Schmack Sometimes I hate pitas. Anyways, I wrote an entry last night, and posted, but I have learned from earlier experience that when it says it didn't save, it just means it will appear when the next entry is posted. That caused a lot of confusion for me in the past. I'd write something, it wouldn't save, so I'd write it again, and when I went to look at it, both entries would be there. So yeah...
Anyways, when you DO read the last entry, it will say something about the @home shutdown thingy.
I'm suprised that I'm still connected, like nothing ever happened. I guess all the problems are surfacing on the west coast, or not around here. I did visit one UBB where some people from MD were saying they got disconnected, or now it's really slow, but nothing really massive. So...right.
I'm...so.....sick. I had a slight fever earlier today, but then I took a nap and woke up really sweaty. Bleah. I've been coughing so much, it hurts to swallow
I downloaded a few MP3s yesterday: Utada Hikaru's new single, "Traveling"; George Harrison's (rest in peace!) "What is Life"; and a song from Love Hina, "Sakura Saku" sung by Megumi Hayashibara.
My brothers went to some computer show today (my oldest brother left a note saying "Greg and Tim went to the.....how do you say? Ah yes...SHOW") and my bro Tim bought something...But now he keeps bragging that he has the fastest computer out of all the computers in our house. He's like "Muahaha I have poweeerrrr" (not really, but I can imagine him saying that)
Oh, my dad got a new CD burner (because his old one was supposed to go really fast, but it wasn't very compatible, so he'd have to burn them at a slower speed), so he gave me his old one (which, my brother says, DOES work at the higheset speed). Therefore, I can burn CDs in like, 5 minutes.
I suppose that's all for now. Toodles Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 06:09 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2001 *weeps* You know how they might shut down @home? Well...Guess who subscribes? MY FAMILY. Why did they have to go bankrupt?? Bastards...
Can't..stop....coughing....
Ah, continuing my last entry...
In Spanish, we got back a vocabulary test we took yesterday. I got a B, like an 82%. That's really not that good, but it's okay. I also decided to not tutor that girl, because it's such a hassle staying after school, so I asked if the teacher could look for someone else.
When I got home, I made a cup of hot chocolate (it kinda soothes my throat). Then my mom came home from giving blood, and after she ate (since she was a bit lightheaded), she took my brothers and me out. So..first we went to the bank (I wanted to take some money out but decided not to because #1, my brother and I had to go to the bathroom and #2, the lobby was closed until 5 PM. Or something like that). Then we went to Wal-Mart. My mom bought a Gamecube as an early Christmas present for us. I was getting really weak after a lot of coughing and whatnot (my legs were aching so much) so I asked my mom if we could go home.
My one brother wanted to stop off at Radio Shack, leaving my brother and me in the car. My ANNOYING brother.
Then we came home, and I napped on the couch.
...That's it really. My day probably would've been much more excited had I not been sick, but...I'm sick, so it's not exciting.
Alrighty. Adios...*cough cough sneeze sneeze cough* Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 11:10 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2001 : ( Today wasn't such a good day. It's wasn't entirely bad, but it wasn't good.
First of all, I'm ill with a cold again. I couldn't breathe all that well while sleeping last night, so I only slept a couple of hours.
Did my regular morning routine (shower, change, eat breakfast). I was flipping through the channels when I landed on VH1, which was showing an old interview/performance thingy by George Harrison. I was kinda confused; I hadn't seen much of George on TV and stuff lately. So when I went to brush my teeth, my mom said he had passed away. I was so sad, since I was obsessed with the Beatles a few years ago (Everything I listened to was the Beatles, everything I read was about the Beatles)
So ah...On the way to school, they played Beatles songs and George Harrison songs (which reminds me, I really want to download this one song...)
School was quite boring. I had three tests: History (on WWI, I don't think I did that well), English (SAT word test, 50 points, I think I did very well), and Precalc (test on Law of Sines and Cosines, I think I did very well on this one also). Then Spanish, We had a fire drill, but it wasn't that bad cause it was 70° out.
Okay, my mom wants to watch Americas Funniest Home Videos (I love this show all over again), so I'll continue later. Hasta! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:15 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2001 Not again... Getting...hooked...on...new...game..
...Want...Final..Fantasy....X..
Must...have....Playstation2...first....
...ANYWAYS..I was looking at this shrine to this FFX character, Rikku. So let's see...Apparently, she's afraid of thunder and lightning (*points to self*). So...this makes me want to dye my hair blonde and cosplay as her. I imagine the clothes aren't that hard, just the hair.
I'm now reading about Tetsuya Nomura, the character designer for the past few Final Fantasies. It says that he based Squall on River Phoenix and Seifer on David Bowie. That's so cooooool. I love Tetsuya Nomura.
...Other than that..I'm coming down with a cold (I believe). The outlook is not good.
Anything else? Nope. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:14 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2001 ^__^ I'm super-bored.
I've started playing FFVII again!! Yayyy! Let's see...I just got out of Costa del Sol. I finished the Midgar section in a matter of 3-5 hours (sorry, I wasn't timing myself). Kalm is always boring...Cloud's story-telling takes sooooo damn loooooooong. And Tifa keeps interrupting. XP
Grr....I forgot to call this girl I'm supposed to tutor in Spanish...Maybe I can find her in school and ask her...or something.
You know, last year, I'm probably the one who needed tutoring in Spanish. Wheew, was I bad in that class. But look at me now *spotlight*
To tell you the truth, I don't really WANT to tutor someone...Staying after school is such a pain because I have to get a ride, and my brother is always like "WAH WAH WAH You have to call me unexpected WHINE WHINE WHINE".
So...maybe I'll ask my Spanish teacher to find someone else. It was really weird when she asked me. She called me up to her desk and I was like "Oh no oh no oh no oh no why am I in trouble?"..Then she asked me IN SPANISH (I hate that) if I could tutor this girl in Spanish II. I said "Help someone else?" so she continued in English *phew*.
Um...I got my CD case from KIM. It's still good, cause it has the autographs on it. So yeah.
I don't know what else to write I don't know what else to write I don't know what else to write.
So I'm gonna go. Byee! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:49 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2001 >___< It's raining, it's pouring, no one is snoooring.
So what have I been doing? Hm..Just what did I do yesterday?? Agh...Umm..OH I went to the UM Basketball game. It was fun ^__^. We were sitting in the wrong seats before the game (because Ticketmaster SUCKS ASS). We were accidentally sitting in the Season Ticket Holders section, but the usher guy informed us that we just had to move a section over. I was actually relieved to move, because it had a better view. So..I had a big thing of nachos to eat, and a large cup of Mountain Dew to share with my brother. It was nice. They won too. 70-something to...something.
The rest of the day I did practically nothing...But late at night, I started reading this FF7 fanfic. I loove it. It's supposed to be a Vincent×Yuffie, but it's...not really. It's cute though. I'm not really that much of a Vincent fan (though I'm in love with that pic of him as a Turk in Ehrgiez. I think I established this in an old old old entry...or maybe that was my scribble...Oh, I take that back. It was on something completely different.) There's also a little part on Reno (who's not really all that cute, but for some reason, he is after you read too many Yuffie×Reno fics)..It's sad, but cute. What happens supposedly is that he got married to this girl and they had a daughter, but at first, his wife didn't really want the baby. So the baby was born (and Reno loved her to death)and after two years, the wife started having an affair. Reno came home one day and found his daughter home alone and when his wife came back, he went ballistic and got really mad at her. So the next day (or sometime in the near future), he came home from work, and his daughter wasn't there. All he found was his wife playing with one of their daughter's building blocks with blood on it. So...words can't describe what he must've been going through...He told her if he sees her again, he'll kill her (and he meant it) so he left for a few days and when he came back she was gone (of course). And he was supposed to be a mere 20 years old. Of course, this is only a fictional story and the world in the story is a bit worse than ours...But still. I would think that this could be possible, however terrifying it is.
Anyways, Reno tells Tifa about his daughter and she tries to comfort him...But right as she is, Cloud waltzes on in.
I have no idea why I'm saying this since I know no one understands me...
Despite that...Cloud sees Tifa hugging Reno, this dude he's never really liked, and can only think of the worst.
The main plot, about Vincent and Yuffie, isn't all that great. You kinda know they're not going to hook up. He's like, a 60 year old in a 25 year old's body (he doesn't age), and she's 17.
It doesn't suck either. The only really frightening thing is imagining the sights of some of the things in the story. For example, there are these faceless men that chase Vincent and Yuffie for a while, and it just looks really nasty in my mind. Eeww. And they only die if you shoot them in the head at close range. Well...maybe not.
Enough about the story.
Cramp cramp cramp crampppp...Hurt hurt hurt hurtt.
You know...I think the Ravens do better when I'm in pain. They're winning right now, while I'm left with the monthly monster. When they won the Superbowl, I had a cold, fever, headache. I was so delirious when they won.
I'm also always sick on the weekends or on vacations. Right after school let out last year, I got a cold. On the weekend after Beach Bash, I got a cold. On the weekend after Homecoming, I got a cold. And each day (minus the summer vacation one), I had to go back to school the upcoming Monday.
Ah...What else? I'm dreading going back to school tomorrow...Except I get to brag to my friend about the UM game. I didn't tell her I was going since my dad ordered the tickets on Tuesday afternoon after I got home from school (I didn't have school for the rest of the week) and I didn't feel like calling her. BRAG BRAG BRAG. And also, I hope to see ***** in the hallways XD XD XD XD.
I think I shall now read some more of this FFVII fanfic, then go lie down to settle these raging cramps. Adios! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 04:07 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2001 Black Friday? Isn't that what today is called? The day after Thanksgiving when everyone goes shopping crazily.
So..Yesterday was fun. It was at my Uncle's house, which is like an hour away. On the way there I listened to my mix of Utada Hikaru MP3s, then took a short nap. We arrived...I walked around for about 5 minutes trying to wake up, played a little with my cousins, then began eating. I ate like, 10 deviled eggs...Yuumm. I missed my chance at the stuffing (plus, the first batch of stuffing looked kinda...icky, so my cousin made her own, but I didn't want to take it all). Ate..blah blah blah. If I haven't already said it, my 2 year old cousin is hilarrious. She was playing with my cousin's baby doll and a little play baby bottle. So she was going crazy with it. My brother said "Can we name the baby Spongebob?" and she said "NO! It's Kelly!". Then he said "How about Bob?", so she replied "No! YOU'RE BOB!" That makes it even funnier, because the last time we saw her, she kept calling my brother "Bub" and "Boy"
Later, I played on my cousin's computer (She had AIM too, but I decided not to go online). Before I knew it, everyone was leaving...
Went to bed around 2 last night. My brother woke me up at 10 ("HEY BIG A!" For some reason, my brothers and dad call me "Big A" and I have no idea why) and we went to some Computer show that turned out to be as boring as hell (and left me with a green stamp on my hand). We went to Taco Bell for lunch (XD XD XD), but this time, I only ate 3 tacos. Hhaha
Came home, then my mom and I went to the mall. First she wanted to go to Starbucks to get something to eat, since she had not eaten lunch yet. I got a nice piece of Cheesecake. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuum. Before arriving at Starbucks, we went in Bath and Body Works so I could buy some more shower stuff (Cucumber Melon. XD).
Then...Sears, where I got a new pea coat and my mom got three pairs of pants. Then American Eagle (left empty handed), the Limited (empty-handed again), Discovery Channel store (two ornaments -- a cute little cow and pig -- for my mom's coworker and husband, a calender for someone...I don't know who yet), Gap (empty-handed), and finally Fossil (I got two turtlenecks and a free mini sticker of the flag). Came home (finally).
That's all. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 05:57 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2001 I am so tired... So my brother woke me up at around 4 this morning, and it wasn't that bad. Threw on some clothes, grabbed my CD player and gameboy. Took two jackets, a scarf, a hat, and pair of gloves. We got there (after making a complete circle on one road), and were initially in the wrong parking lot (until we saw some people frantically running down a nearby hill to the correct parking lot). My cousin (who had come too after my brother told him of the little thing) was already waiting, and told me that I couldn't participate because I had to be 18 to win. XP So, all I could do was watch.
The contest was really a raffle. You get a ticket, they call out 50 numbers (51 actually, there was a grand prize). My cousin almost won. His number was inbetween two winning numbers. My oldest brother came close to winning quite a couple of times, my other brother....did not.
You should SEE the people at these things. They are nuts. It's like, 20° out, and there are these two guys standing there shirtless just to get attention. They were throwing out T-shirts too, at one point, my brother stepped on me trying to catch one (but was unsuccesful). By the end, I couldn't feel my feet, hands, or nose.
Jumped back in the car, drove home (which I slept the whole way). When we got home, I STILL couldn't feel my feet. I also couldn't lean to the right, because when I was sleeping, I was bent all the way to the left to lay down on the seat. I felt so..old..
Tried sleeping for a while (no one would let me lie down or lean on anything XP XP XP, then they all yelled at me to go somewhere else, even though the family room was the warmest room in the house at that point)...played some Gameboy..Then my mom took me out with my grandma. She took me to Taco Bell (which my dad and brothers planned to do, as said yesterday, but went to McDonalds instead) and I ate four soft tacos and a large cup of Code Red. My grandma wanted to go get a donut from Dunkin Donuts, so she bought me a box of 25 Munchkins :) :) :). My mom also claimed to see a Taco Bell worker sneaking into a nearby Burger King...
Made a visit to the local Asian Grocery Store (THEY HAVE NO POCKY. I was so angry). Then returned to my grandma's house, where my mom and grandma made dumplings for tomorrow night while I slept some more. Then came home..watched a little of the 2nd Pokémon movie, and ate dinner.
That, in six paragraphs, was my day.
I wonder when I'm going to get my CD-less EP from KIM. :P
Whee I just put up a Christmas-themed (haha, no Thanksgiving, sorry ()^__^) Love Hina wallpaper on my desktop!
Ack that's all! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:03 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 *pant pant pant* This weekend is going to be so packed...
Tomorrow, I might go with my brothers to win some computer stuff (chips, hard drives..I don't know), but my brother wants to leave at 3 or 4 AM. The reason I want to go is that there's an Anime store in the mall where the place is, so I want to go there. :) My dad also said we're going to Taco Bell for lunch tomorrow. Yayy Taco Bell!
Then Thursday, of course, is Thanksgiving, and we're going to my uncle's house. We thought we were going to my grandmother's house (who only lives like, 5 minutes away) but instead we're going to his house, which is like, an hour and a half away.
Friday, hopefully, will be completely free...
Saturday, my dad is taking my brothers and me to the MD vs Delaware basketball game. Yes!! He's also looking at tickets for this tournament in early December...WOO!
Sunday...will be free also.
Dude, KIM sent me the EP....WITH NO CD. So it's not really an EP, is it? XP
Okay that's all for right now. I'll update later. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 05:04 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2001 Ack? I just took a nap, and I had a weird dream. Actually it sucked.
One part was that my mom was going wacko and getting all famous and had a roller coaster built in our basement. There was also some scary old guy who was stalking me and kept standing there in my room. He wasn't mean, cause I asked him to leave once and he did...But he was just...scary.
The other part disturbs me more. I was in school or something, and ***** was in my class. So he got up and started giving kisses and gifts to all these girls...except me. I was so disappointed...XP XP XP
So...I woke up about a half an hour ago when my dad came home. That's all. Toodle-oo! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 05:59 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2001 Owwie I just went to go see the school play, "The Buddy Holly Story". I WANT TO MARRY EVERY SINGLE SEXY MALE IN THE CAST. That includes **** (the guy who played Buddy Holly), **** and *****, (who played the Crickets), ***** (if his is in bold, I don't think he needs to be described), ***** (Big Bopper, which sounds like a teen magazine), and some guy whose name I don't know (guy who played Ritchie Valens. THRUST THRUST THRUST. I'm not thrusting because he's hot, he just had very good hip movement).
Favorite moments:
Okay, that's enough moments. There were probably more...
Anyways. The play was about 3 hours long. It was so good though.
I'm drinking a Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino. Listening to Utada Hikaru (suprised?)
MY FRIEND DIDN'T COME WITH ME. I wasn't mad, because I knew it was like a 50/50 chance, but I thought she might call me and say that she couldn't come, but she didn't. So...I went with my mom. Who wasn't as fun.
I want to go see some meteors... Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 10:42 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2001 Yes! Today was actually very eventful! Doesn't happen too often.
Woke up, showered...all that boring stuff. Went to school, blah blah blah.
In computer science (coughcoughIIIGT/APcoughcough) (ACK! When I was typing "cough cough" I kept typing "cout cout" from too much C++ programming! O.o), the teacher handed back the test we took last week or so. I got a 63 out of 70, which is just barely an A. So...that wasn't that great, because I had already known what my grade was. Moving on...
Latin, we also got back our tests from a week or so ago. I got a 107 out of 108! That was the highest grade in the class. My friend kept poking at me saying "You're so smart! Why are you so smart??!" and I was like "I'm not THAT smart!" So...I was very excited about that.
Physics, we did a little activity which I can't exactly describe. But it was fun. I was doing especially well, but my group still didn't win. My teacher said we were really close though.
Lunch! I sped down the halls, and walked straight to the ticket table for the play. I bought two tickets ($14) for tomorrow night. Yayyy! I thought maybe it would be sold out because it was doing so well, and Saturday is closing night. But there were a lot of tickets left! I was so happy. Now I have an extra ticket, so I invited my friend (the poke-y one) and she said she'll call me if she can. I really hope she can, because if she does she can drive us and I can get a ride, rather than nagging one of my family members.
Spanish, we got back the test we took yesterday. I GOT A 40/40! YES! I actually missed 1˝ points, but I got 2 points for the extra credit problem. So I should really have 40˝ out of 40, but what does a half a point do to your average? Nothing.
When I got home, my mom had come home from work early (or at least earlier than she usually does) and took my brothers and I out shopping. First we went to Best Buy, where I bought a GBA-GBC (Gameboy Advanced and Color) link cable ($7.99!) and a Pocket Pikachu G/S ($4.99!!). Then we went to another store, then...Electronics Boutique so my brother could admire the GameCubes (which they didn't have, but they had a bundle of games for it?). My mom and I saw a pre-played "Hey You, Pikachu!" for 19.99, so my mom bought it for me. So I can cross that off my Christmas list.
Then Starbucks to get a warm drink, and...home. I immediately went to go hook up the N64 and play Hey You Pikachu. IT IS SO FUN. It's hard to make sure that Pikachu understands you, but it's really easy cause it's made for like, 7 year olds.
Oh my god, what is happening to my typing!?! In that last sentence of the last paragraph, I made like, 20 typos. BLASPHEMY! (as Alex might say)
You know, I'm actually kinda jealous of my friend (the one I invited to the play). She's friends with like, all these cute guys that I have crushes on. Well..almost. I believe ***** is in one of her classes, and was bugging her on when she told him she couldn't go to the play (though she now might be able to cancel her Saturday plans). I was like "!!!". If he said that to me, I'd be like "............................*drool*..........*faint*".
Wooo brings back memories of the end of the last school year. ***** was sitting across from me because this one girl friend (notice that she's not a girlfriend, but a girl friend) sits diagonally from me. So I was sitting there...sweating buckets, but doing nothing in particular. So he just kinda says "...studying hard?" Of course, I blush insanely, and nod. Also last year, *****, the girl friend (who I was kinda friends with too), and I were staying after school working on a project (there were others too, but they were not present), and the two tried to pressure me into telling them who I liked. I must've looked like a tomato wearing clothes. I didn't have a crush on ***** back then, actually, so maybe it wasn't too bad. He was in my 4th period for 2 straight years, and I have to be stuck with SPANISH this year. SPANISH! I hate Spanish! I wonder what foreign language ***** takes...Anyways...I'll never forget what he said. *swoon*
