. Surprised I haven't heard much about Naruto, ManKin, One Piece etc. being licensed for Viz's Shonen Jump. o.O I'm definitely curious to see how it turns out, at least. Well, after a lovely breakfast and lunch out yesterday, I came home to this sitting on my bed. *^__^* Koge-Donbo-sensei, LOVE. XD~ It's a very short gag book, but I really love the cover. *_* Haven't been buying much in the way djs, so I'm making up for it now. XD My poor wallet.

Ufu. Went to the city with friend, again, and I showed her Japantown, which ended with me spending money at Kino, as it always does. But for once, they had nearly everything I wanted~! <3 Tenipuri 14 (and 4, because I'm sick and decided I wanted the manga..) and the Naruto chara book. And WJ 33. And Frau, because I'm a disgusting fangirl. I don't even /like/ Gackt all that much looks-wise, but friend insisted I buy it. And who am I to say no to naked j-rockers? XD