So, back to my day...I spent a total of about $32. I'm kinda in the mood to play "Hey You Pikachu" but...the N64 is in the basement, and the basement is cold. Brr.
I think that's enough for today. Hasta. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:16 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2001 ::INSERT SUBJECT HERE:: Today was an okay day. In history, I forgot to do my homework (which turned out to be 46 points), so I have to work extra hard in that class now. I got a 100% on the last test, though. You have no idea how happy I was. That was the first A I've ever got on a chapter test. I usually got Bs or Cs (even Ds), but I got 100! Yayy! There were 5 other 100s, so the teacher gave us a cup of soda. I didn't want it at first, because it was so early in the morning, but I drank it anyway. It was a little flat.
English...English was boring. Highlight in that class was probably...seeing the Brazilian exchange student (who happens to sit in front of me) after a haircut. He used to have long curly hair, but it's so short. Everyone was like "Where'd your head go!?"
Precalc was okay too. I got another 100! On a quiz about the law of sines. I wasn't the only one though. There were 8 other 100s. 21 As all together. Now we're doing the law of cosines. a˛ = b˛ + c˛ - 2bc cos A. Or b˛ = a˛ + c˛ - 2ac cos B. Or c˛ = a˛ + b˛ - 2ab cos C. You get the idea.
Spanish, I had a test on "presente perfecto" and "pluscuamperfecto". I think I did well.
Tomorrow, I have Computer Science, which will be undoubtedly boring. Latin, in which I have a test/quiz on the 2nd conjugation. Physics, I have a lab due (*wince*)
Last night, I made burned a mix of Utada Hikaru MP3s. Now I can sing to her songs in my room (instead of just at the computer)!
I decided that the Anime DVDs I listed in my Christmas list (see past entry) are Fushigi Yűgi (obviously), Love Hina (if there are Love Hina DVDs. I heard it's licensed by Bandai, but I'm not sure if it's released), Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (aka KareKano), and...I don't know what else. I actually want Love Hina the most because the style that the characters are drawn in really fascinates me. The coloring is really soft, and it's just so pretty.
I just printed out an Otakon 2002 Pre-Registration form. Yay! I'm gonna pre-register I'm gonna pre-register
I take back the stuff about Love Hina. Apparently, Bandai isn't releasing it until February 2002. So XP on that.
I'm cold, so I shall go change and...stuff. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:26 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2001 Whee! I'm in Computer Science, yet again. We have a subsitute (again), and everyone's doing something they're not supposed to (well not everyone). I forgot the packet we're supposed to be looking out of, so I really do have a good excuse (*wink*)
So eh...There's also this kid (sophomore) who sits in the row in front of me, and he's playing with Macromedia Flash! I found no traces of Macromedia Flash on the computer I'm using right now. I want to play with flash too...
I forgot to do my Latin homework, but I probably would've screwed it up anyway. XP I also didn't do my Physics homework, but homework in Physics is only extra credit. So...I don't HAVE to do it.
This monitor is so small. I think the resolution is at 800 by 600 and I'm really not used to it at all. Big resolutions, I say!
And...I feel very awkward writing this right now so I shall depart. So long! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:46 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2001 :( Man I feel so sorry for New Yorkers now. They must be so on edge.
I downloaded a few more songs.
But my favorite song on my winamp list is still Utada Hikaru "Distance". I loooove this song. I can sing it, and I don't even know what I'm singing. Pathetic, yes?
I suddenly have a strong desire to own a Playstation 2, because I just learned FFX (Final Fantasy 10) comes out January 2nd. I don't think I have school that day. What school would give school the day after the new year starts?
Oh man, today in Latin, we had to translate this short little paragraph-ish excerpt in our textbook into English. It makes me hate Latin now. Me and my friend were working together, and we had no idea what to do. It's all because of the combination of no word order in the Latin language and the confusing endings of all the nouns and adjectives (the verbs were pretty easy to point out)
That is all. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:23 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2001 "Umm..." If you go back, you'll see that I've written that in almost all my entries at least once.
I love KIM. She got me the EP signed by Jasonn! *faints* Apparently, he wrote "I love you and your math skills" because she told him that I was good at math. Wheeeeee! She's telling me all about the show. I am so envious...lol
I don't seem very excited yet. It hasn't quite sunk in maybe. Or maybe it's because it's the second time...I'm sure if I was there, I'd be much more excited...I'm not sure.
Tonight, I went to my uncles house for a party for my grandmother's birthday. It was mucho fun. My 2 year old cousin is so adorable. She was already bouncing off the walls when we arrived, and stayed like that into much of the night. For a while, I just played around with her. Then I ate dinner (which in my opinion, wasn't as good as usual but oh well. It wasn't bad either) and I drew and colored some on my cousin's (the 2 year old one) sketchpad. My two other cousin's soon joined in. We compared our handwriting and tested crayon colors.
Then I walked around a bit, and then came back to the area where my cousin's and I drew. My cousin's were making Christmas lists, so I joined in too. Shall I write it out here? Certainly.
So yes. I also got my uncle's emails (as well as my 10 year old cousin, for a reason I don't know) so I can email my list to them. They suggested it, not me. But my aunts will want to know so..yeah.
By far, I want "Hey You, Pikachu" the most. I visited the official site last night. IT WAS SO CUTE. The excessive amount of "Pika!"s was soo adorable. It's especially cute when you go to a different section, because you can hear him go "Pika pika pika pika pika.." like he's singing. Adorable.
And now I'm chatting with Alex and KIM, having a jolly ol' time, while listening to Utada Hikaru (I cannot stop listening to this song. I wish I could stop, but I can't!)
By the way, I had to give up the FY box set. I'm so sad. I feel so incomplete. He didn't even give me the OAVs! Hopefully I'll get them in two weeks at Thanksgiving. Or I can just buy them myself. They don't cost nearly as much as the other box sets because I think they only have like, 2 discs.
Okay, that's all. Hasta. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 10:17 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2001 @(#$& Nintendo takes pleasure in pissing the hell out of me. DAMMIT. I just got Pokémon Crystal today, and I was sooo happy because I was going to trade some Pokémon! But guess what? YOU NEED A SMEEPING GAMEBOY COLOR. We only have ONE Gameboy Color. THREE Gameboy Advances, but only ONE Gameboy Color. *kicks the bejesus out of Nintendo* DAMN YOU!
And to make things even better, Gameboy Colors cost $69.99. I would think that they'd be like, $20 now, since they've been out so long. But noooo, they have to be 70 dollars, more than I can afford.
Pokémon Crystal is a good game though. You can choose to be a girl in the beginning (those sexist Nintendo game developers...Takes them a couple of years to realize girls play video games too)
So yeah...I say boycott! I want to boycott everything. Hehehe...
What pleased me was that I saw a pink Gameboy Color at Target (where I got Pokémon Crystal XD). That's so cool! I was like "That Gameboy has my name written all over it..."
My mom told me that I could get Crystal now, and Gold later. Before, I said that I wanted both but she doesn't want me to get them at the same time. So I agreed.
Umm...I'm going to go eat some ice cream to drown my sorrows from the Gameboy Color troubles. Ta-ta! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 11:10 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2001 I am bursting with joy! I HAVE AN A IN PHYSICS! It's so close too! A 90.8%! *phew* I'm not going to make honor roll, because I have a C in history because I just hate history. Well, I hate the course, not the actual subject. My teacher doesn't grade anything. We grade our homework, and homework is the majority of our grade. I missed like, 2 homeworks, and they were around 20 or 30 points each. Plus, the tests (which we have every week) are supposed to be from the book, but everyone knows that books always put stuff on those tests that aren't even IN the book itself. So XP to that.
Then I have a B in English, B in Precalc, B in Spanish. I don't know what I have in Computer Science (It's either a high B or an A. Pray for the latter). An A in Latin and, *smiles* an A in Physics. If I do get an A in CS, and some blessed teacher raises one of my Bs to an A, I will make honor roll! Not principal's honor roll (= 3.8 GPA I think). Honor roll is good enough for me. This one friend of mine has gotten straight A's every year in high school, but she's one of those really high achievers and does extra credit as much as she can (she's in my history class, and on every homework, she writes more than needed so she gets extra credit, and yesterday she said that she'd still have an A without the extra. Hello run-on sentence).
Umm...I recently (a few days ago) got a new postpet. I now have 3, which is way too many. It's a dog...I named him after *****, but used his last name instead to baffle anyone who might be suspicious (*chuckle*). I didn't really want the dog, but out of the rabbit, cat, and dog (the ones I had never used), the dog won. The rabbit and cat had low intelligences and condition and whatnot, but high style. Who cares about style? It's the inner beauty that counts ^__^
Tomorrow is the dreaded picture day. I know what I'm going to wear though. Grey sweater-ish shirt from Gap (whoa-ho-ho low neck alert low neck alert), and either some black dress pants or khakis. Unfortunately, my better pair of khakis (from Aeropostale) are in the laundry, and my other pair (from Abercrombie) are much too long. Soo...I dunno.
Well well well, I have to finish Precalc homework. Bah to solving triangles (finding all the angles and side values)! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 03:37 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2001 XP Grr, I can't stand the fact that all of my favorite sites are down, screwed up, or haven't been updated for 2 months (...that would include my site too, wouldn't it? *wince*). There's Anipike.com, which is just plain down (the European mirror site said that they're having server problems). Then...Tasty Graphite, which hasn't been updated since 9/1...Up in Smoke, which is a Trigun site, hasn't been updated since JULY (*smacks forehead*)...This one FF7 fanfiction site has recently moved to Crosswinds, which I think is the worst host ever. Ads on the page, I can handle (even those stupid ad boxes that geocities has), but pop-ups are a huge no-no, especially multiple ones. Then ones that pop up after a different pop-up has been closed! Geez, I'm going to sue those ad people, just for immense stupidity.
All the band sites (PPF.com, rooney-band.com) have been updated, but not very well...
Last night and today, I worked on a new blog layout! It looks bad (hehe), but it's new! I feel somewhat proud, just for getting off my ass for the first time in like, 4 months. So it might be up soon, it might not...I need somewhere to put the image I'm using for the top, and Envy.nu is just...stupid...I'm not sure if Geocities still does it. I don't think it does. It might be possible to put it on the server that my brothers set up in the basement (*evil cackle* *stops to wonder what exactly she's cackling evil-ly about*)...I was going to use the picture of Yuffie from Ehrgiez (Tetsuya Nomura is such a genius when it comes to character design. The ones from Ehrgiez are just beautiful) but Paint Shop Pro sucks...I didn't have any good designs to make with it. I was also thinking about using a pic of Vash, but, again, PSP sucks and I couldn't select Vash very well. I'm thinking about putting Picture it! back on, but...I need to get some crap off the hard drive first. I only have like, 2 GB left...I keep downloading and downloading. First to go will be the To Heart episdoes I dled a few days ago....I still have 4 more to dl though. Along with the episodes will be the MP3s that are collecting dust. Maybe get rid of Cheetachat too. Who knows the last time I used it (I'll probably regret it later too...*sigh*). AH! I can get rid of this CoffeeCup thing (I used it to make a spiffy Flash...thing, but now that I actually have Macromedia Flash, I don't need it). Maybe get rid of "Black and White" (the PC game where you play god. It's fun, but...not fun..And plus, my brother is like, hiding the CD for it)
Whoaaa I DO have Picture It! HAHA yes! But I'll just keep listing things I can get rid of.
Umm...I want to get the rest of the FFVII OST, but...I don't know where. Selfish brother..*grunt*
This Agent program (it's for searching newsgroups) is really huge, but it's too good to delete! :( Maybe if my dad FINALLY took all his stuff off the other hard drive, I could download to that.
With these two hard drives, the total capacity is 22.08 GB. But guess what? We only have 4 GB left. 4 out of 22.08. Is that bad or what? Most of it is taken up by my dad's stuff though. I'll tell him to get it off sooner or later.
Aye, it's getting late, so I shall be off! Saaayonaraaa! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:06 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2001 An update on the happenings of my life What a bland title...
Anyways...Let's see. Yesterday I went to a University of MD football game with my dad and brother. UM beat Troy State XD. It was my first UM football game ever. So I was excited. My family is also planning to go to a UM basketball game sometime this season, before they stop using Cole Field House, because I've never been to a UM basketball game either.
After the game, we walked around campus and my dad and brother reminisced about college life. "This used to be all parking lot!!" "That building is new, isn't it?" "*points at a window on the third floor* That was my room for one semester..." It was sooo boring. Then we went to one store; my bro bought a UM hat, I got a red and white pom-pom (hehe), and my dad got a UM window flag (the ones that you put on your car window).
We left the house at noon, got stuck in traffic for an hour, watched the game for three hours, then spent two hours going home. XP I was so exhausted on the way home. I fell asleep with my CD player on.
Today, I hope to go to the movies and see Monsters Inc. IT LOOKS SO CUTE.
The Princess Diaries comes out on DVD in December, so I'm hoping to get it for Christmas. :)
Umm...Friday, I watched some FY and seriously went screencapping-crazy. 25 screencaps I took. Yessiree.
I also just downloaded a few episodes of To Heart. I now have episodes one through nine. Only four more to go!
Uhh...I think that's all. Maybe I'll go watch more FY XD XD Byee Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 12:58 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2001 Hmph! So it's November already? This year went by pretty quick (as did last year). It seems like yesterday I was freaking out because KIM went to the members only show. I wonder when the next members only show will be. I wonder if I'm even a member anymore. I'm not sure if I got my renewal card in or not. I haven't gotten a Band In the USA since like, July...That doesn't sound right.
Pitas.com ate an entry yesterday. In a few days, it will be reguritated in complete form. Do not fret.
I haven't watched any FY in like, a month. I've been too busy with homework and keeping my grades up (and I wasn't completely successful XP)
We had 2 groups (I think) of trick-or-treaters last night. I was actually napping so I wasn't there, but that's what I was told.
I get out two hours early tomorrow because it's the end of the quarter. Yay! Two more hours to go to waste XD
Umm...Roooooooooooxxxxaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnneeee....Yoooou don't have to put out the red liight......
Tomorrow is my Latin test. Please cross your fingers for me! I have to know two declensions of nouns (each of which has five pairs of endings for five cases), a conjugation of verbs (which have six endings each), and a crapload of adjectives that could have a total of 18 endings! I already established the fact that this test does not go on this upcoming report card, but I don't want to start the second quarter off rusty. That'd be bad.
Dude! Apparently there's a Princess Diaries 2 coming out November 2002. Whooa. What else comes out next year? Slackers, Mandy Moore's new movie (hahhaha), the new PP album ("Phantom Planet Was Here" HAHHAAHHHAHAHHHAHA Can you say Willa Ford-ish?)...I don't know what else.
Next spring is my physics trip to Six Flags! Wooo! Roller coasters yayy! KIM is coming to NY in the spring too, and if I'm super-lucky (okay I feel like a dork saying that), then I'll be up in NY too and Alex, KIM, and I can chill and be geeky together (or at least I'll be geeky) and whatnot.
My hands are cold and I have a strong desire to watch Fushigi Yűgi and take billions of screencaps so I'm going to say sayonara for now! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 03:13 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2001 Eeek *has to resort to taping her mouth shut*
MAN MAN MAN. I'm going to pull my hair out keeping this in.
I downloaded some more songs. Four Police songs (Every Breath You Take, Roxanne, Message in a Bottle, and Every Little Thing She Does is Magic) and one U2 song (With or Without You). I want to hear the Utada Hikaru version of With or Without you. She apparently sang it for MTV Japan's Unplugged.
Roxaaaaaaanne you don't have to put out the red liiight... Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:17 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2001 HALLOWEEN BWAHA I had my physics test today. I think I royally failed.
Annd...We had a party today in ASIA club. There was a box of pizza left so I snatched it and graciously gave it to hungry students. I was outside waiting for my dad to come pick me up, and these three girls came like, running full speed down the hall, outside, all the way to me to get pizza. I was like "Does word spread fast??" and they were like "yeah, now can I have some?"
Tomorrow is my History test (my prediction from last entry was right on the ball). I'm probably going to fail that too. Then Friday is my Latin test, but it's not going to go on this quarter's grades so my final grade in Latin is a 96%. Yay!
My brother went to a job interview today. If he gets the job, he'll probably take drivers ed (he has no license *laughs hysterically until she realizes she's not funny*) and I'll probably get to take it with him! The one my other brother went to isn't in business anymore (or maybe they just changed locations)
When will I get a new pitas layout??! Never. This page will just get longer and longer and longer and longer. Just like the energizer bunny keeps going and going and going and going and going and going and going....
That is all! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 03:17 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2001 XD
I downloaded 3 new songs in the past hour. L'Arc-en-Ciel's "Spirit Dreams Inside" from the Final Fantasy Movie Soundtrack, KC and the Sunshine Band's "That's the Way I Like it" (DDR 2nd Mix), and Aretha Franklin's "Respect". From the Forrest Gump Soundtrack (XD).
I'm having a test every day of the week. I had a Spanish test today, and I have a Math and English test on Tuesday, a Physics test on Wednesday, a History test (isn't confirmed, but is highly expected) on Thursday, and a Latin test on Friday. Computer Science is the only class I don't have a test in.
My brother got me Macromedia Flash 5 to make Flash things, but I have noo clue how to use it. It's incredibly confusing. The help files are just like "It's easy! Do this and that and you're done" and all I can do is stare. He said his friend is one of the few people who really knows Flash...Man. That must've been hard.
I think I shall be going now...I'm getting..sleepy.. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 03:16 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2001 One, two, cha cha cha....
Let's see.
First, I have been assured that I don't have anthrax (boy that was a suprise, wasn't it? XD). Apparently, it's a bruised muscle or something. My dad has a couple on his arms, and my grandma had one too I think, so maybe it's just genetics. Well damn genetics to hell! I hate this thing!
I'm listening to Weezer's "Only in Dreams", which I haven't listened to in ages. "Oxygen and carbon dioxiiiide"!
I watched the Road Rules marathon today, since the season finale is on tomorrow. I wish it would go back to like, the earlier seasons. They're turning it into Survivor! XP I'm not liking this Katie girl that much...When they were doing the job in Morocco and she refused to put her legs in. I was just like "SUCK IT UP AND DO IT, BITCH". I also liked when Sofia and Ellen bonded over how they're keeping secrets from their parents. I thought it was cute. The last episode they showed made me really despise the Real Worlders. Road Rules is just like Real World, but with missions. So....that makes it better XD. And plus, one of the missions they got was to go on a blind date with someone. I'd rather do that than sit around and do nothing in a big (but nice) house.
There's a Halloween party at school on Wednesday. I was thinking about that when I saw a commercial for some kareoke thing on TV. It was HILARIOUS. It was even funnier thinking if we had that at the party. I was also thinking of bringing my DDR pad. Haha...nah that'd suck.
I'm getting addicted to this Agent thing that my dad uses to search newsgroups (and download MP3s that will not be listened to afterwards). I downloaded Utada Hikaru's Distance album, and a couple songs from Weezer's blue album. And a couple other things.
I had a test in Spanish on Friday, and I think I did pretty well. It was a vocabulary (from a story) test, and those are always pretty difficult.
Oooh Michael Vartan on Alias...Yum..I also saw him in "The Next Best Thing" a few weeks ago. I haven't seen "Never Been Kissed" in a long time. It used to come on every other day.
DUDE, the Virgin Suicides was on last night at like, 11:30 and I MISSED IT. It was 1 something and I was flipping through the channels and it was already over. I was so mad! It doesn't even come on at all the rest of the week! It probably won't come on til January or something. Grrr
Annnd my mom is making me leave so I shall go now. Sayonara

I have this weird bump (like a bug bite) on my arm, and it doesn't itch much, but it hurts if pressed. I just found it today (first period to be exact). But dude, I was just reading this little faq on anthrax that my dad printed out. Please observe:
Cutaneous: Most (about 95%) anthrax infections occur when the bacterium enters a cut or abrasion on the skin, such as when handling contaminated wool, hides, leather, or hair products (especially goat hair) of infected animals. Skin infection begins as a raised itchy bump that resembles an insect bite but within 1-2 days develops into a vesicle and then a painless ulcer, usually 1-3 cm in diameter, with a characteristic black necrotic (dying) area in the center. Lymph glands in the adjacent area may swell. About 20% of untreated cases of cutaneous anthrax will result in death. Deaths are rare with appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
Do I have a reason to be frightened? Maybe. I haven't handled any mail lately...It might just be some weird bump that has nothing to do with anything. That's probably the case and I'm just overreacting, but even if that's 99.9% true, I'm not taking any chances.
Umm..let's see. I love latin class. We were going over different types of adjectives (attributive, substantive, predicative) and the teacher asked this one kid (when I say kid, I usually mean freshman). She asked him if the substantive was a noun (for example, the word "brave" in "the home of the brave"). He replied "..sort of" and she was like "SORT OF? There's no such thing as sort of! It's like being pregnant! You can't be a little pregnant, you're either pregnant or you're not!!". And it might not sound all that funny when you read it, but she's a little french woman (who teaches Spanish and Latin, go figure) who has a very very loud voice.
What else? Eh..we had a subsitute in Physics. He was pretty cool. We had a lab to do and this guy in my group brought in a CD of dance/techno music to play (we always listen to music when doing a lab) so I danced a little XD. We wrote down our data wrong, and could't figure out what was wrong until there was only like, 10 minutes left in class.
Yesterday in US History, at the very end of class, we were looking through these US News World Report magazines. The guy who sits next to me is from Pakistan (he's very nice, but has an thick accent so I can never understand him the first time) and he was suprised when he saw a map that showed where all these refugee camps were. They were all over the one side of Pakistan that borders Afghanistan, near Kabul.
Well, I'm going to go watch TV and do some homework (plus, worry about the stupid bump), so adios! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:51 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2001 WHORE!
Hahah I just yelled that at the TV. I'm watching this show "Dismissed" (and I don't know why I'm watching it..) but this girl was such a beeotch. So she got dismissed XD XD. And thrown in the pool. I almost cheered.
Other than that, I'm doing homework. Spanish homework to be specific. I'm actually a little cold so I'm gonna go change. Later! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 05:47 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2001 ^__^()()()
Pitas is confusing me. It always seems to lose entries, but after a few days, they appear out of nowhere. It's happened to me a few times. Then I have to go back and delete an entry because I hit the done button too many times.
My mom, brother and I went to the mall, but I didn't get anything. My mom bought a few things for the wedding tomorrow. A new purse (>.< I swear to god she has 20 billion purses)...she almost bought some earrings. I almost bought some Legos (Yay! Legos!), but my mom dragged me away. I almost bought a lot of things. But I left empty-handed.
It was really weird. About a half an hour ago, my parents, grandmother, brother and I (my other brother had already gone home) were sitting at the dinner table eating and we heard this loud bam. Like a gunshot. It was really weird, and we still don't know what it was. So hopefully we'll find out in the morning.
I made a few (few = nine) FY screencaps last night. I took like, 20, but only kept nine. I've already thought up a few cute little alt tags for them when I put them on my FY screencap page. Whee! After I put them up, I think I'm going to make more.
Hm..tomorrow is the PSATs, and I'm feeling butterflies. I've never taken them...I hope I do good. I think I'm gonna do pretty well on the math part, but the verbal..eesh. (*bites lip*)
When we were at the mall today, we went to Suncoast Video, and my brother and I hung out in the Anime section. Woooo. I was looking to see if they had Karekano (which is short for "Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou", or "His and Her Circumstances"), but they didn't. The have a LOT of Gundam and Dragonball Z. I'm truly sorry to any DBZ fans, but I cannot STAND DBZ. The way they're drawn (especially the hair) is absolutely frightening. I've never actually watched it, but I don't think I'd be very interested; I'm not too big on action anime like that.
Ta-ta for now. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:07 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2001 WAHAHHA
Oh man, I was playing around with the Narrarator program (it's in the Accessibility folder in the Accessories folder, in the Start menu). So I changed the voice, and made it read my favorites. One of the sites I have bookmarked is this site called Tasty Graphite, and in my favorites menu, it says "Tasty Graphite It's Uglier Than Your Momma!". So I fell out of my chair when the narrarator read it. I recommend it to someone who wants a good laugh. Go for the ones that end in exclamation points, because the narrator will exclaim it (kinda).
Woooo that's all. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 11:32 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2001 BAH HUMBUG
Pitas is losing points on my "nice sites" list. I wrote a nice long entry yesterday, and when I hit the "done!" button, it gave me a "page cannot be displayed" thing or whatever, so I just thought it would save it and show up later...But it never did! (*stomps*) So today when I finally saw that it didn't appear, I got quite pissed off.
I'm hoping this one will show up.
Umm...I was thinking about Otakon 2002. Maybe I'll cosplay. And if I did, I'd dress up as Yuffie or Miaka. I'll probably look better as Miaka (though I think I would have to lighten my hair a little, but I have no problem with that). Yuffie wouldn't be hard either, but my hair curls out, not in. So..hmm..if I go as Miaka, maybe I can threaten my brother and make him go as Keisuke (XD XD XD XD XD XD XD). I don't think he'll want to dye his hair blond though. I could never get him to do that XP . And I could get a costume from my cousin's girlfriend (since she cosplayed as Miaka this year), or get my mom to help me make a costume (My mom is a sewing whiz. I bow down to her). Now that I think about it, I want to try to put my hair up in buns more like Miaka. Aww that'll look so cuute!
I played a lot of Crazy Taxi today. It was fun. But now my whole family is like "Remind me to never get in a car with you". And my dad said "I don't think I'm going to let you get a license...". Hehehee...
I feel pressured to read Harry Potter. All my friends have read it, and they're all going to go see the movie the day it comes out.
My Kleenex box is my new best friend. I carry it around with me. XD
I'm trying to remember what I wrote in the lost entry. I got a 60/60 on a Computer Science Test (C++). I was very happy. And...I watched the last episode of FY (in Japanese)last night. It never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
I'm going to go make more FY screencaps...XD XD XD. Hasta! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:27 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2001 Wheeeeeeee!
I just watched a few FY episodes in Japanese. Geez, the ending still makes me cry.
So let's see...In school news, I got a 60/60 on my C++ test (*dances around*). And an A or B (I forget) on my Precalc test. I got an 81 on a recent Spanish test, but she said that she's going to let us retake the first part after school on Tuesday, so I might take that to see if I can boost it. And I got a 94 on my last Physics lab. But the one before that, I got a 75 or something. Everyone in the class got a bad grade on that lab though.
Umm...Tomorrow, I think I'm just gonna hang around the house all day...Nap, play video games, watch TV...Just whatever. Then Friday, I'm going to see if my mom can take me to the mall (because I didn't see her until she came home from work. She must have come home and left for work when I was napping XP). Thennn...Saturday is the PSATs...Sunday is free. Maybe my cousin can drop the FY OAVs this weekend. We'll see. I haven't been on AIM for a while. Whenever I get online, everyone's away or..offline.
I've been playing quite a bit of Jet Grind Radio (I forgot how much I love the music) lately. I'm on this one level and I can't beat it. At all. First of all, there are only two characters to choose from. Second, there are all these places you have to tag that are virtually inaccessible. And finally, those beeotch hitmen people have a bad attitude, are stationed everywhere, and (after tagging a certain number of signs) there are even worse beeotch hitmen with huge-ass whips. I either die from a whipping, run out of town from fright, or run out of time.
So what's the only option I see? CHEATING! I asked my brothers to help me hook up the dreamcast to the internet (because...they can) so I can download saved games, but they refuse. Wah wah wah. Dorks.
My one brother got all bitchy today. He asked me if I wanted to finish some leftover rice from dinner last night, and at first, I said maybe. Then I went into the other room, came back in and changed my mind (because my other brother was making chicken nuggets and I wanted some of those instead). So he goes nuts, but my other brother told me that it was because they were installing the garage door openers for my grandma, and they encountered some problem and didn't know what to do, so he was already pretty angry. So after hearing that, I didn't feel as bad.
Hmm, what else? I played some Pokémon today. The batteries finally died. I was trying to run them out because they were already low and I didn't want them to run out before I saved my game. Soo..I FINALLY made it to the Indigo Plateau, but the first of the elite four is a crazed psychic trainer. Grr I hate his pokémon. They all mangle the brains of my pokémon by using Psychic over and over and over and over and over. The only pokémon of mine that can withstand such attacks are Meganium and Gyrados ( I have two Gyrados, actually. One regular and one shiny XD). So that makes my remaining three pokémon (Beedrill, Graveler, and Pidgeotto) practically useless, since their speed isn't high enough, and they're quite weak because of their low levels. And I'm not catching any more pokémon because I want to save my pokéballs (and money)
I'm thirsty and a bit tired, so I shall be off now. Byee! ^.^ Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 01:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2001 *dies*
You know in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, when Cameron doesn't want to get out of bed? How he thinks he's dying? Yeah, that's how I feel. Except I went to school.
I..cannot..stop..listening..to...this...song...(this song = Final Distance). I'm gonna see if my mom will take me to the mall on Wednesday so I can buy Utada Hikaru's CD (or CDs). Aaand...I have to get the FY OAVs from my cousin sometime soon..Hmm...I can't believe how much he's away on AIM. He'll be away for hours at a time.
If I were to get my own domain, what would I name it? I wonder. I don't think I'd really care about the name all that much. I'd just be happy that I don't get popups! Whee
I have modified my playlist again.
So, um....right. That's all. Goodbye. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:28 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2001 *weep weep*
Anipike.com is down.
So uh...My head was hurting before, but now it's okay. Me and my bro were playing a couple of 2 player games before. It was fun. I must say, I think I should play more Fifa 2000. The little animations after the team scores are so cute, and I love the music. Then we played Horse in Tony Hawk Pro Skater, but we accidentally changed the word to "morsf" the first time. So I lost (badly), and at the end it said I was a morsf. We laughed a lot after that.
I have all 8 badges in Pokémon Silver! Whee! I'm on my way to the Indigo League, but there are a bunch of beeotch trainers on the way. There was one, I thought the battle would never end. It was this one dork who had a Gloom or something (some plant pokémon). So I'd cast Dragon Rage with Gyrados, and its HP would get really low, so it would use Recover. And this went on about 10 turns. I was getting sooo pissed off. I was about to throw the Gameboy across the room.
I drew a picture of my hand last night. It was late, and I had nothing to draw, so I drew my hand. XP
I didn't watch FY last night like I said I did, but I will now. So byee Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:19 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2001 *sigh*
I wish I could draw better...
I'm such a perfectionist, and too impatient. Which are two characteristics that are very very bad when trying to be an artist. Very.
For example, I'll draw something...Then say "no, that doesn't look right". And draw it again and say "...no, the other one was better" and curse at myself. XP
Uh...I went to bed really early last night. At like, 10. And slept until 10 AM. I almost woke up at 2 AM and then again at 6 AM but didn't. On a normal weekend, I'd go to bed abouuut...3 AM, then wake up around noon ^__^()
I was playing a lot of Pokémon Silver today. I have 7 badges now! *cheers* I had skipped two before. Right now, I'm in Kogane or Goldenrod or whatever city in the underground warehouse. The batteries are low though, so I don't want to run them out too quickly.
Oh, I was looking at this one page of this seiyuu (Japanese voice actors) and I went to this one site on the seiyuu for Hotohori. So I was reading this interview with him and Hikaru Midorikawa. It was so cute! This first excerpt is while they were talking about how they met.
Midorikawa: That was the first audition I ever got, and Nobutoshi Hayashi was there, too. Somehow, Koyasu-san's face and other things made a lasting impression on me. So, when we started working together, I recognized him and thought, "Oh, it's that guy." But that doesn't mean I particularly remember anyone else. This other one made me laugh a lot too. They were talking about what would happen if the two fell in love with the same girl (like Tamahome and Hotohori did with Miaka) so...
AM: So, Midorikawa-san, your opponent is yourself. Koyasu-san, who is your opponent? I love the "Well then, shall I make you transfer to another school?". That's hilarious. This makes me want to watch Fushigi Yűgi in Japanese now. Hehehe
...I was being serious about watching FY. So I shall go now then XD XD XD Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:44 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2001 Ouch ouch ouch
I have some sore on the inside of my cheek. It huurts...
Ah, I signed up for the PSATs today (Not the SATs, Jason XD XD). Today was the last day the fee would be $15. Next week, it will be $20. Then the test is on the 20th. A Saturday. I think my dad will take me to school (it starts at 8:00 AM. XP) and then both my parents will pick me up on their way home from work (hopefully). Then my mom (and probably my dad too) has to go to a wedding (you know that co-worker with the anime? Yeah, her. She and her fianceé didn't go to Otakon 2001, but they went last year). Soooo....
I got a 94 on my summer reading test! *dances* AND A B ON MY HISTORY TEST! It's a miracle. If I had only gotten one more right, I would have an A.
Oh yeah, I should scan those pics from Otakon and Homecoming I got back. They're actually not all that good...There is this one really funny photo of me and two friends in the car on the way to school (from the restaurant). It's kinda blurry, but very funny. I won't scan it though. :(

I'm a lot calmer than yesterday ("phew", right?). Spacebar is still broken, so I'm gonna see if my bros can pick up a new one when they go to their next computer show. They go quite often (though I haven't seen them go to any lately...). Plus, I bet they're a little cheaper at those shows.
I found this one site for Utada Hikaru lyrics...So now I can sing along (wheee!). Would you like to sing along too? Then click here! XD It only has lyrics for 6 songs though...But it is pretty hard to translate Japanese.
Oh, about that US History test. I studied like mad right before class started, so I think I did better than usual. :) Then I had a Summer Reading Test in English, and I think I did okay. I already know of some answers I got wrong. I think.
Precalc was okay too. The teacher was getting really mad with these four seniors that sit in the back cause all they do is talk talk talk. So she made them move up to the front row. But still, they talked talked talked. Right now in Precalc, we're doing sine and cosine graphing. It's not too easy, but not hard once you get the hang of it. And I am the master at drawing sine graphs. XD
Spanish was boring. But yesterday, we got back the quizzes from the other day and I got a 21/20. The teacher wrote ĄOLE! at the top. Hehehe.... That's like, the third straight ĄOLE! I've gotten.

I WANT A BOYFRIEND DAMMIT.
Who the hell invented pop-ups? I shall kill them. (Particularly ones from Crosswind, Angelfire, Tripod, those X-10 ones..Oh, and the ones that have toolbars or anything. Especially when there's more than one. AND ANIME SITES. Don't get me started on those goddamn "Vote for me in the Top 100" popup windows. I'm declaring war)
In History class, we have these chapter tests like, once or twice a week (which means, every or every other class). THEY'RE IMPOSSIBLE. I've never gotten an A on one. Never. And we have one tomorrow. It's an honors class in high school. We're not in college aiming for a masters degree.
Why couldn't I have older sisters? Why brothers? WHY WHY WHY?? And brothers that are complete assholes, if I might add?
Why must my father download MP3s, slowing ME down (I don't care what my brother says, if someone downloads something, it slows everyone down), then burn them to a CD and never listen to them again, or even acknowledge their existence?
Maybe I'm just PMSing, but I haven't had it like this since March. Damn, you don't know how depressed I was in March. And for no particular reason. I'd just come home and cry for like, 3 hours. Everyday.
And I don't even know why I'm doing this now. I should be happy. I mean, I'm 16. I'm young (which should NOT, and never should be, a reason for why Britney Spears dresses the way she does. Some of the clothes she wears shouldn't exist. Ever. They should be banned to the depths of hell). I'm getting pretty good grades. I have a lot of friends.
Don't worry. I'm not going to contemplate suicide. Suicide is just wrong. Period. I don't even want to talk about suicide. XP
Yeah, I just broke the spacebar so I'm gonna go. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:29 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2001 Right....
So it's quarter to 7 AM and I'm half asleep. Eating a waffle. Then I will go change and brush my teeth and whatnot before leaving for school.
I forget what I dream I had...Oh, something like I was James bond and I was flying through some rooms, then I landed in one room and it was my Spanish class (but a LOT more students)...or something..That's something to be scared about. When you start dreaming of Spanish Class XP
Oh last night, I was at this one site that had mpegs and pics from Otakon. So I was watching clips of Hikaru Midorikawa's panel. It was nice remembering it all. The little faces he makes are so cute! I didn't realize how much the translator went "...Yeeeeeeeeah..." before he actually translated. Or maybe it was just the really weird answers. There was one where they were talking about the school he went to so he could become a voice actor, and he was like "So I went there and everyone had the intention of studying, but I kinda.....slacked off...." and everyone in the room laughed (and I bet some girls screamed too).
Okay, I'm going to go change now. Byee Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 06:43 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2001 Because I'm bored...
I shall write out my Winamp playlist.
So that's it. Favorites are labeled with an asterik (*). XD
My mom is picking up my pictures today. On that particular disposable camera, I had pictures from Otakon, Homecoming, and then just some random photos from around the house. Heheh.
I wonder what's going to happen now with the attacks on Afghanistan and all. The other night, they were showing some planes dropping boxes of food (taped from a few years ago I think), and my family was joking that it could land on someone's head (which it could) and they couldn't run from them if there were many being dropped at the same time. These guys in the plane were like, kicking these boxes out. It was so weird.
Ah, in Precalc, I got a 50/50 on my quiz, then in Spanish, I got a 65/65 on my preterite test. And in Latin, I got a 52/50 on the last test. I have a Summer Reading test in English next class. So I have to read the book or go to Sparknotes.com. Which I think I'll do on such short notice.
That's all. I'm going to keep listening to my playlist. I'm currently on #2. HIKARU MIDORIKAWA! Yesss! Let's hope he comes back to Otakon next year (now that I know who he is) XD XD XD XD Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:37 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2001 Ha.
So yesterday was Homecoming. Apparently, the team lost (which they've done for the past decade, pretty much) but the season was a lot better than I've ever seen. 3-2. Hehe.
I started getting ready about 5:00. Then when I was ready, my dad took me to the girl's house (we had to turn back once, cause I forgot my ticket XP). Then, when we got to the street, I forgot the house number! So I called my brother and told him to look it up in the school directory. I was actually the second one there. We were all wondering where everyone else was. Then two other girls arrived, and said that the two others (a girl and a guy) would be meeting us at the restaurant. So we stood outside in the cold and took pictures, which I'll have by tomorrow or Tuesday.
Not all of us could fit in one car, so we split up. We all arrived at the restaurant at the same time, took a few more pictures, and waited inside. Dinner was quite uneventful. We saw two other girls from school in the bathroom. After we ate (which wasn't much at all), the guy drove two girls, while one of the remaining girls called her mom to drive us. Three of us had to squish in the back (I was in the middle) and we sang and danced (however much you can dance in a car) to "Play That Funky Music". Then discussed the Zoolander previews and the VH1 Derek Zoolander's countdown ("There isn't any glass there, that's first class miming"). Then we arrived, went in and got in line, and went into the gym.
The SGA did a really good job decorating this year. There were these poles covered in balloons and Christmas lights behind them (the balloons, that is), then one big balloon at the top and a string of balloons connecting to another pole on the other side. It was very very nice. Then there was a projection screen at the front, and a camera hooked up to it so everyone could see...everyone else dancing. Sometimes it would play music videos to the music.
After a few minutes, I went and put my purse and camera in the office of this one staff member (she locked it during the dance so no one could get in and steal anything). Later, I put my shoes and shawl in the gym locker of this one girl. So I was set. We danced in a group up near the front.
And here's the doozy. ***** was theeeere! His "group" was near our "group". So I'd look over and they'd all be dancing (like dorks, I might add XD). I actually only saw ***** a few times (he must've been changing "group"s quite often), but I saw his friend, ****** almost every time I turned around.
Since I took my shoes off, quite a lot of people were stepping on my feet. Most of the time, they weren't wearing shoes so it didn't hurt, but at one point, this guy wearing shoes stepped on my toe, and kind of stood there for a second. I was like "ooooooooooOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW" and he got off and apologized. But it wasn't too bad. It only hurt for a second.
When it was over, I called my mom and stood in the extreme cold with my friend. My mom took quite a while to get there (considering we don't live that far from school) and then, got stuck in traffic.
When I got home, I took a nice hot shower (since I was very very very cold from standing outside so long), watched a little SNL (Seeing Jimmy Fallon in the "How do you say? Ah yes..Show" was greaat. "TOO SEXYYYY! TOOOOOOOOO SEXXXYYYYYYYY!!!!!"), then went to bed.
Woke up this morning at about noon (exhausted from last night), ate breakfast, watched a little TV (the attacks are starting....), got dressed, and went to the market with mom. First, we dropped off my disposable camera at CVS (I was outraged that they don't do one-hour photo on Sundays!) then went to the market (I was outraged that there is no more Bulk Food aisle. In the bulk food aisle, they'd have big things of candy and other foods that you could put in a bag yourself. But there is now Code Red Mountain Dew in cans, so we got some of that). Then stopped off at 7-11 and I got a slurpee. Then went home.
Okay, that's all. I shall be going now, and wait patiently until tomorrow when I shall get my pictures developed. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:26 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2001 :)
I just went out and got some new shoes. Made by Chinese Laundry. That shoe store was going out of business or moving or something so every pair of shoes was $20.00! Yesss!
So...5:45, I have to go to this girl's house so the group can take pictures...Then (somehow) we're getting to the restaurant, then (somehow again) we're getting to the dance. And I will probably get my mom to pick me up at the end. Unless I go to that sleepover.
Okay, I think I'm gonna go get ready. Wish me luck XD Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 04:25 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2001 Bleeah
I went to sleep at like, 9:45...And just woke back up an hour ago.
Tomorrow's Homecoming! This might be the first year the football team has won a Homecoming game in a long long time. I'm not sure if I'm going to the game, but I'm going to the dance. A few friends and I are going out to dinner, then the dance, then a small chance I might go to a sleepover at a friend's house. Very small chance though.
I'm watching "Runaway Bride" right now. Richard Gere is quite funny at times. Haa.
Jason and Alex look so damn cute together. XD XD XD And she said Jacques kept staring at her. Wooo!

I'm listening to that song that I wanted so bad last entry. Thank you to whoever I got it from (Honestly, who remembers who they downloaded from?). And to all the others who rejected me, (make 7) up yours!
I'm watching the first disc in Japanese on the computer right now. Well...Not at the moment. I'm listening to this song first. It's called "Ai To Iu Na No Hotakai Ni", which means "To the Battle Called Love" or "To the Holy War Called Love". Hikaru Midorikawa sings it, and I seem to have fallen in love with his voice. I wish I knew who he was when I went to his panel. On the other hand, I'm now trying to find the Miaka image song called "Still".
Oh, and while watching episode 27 (today) in which Tamahome's family is killed, I almost cried. ALMOST! This series takes pleasure in trying to make me cry. Tamahome's voice when he holds Chuei is soooo heartbreaking. And then he cries! XP
So eh...I should get going soon. Byee all Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:32 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2001 *sniff*
My brother and I finished watching the rest of the FY episodes. Wow. I've seen the whole series ^__^
I cried when Nuriko died. I don't think it was because Nuriko died (I like Nuriko, but he's not my favorite character. I started to appreciate him a lot more up to his death though). Miaka and Tasuki kept denying his death and everyone was crying and I was very overwhelmed. And I almost cried when Chichiri was yelling at everyone after Mitsukake's death. And almost when Chiriko died. Because Tasuki's crying...I wasn't exactly paying attention when Hotohori died. I was looking at a group of deer in our backyard (a total of 10 deer). So yeah.
Now that I've finished it, I have to see the two OAVs. Then there's nothing else to see! So I'm going to watch the Seiryuu box set again, then maybe again in Japanese...Until I'm ready to give it back.
There's a bunch of music videos with the Japanese voice actors singing songs. I love the Tamahome one. I'm trying to find the song on Morpheus but either no one has it, or if they do have it, they queue me, cancel me, or are being really slow (for example, the speed being 0.10 kb/s) XP XP XP
I told my cousin that we had finished it already, and he was like "WHAT????? ALREADY? THAT'S INSANE!" Then asked me what I thought of the end.
Tamahome looked so cool when he came to the real world. Keisuke's a good dresser. And Tetsuya!! Tetsuya made a lot more appearances. I was so happy. I love Tetsuya. His voice, the sunglasses, his clothes. Mmm..I'm jealous of Yui.
My mom was watching a bit, but since she hadn't seen the entire thing, she was really confused. Like when they were showing Nuriko's story, she was like "...She's a he??" And she was crying a bit when someone died. I forget who. Maybe it was Nuriko. But as I said before, I cried when Nuriko died. You know before when I said I cried when Wolfwood died in Trigun? Well I was kinda lying. I wasn't FULL ON crying, but here I was. Yes, there were tears. It was so sad. I'm going to watch it again XD
Umm..what else? The greatest part was in like, episode 30 or something. When Miaka asks Tasuki to burn one of her hairs for her, it seems like he's going to burn everything in sight. So he goes "REKKAA....SHIN...................en" and kinda taps the fan. Me and my brother like, fell off the couch after seeing that. And now we just look at each other and go "....en".
Eh. That's all. My mom will kick me if I don't go to bed soon, so I shall go! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:51 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2001 I am extremely happy
You see, my cousin is bringing the FY box set today! At about 6 PM (He has class during the day). That also means I have to give back the first box set...I took some more screencaps from the last episode yesterday. They are classic. Classic I tell you.
Yesterday I couldn't get into Pitas.com. I was angry.
I want everyone to download this song by Utada Hikaru/Hikaru Utada. It's called Final Distance. I really love it. It's very beautiful. KIM recommended it to me one night. She asked me if I knew who she was (or something along those lines) and I said yes and we talked about her for a second, and I asked if she thought I should DL it. And I did. I'm happy I did. It's a great song that I can't get out of my head.
School was okay. Around lunchtime, my stomach was killing me. I'm not going to eat Krispy Kreme donuts for a while now.
Those FY screencaps I took. One from the eyecatch of the early episodes (Tama crashing into Miaka); one of Miaka just being happy; Tamahome saying "cold hard cash"; Tamahome after Nuriko dragged him to meet Miaka; Tamahome's head as a lightbulb (This one is my favorite..I just can't hate it); Hotohori, Nuriko, and others listening to Tasuki trying to deny that he can't swim; A very evil looking Tamahome; Tamahome starting to jump; Tasuki with his tongue sticking out; and finally, Keisuke from the end of episode 26 (such a heartbreaker). I'll upload them after I finish up this entry.
Man, I don't know what I'm doing for homecoming...I have a dress and all...But I don't have anyone to go with XP
My mom's co-worker gave me any my brother the programs from last years Otakon. I'm mad I didn't go. They were showing two animes I really want to see! Karekano and To Heart.
I got a B on a Spanish test yesterday. I was two points away from an A! XP I got a 57 out of 65. But I made up for it on my Latin quiz. Or test. On that, I got a 52 out of 50 XD. I wonder what I got on my Physics test. That's something to worry about.
I heard they might cancel the pep rally this Friday. I'm mad. The pep rally is always fun. But they're going to have it outside on the field because the bleachers in the gym are broken or because there are too many damn freshmen. The gym is better. On the field, the entire school is on one set of bleachers, whereas in the gym, half would be on one side and the other half on the other.
OW GODDAMMIT. I just hit the bruise on my knee on the desk.
Oh, I have uploaded my site thing, but I want to make more pages before it's up completely. So far, I only have a links page. Hehe...
Three hours and 17 minutes before my cousin is supposed to come.
I almost have a new layout for this blog. Almost. Just hold your horses. :) Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:43 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2001 WOOHOO!
Ah! My cousin is bringing back my Trigun DVDs, and I'm returning his Fushigi Yűgi Suzaku box set. AND he's bringing his girlfriend's Fushigi Yűgi Seiryuu box set!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY
And about those track pants. Apparently, the track pants they were holding for us weren't the ones we wanted. They were grey with yellow stripes on the side. I was really confused at first. So instead, I got a pair of pants, and two tee shirts.
But here's the good part. We went to American Eagle, and they had a pair of yellow sweatpants! ONE PAIR. On sale. And they fit perfectly. I love them. So now we don't need to look for any pants anymore.
So, back to Fushigi Yűgi. I'm watching the Suzaku box set before it has to go. Taking screencaps.
We also stopped of at the Suncoast video store today, and I was in the Anime DVDs section. This dude came over, and asked me what my favorites are. I said Trigun and Fushigi Yűgi. He was like "Yeah, I thought you might say that". I told him that they didn't have any FY Box sets, and he directed me to the front of the store. I was like "REALLY?!?" and ran up there. I saw it, and I swear, when I touched the box, there was this sound in the store that was kinda like one you would hear in heaven or something..Like "taadaaaaaaaa!". But the price was $198 and my mom said no, but suggested I get my dad to order it off the internet. So maybe I will.
Alllrighty that's it. Byee! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:40 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2001 Yaaay
You know how last week, I complained about not getting those yellow track pants? Well my mom, brother, and I went on another Aéropostale raid and my mom asked this one worker if she could see if any of the other stores had them. So she did, and one came up, and now one of their other stores has one on hold for us! We have to pick it up tomorrow.
I also put up the few screencaps of Fushigi Yűgi I took. Click here to see them. I would link directly to them if I could, but Envy.nu doesn't allow that XP.
On Wednesday, I was standing in the hall with some of my friends during break. Two girls were talking about how they wanted to see the new Harry Potter movie (they recently got hooked on the books) and then one exclaimed "I'm in love with a book character" so this other girl turns to us and says "hey, I'm in love with a cartoon character". She proceeded to explain how she loved Squall from FFVIII! And I knew exactly what she was saying. Hehe. She said that she likes his scar, and I said I didn't. Oh well.
It is freakishly cold. Freakishly cold. Freakishly cold.
Sometimes I find it hard to believe how long my brothers are on AIM. Sometimes, the time reads like, 2 days and 14 hours. It's insane. We have this "server computer" in our basement, and the other day I asked my brother how long it had been on. He said "..About 2 months.." That computer got hit by the Code Red virus constantly, but it didn't affect it because it's on Linux, not Windows.
Oh, and about that tornado warning last entry. There were two actually. One hit UM College Park (Two students killed) and one hit Laurel, MD. My brother's class was in Laurel, but the power was out anyway so he turned back. It made the front page of the Washington Post. Hehe..yeah.
Man, when I listen to the FFVII soundtrack, I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. It's so beautiful. I was listening to the song from when you play Sephiroth, and normally I wouldn't listen to anything like it, but I while you're playing the game, the songs really grow on you.
My dad is watching Romeo Must Die, and it's kinda weird with Aaliyah not..here anymore.

A TORNADO WATCH! NOOOO
If you know me, you should DAMN WELL KNOW why this is a problem.
My brother just called on his cell phone. He was going to class, but he said there were just people standing around and there were trees down and whatnot. Me and my dad are watching the weather channel right now and there's this big red blob around where we are (if you would like a detailed map, click here). XP XP XP XP XP XP
As for something completely unrelated, I got a new mouse today. It's a Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical. Very nice. I actually had one that I got yesterday for my birthday, but one of the buttons was broken so we took it back today and got a new one.
I also got Super Dodgeball for the Gameboy Advanced (This game is the BEST), a program to learn Japanese, Recess: Schools Out on DVD, Spy Kids on DVD, and a few other random things that aren't of importance. I think I might exchange the two DVDs...They don't appeal to me too much.
Oh! The other day, I took some cute screencaps (mostly of SD Tamahome XD) from Fushigi Yuugi. I'll put them on my site later today.
Yeaah...It's really dark outside and I'm scared. So I'll wrap this up and go hide. Bye! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 06:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2001 Code Red!

Well I got the New York Times with the "Rooney Fashion Spread" and I'm not quite sure it was worth the entire thing. At first, I thought it wasn't even in there because I was looking in the wrong magazine (Two came with the NYT, one dedicated to the WTC bombings, and one dedicated to Mens fashion).
Anyways, when I finally found it, I was kinda disappointed.
On a happier note, TODAY'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is all. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 05:50 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2001 Filled to the brim
I just had dinner at the Macaroni Grill. It was so good. I had angel hair pasta. And then I ordered some cheesecake to take home. The waiter guy was really nice, and kept calling me "sweetheart". XD XD Meanwhile, my brothers were drawing arrows at each other. I started it by drawing one towards my brother that said "dork", then he extended it so it pointed back at me, and I did the same so it pointed at him, and so on and so on.
The wait was REALLY long because I think some school is having their homecoming. And a lot of people had their birthday. If it was your birthday, they made you stand up, twirl a napkin above your head, while a girl would sing Happy Birthday in Italian. I made sure my entire family didn't spread the word that we were there for my birthday.
Yesterday, my mom and I went out shopping at the mall for clothes for spirit week, the first week in October. Monday is Pajama day (which I didn't have to shop for). Tuesday is called something like America Appreciation day, and everyone wears red white and blue, so I bought a Ralph Lauren shirt with the American flag on it. Wednesday is Beach day (I think?). Thursday is Retro day (which I probably won't participate in...). And finally, Friday is Color day. Freshmen wear red, Sophomores blue, Juniors yellow/gold, and Seniors black (gold and black are school colors).
So about the mall. Me and mom stepped into Aéropostale, because I was looking for yellow track pants to wear for color day. We found a PERFECT pair. But there was one problem. I went in the fitting room to try it on, and I couldn't get my foot through the right pant leg. I spent a good 5 minutes just trying to get it through. I finally gave up, exited the fitting room, and told my mom about the dilemma. Turns out the lining of the pants were twisted in the middle. So my mom took it over to this worker, and we told her the problem. So she tried sticking her hand through, and was successful, but when we told her to turn it inside out and feel the twist, she was kinda suprised. So SHE took it to another worker, and told him to stick his hand through, and he couldn't. So they were quite boggled at the pair of pants, and the girl took it back. So..we didn't get any yellow track pants. XP
Today, we went to another mall that has an Aéropostale, but they had no yellow track pants. There was also an Anime store (I had gotten a business card from the guy we bought my Trigun DVDs from), but no one has the Seiryuu DVD box set! Only the Omni box set (one of the OAVs, I don't know if it's all or just one). So...I have to ask my cousin for it some day. His girlfriend told me to get it from him, so...I guess that's what I'll have to do.
I got some Japanese workbook yesterday at the bookstore. Whee it's fun. Here's an example:
Toire wa doko desu ka? (Toy-reh wah doh-koh dess kah)
It translates to "Where is the lavatory?"
The workbook is too nice to write in, so I'll probably make copies of the pages and write on those. XD
Okay, I've written too much. Buh-bye Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2001 Woohoo!
I taped the Digimon movie last night. Me and my brother watched it while it was taping, then ate dinner, then watched it again. It was very funny, and Davis is now growing on me (haha oy)
I regret missing the PP show in DC. The set sounded like it was good (I guess). Ah well. My birthday is this weekend (*ahem*) so...I'm just gonna lay back and have fun. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:25 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2001 Eh....
There's no one home. I have nothing to do (except study a little).
Everyone at school was showing off their school rings. A lot of people liked mine (XD) but I think the design is a bit weird. At first, I had picked a totally different design, but when we saw the actual thing, it was reeeeeeally small so the guy from the ring company and my mom pressured me into getting this one. It does have little diamonds next to the stone, so that's pretty :)
Digimon is on in 10 minutes! WOOOOOOOOOO Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 03:19 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2001 Wheee!
I just got my school ring. It's so pretty...
I talked to my cousin's girlfriend yesterday (the one who shares my love of FY) and she told me that the second box set is great. And she recommended another anime to me: Rurouni Kenshin. So I'll have to look into that.

Whoa that was weird...
We're watching Larry King Live on CNN where they were talking to this lady who had a baby but her husband was killed on one of the planes that crashed. So, why is this so weird? Their last name is Lee......AND THEY NAMED THE BABY ALLISON XD XD XD
I just wanted to share that with you all. :) Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:59 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2001 ^__^

I was just watching some more Fushigi Yűgi on my computer. Episodes 25 and 26. They were funny. I was going to pause it and take a screencapture at various points (one, for example, when Tasuki is hiding and Tamahome gets the idea that he can't swim. Tamahome's head turns into a lightbulb! IT'S SO DAMN CUTE. It's a lightbulb with hair) but I didn't. I might later. Miaka looked so cute in the first half of episode 26, with her little hair buns (I wish I had my long hair again so I could try that XP) and Tamahome looked cute too. Pretty eyes...*drool*
My mom was watching some British comedy on PBS or something, and I suggested she watch BBC America to see if they had anything on. I expected something like Monty Python to be on, but instead it was a HUGE tribute concert for the terrorist attacks. There were people inside, outside, everywhere. It was amazing. At one point, they were all singing one of the American songs (I forget which...it wasn't the national anthem...Grr) and they all linked hands. It was so cool. There were British flags and American flags being waved. I was in awe.
I am very cold. I think I shall go change now and put on my big-ass fleece jacket XD Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 11:53 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2001 Yumm
We had Maryland Blue Crabs tonight. They were very good. I only ate three though (I usually have 4 or 5) because I wasn't in a crab-eating mood.
I missed Digimon this morning. I almost woke up at like, 9 but I thought that was too early so I went back to sleep. And woke back up at 11, totally missing it anyways.
I went with my dad and bro to pick up the crabs. My dad got a little American flag from somewhere, so I put it in the rear window of my dad's truck for everyone behind us to see.
I watched some Fushigi Yűgi today in Japanese. The last disc of the box set. It was fun. My cousin (or it might've been his girlfriend..I don't know. My bro says that sometimes his girlfriend will use his screenname) said last night "I suppose you want to see the second box set", to which I replied "It would be nice". Then he started talking about the show "Iron Chef" on the Food Network (I was confused by that...).
I also played some Final Fantasy today. Not very much. I was fooling around in the Debug room, trying to figure out how I should get out. My playing was cut short by the trip to go get the crabs.
I'm listening to Rakuen (Paradise). It's such a relaxing song.
I "adopted" some little things for my site yesterday. A smoking Wolfwood, his confessional (YEEEEEEAHH!), Kuro-neko, and Vash. And then...me (Yuffie), and a cat which I named "Tama" (hehehh XD)

Whoooa this is eerie. I'm checking out this Digimon site, cause I'm bored. And from season three of the series (Digimon Tamers?), there's this boy named Jenrya Lee. AND HE'S JUST LIKE MY COUSIN (on my dad's side. My cousin who has all the FY stuff is on my mom's side). "His father is Chinese and his mother is Japanese" and "he has a younger sister..." He also looks a lot like him, but the character is 10, and my cousin is 12 or 13. But seriously, he's just like him.
...Err..In the American Digimon, his name is Henry Wong and he's 13. So that's better. The name is different (which puzzles me, as most of the characters from earlier seasons had a name very similar to their Japanese one), but the age is okay.
I'm going to watch Digimon tomorrow morning, just to see for myself XD
I want to see what the Digidestined from the first season look like now. I expect Tai's probably something like 19 by now. Geez. And what's with the main characters and these goggles? Tai had em, Davis had em, and now this Takato character has them. Hey, what's with Takato anyhow? He gets his Japanese name, but Henry doesn't? XP Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 01:04 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2001 US PRIIIIDE!
Man...my family has no American flag. My neighbors have one, they hung it in a window. AND they have a candle lit sitting on the steps. It's very beautiful.
I also heard on the day after the attack (I think) that an anonymous person in a city outside of Baltimore lined the sidewalk in a neighborhood with little American flags. They showed it on the news. It was great.
And what else? A lot of people at school were wearing red, white and blue (One guy even pinned a flag to his shirt). I don't have anything really red, so....I couldn't exactly participate. I was planning to wear a ribbon too, but I was pressed for time this morning XP. There's always tomorrow. I want to go out to the mall or something tomorrow and get stuff.
I wonder when primetime programming will return...News has been everywhere!
Today my brother sent me a link to someone's Yahoo photo album thing. It had all these pictures of people INSIDE the World Trade Center going down the steps, trying to get out. I could see the thumbnails, but when I clicked them, they didn't work...so..XP to that.
Today in school we had that 5 minutes of silence. It felt so long. We had just gotten back from lunch (they changed the schedule just so everyone in school would do it) and then, this guy got on the PA and read a poem he wrote in first period (wow). I couldn't hear what he said; I think he had braces and it was really hard to understand everything he said. Anyways, that's when we all stopped. I didn't know what to look at. I didn't want to look at the work we were working on, because I didn't want to think about Precalculus at that time. So I attempted to stare at my desk, or the floor. After the 5 minutes, they played the national anthem (I think...?) and I remember wondering if it was the school band or not.
What I really loved was when they showed people in Great Britain. This morning, I saw footage from yesterday when the band played the national anthem (ours, that is) , and then today at dinner, we saw a crowd on TV just singing the national anthem. I don't even KNOW the British national anthem. XP
In English class, these girls came in with these posters that another girl is planning to take to NYC. One was for the rescuers and firemen; the other for the victims. It felt better just doing something, even if it's as little as a few words.

There's not much I can say about yesterday. If you want to see what I said at ATWGOTI, please go there. But I do want to say, last night was the first time I've actually prayed in a long time. I'm not the most religious person in the world, but last night, I just stopped and prayed.
On a non-serious note, I love that story about the guy on the 82nd floor who "rode" one of the towers as it fell. I was just amazed. I heard it this morning at a neighbor's house (I get a ride to school from my neighbor). And he survived! He had injuries to his legs, but other than that, he was fine.
I had planned to write something about the situation here yesterday, but I didn't. I was a little too shocked still.

Today. Was. So. Boring.
My uncle is visiting this weekend, because he has to go to a meeting or something in Massachusetts, and he's stopping off here for a few days. He's not staying here though. He's staying at my grandma's house XD
You know, I'm thinking about getting a new blog XP XP. It's not that Pitas isn't good. It IS really good. It's just I want something like I had on my site, but everything I write is archived automatically. Pitas, you can't do that. You can only have a URL, a title, and entry...
I want to watch more Fushigi Yuugi..*sigh*...Oh! And I want to watch the Digimon movie! It was on yesterday and this morning. I missed the beginning yesterday (it started at 3 and I started watching at like, 4). Then it was on today at 4:30 AM, and then 7:30 AM when I was at school already. And...The American Hi-Fi/PP concert is on the 18th, which is the day I don't have schoooooool!!! I'm off for Rosh Hashanah. So I might go...

WAHAHAHHAHHH! I HAVE THE FY SUZAKU BOX SET XD XD XD XD XD! Well...I'm borrowing it...My cousin did bring his DVDs on Monday. He was going to bring his OAV DVDs too, but he didn't because it would ruin the Seiryuu box set (2nd box set, episodes 27-52), which his girlfriend has....
I've already finished watching all 26 episodes. When I got home Monday night (around...8:30, because I was complaining about my sore legs and just feeling weak in general), I immediately went to the DVD player and started watching. I watched 3 episodes..So I was done the first disc (7 episodes total, I had already seen the first 4). Tuesday morning, I watched an episode or two, since I had time...Then that afternoon (into nighttime), I watched the remaining 18 or so. Wooooooooo I'm happy XD
The end of episode 26 is sad though, and a cliffhanger too, dammit! I'm planning to watch the whole thing again in Japanese with subtitles...Sometimes, Japanese is better. You get the feeling of what the characters were supposed to sound like. My brothers keep yelling at me for watching it in Japanese though. XP
Ermm.....I fell asleep watching FY with my brother (He was watching the first four episodes)...He kept smacking me to wake up and do homework, but I slept anyways.
I had 23 messages in my inbox, a majority of them were porn XP. I deleted all but one, the PP mailing list email.
I have to finish homework now, so bye byee Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:40 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 *coughs*

I have a cold *blows nose*. So I went to this party for my second cousin. She's three. But there were all these little kids around going wacko, crying, screaming. And I was coughing, clearing my throat...Blech. We watched Forrest Gump though. That was fun. On the way there, I played Dr. Mario on my dad's Gameboy Advanced. I'm on level 16. XD
I played some FF7 and FF8 today too. I beat Sephiroth in FF7, but just for fun. FF8, I was screwing around in the debug room, and the game locked up...So I stopped playing.
Tomorrow, I'm going over my grandmother's for dinner. I told my mom to call my aunt, so she can ask if my cousin can bring his FY DVDs. XD XD XD XD. She has to call her anyways, to ask if they're going to come on the NY trip with us. I wonder if my cousin's girlfriend will be there too. She came last year for Thanksgiving and Christmas I think.
Cooollllddd.....
I have too many diaries and whatnot. I was thinking about getting a Livejournal, because it comes built in with a little mood animation thing.

I'm happy. I realized that Monday is Labor day, so I don't have schooooool! I thought it was only a three day weekend, but it turns out that it's a four day weekennnd!
This morning, I had an appointment with my dad (who also happens to be my dentist. XP So all those people who are afraid of them, try living with them...). He had to take impressions of my teeth to make me a new retainer (because mine is all plastic and it cracked sometime last year)...My teeth feel very clean now.
Umm..Yesterday, I wrote an entry about Beach Bash, but it didn't save, so I cursed and left. Anyways, it actually...sucked. It was okay at first. I was having fun trying to do some dance. Then everything after that sucked. The "new" DJ was REALLY bad. It was too crowded. I think all the freshman were trying to get upfront. So half of the gym wasn't being used, and when you squish together over 600 people in close body contact, it's like a oven in there. Seriously, there was like, a 20ş difference in the gym and in the hall. A friend of mine said "This is like walking into a wall of sweat", to which I replied "What are you talking about? This IS a wall of sweat". About halfway through, two friends left. So...it sucked. Homecoming will be better, I hope. When I got home, I took a much-needed cold cold shower, watched a little TV, and then went to bed at about 1. That's the earliest I've gone to bed on a weekend in like, 3 months. And I didn't wake up until noon.
Okay, I'm going out with my mom and bro. Byee Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 03:12 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2001 Quickie

I just saved a bunch of site buttons and banners to put on a link page for my site. They are all anime or video game related, though. Not many PP sites and stuff have those. Almost all of my favorite sites are anime ones...and official sites, like PPF.com and Rooney-band.com (which seems to have lost all its pictures). Any others (e.g.- Alex's OD, KIM's OD), I can access easily from somewhere.
I've been sneezing all day. Headaches. Coughing. Blech.
Obviously, Scribble.nu is down. I can't get into anyone's scribble. I haven't seen Pitas.com down. Ever. But I just started using it, so who knows?

I got home from school an hour ago. Let's go over my day, shall we?
Went to school. Took that Summer reading test. Suprisingly, it wasn't hard at all. I went to Sparknotes.com yesterday after school, and that place rocks. So the test took like, 15 minutes. Then we went over the Civil War. Blah blah blah. English. Blah blah blah. Precalc. Blah blah blah blah. Spanish. Blah blah blah blah.
So I come home (the door is ALWAYS locked, even if my bros are home) and older brother (not my older older brother) and I bother each other (I pinch him, slap him in the head, punch him in the stomach if I have the chance. I'm so nice). Thenn...I get on the computer...Read Alex's OD that I forgot to read the other day (Dammit, I want to molest guys too!)
I'm hungry.
Dude, ***** (not *****, a different *****) is taking Calc III. CALCULUS III. He took Precalc his freshman year (I have no idea how he managed that), Calc I/II last year. Geez. He's in my History class, and I had a thing for him freshman year. XD

I-forget-her-name: Adam? Adam, what's wrong? XD XD XD XD That's from the Power Rangers movie. I was watching it the other morning, just to hear the voice of Vash. XD XD XD He got totally jipped with the amount of lines.
I feel like a dork talking about Power Rangers. Okay, I should go. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:36 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2001 One down, 179 more to go
First day of school is officially over! Wooohoo!
I had US History first, which I might be able to tolerate. Except the fact that I have a summer reading test NEXT CLASS. I'm on page 80 of this like, 300 page book. Some people in class haven't even started the book. So everyone's like "I'm getting the Cliff Notes"
Then...English. It's...okay. Not great, not bad either.
Third period is Precalc GT. The teacher is so funny. But I'm a little slow at doing the problems. Not that I don't understand them, it just takes me a little longer to finish. XP
Fourth period (which I have everyday) is Spanish. I'm hoping to do better than I did last year. Woo did I suck last year. But I was in Honors last year, now I'm in regular. And everyone in class seems to be on the same level I am, so I'm good.
Then I got a ride home from my neighbor, but I guess the air conditioning is broken. It was very very hot in that car. She had to take one of her friends home first, then she dropped me off (she had to go back to school for field hockey I think).
I don't think B-days will be that hard (Our school goes on an A-day and B-day schedule). First I have Computer Science III AP/GT (It sounds hard, but I don't think the AP/GT means much). Then Latin (Someone last year told me that you can speak in English the entire time because it's too hard to speak in Latin all the time, and I've already had the teacher for Spanish freshman year, and she's so cool). Third period is Physics, which will probably be my hardest class.
Beach Bash is this Thursday! I think I'm going to go, but maybe not. I don't know how many of my friends are going. Tickets are $5. I have to get it tomorrow or Wednesday. XP
No one was here when I got home. Where is everyone?
I wonder how Alex is doing. How you doing up there in NY, Alex? Get online sometime soon so we can chat. KIM too!
Dude, my cousin is online, but he's away. So I can't ask him about borrowing FY! GRR!
Wait a second...My dad's computer monitor is missing? That's...very..odd. I didn't notice it at first because he has one of those flat screen ones.
I didn't get much sleep last night. About 3 hours. I fell asleep at 10. I had an odd dream that I was in the Princess Diaries (the movie..) and Robert was really short and had a high voice. And Mandy Moore was really tall. Then I woke up around 12:30. I couldn't get back to sleep until about 5:30 (Maybe it was 5:15 or 5:20). I only slept like, a half an hour. Then I got up and took a shower, got changed, ate breakfast, watched some TV (There was an Elton John music video where it was Robert Downey Jr. singing. I thought it was really him singing at first), and left!
Urgh...Okay, I'm gonna update Imood now. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:23 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2001 *Is going wacko*
Yeah. I'm insanely bored. Yessiree.
Ache ache ache.
My brother got a robotic dog for his birthday. I'm jealous. I asked him if I could play with it, and he got all bitchy. XP Then I played with it. And it wouldn't stop barking. I was making it play songs and dance, and make rude noises. It's funny. But there's no volume control or anything. That's what I hate about it.
I'm listening to this song from Trigun, called "Sandy Planet". The part they use it in that sticks out the most in my mind is in episode 21 (I think...) when Vash sees all his friends on the Seeds ship killed. Then he's like "I...remember...you. I remember all of you..." and he's crying. It's so sad *sniffle*. I've watched episode 23 so many times now, it doesn't affect me. I just like seeing Wolfwood as a child. He's so cute! XD
On the last volume, there's a section of Vash and Knives drawings. There's only one picture of Knives that I find attractive. He actually looks regular, and not like he's on crack.
I...need...Fushigi....Yuugi...episodes. I'm going to ask my cousin this weekend if I can borrow his FY box set soon. I'll tell him "I downloaded the first four episodes and now I need to see what else happens!" or something. I hate to keep asking him. But he didn't give me a real answer last time. He did tell me that his girlfriend bought (actually ordered) the second FY box set. But who knows when I'll get in touch with her? Ha. I'm starting to use Imood again. Before, you couldn't change the face on the indicator. So if you said you were sad, the face would be cheery despite what you just said. Everyone in the Rooney Yahoo club is saying Robert's coming to NY for school...Maybe he is going to NYU? Maybe he's going to another school? I'm really not sure.
I'm making a trip to NYC on the 22nd, just to go shopping. So maybe I can persuade my mom to take me outside of Chinatown (where we're gonna go shopping). My aunt said she might come and my cousin said that maybe she could take us to Times Square while everyone else does their Chinatown shopping. Actually, I think I might pick meself up some Fushigi Yuugi....XD XD XD If they have them. Which I kinda doubt. You have no idea how bored I was when we went to NYC last time. If I even SAW the word DVD, I'd rush into the store and look for Trigun. But I didn't find any. So I had my messenger bag of stuff (books, cd player, etc) that I had brought for the busride, and I was hauling it all over.
So..uh...I find it funny that an Olsen Twin was at the Rooney show. I'm wondering if she actually is a fan of the band, or she was dragged there somehow.
Umm..Yeeah...There was also something about a Rooney show in NY? Alex has an extra ticket to the PP/Ben Folds Five show in September, and I would take it, but it's on a school night. If I could, I would, but I doubt I could. So if there IS a Rooney show in NY soon, and it's on a Friday or Saturday, I'm there.
Whoa-ho-ho! Wait. "Robert leaves for college in New York tonight" (posted 8/21/01). Robert. East coast? XD XD XD
OH OH OH. Today, after I went to my aunt and uncle's house and the market, my mom and I stopped off at my grandmother's house today to bring in her mail and such, and as we were driving through the neighborhood, we saw these two kids riding their bikes in the middle of the road. So all of a sudden, they moved to the side (unlike some other kids that we saw earlier who were just walking and doing nothing whatsoever. What was going through my mind: "punks....") and as we passed them. I realized the one in front was older. And from the side, it looked like *****. *squeals* Oh how I have missed you so. I'm almost sure he rides his bike quite often...though he has a car (or so I have seen). Let's hope he's in a class of mine. Hope with me now.

For example, the (dub) voice actors for Miaka, Yui, Hotohori, Nuriko, Amiboshi/Suboshi (twins!), and other smaller roles all did voices for Trigun or Brave Fencer Musashi (the only ones that I know that did all three are voices for Maureen/Meryl, Milly/Bubbles, Kaite/Mushashi, Hotohori/Ed, Jon, Sandie?/Princess Fillet, Ben, and some guy who just did background voice, no actual characters...Whew, that took a while. Plus, the Vash voice actor did a voice for a movie called "Akira", which my brother bought at Otakon, and one of the other characters in the movie, Tetsuo, was the guy who did the voice of Young Knives in Trigun, and also Tai in Digimon, I think. And the guy who did Wolfwood did some characters in Digimon too)
I want to explain the FY episodes so badly, but I'm afraid no one will read. And if no one reads, there's no point. And it's late too. Very late.
I'll do it anyway.
Okayy..FIRST EPISODE! Miaka falls asleep in class (dreaming about a lot of food), and then Yui asks her to come to the National Library with her. She goes, and finds a vending machine (full of food). She drops her coin, and when she looks up, she sees this big bird. A phoenix. So she follows it up to a room, and soon Yui comes too. Some book, called "The Book of the Universe of the Four Gods" falls off the shelf. It's all in Chinese, so Miaka can't read it, but Yui can. In the book, it says that when they turn the page, the story will become real. So they turn the page and get transported into the book. They get attacked (sort of) by human slave traders, which means they take girls and sell them. Soon, they get saved by a guy with a symbol on his forehead. Afterwards, he asks Miaka and Yui for money, but Yui says they don't have any. He starts to walk away, but Yui goes after him to try to find out where they are while Miaka looks for some money. While chasing him, Yui gets transported back to the real world, leaving Miaka all alone. When Yui gets back, she reads the book and finds that it describes the exact things that she and Miaka just did. In the book world, Miaka has gotten a ride to the city on the back of the wagon, looking for Yui and the mysterious guy, who she thinks kidnapped Yui. She spots him and tries to get to him, but can't. Some guy says that he can show her around, because he's a friend of the guy she's looking for. She agrees, but it turns out he's just turning her over to more slave traders. She kicks their asses (with some wrestling moves she saw on Pay-Per-View, but then they still attack her. The guy with the symbol on his head saves her again.
SECOND EPISODE! She asks him if he knows where Yui is, but he says he doesn't and she doesn't believe him. She chases him and makes a huge scene, telling everyone that he's a slave trader. He picks her up and runs away, and ends up dropping her. Soon, a parade comes, and the guy says it's the Emperor of Konan (the country they're in). He says he wants one of the ornaments off of the Emperor's crown, so Miaka goes up to ask the Emperor for one. The guards begin to attack, but the guy saves her once again. He tells her his name (TAMAHOMEEE) and she says she doesn't know how to repay him. So he goes "Don't worry. I know..." and kisses her on the forehead (everything turns all pink and....it's very cute). Then, Miaka starts to see Yui back in the real world, but it seems she's kind of caught between the two, because Yui doesn't hear her or anything at all. When she gets transported, they get engulfed in a red light, so all the guards think she's a witch. When she wakes up, she's in jail with Tamahome and suddenly, her stomach grumbles. She has no food, so she takes out a stick of gum and puts it in her mouth. The guard sees and tells her to show him what she just put in her mouth, so she blows a bubble. The guard thinks she's a monster, and when the bubble pops, it covers her face, so the guard thinks she's a ghost. The guard runs away and the keys go flying, so Tamahome catches them (when he sees Miaka, he freaks out too). They escape and run into a room, where Tamahome begins to explain the four gods. In the middle of his explanation, she smells food and begins to eat. When she's done, she walks outside and remembers that she left Tamahome and she doesn't know where she is. A very handsome man tells her where the gate is, but he asks if she was the one they arrested. She tries to deny it, but the man tells her he won't tell anyone. Miaka tells him her story (how she's from a different world). He tells her that he is Hotohori. Meanwhile, Tamahome is looking for Miaka, but gets caught by some guards. They come near where Miaka and Hotohori were, but Miaka tells them to let him go. Hotohori speaks up, telling the guards not to hurt them, and the guards say that he is the emperor (along with a cute part where Miaka starts feeling Hotohori's chest, since she though he was a girl). Later, Hotohori asks Miaka to become the Priestess of Suzaku, who will get three wishes when she summons the god, Suzaku. She accepts, so now Miaka and Tamahome can stay in the palace.
THIRD EPISODE! Miaka is sleeping, having a dream that her brother (KEEEEISUKEE) is there. He keeps saying "But I'm not your brother", and when she wakes up, it turns out that she's holding Tamahome's hand, not Keisuke's. Tamahome says that Hotohori is worried about her, and so is he. It cuts to a little scene in Hotohori's room, where he's looking at himself in the mirror, and says "*sigh* I'm so beautiful, it's scary...". It cuts back to Miaka's room, and Miaka is complaining. Tamahome hugs her, and tells her she can call him her brother if she wants to. He says that if she wants to get back to her world, she should wish herself back to her own world. She runs to Hotohori to ask him what she has to do to summon Suzaku. He explains that she must find the seven warriors (seishi) and that he and Tamahome are two of them, since Hotohori has a symbol on his neck. The emperor says to gather all the warriors in Konan so they can find the remaining five seishi. Tamahome begins to test all the warriors gathered, but doesn't get anywhere. Miaka steps up and starts to provoke all of the warriors. They all chase her and some guy ends up throwing a mallet at a gazebo-ish building that Miaka is standing in, making it crumble. Tamahome rushes to her, and ends up holding the rubble up so it doens't fall on Miaka. Meanwhile, in the real world, Yui realizes that what happens to Miaka happens to her too, since she sees blood on her skirt where some rubble fell on Miaka's leg. It switches back to the book world, where Tamahome vows to protect Miaka. Hotohori tries to remove some of the stones, but a woman steps up and says she can help. She lifts up the huge pieces of rubble with no problem. Hotohori questions the woman, and suddenly notcies she has a symbol on her collarbone. The woman says her name is Nuriko. Miaka introduces herself, but the Nuriko approaches Tamahome and kisses him on the lips (This will turn out to be quite odd, later...). Later, Miaka asks Nuriko if she can be her personal maid, so that Miaka can get along with Nuriko better, all while Nuriko has Tamahome tied up. Nuriko acts like a complete beeotch to Miaka (when Miaka is cleaning the floors, Nuriko dumps dirt on them when Miaka's back is turned). Later that day, Miaka is sitting outside and Tamahome, who has escaped from Nuriko, comes to talk with her. Miaka falls, hurting her leg, so Tamahome helps her.
EPISODE FOUR! Tamahome realizes that Miaka is jealous of Nuriko because she has Tamahome (while Tamahome is laughing like a madman). Miaka comes to Nuriko, and Nuriko says that she lost one of her earrings in a pond, so Miaka volunteers to look for it. Meanwhile, Hotohori is talking with his advisors (he looks so cute here...) and Miaka comes to visit him. They have a little chat, and then Miaka goes to the pond to look for the earring. Miaka accidentally falls in (and, in the real world, Yui is totally drenched in water). She calls Tamahome, and Tamahome senses it. Nuriko is in her room, laughing because it turns out she just tricked Miaka. Tamahome hears all this, and tries to go rescue her but Nuriko holds him back and explains her whole plan (She's getting revenge on Miaka, because Hotohori likes Miaka and not her. So she's going after Tamahome to get back at Miaka). Suddenly, Miaka comes (she got out of the pond by herself), and gives Nuriko a pretty stone she found since she couldn't locate the earring. Afterwards, Tamahome says "What am I? Chopped spring roll or something?"
Miaka goes to visit Hotohori, to give him hints about Nuriko. He asks if Miaka has someone she loves (she thinks about Tamahome) and Hotohori says he's been waiting for only one girl. He lays Miaka down on the bed (just to talk to her) and says that he was fascinated by the story of the priestess from another world, so he says that he loves Miaka. He begins to kiss her (and she thinks about Tamahome again). He suddenly stops, gets up, slashes a wall, and finds Nuriko and Tamahome eavesdropping. Hotohori says that he meant everything he said to Miaka, and that he wants to marry her after they summon Suzaku. Everyone is shocked. In the morning, she bumps into Tamahome, who acts very cold to her. She follows him and Nuriko into the city (in a bad disguise) where Tamahome tries to sell the gum that Miaka gave him after they escaped from jail. They don't believe it's from the Priestess of Suzaku, so Miaka reveals herself and everyone swarms them. Tamahome manages to escape the crowd with Miaka. They find an alley, where they are attacked by more slave traders. This time, Tamahome actually begins to bargain with them. They beat all the guys up anyways. Miaka gets mad at Tamahome because he keeps risking his life for her. He says "It doesn't matter, does it?" and Miaka replies "To me it does, it does matter because I, I love you Tamahome!". Tamahome says he doesn't feel the same way and he's just protecting her because she's the priestess. She blacks out and collapses, while Tamahome tries to wake her up.
Argh...that's all I've seen. XP

Did I tell you I saw a Silent Bob cosplayer in the dealers room at Otakon? I just thought of that. It was on Sunday, I think. I'm not sure.
Yesterday, my brother was flipping through the channels, and one of them, I thought I saw "Mysterious Play" (aka FUSHIGI YUUGI!), but it turned out to be Macross Plus.
God dammit, I got a bug bite on my foot. *itch itch itch itch itch* The day before yesterday when I was at my grandmothers house is when I got it.
I'm in love with my new Keisuke and Tetsuya wallpaper. If Keisuke didn't have such great hair, and pretty eyes, I would have just had Tetsuya with his big hair and sunglasses. XD
*wants....to......watch...Fush..igi....Yu...ugi..badly*
Yesterday, I asked my cousin if I could borrow the Fushigi Yuugi DVD thing he bought at Otakon. I think he said he wasn't finished with it yet, though. And I don't know when I'm going to see him next. Now that I think about it, I might not see him until...November? Arrghh that's too looong. Maybe we can get him to drive over here sometime.
That's all folks. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 01:01 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2001 I'm so cruel
Hahha, I was just checking out some Hikaru Midorikawa sites and clubs. I wanted to join one of the clubs, and say "At his panel, I got second row. I was within 10 feet of him. AND YOU WEREN'T!!!! HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHHAHAH"
But no. That would be mean. And I wouldn't do anything in the club anyways. I haven't even heard any of his voice acting. And I don't even know what he says, for I am not Japanese.
I was thinking of using an image of Miaka and Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi for a new layout, and put the words "Wo Ai Ni", which means "I Love You" in Chinese...I think...I'm not completely sure.

Yaaaay FUSHIGI YUUGI!
Last night, I went searching for Fushigi Yuugi episodes for downloads, so now I have the first four. They're all in .rm (realmedia) format, so the quality pretty much...sucks. And also, sometimes, the video will make realplayer lock up, and I'll have to start all over again. But what counts is that I got a taste of what Fushigi Yuugi is like, and...IT'S SO GREAAAAT.
Tamahome is THE greatest. Ever. After a building kinda falls on top of him and Miaka, he tries to hold the rubble up to protect Miaka. Then this court princess named Nuriko picks up all the rubble and Nuriko ends up taking Tamahome captive because Nuriko wants the Emperor, but the Emperor likes Miaka, so Nuriko goes after Tamahome for revenge. So for a while, she ties him up and Tamahome has to escape all the time. It's truly very cute. But then, after the Emperor confesses his love for Miaka, Tamahome feels unwanted and even ignores Miaka when she confesses her love for him ("It does matter because I, I love you Tamahome!") . I wanted to smack him at that point... But other than that, he's so cute.
The Emperor, Hotohori, is also really cute. He almost kisses Miaka, but Miaka imagines he is Tamahome.

Aww this song from Trigun really kills me. I forget when exactly they play it. The guitar makes it really sad. I almost cried the first time I heard it. They don't play it when Wolfwood (It's a spoiler XP) dies, but I think it could have been. The one that plays when _______ dies is really sad too. I kinda feel like I should have looked for the two Trigun soundtracks at Otakon. But there's a possibility I can find them when I go to NYC next month (the day before my birthday). Or I can just find all the songs and burn em to a CD, like I did with the FFVIII OST (okay, so I didn't find them, but I did burn them to a CD)
I currently have 6 Trigun MP3s, and one that I'm downloading right now. My two favorites are "Rakuen (Paradise)" and "Scattered Rain". "Scattered Rain" is the one that kills me all the time (see above paragraph). "Rakuen (Paradise)" is the one that's played when ** dies (Haha I'm finding a new way to censor names. And the character's name is not only two letters long, I just didn't want to give anything away and I'm almost sure no one in Trigun has a two letter name)
Distracted again. I'm trying to find somewhere else to download songs. Morpheus sucks!
I reeeeeeally want to watch Fushigi Yuugi right now. I read a rough synopsis and it seems really cool. And Tamahome sounds really sweet and cute. Plus, I want to listen to it in Japanese and say "Hey I was within 10 feet of that man!" when Tamahome talks. Since Hikaru Midorikawa does Tamahome's voice. Hehehe Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:39 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2001 Hellooooooooooooo!
I'm just speechless...
Otakon is over, and I KNOW you're all getting sick of hearing Otakon this and Otakon that, but it was just too great of a thing for me to stop talking about. I am SOO going back next year. I'm going to preregister. And I'm going to plan out all the events carefully. For example, I'm not sure if I'm going to do cel painting again. It was fun, because the instructor was making a lot of jokes about Gundam Wing ("Backstreet Gundam", "Gundam Nsync", "New Gundam on the Block"...Just so you know, all the guys on Gundam Wing are...gay. Please don't hit me! He also made fun of the music, because it's so dance-poppy), but then again, it wasn't fun, because I was incredibly frustrated by mixing the paint colors, and not getting the right color. When I first got the cel, I sat there for a good 5 minutes because I was trying to remember what colors went where, and since I'm such a big perfectionist, I didn't want to put the wrong color in the wrong place. I knew I should've run out of that room once the instuctor guy said that he was going to teach the workshop differently than he has before. This time he was going to do it "hardcore". I had to pay three bucks for that stupid cel! It's just a copy! Okay, enough about the cel painting.
I can't stop blabbering about the convention! XP
I remembered the name of the anime that my cousin wanted to see. It was Crest of the Stars. It was good, but we only saw four episodes because we wanted to leave after that. All the anime movies/series that they were showing, they only showed with subtitles. I don't think they ever played the dub. Crest of the Stars was funny at parts. In the third episode I think, this girl named Lafiel told the main character, Jinto, that she used to wonder if she was a daughter of love, because her race, the Abh (they're humans, but they enhanced their DNA, so now they have blue hair and have elf-like ears and they live to be 200-250. I think) sometimes reproduce artificially. As in, they don't do it "the normal way" all the time. So when she was little, she asked her father about her mother or something, and her father held up their cat. So it shows her as a child, staring into the mirror, and she says that she wondered if she would start looking like a cat when she got older, and grew cat claws and fur and stuff. Meanwhile, Jinto is laughing his ass off. There was also one part where Jinto is talking to a friend of his, and he's like "I only want to be with you", but he didn't mean it in a love kind of way, he meant that he didn't want to leave (because he was going to a different school far away). And if you are interested in anime at all, you'll know that quite a few fans are interested in "yaoi", or male-male relationships. After he said that, there were a lot of gasps and stuff. It was hilarious. What else was funny? Um..Jinto was looking at the code of conduct (I think), which he has to memorize, on his computer, and he says something like "There's a 150 (estimated?) rules just on lunch manners!!"
Ahh, sorry. I've become distracted. I'm reading something about the anime Fushigi Yuugi (My cousin's girlfriend cosplayed/dressed up as Miaka from FY on Saturday at Otakon. I heard my cousin was supposed to dress up as Tamahome, who apparently is Miaka's significant other. That would've been cute, but I don't believe he did dress up at all, he just wore a chibi Tamahome pin on the pocket of his tee shirt). I told my cousin that if he let me (or me and my brother) borrow the Fushigi Yuugi DVDs that he bought on Saturday (He bought them for his girlfriend, but she already has that one I think, so I guess now it's his), then he could borrow my/our Trigun DVDs (I believe he expressed interest in seeing them. I don't think he had ever heard of Trigun before the first day of Otakon, because he told us that on the first day, he saw a bunch of Wolfwood cosplayers and had no idea what characters they were, so he asked someone)
Speaking of Trigun, my brother and I watched the remaining DVDs. So now I have seen the entire Trigun series!
*coughcough*HUGE spoilers up ahead, for any Trigun fans that haven't come to the ending episodes!
Anyways, I nearly cried when...Wolfwood died. It was so sad. Meryl and Milly were crying their eyes out, Milly especially. I knew it was coming, but still, I cried. Soon after, Vash leaves town to be alone, but after buying a "$$30 worth of donuts", he sits down on a bench and starts to eat but eventually drops the entire bag and breaks down crying. I mean, this is Vash, and he has a huge bag of donuts. But he just drops them all. Such a shame. Those were probably good donuts. But that made me cry too. When else did I cry? After Vash is forced to kill Legato, Meryl and Milly take him to town so he can heal his wounds (I think he was shot at a lot). Meryl gives him some soup and Vash tells her that he remembers everything, but Meryl leaves because, I guess, she doesn't want him to tell her anything. She starts to cry silently outside the door, and Vash begins screaming and crying inside the room. It was hell XP
Enough about Trigun? Anyways, me and my brother returned to Otakon today for about an hour. I got Dance Dance Revolution for PSX along with a dance mat, so I played that when I got home. It's really fun, but you can never tell where the arrows are without taking your eyes off the screen. It's also really slippery.
Alright, now I really want to see this Fushigi Yuugi. NOW NOW NOW...Grr. I also want to see Cowboy Bebop, but I think I can borrow that from my mom's co-worker (see earlier entries)
I think that's all for now... Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 12:07 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2001 I'm just too happy
Did I tell you I came back? Well...I did. Yesterday.
TODAY, I went to Otakon 2001! YAYYY! It was too much fun. When we first got there (about 9:30 AM), we got registered and stuff (I got a Cowboy Bebop badge. It was one of the only ones I recognized XP). Then, we went to this one room where a guest (Hikaru Midorikawa, a Japanese voice actor. Here's a link to some pictures and stuff. I was on the right side) was going to be, but then they changed it to a bigger room. Since we got there a little late, we were standing right outside the door when we heard the announcement and inched our way towards the new room. So I was in the second row (I could've gotten trampled. Some crazy girl pushed me). Hehehhehe.....Mr. Midorikawa (I don't know what else to call him...) said this was his first time in the US, and only his second time out of Japan. He had a translator. First, the translator asked a bunch of questions (he would say them in English in the microphone, then ask them privately in Japanese, then Mr Midorikawa would give his answer, and the guy would translate it), mostly about how Mr. Midorikawa got into the business. The best part was when he kept making this sound from Gundam..It's hard to explain. He did it after the translator asked him if he ever practiced on lines and stuff before getting into the business, and Mr. Midorikawa said that he did lines from Gundam, along with the sound. Then, they started letting the audience ask questions. There were a few really cute ones. One girl asked if he was willing to have an affair or something (he's married), but Mr. Midorikawa said that even though the characters he voices for are tough, his wife is a lot tougher than he is. Then some people started asking for sound bytes (they tell him what line they want him to do, and he does it). So there was one girl who said "Can you threaten to kill us in Japanese?", so he did it. And then he did a few deep ones (Since he does the voice of Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi, they asked him to do something like "I love you Miaka" I think). The very last one he did was yell "MIAKA!!" and then all the girls screamed. It was insane. The translator made a lot of funny comments during the interview, too. By now, it was almost noon, so we went across the street to the Burger King and ate lunch. When we got back, my cousin's girlfriend and her sister and cousins went to go get Mr. Midorikawa's autograph, and the line was LONG (I have a picture of it. Two actually. The line was so long it wouldn't fit into one). So while they were in line, my brother, my cousins and I went to the dealers room. We walked around, and a lot of places had all the Trigun DVDs. So we stopped at this one big vendor, and my brother bought me the remaining five volumes, since I didn't have enough money. So now I owe him $131. After a while, we went back upstairs to where the autograph line was to wait for my cousin's girlfriend and her family. My cousin bought her the Fushigi Yuugi DVD series so she could get Mr. Midorikawa to autograph it, but the staff wouldn't let him in to give it to her because it would violate something...the fire hazard code or something. I don't really remember. After they came back, we didn't have much else to do, so we went into this workshop where you paint cels. The instructor guy was about a half an hour late because he got lost in the building. So we painted (I did Sakura from Card Captors Sakura. It's very cute. And very pink), but I didn't finish. That took about four hours (can you believe it?). It was around 7:00, I'd say now, and we were going to go eat dinner, but it was pouring outside so we couldn't go back to the Burger King or the other restaurant across the street. Instead, we bought some food (they had a little place that sold pizza slices and hot dogs and sodas and such), sat on the floor, and ate. My cousin said he wanted to go catch a showing of some anime series, so we all went to watch it. Afterwards, we stopped in the video gaming room and I was planning to try some DDR, but the people that were playing already were REALLY good, and I knew I'd look like the biggest idiot if I tried. So tomorrow (er..today), my brother and I are going back to the dealers room to buy a DDR dancing mat thing, and then we'll get the game. So I can practice at home and not make a complete fool of myself. I wish I could've stayed after going to the video gaming room to visit the rave that was going on downstairs, but we were all leaving. I got a picture of it anyways XD
I also saw a lot of cosplayers. So let's see the characters I recognized. From FFVII, I saw Cloud, Aeris, Tifa, Yuffie, Reno, Vincent, Cid, and Sephiroth (I think that's all). From FFVIII, I saw Squall, Quistis, Seifer, Zell, Edea, Irvine, and Ward. Then from Trigun, I saw Vash, Wolfwood, Milly, Meryl, Knives, and Legato. There were a LOT of Vashes though.
Hmm...I think that's all. Whew. I should get going, I probably have to get up kinda early..Egh.
Oh, another little note, during the interview with Mr. Midorikawa, he asked his assistant (I'm guessing) for his jacket and put it on and zipped it all the way up. He looked like he was freezing! About 10 or 15 minutes after he did that, I got really cold too and did the same thing with my sweatshirt. Heeheeh..Heheh..Hhehehe.. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 01:08 a.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2001 I'm laughing to myself
I'm watching TRL, and that "Supergirl" video was at #9 today. So I saw Robert getting pushed around by Erik von Detten. Then they went to commercial, and it was for Pete Yorn's new album or something. So that made me laugh too. Plus the fact that he's going to be performing here in Baltimore this Saturday, but I'll be on my way to the beach. Which I've repeated over and over...
Is that all? That's all.. Hehe.. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 04:12 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2001 *hums Mandy Moore Song*
I want to see Mandy's new video. I watched a few clips, a few blurry ones. I am madly in love with this song.
Random note: I currently have a blueberry pop tart in my mouth.
Random note: I now am chewing a bite of the blueberry pop tart that was in my mouth.
This weekend I go to the beach for a week. I'm just gonna hang out, read, get a tan (and coughcoughplaysomevideogamescoughcough). All that good stuff. Then a few more weeks to kick back and get the most out of my summer before it's over. I can't believe it's already August. It seems like I just got out of school last week. I still remember taking finals.
Ahaha now I'm thinking about..*****. XD After my final..final, we moved all the desks and chairs to the sides of the room, so everyone was standing in this one group while the teacher asked us a few questions about our opinions on the class. And ***** was standing like, 2 feet away. *swoons* Hahhahah I just swooned. When the bell rang, I bolted out of that room like there was no tomorrow.
Random note: I have finished my blueberry pop tart.
So...Hmm. I'm gonna bring the PSX down to the beach. Games to bring...Hmm. FFVII, FFVIII, maybe Brave Fencer Musashi. HEY! I think the voice of Musashi did the voice of Kaite in Trigun! I'll have to check later. When I was watching the episodes of Trigun with Kaite (kinda pronounced "kite"..I dunno, they all say it different. His father pronounced it like "kite", but Vash pronounced it like "kate". Sort of...), I remember telling my brother that I had definitely heard his voice somewhere, but I couldn't put my finger on it. So we decided it was probably from Pokémon (He said it was Ash, I said it was Richie). Now that I think about it, I think they are the same. Heheh, now I have to go play it to find out.

Brother #2: Banana? Enough dinner table conversations. As for the Garry Marshall comment from my mom, she said that they were showing some filming from the Princess Diaries or something, so that's why she asked me. Then I asked if she'd want to go see it, since it comes out this Friday, and she said sure. But then I told her that Rush Hour 2 also comes out that day, so we might go see that.
I've seen two movies in the theaters so far this year. First, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon in March..I think. And then Shrek last month. I think. I expect another visit or two this month :)
Beach this Saturday! Yayyyyy the beeeeeeeeach. I'm quite excited, as you can see.
Oh! I also got my new school schedule today. 1A is US History Honors. 2A is English 11. 3A is Precalculus. 4AB is Spanish 4 (OH NO. PLEASE NO. I cannot stand Spanish, especially if it's every single day! NOO). 1B is Computer Science III AP/GT (that's the same period I had Computer Science last year. Hmph). 2B is Latin 1. And 3B is Physics. I think I might ask to get a schedule change. I doubt I'll be able to take Spanish every day.
There goes happy thoughts for the month of August... Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 07:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2001 *cough*
I had a coughing spasm a few minutes ago. I had no idea why in the world I was coughing. But I'm okay now. XD
Hold on, I have to read my last entry to see what I should write now...
OH! Okay, I see. So, the shopping thing. Me and mom and my bros went to the mall today. My mom and I went bathing-suit-hunting while my brothers...I don't know what they did. I think they hung out around Suncoast Video maybe? I wanted to get another Trigun DVD but it was too late. XP But I did get a bathing suit! First we went to..Sears. But they had none. Then we went to...Hechts. And they had some, but the racks were all mixed up so it took me a while to find two that matched. I finally got one, it's red with blue flowers (..I'm doing my best to explain! It's hard...). The top has straps that you can take off, so I was playing around with those and criss-crossing them and whatnot. And I picked the bottoms that are like shorts. I don't know exactly what they're called, so I'll call them that. So mission complete! I have a new bathing suit. I'm not sure if I'll even go out in the ocean...Why? Well something about a KID GETTING HIS ARM BITTEN OFF BY A SHARK.
So...what will the purpose of this bathing suit be? I don't know. My cousins will be down at the beach the same time me and my parents will be, and the place they're staying at has a pool, so I might go there instead. I'll force my cousins to go to the pool. Or I can bring my mini Snoopy fishing rod and fish! Oooh that'll be fun. Actually...my cousin gave hers to me, so now I have two. And that's not very fun.
I haven't come on AIM in like, 2 weeks and I apologize for that. AIM is just pissing me off...and it's nice not hearing those damn doors shut every 3 seconds (coughcoughcoughRICKcoughcough).
When I'm not shopping for bathing suits, I'm wasting my time playing FF7. I was playing it today. I have two saved games, and I'm kinda switching between them. I have one on the third disc (right before the battle with Sephiroth, but I'm just going around on the world map and leveling up my materia). The other one is at the beginning of the game, during the Wall Market thing. This used to be my favorite part of the game (mostly because you get to dress Cloud in drag XD), but now it's not so fun. I printed out this faq for dating Yuffie at the Gold Saucer, so that means I have to be a complete bastard to Aeris and Tifa. The Yuffie date scene is pretty cute actually. I've seen it using my gameshark, but I want to have it in my game.
(Here I go off, babbling. Do not read this paragraph because you will fall asleep reading it) See, Yuffie asks Cloud to come on a "date" with her. So first they go to Event Square and they do the little act thing (I love how the Evil Dragon King is abbreviated to EDK for some reason). Then they go on the gondola, and Yuffie gets up off of her side and kisses Cloud on the cheek (That's incredibly cute. There's even a little smooch sound. I think) but Cloud is a cocky bastard so he says nothing and gets smacked for it. XD Then they catch Cait Sith, blah blah blah.
I want to play some right now, but I believe it may be quite late for that. Oh! I beat the Emerald and Ruby Weapons. Emerald was quite easy for me (coughcoughGamesharkcoughcough) and I beat it in the 20 minute limit (I didn't get the Underwater materia because I totall forgot that I had gotten the Guidebook). I had to challenge Ruby a few times. The first time, Ruby took Cloud and Yuffie away, so I was left with Red XIII and a Master Magic Materia. So that didn't do so good. So I tried again today, had Cloud cast Knights of the Round a few times before he was taken away, and I was left with Yuffie. All I did was cast Gauntlet, and kept just mimed it every turn. I didn't have to wait for the Limit Break bar to fill up, I just mimed! Wooo. So the guy gave me a Gold Chocobo, which I named "Beb" (I named my other chocobo "Taylor", so it fit). Then I went to the Gold Saucer and raced Beb in the chocobo races. Three words for Beb the chocobo:
He. Sucks. Ass.
I don't really care though...but it was really frustrating, seeing a big group of dots at the finish line on the map in the corner, and a blinking dot (that represented me and Beb) still circling the big spiral in the middle of the course. Not even in the middle of the course. I guess he's not a racing chocobo. He's just a chocobo to take on the world map. *sigh*.
What else do I have to ramble on about? I'm listening to my FFVIII OST once again. I actually stopped listening to it for a while. Instead, I listened to the FFVII OST (I only have a little over half of it). The "Prelude" and "Aeris' Theme" are my favorites probably. Aeris' Theme really gets to you after you've played the game, but I won't reveal anything. XP
Uhh...What else? My brother tells me that my Quake skills are improving a lot. Yay! We were going to play today, but my brother's computer locked up or something and after that, he wasn't in the mood to play... Ah well.
Last night, I watched three movies with Mena Suvari in them. First, "Loser", which wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Then "American Beauty" and "American Pie" (whoa, I didn't notice the coincidence before. Ha) at the same time. Sort of. I switched around. I didn't finish watching American Beauty and American Pie, because I went to bed. We have American Beauty on tape anyways, and I've already seen American Pie.
Enough yet? Yeah. I think so. Okie. Byee. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 02:01 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2001 Shopping!!
That's what I did today. Shopped. It was nice too. We were looking for a bathing suit, but we couldn't find any good ones. There were quite a few at Old Navy (only $1.99 too!), but unfortunately, each and every bathing suit (bikini's actually. Or is it two piece?) on the rack was size XXL. Every. Single. One.
That picnic I was going to go to tomorrow (er..today) was postponed because it's supposed to storm. So instead, it's pushed to next Sunday, the 5th. But I'll be at the beach...It's kinda disappointing. I was looking forward to the food.
While me and my mom were shopping, I saw the Princess Diaries soundtrack (this was in Target) so I picked it up and showed my mom a picture on the back that featured Robert. I had explained to her a few days ago who he was. I forgot to show her the article in Teen Vogue. Alex had sent me the picture from the magazine, but I read the article in the supermarket last week. I'll show it to her sooner or later. I think it's possible we might go see the movie (comes out this Friday!). It LOOKS like she might want to see it...and I have expressed interest in seeing it (Hm, I wonder why XD)
I think Monday, we're going out shopping again, cause my mom doesn't have to work. Sooo yeah...Wahoo :) Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 12:56 a.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2001 Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........
Oy it's late. I shouldn't be up. I actually went to sleep at around midnight, but woke up at like, quarter to 4. So now I'm up.
I found out tonight (or rather last night) that I actually DO have the Beatles "A Hard Days Night" (the movie) on tape. So I watched that. About halfway through, I started falling asleep and it didn't matter at that point in the movie since I had seen that half on another tape I have (the one with "Help!" on it. I missed the first half of "A Hard Days Night" when I was taping it, so only the 2nd half is on there). So there I was, sitting in my dad's recliner, and I just fell asleep. It was nice. But I woke up like a half an hour later and went up to bed.
What's tomorrow (er..today)? Friday, eh? Ah. Maybe I'll go shopping today. Dude, I really need a job. I've made $40 over the past like, 2 months. 20 from my mom to do the dishes, 10 from helping my brothers trim the bushes in my grandmothers front yard, and 10 from helping cut my other grandmother's lawn (actually I only used the weed cutter thingy and sweeped away grass on the sidewalk/driveway, but that's all my brother did too). I think I get a bit underpaid. My brothers made $100 for cutting those bushes, and I did my share, but they only gave me 10 bucks. I volunteered to help! I could've stayed inside, sat on my butt, and just watched TV but no, I wanted to help.
I'm watching "Frequency" right now. It's been on quite a few times. But that's what these channels do. You miss it at 2 PM, catch it again at 5 PM. On a slightly different channel. It's on Starz 2 I think right now. It's gonna be on again in a couple of hours.
ACK I should get going now!! *rushes* Bye! Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 05:35 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2001 >_<
I'm mad at Envy.nu. Mad mad mad. I thought it had improved after the new look and stuff, but no. It's still as slow as it used to be *sigh*. Under the logo, it says "Where teens come to express themselves". *pauses to laugh her ass off*
Nothing to say...Oy. Hmm...I cannot tear myself away from this OST. I think my favorite is "Julia". It's short and sweet. Haha...That makes me think of Taylor's old "I think I'm having a thought". Peppered...
This computer skips a lot. My brothers and dad are convinced it's the network card (their whole discussion kinda flew over my head, and it didn't help that I had just woken up). So I dunno what they're gonna do about it. It skips the most when I'm playing Quake and when I'm surfing the net.
Sunday, we're going to this family picnic. I wonder if my dad's cousin is going to be there. She's getting my brother to make a family website, so if she's there, he's going to show her what he's done already. I'm excited. He asked me to make some graphics for the site, but I have no idea what to do. And plus, I hate Paint Shop Pro XP. I'd much rather have Adobe Photoshop or something. The cutout thing in PSP really sucks. Grr. And they give each brush two different colors. For example, let's say you're using the brush and you have a shade of red and a shade of blue as your colors. If you want to use the airbrush using those colors, you'll have to go pick them again, it won't carry over to another brush. So blah to that.
Ah....Must be going now Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 09:38 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2001 Blah blah blah...
Today was pretty boring. I woke up at...almost 1..or was it almost 2? I walked around for a while, then my mom made lunch. I ate, then...egh...me and the bros played some quake (I had to play a bit of hide and seek with one of my brothers. My oldest brother told me he wasn't in his room, and when I went to look he wasn't, so I looked all over the house and then I came back upstairs, and my brother told me "Why don't you go change?" so I went to my room and BAM he's in my bed, laughing. Dork. Turns out that when my oldest brother only thought he wasn't in his room, but he actually was, so he told him to go into my room, then told me to look for him). Afterwards...my mom, who's making this skirt for me (two actually, but only one today), had me try it on and asked me how long I wanted it and stuff. So I waited around some more...Before I knew it, it was time for dinner (the hide and seek didn't take long. It was the Quake games that did it). After dinner, my mom asked me if I wanted to come with her to her co-worker's apartment to feed her pets. So I went..they were in their little bag that they sleep in. I poked at the bag through the cage and one of them kinda hissed at me. Oops. While my mom prepared their little food dish and water dish thing, I looked at my mom's co-worker's (and her boyfriend's) anime collection, to see if I wanted to take any more DVDs (I had permission!). I didn't...so we left. My mom had to drop the car we were in off at the car dealership for a checkup or something, so we called my dad to come pick us up, since we had to leave the car there. Meanwhile, my mom and I looked at new cars. XD
After that, it's pretty blurry. We came back around 9...Egh...I was on the computer for a while, looking at Trigun sites, which then wanted me to watch my Trigun DVDs! I went to this one girl's site, and she was the translator person, so it was cool seeing her name in the credits. I only watched Volume 2 (Lost Past) and 3 (Wolfwood). I didn't get to watch my other one...I don't know the number, but it's Project Seeds (I always want to type "SeeD" from FFVIII. Grr). But I watched them mostly in Japanesse with English subtitles.
That took quite a while. I just finished watching them. Oh, and you know what? The English voice actor for Vash used to play the Black Power Ranger, so whenever the old Power Ranger show or movie is on, I'll start screaming "IT'S VASH IT'S VASH!!". MUAHAH XD
Yeeeah..That orange sherbet made me a bit hyper, eh?
By the way, I finished watching that Photon series. After like, the 4th or 5th episode, it started getting really...weird. Especially the last episode. It was like "But wait! The emperor isn't dead, and he's not the father of the so-called princess, but he's the father of Keyne! And it doesn't stop there! The emperor carries around Keyne's dead mother under his shirt!" But the ending was cute. I wouldn't recommend this series to the kiddies, it has quite a bit of anime nudity in it. XP But the males (Okay, only one of them, but he was the only one who appeared nude) had "strategically placed dots", a site called them.
kimmay's new Japanese word of the day: "Baka" Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 01:42 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2001 XD
My mom's co-worker let us borrow a few DVDs of theirs, cause she and her boyfriend are going on vacation and my mom has to feed her pets. So tonight, me and my mom went over there so she could show her what to do, and I tagged along. She picked out a few DVDs she thought we might like. There were two Chinese comedies, and two animes. I've watched one of the Chinese ones (God of Cookery. hahah), and all of one of the animes (Perfect Blue), and two episodes from the last anime (Photon).
God of Cookery was really funny, but it was only in subtitles and they frequently showed messages in Chinese which we couldn't read. Other than that, it was hilarious. It was about this guy, called the "god of cookery". He has a bunch of restaurants all over the country, and then, an evil assistant of his gets him kicked out and he takes over. That's all I should say. And plus, I don't exactly remember what happened, cause I watched it a few hours ago.
Perfect Blue was really confusing at first, but at the end, you finally realize what was going on. The way they put it together was amazing. It was about this girl, Mima, who used to be a pop star but became an actress instead. Then she starts getting stalked and stuff and hallucinates or something. While you're watching it, you can't really tell what's real and what's a hallucination. It's so cool.
After that, I started watching the Photon one, but only watched 2 episodes (out of 6) because I didn't want to be watching it until 6 AM. Anyways, Photon (Earth is his last name) is this guy who has superstrength, and he used to love this girl, but the girl went away and got married and asked Photon to take care of her little sister. The little sister's name is Aun (pronounced kinda like..."On") and she runs away to find this rock star guy. He has to go and find her, and he does catch her, but while they're camping out and he's sleeping (in a little box..), she ditches him (after writing "Idiot" in Japanese on his forehead). He continues to look for her, but falls into this huge canyon, and then falls farther down..somewhere and finds this girl, named Keyne, sleeping. He writes the same thing on her forehead, but on her planet, putting a crest on someone elses forehead means that you're getting married. So now the two are engaged. This guy is looking for Keyne, because he sees her as a trophy (her grandfather was a famous soldier or something..) and then he can marry this princess. They're trying to escape him, and that's all I've seen really.
Okay. After leaving my mom's co-worker's apartment, I told my mom that her co-worker and her boyfriend would probably be going to that anime convention in Baltimore next month (Otakon). I told her I really want to go, and she said that if they're going, she'll ask if I can go with them! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AUGH! I'M SO HAPPPPYYYYYY!!!!!!
And I still have something in my eye. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 03:12 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2001 "Compression of Time"
That's the name of the song I'm listening to. It's from the FFVIII OST. It was composed by Nobuo Uematsu. XD
So tra la la. I am insanely bored. The "Princess Diaries" is going to be in a theater near you in exactly three weeks. Please go see it. One of the actors in the film is Robert Schwartzman(-Cage). I really don't like adding the "Cage". When you hear it, you either think his cousin (Nicholas Cage), or a zoo. I wonder if he added it by himself or someone suggested he do it.
I'm in a really weird mood (not a bad weird mood though) right now. I don't know why. Anyways...On the desk in front of me, there are two speakers, a desk lamp, a computer microphone, a home automation remote (turns on lights in the house), a pack of charcoal pencils I got from the craft store, a keyboard, a pair of scissors, two pens, two pencils, a mini screwdriver, two twist-ties (those things you get at the market to close bags), an old little case of wax (for braces), two batteries, 5 pieces of mini origami, a napkin, my "HTML 4 for Dummies", a Five-Star notebook, random paper, a little post-it pad, a mouse, mousepad, and computer monitor. I went into detail a little too much I think.
I beat FFVIII once again today. It was really easy. The first time I attempted to take on Ultimecia, she chose Selphie, Zell, and Irvine (I think), and no Squall so I reset. The party I wanted was Selphie, Squall, and Rinoa, but after I reset, she still didn't choose that party. But I went with the one she chose anyways (Zell, Squall, Irvine). After I beat it, I watched the ending (it's so cute!), and reset again to go challenge the Omega Weapon. I only really used Squall's limit break (Renzokuken, I think it's spelled). I kept looking for Selphie's "The End", but I never got it so I just kept going with spells like Ultima and Meteor. Rinoa kept casting Wishing Star. The battle wasn't long at all...Well...I did summon Doomtrain first.
Going back to the ending, I didn't realize that the old Final Fantasy melody played at the end of the "Ending Theme" too. It's played in "The Loser" as well. I really love that melody, and I was suprised it wasn't played that much.
I got a new desktop picture. It's Pikachu...I like it. It's just a picture of Pikachu against a dark red background. I like ones with a solid color background, because then it's easy to change the background color of the icons too. Plus, Pikachu's expression is so cute. XD
Am I writing too much?
I don't know what else to write, so I'll end here. I'll probably add another entry soon, if I do have anything I forgot to say. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 08:32 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2001 Yayyyyyyyy
New Princess Diaries pictures! Or at least...ones that I hadn't seen before. They're here, at IMDB.com. Yaaaaaayyyyy! They made a few mistakes though, calling Erik von Detten, Robert a few times.
Okay, I'm a little too giddy now. And I have something in my eye..Giddiness and something in your eye is not good. Not good at all. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 01:33 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2001 Bwahhaha
I played FFVIII mostly today. Let's see...I woke up right as my mom was leaving to go take my grandmother somewhere, and then fell asleep on the couch. Then my bros. came down and started bothering me, so I went and slept in my dad's new recliner (Father's Day gift). After that, I woke up, ate an apple, and began my FFVIII playing. I got all of the ultimate weapons! Yayy! And I put a gameshark code on so they always get their limit breaks. I had never actually seen the limit breaks in action, because I'm weak and used a code so they were invincible all the time. Almost all of my GFs have learned all their abilities (except Doomtrain, Bahamut, Tonberry, and Eden because I just got them).
To top the day off, I got my Band in the USA today too. XD
So that's it. Bye bye Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 07:57 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2001 o_O?
Okie. Bored. Very. Bored.
I really want to go to this anime convention in August...Otakon. But I have no one to gooo with. I can only go the last day (Sunday) because Friday and Saturday, I'll be in Ocean City on vacation. Well...maybe late Saturday. But it costs more on Saturday ($30 I think. It's only $15 on Sunday). I'm not sure exactly what I'd do..but still! I WANT TO GO. I want to see cosplayers! I want to buy the mangas of Trigun and whatnot! I want to see the cool Japanese guests!
Speaking of anime, I think I may use Vash for a new layout XD. I can't think of anything else. And I seriously need to buff up on my HTML. Last night I was testing some stuff out with tables, and I was pulling my hair out because I didn't know what in hell I was doing. So I'll have to do that before fooling with the layout ever again.
That's all folks. Written, abandoned, deleted, and written again by kimmay at 11:39 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2001 *falls asleep*
Urrgh...I just woke up about a half an hour ago. I"m already listening to the FFVIII OST MP3s my bro put on a CD for mee. XD I'm thinking about burning them to four CDs so then I can listen to them on my CD player and it'll be like I have the actual collection. :)
I wish I could demonstrate what I did yesterday with all 74 songs, but no. 74 is too many.
For some reason, I now have a habit of copying down parts of the script from some of the games I've been playing. Twice with FFVIII (Squall's thoughts when Ellone is taken to the White SeeD ship and when they all begin to remember the orphanage) and once with Zelda: Majora's Mask (after the battle with Igos du Ikana. Y'know, the "Feeble!" conversation). I began typing up the second FFVIII one, but I haven't finished quite yet. I actually wrote the entire thing down in this notebook I have (Yes. I am crazy) and it took up approximately 7 pages. And I don't write big at all. The other two took up less than a page, so that was good.
Ahhh..Now I'm |
